A Jurassic trip to Mobius!
Chapter 6: Return of Yoder.
Eggman sat at his desk as he pondered to himself on what to do for his next evil plan but nothing had come into his mind, he tapped his pencil onto a piece of paper laid down on his desk and became annoyed by the noise he was making.
"I can't think of anything! Blast that Sonic for ruining so many of my genius master plans!" he yelled as he slammed his hands onto his desk.
"Doctor, are you okay?" Bokkun asked as he flew towards his master.
"No I am not okay! I can't come up with a delightfully evil idea to destroy that blasted hedgehog!" Eggman said angrily "if only I had something to use as a way of destroying Sonic!"
"Maybe you can kidnap that lynx girl!" Bokkun suggested "he would probably do anything to get her back! Maybe he'll even give you the chaos emeralds!"
"We've tried that with Amy Rose dozens of times! Think harder worthless piece of metal!" Eggman yelled "we need something completely evil to-"
"Sir, your cousin Maria is here to see you" an egg-pawn said as it walked into the room.
"Good! Send her in!" Eggman said.
"Yes sir" the egg-pawn said, turning around and walked out of the room, Eggman waited patiently at his desk for his cousin to walk into the room, the door to the room opened to reveal the blonde hedgehog with a basket in her hands.
"Hi Julian!" she said warmly.
"Greetings Maria" Eggman said as he got up from his desk and walked over to her and shook her hand "what brings you to my lair?"
"I was in the neighborhood and I heard that you tried to destroy Jess's dad and failed, so I came to cheer you up!" Maria said as she reached into the basket and pulled out a flower "here you go!" Eggman groaned quietly and grabbed the flower from her hand and gave a crooked smile at her to show he cared…In an evil doctor way.
"Thank you" he said.
"You're welcome!" she said as she turned around.
"Wait, where are you going?" he asked.
"I have to get back to the ARK and prepare dinner for me and the others, you want to come along?" she asked.
"Er…No thanks, I already ate" he lied, not wanting to be near Shadow, Jess and Dr. Harding.
"Alright, suit yourself! Bye Julian!" she said as she walked out of the room, Eggman walked backed to his chair and sat down when Docoe and Bocoe walked into the room.
"Doctor! We have something you may want to see!" Docoe said as the two ran over to his desk and held out a canister in front of his face.
"What did I tell you two about touching my canisters?!" he shouted angrily.
"This isn't yours! We found this during our trip to earth!" Bocoe said.
"Since when did you two go to earth?" Eggman asked suspiciously, Bocoe and Docoe looked at each other and nervously sweated.
"Anyway, we were on an island and found some hair on the ground…" Docoe was cut off when the two heard the doctor snoring, having fallen asleep from boredom of the story from the two.
"Should we wake him?" Bocoe asked.
"I believe it is better if do the experiment we were planning on for him so that he will to have to do the hard work" Docoe said.
"Great idea!" Bocoe said and the quickly left the room…
Neo Green Hill Zone…
Metal Sonic walked along the green grassy zone on the search for a certain Lynx, small animals played in the trees and watched the metallic robot from a safe distance, Metal Sonic looked all around the area but saw no sign of the lynx.
"Hey Metal!" a familiar voice called out to him, Metal Sonic looked to see Jess walking towards him "funny seeing you here".
"As well as seeing you here, I supposed" Metal Sonic said "does your father know you're here?"
"Not really, I told him I was going with Tails to see a movie" Jess said "but now that we're alone, you want to go for a walk?" Metal Sonic looked at her with his lifeless black eyes for a few moments, he was trying to understand the concept of her but he couldn't focus with a Flickie pecking his eyes every 5 seconds.
"I suppose so" Metal Sonic said.
"Great! Let's go!" Jess said as she grabbed his hand and led him down the zone, Metal Sonic kept his gaze at her and tried hard to ignore her and have the urge to kill her, as he was programmed her to do…But he didn't want to, he felt his urge to kill this life form slip away and the feeling to grab a hold of her and hug her filled the urge.
"Jess! Look out!" a familiar voice shouted, Metal looked away from Jess to see a speeding blue blur charging towards him and quickly attacked him, sending him crashing into a tree, Metal Sonic looked up to see Sonic the hedgehog with his hands balled into fists, Jess watched from behind Sonic with a worried look on her face "don't worry Jess! I'll turn this guy into scrap metal in no time!"
"Sonic, no!" Jess gasped, Sonic jumped up into the air, curled up into a ball and did a homing attack, hitting Metal Sonic in the chest "Metal!" Jess shouted with fear.
"Alright!" Sonic said, Metal quickly powered down and fell onto his side, Jess quickly rushed over to him and grabbed him "Jess, stay away from that monster, why are you grabbing him?"
"I'll explain later! I have to take him to Gerald!" Jess said as she ran away, Sonic watched as he saw his new friend run and shrugged.
"Hey, if it's an earth thing, let it be so" he said "but I better follow her, who knows what Metal could do to her if he wakes up!" Sonic started to chase after his friend but from a safe distance to make sure she didn't know he was following her, he watched as Jess carried the deactivated robot in her arms and tried hard not to cry, making Sonic even more confused than usual.
Meanwhile…
"Bocoe! Docoe! Where is my jacket?" Eggman asked as he walked down the hallway of his lair, he suddenly saw light coming from beneath a door and walked over to investigate it, he opened the door to see Bocoe and Docoe working hard at one of the doctor's computer, putting in numbers and codes for the experiment they were working on.
"Do you think the doctor will thank us for our discovery?" Bocoe asked.
"Perhaps, he might even give us a raise!" Docoe said.
"You might want to try harder to think of that!" Eggman yelled, Docoe and Bocoe screamed and turned around to see the doctor with his arms crossed and angered look on his face "what are two idiots doing in here, in my computer room?!"
"Doctor! When did you get here?" Bocoe asked sheepishly.
"I do not have time for you two idiots to ask me questions!" Eggman yelled "what are two nincompoops doing in here?!"
"We were busy working on an evil idea that is sure to work!" Docoe said.
"And that is?" Eggman growled.
"When were on earth, we discovered about a man Jess once knew and trusted" Bocoe said "she knew back on an island! However, he was killed but we have found a way to bring him back!"
"If we clone him, then he'll gain Jess's trust again until we can put the next part of the plan into action!" Docoe said, Eggman grew interested in this idea and scratched his chin.
"I see, have you two successfully cloned him yet?" Eggman asked as he tapped his foot.
"Almost, we just need to put in the last bits of the code" Docoe said as he and Bocoe turned back to the computer screen, Eggman walked over to the two robots and looked over their shoulders to see the computer screen and saw the image of a man on the screen "alright doctor! It's ready!"
"Excellent! Let the plan commence!" Eggman said, Docoe and Bocoe nodded and typed onto the computer screen, a glass cylinder came down from the ceiling and stood firmly on the ground, Eggman and his two robots watched as the cylinder filled up with smoke, the smoke cleared a few minutes to reveal a man in military clothing and a shave that nearly made him bald on his head stood in the cylinder. Eggman scratched his chin and walked over to the cylinder and looked at the man, the man looked back at the doctor with a confused look on his face and tapped on the glass.
"Uh…What's going on?" the man asked.
"Success! A brilliant success!" Eggman said as he turned around and walked back to Bocoe and Docoe "so this is man who Jessica knew! Excellent work you two! I should be giving you both a raise!"
"Really?" the two asked with excitement.
"No!" Eggman said, disappointing the two.
"Hey! Mind telling me what's going on here?" the man asked.
"Certainly, my good man!" Eggman said as he turned to face the man and gave a bow "my name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik! But you may call me Dr. Eggman!" the man looked blankly at the doctor for a few seconds before chuckling under his breath.
"Right, and I'm the queen of England" the man said.
"Now then, there's no reason to be so rude" Eggman said "mind telling me who you are?"
"Billy Yoder" the man said "my name is Billy Yoder".
Meanwhile…
Jess came running into the main room of the ark with Metal Sonic in arms and tears running down her face, Maria and Molly quickly saw her and rushed over to her.
"Jess! What's wrong?" Maria asked.
"Metal is hurt! We need to get to Gerald!" Jess said as the two Mobian hedgehogs led her to Gerald's lab "I was waiting for him in one of the zones and Sonic mistook it for an attack! Metal wasn't trying to hurt me at all!"
"Wait, why waiting for him in one of the zones?" Maria asked.
"No reason!" Jess said.
"Seriously, why were you-" Molly was cut off when the three entered Gerald's lab to see the hedgehog working on one of his inventions.
"Grandfather! We need your help!" Maria said as Jess placed Metal Sonic on a table, Gerald looked up to see the girls and Metal Sonic and nodded.
"What seems to be the problem?" Gerald asked as he walked over to him.
"Metal Sonic" Jess said, Gerald looked down at him to see the broken chest of Metal Sonic.
"I see, give me a few minutes and I'll have him up and running" Gerald said as he walked over to his toolbox and grabbed it and walked back over to Metal Sonic "now then, let's just open this up and…" he grabbed his screwdriver from his toolbox and used it to open the chest of Metal Sonic to see a mess of broken steel and tangled wires, making him a little nervous "well…This could take a little longer than expected…"
Many hours later…
Jess laid on her bed in Maria's room as she waited for Gerald to return with the fixed up Metal Sonic, she turned to the window of the ARK to see Mobius in its glory and the space around it, she smiled and got up from her bed to see Mobius a little better when the door to her room slid open and she turned around to see Gerald standing with Metal Sonic, the gray hedgehog smiled at her and nodded.
"Took me awhile but I finally managed to fix him" Gerald said "warning, he may still have a bug or two in him but they're not dangerous".
"Thanks Prof" Jess said as she walked over to him and smiled.
"Anytime young lady" Gerald said as he turned around and walked down the hallway, Jess wrapped her arm around Metal Sonic and led him into the room, the cold eyes of the robot had now been upgraded to bright and lively eyes, his chest had been fixed down to the latest detail and his metallic claws turned into finger-shape.
"I'm happy that you're okay" Jess said as she looked at him "I thought you were going to die".
"It takes a lot more to kill me" Metal Sonic chuckled "promise not to tell Shadow I'm here? I don't he'll like it if I'm here".
"Promise" Jess said as she hugged him.
"Thanks" Metal said as he returned the hug.
