It'd been two days since Ricky was discharged from the hospital. The Warners were glad that he could come home to the Water Tower, but slowly began to realise that Ricky was...less zany than usual. They'd go out and have fun, but Ricky would just remain quiet and just keep a blank face all day long. He didn't even laugh whenever they made special friends. Instead, whenever he could, he'd take a walk all day and not return until bedtime. This had gone on and the Warners were now getting worried.

It was morning on the third day. The four toons had eaten breakfast and were in the middle of cleaning up.

"Hey Ricky." Yakko said, hoping to get Ricky to follow them today.

"The answer's no." Ricky said in a bored tone as Wakko ate the leftovers. He put on his jacket and started walking towards the shield door.

"Hold on Ricky." Yakko said as he stepped in his way. "What's gotten into you?"

"Nothing. Now please move." Ricky said.

"Don't give us that Ricky." Yakko said as he crossed his arms.

"Ever since you got out of the hospital, you've been pushing us away." Dot said.

"Did we do something wrong?" Wakko asked. Ricky just looked at each of them before sighing.

"You remember what I said about being a foster kid?" Ricky asked.

"Yeah." they said. Ricky stayed quiet for awhile before answering.

"Part of me's waiting for you guys to find a reason to kick me out." he finally said.

"What?!" they all said, shocked and a little hurt that he'd think that.

"It's what I've gone through my whole life!" Ricky said, getting a little upset before calming down.

"Everyone says that I'll fit right in, only to turn around and throw me to some other family." Ricky said. "It's gotten to the point that I don't even try to get attached to the family."

"You didn't act that way when you had amnesia." Yakko stated as he pulled out the photo of them at the carnival. "You smiled like this." Ricky stared at the photo of the four of them looking zany and happy. He smiled a moment before it faded from his face, but not fast enough.

"Ah. I saw that." Dot said.

"Why don't you smile like that anymore?" Wakko asked.

"I just...ever since I started remembering, I've also felt angry and hurt as well." Ricky said. "The more I remember...the less I want to remember." he said as he pulled out his music player, only to look at it and facepalm. "Nuts! I forgot again."

"Forgot what? Other than everything?" Yakko quipped.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. You're a comedian Yakko." Ricky said sarcastically. "Whenever I felt down or wanted to think, I pulled this out to listen to. One problem though."

"Dead?" Dot asked.

"Dead." Ricky said.

"Should we lay it to rest?" Wakko asked as he was dressed as an undertaker with a fresh grave in front of him and a gravestone reading 'R.I.P.'.

"No!" Ricky said. "I just need to figure out how to give it some juice." he said as he pushed the ON button, only to read DEAD BATTERY on the screen. "Darn."

"You know," Yakko said. "I think I may know someone who can help us."

"Who?" Ricky asked.

(Line Break)

After a short run, the four toons were standing in front of a building. Ricky looked up at the name and raised an eyebrow.

"Acme Labs?" he said in confusion.

"Yeah." Wakko said as Yakko looked inside before he opened the door and they all walked inside.

"Brain's good with these kind of things." Dot said as they walked around a bit looking for Brain.

"Brain?" Ricky asked. 'Why does that name sound familiar?' he thought. They four toons walked through the building until they came to a room. Inside were a variety of things. Beakers, test tubes, lab equipment, and a small metal cage with two white mice inside. 'Wait a minute. Don't tell me.' he thought as the taller mouse looked at them all from inside his wheel.

"Oh look Brain!" Pinky said as he looked at them all. "It's the Warn-" he said before his eyes got wide at the new Warner. Unfortunately, his legs stopped as well, causing the wheel to fling him about before throwing him into the wall of the cage.

"The Warners?" Brain asked, not even looking away from his latest plans to take over the world.

"Uh, Brain? You might wanna take a look at this." Pinky said as he stared at Ricky. Brain sighed before turning around to say something to Pinky, only to have his words die in his throat at the sight of a fourth Warner.

"Another one?" Brain asked in utter confusion.

"Is that gonna keep happening everywhere I go with you guys?" Ricky asked.

"Yes." the trio answered with a smile.

"Lucky me." Ricky said in with a blank face before looking at the two mice. "Name's Ricky Torrent. Nice to meet ya."

"Oh Brain look!" Pinky shouted after waking from his daze and standing up. "The Warners have a new friend! NARF!"

"I can see that Pinky." Brain said as the Warners and Ricky all leaned down to Brain's eye level. "So, who are you Ricky?" he asked. The four toons then explained what they had been doing since Ricky arrived. About his memory loss and slow recovery, his fear of deep water, and other things. "So you have no idea where you were before you ended up here then?"

"Nope." Ricky said. "Right now I'm just picking up the pieces. With their help." he said as he motioned towards the Warners, who smiled back.

"I see." Brain said with his hand to his chin. "So, did you need my help with finding your memory?"

"That would be nice," Ricky said. "But what we came here for was help with this." he said as he lifted his dead music iPod up to him. "It's dead and we have no way to charge it."

"Hmm." Brain said as he looked at the device. As he, Pinky, and the Warners all looked at it trying to figure out how to charge it, Ricky side-eyed Brain's latest plans.

'Oh boy.' he thought. 'Another plan.' He saw that they were all distracted by his music player and decided to have some fun. Without them noticing, he snatched the plans and started rewriting them a bit before putting them back. 'Hope they don't notice.'

"This looks like it'll take some doing to figure out." Brain said at last. "I'll see what I can do. Come back tomorrow."

"Okay." the four of them said before leaving. After they did, Brain started to work on the device while Pinky had a rare, thoughtful expression on his face.

'That new Warner reminds me of that nice doctor. NARF!'

A/N: It's a little short, but it's the best I could come up with.
