"Don't let go." Was all he said before he gunned it, tires squealing as he sped off, barely fitting between two of the Mayan bikes. Jessica held on as tight as she could, squeezing her eyes shut. She could hear bikes following them, chasing as they flew down the street. Jessica didn't dare open her eyes. Tig was speeding, weaving through cars barely crashing.

"Take you phone out and text Clay!" Tig yelled over his shoulder. "Tell him the Mayans are chasing us. He needs to get to the highway, and bring more than 5 boys."

Jess nodded and let go of his waist to pull her phone out, quickly texting Clay with shaky fingers. She yelled when Tig took a hard turn and she clung to Tig, trying not to fall off. They made it to the highway, and now they just had to wait for the boys to come and get them. Tig looked behind him for a second, and Jessica screamed, seeing a car coming right at them.

"Tig!" She screamed before everything went black.

When Jessica came to, she was laying on a stretcher, strapped down by her arms and legs. She looked around, confused. What happened? And why couldn't she hear anything? Reality hit her hard and she started to struggle, only to scream out in pain. She was being wheeled away down the hallway in a hospital, but the hospital wasn't St. Thomas, which meant she wasn't in Charming. Her ears started to ring, loud sounds invading her head as she tried to concentrate and focus her eyes. Blinking wasn't helping, so she tried to lift her hands to rub at her eyes, only causing a pain to shoot up her left arm. She yelled and was pushed down by a hand on her chest.

"Stay still." The voice told her. It was a man's voice, booming loud in her sensitive ears. The voice spoke again, and she realized the accent was Spanish. Panic and fear filled her body as she looked up at the Mexican wheeling her down the hall.

"No." She struggled again, ignoring the throbbing pain in her arm. "No!" She yelled that time, trying to sit up. She looked around more, her heart sinking when she saw Tig lying unconscious on a hospital bed. "Tig!" Jessica yelled, tears streaming down her face. She managed to get loose from the straps and rolled off of the stretcher, falling onto the floor with a scream. The nurses tried to help her up, but she pushed them away.

"You need to lay back down." One of the nurses spoke softly, trying to pull her up.

"Get off of me!" Jess screeched, stumbling over to Tig's bed. "Tiggy." She shook his body before she turned back to the nurses, eyes wide with fear. "Is he alive?" She whispered, gripping Tig's limp hand. One of the nurses, a girl shorter than her, walked up slowly.

"He is alive." The nurse said softly. "But he is in a coma." She slowly approached Jess, holding her hands up calmly to show that she wasn't going to harm her. "Miss, you need to lay back down."

"No." She whispered, left arm limp at her side as she hunched over Tig. Jessica had to protect Tig while he was unconscious. She looked around and her eyes widened at the name of the hospital.

"Miss. I need you to lay down on your bed." The nurse said with a little bit more force.

"I'm in Lodi?" Jessica asked the nurse, who just nodded and tried to touch her. "No! Stay away from me." She looked around at the hospital, seeing a group of Mayans coming towards them. They drew their guns and Jessica stood her ground, not afraid to die.

"Drop it!" A loud voice shouted and Jessica fell to her knees in relief, thanking the heavens for having her cousin in her life. She looked up to see Happy standing there with Armando and Kozik, their guns drawn on the Mayans.

"We don't want any trouble." Armando said in an even lower, gruff voice. "We just want to take our family and leave." Jessica stood back up and composed herself, checking Tig over. He had a huge gash on his head and a broken leg. Kozik came over to her and looked down at Tig with worried eyes.

"How is he?" Kozik asked, subtly reaching down to touch Tig's hand.

"He's fine. He's just unconscious and he's /not/ in a coma." She snarled, looking back at the nurse. "We gotta get him to St. Thomas though. They'll fix his leg."

Kozik nodded and opened his phone, calling Juice to bring the van to Lodi General Hospital. Tig's bike was ruined, but it was salvageable, sitting on the side of the road so they would need to get it later with the flatbed. 20 minutes later, they were on their way back to Charming, Tig and Jess in the back of the van. Half way there, Tig started to stir, gaining consciousness.

"Jess." Tig whispered, blinking his eyes open. Jess kneeled down and took his hand.

"Don't move, baby. Stay still." Jess said softly, looking down at him. Tig seemed to start to realize what happened and he tried to sit up. "Tig. You have to calm down. I'm okay. And you have a broken leg." She pushed him back down with a hand on his chest.

"Where are we?" Tig asked, looking around the van. "How bad are you hurt?" Tig asked as he saw her shoulder. "We could have died!" His eyes widened in fear. Tig lifted his leg and yelled out in pain, clutching at his own thigh. His head thumped back against the hard floor of the van and his breathing became fast, his body shaking violently.

"Juice! Drive faster! He's going into shock!" Jessica tried to calm him down by pressing him fully down on the floor and lifted his leg up in the air.

Juice drove as fast as he could to St. Thomas. They arrived only minutes later, and the guys opened the back doors to the van. Tig was moaning and groaning, blood pouring out of his leg where the bone was sticking through. Jessica forgot about her arm and yelled out in pain when she tried to lift Tig, helping the guts. Armando, Kozik and Happy took Tig inside and got him set up with a doctor. Juice helped Jessica inside, holding her arm so she didn't hurt herself anymore.

Hours later, when it was dark out, Jessica was falling asleep in the waiting room. Tig had been taken into surgery to fix his leg. The bone had broken through the skin and it was bad. Jess had only gotten a dislocated shoulder, an easy fix. Jessica's head fell forwards; asleep right away. The doctor in charge of Tig came out and saw a waiting room full of bikers, which wasn't very common. He noticed the only girl in the room, seeing that she was asleep. He was guessing that she was Tig's girlfriend.

"Are you Alexander Trager's family?" He asked, stepping into the room. Everyone's head popped up, except Jessica's, who was still asleep. Happy stood up and walked over to the doctor, Kozik trailing behind him.

"Yeah, we're his brothers. Is he alright?" Happy asked. The doctor was a little freaked out that this big bad biker dude actually cared about someone, especially when he saw what Happy looked like.

"Alexander is fine. He is asleep right now, but he should be awake soon enough." The doctor looked back at to the girl. "Is that Jessica?" He asked Happy.

"Yeah." Happy nodded, looking back at Jessica. "Why? Do you need her?"

"Not at this second, but Alexander was yelling out her name." The doctor said quietly. "You can go back in and see him if you want. He's in room 204." The doctor told them before he turned and walked back down the hallway. Happy turned around and looked at the rest of the guys.

"We'll see him when we get back from church." Clay said as he walked into the waiting room. Everyone turned and looked at him, Jessica finally waking up. The boys stood up and stretched, walking towards the exit.

"Prospect. Stay with her." Happy said before the boy could stand up. Jessica rubbed at her eyes and groaned, standing up.

"What's going on?" She asked, walking over to Happy. He hugged her and kissed her head.

"We're going to church. I'll be back in an hour or two. Tig is out of surgery, you can see him now, but he's asleep. Happy pulled back and took a phone out of his cut, handing it to her. "Call if something happens."

Jessica watched as the boys walked out of the hospital, and rode off back to the clubhouse. She knew that there would be some Sons outside. They wouldn't just leave her with one prospect. Jessica sighed deeply and walked down the hall to Tig's room, the prospect following her.

"They left you on guard duty?" Jessica smiled when she saw Opie sitting outside of the room. The man looked up and nodded with a smile.

"Yep. I'm your guard dog." Opie stood up and pulled her in for a hug. "How you holding up?" He asked, pulling back to look down at her. Jessica shrugged and bit her bottom lip, shoving her hands in her pockets.

"I dunno." She mumbled, actually stopping to think about what had been going on. It sank into her brain and a wave of emotions hit her hard. She shook her head and squeezed her eyes shut, moving in to hug Opie again. The biker wrapped his long arms around her and rubbed her back as she cried into his chest.

"It'll be okay." Opie soothed, rubbing her back. "You know we'll pull through this. We always do." Opie moved to sit down in the chair and pulled Jessica into his lap. "C'mon. Where's the badass Jessie I know?" Jessica let out a soft laugh and wiped at her eyes, pulling back to look at him.

"Thank you, Ope." She whispered, leaning in to kiss his cheek. Once again, Opie was there for her, like a real big brother would. She just wished that Opie was with her in Boston when she was trying to get over her parents death.

"You're welcome." Opie smiled and brushed her hair out of her face. "Go see him. The doc said he should be awake soon." Opie said as he pushed Jessica off his lap.

Jessica nodded and fixed her hair before she slowly walked into the room. Tig was laid on the hospital bed; bottom half of his leg in a cast. He looked so pale and weak. The total opposite of what he usually looked like. Jessica bit her lip and walked over to him slowly, noticing that he had a tube down his throat to help him breathe. Jessica let out the breath she had been holding in and sat down in the pink chair next to the hospital bed. She leaned forward with her elbows on her knees and held her head in her hands. This wasn't supposed to happen. She was supposed to run away from her problems when she left Boston, not run right into the arms of them. It was a given that she would get back with Tig. But she didn't know that she would come right before the Mayans decided to declare war on the Sons. If Jess never had never came back to Charming, and never came back into Tig's life, then Tig wouldn't be laying on that bed. He wouldn't have to have gotten surgery. Now, he couldn't ride. He couldn't vote. He couldn't do anything for a few months. And it was all Jessica's fault. Jessica eventually fell asleep in the uncomfortable chair, snoring softly.

Tig stirred in the hospital bed, blinking his eyes open. His eyes roamed around the room before they set on Jessica, sprawled out in the chair. He smiled and started to speak, but ended up choking on the breathing tube. He started to panic, not able to breathe. Tig slapped his hand down on the bed, waking Jessica up. She opened her eyes and bolted up, going over to take the breathing tube out carefully. Good thing she was medically trained.

"Relax." She placed a hand on his chest and he coughed, letting her take the tube out. Jessica set it down on the table next the bed. "Want some water?" She asked, reaching for the pitcher of ice water and a cup.

"Jess." He whispered with a hoarse voice, looking up at her. Jessica smiled sadly at him, leaning down to kiss his head.

"Hey Tiggy. How are you feeling?" She asked softly, helping him sit up so he could drink some water. Jessica knew that he was on heavy duty pain pills; she could see in his eyes. They were clouded, and very unfocused.

"I feel great." Tig smiled wide, looking up at her. "Come lay with me." He mumbled, moving over on the bed so Jessica had room. Jessica rolled her eyes and climbed onto the bed, mindful of his injuries.

"The boys should be coming soon." She said as she pressed her face into Tig's chest. The man smiled brightly and pulled her close.

"Where's my Kozik?" Tig mumbled, his brows furrowed. "He said he would be here with me." Tig hummed and smiled again, high off this ass. "My Kozi."

"What are you talking about, Tig?" Jessica asked with a confused look. Tig must have been so high because she'd never heard him talk like that before. Jessica could hear people talking outside of the room and she turned to see Kozik walking in.

"Kozik!" Tig reached out for him. Kozik bit his lip and avoided Jessica's eyes as he went over to the side of Tig's bed, reaching out to grab his hand.

"I'm here Tiggy." He said softly, smiling down at him. Jessica looked at them like they were insane.

"Am I missing something here?" She asked, still shocked at their behavior. Kozik looked up at her slowly, biting his lip.

"Let's just say, a lot's happened in the past seven years." He smiled guiltily, and Jessica's jaw dropped.

"No. Fucking. Way." She whispered, looking between the two. Her face broke into a grin and she started to laugh. "Oh my God." She laughed harder, looking up at Kozik. "Why didn't you fucking tell me?" Jessica asked, standing up. Kozik stood as well, shrugging.

"I dunno." Kozik said as he looked down at Tig with a true smile. "Didn't know if he wanted you to know." Tig was passed out by that point, the pain meds helping him.

"I cannot fucking believe this." Jessica laughed and went over to Kozik, hugging him. No wonder Tig was so okay with her and Kozik fooling around. Jessica pulled back when the thought came to her head. "I'm in a love triangle." She smiled. Kozik laughed and sat down again.

"Yes you are." He grinned and pulled her down on his lap. Jessica grinned and rested her head on his shoulder.

"So." Jessica said after a few seconds. "Who tops?" Kozik rolled his eyes, pushing her playfully.

The next day, when Tig was discharged from the hospital, everyone was at the club, drinking and partying that Tig was alive. Jessica was still in shock about Tig and Kozik's little secret. Chibs called out to everyone that there were Mayans at the front gate and Jessica leaned over the counter to look at the monitors. She almost fell off the bar when she saw who was there.

At the front gate was a man named Felipe Hernandez. He was a year older than Jessica, and he was her ex boyfriend. When Jessica was in Boston going to college, she'd met Felipe at a club. Jess had no idea that he was a Mayan, though. He seemed so nice and loving, and she would've never guessed he was a biker since he was the complete opposite of Tig. Jessica thought it would be a good idea to date someone out of her comfort zone. Well, apparently, she didn't search too far. She still ended up with a biker. They were together for three years until he suddenly just broke up with her and moved across the country. Now she knew why he left.

Jessica snapped back to reality when someone pushed on her shoulder. It was Sofie, staring with wide eyes at the monitor.

"Jess! It's Felipe!" She said loudly, causing everyone to look at them. "What is he doing here?" Of course, Sofie didn't connect the leather vest on his back with a motorcycle club. "And why is he with those men?" Happy walked over to them and pulled Jessica off of the bar.

"You know him?" Happy asked in a low voice. Jessica sighed and nodded her head.

"Yeah. His name is Felipe. I used to date him." Happy's jaw clenched and Jessica shook her head. "I didn't know he was a Mayan, Hap." She said as she put a hand on his shoulder. She would never, ever knowingly date a man from another club.

"Chibs, Hap, Koz. Go see what they want." Clay ordered and the three men nodded, walking towards the door. Jess sighed and watched the monitor, looking at Felipe. The more she looked at him, the more memories filled her mind of the three years that they were together. Jessica looked back at the couch, seeing that Tig was looking at her with narrowed eyes. She sighed heavily and walked over to him.

"Who is that?" Tig asked when she sat down next to him. Jessica chewed her lip for a second before she let her head fall back on the couch.

"I kinda dated him in Boston." She said, looking over at him. "And, no. I didn't know he was a Mayan." Tig scoffed and looked away, crossing his arms over his chest.

"You dated the Mayan." Tig reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose.

"I know, Tig. I know." Jessica felt like such an idiot for not knowing for three years that Felipe was a Mayan. Jessica looked up when the boys walked back in.

"They want to talk to Jess." Happy said and Jessica's eyes widened.

"Why me?" Jessica didn't want to talk to them. She especially didn't want to talk to Felipe, let alone face him.

"I'll go with her." Tig stood up with the help of his crutches, pulling Jessica with him. Tig wasn't going to let anything happen to her. They walked out of the clubhouse and down to the front gate. Jessica helped Tig on his crutches, a few boys trailing behind them just in case. They opened the gate and Jessica came face-to-face with Felipe

"Hello Jessica." Felipe grinned, looking her up and down. "Looking good." Jessica could physically feel Tig tense up next to her. Jessica reached down and took Tig's hand, assuring him that it was alright.

"What are you doing here?" She asked Felipe, eyeing the Mayans next to him.

"I wanted to see you, mi amor." Felipe said in his sweet Mexican accent.

"Don't..." Jess squeezed Tig's hand. "Don't call me that." She whispered, taking a step closer to Tig. Felipe's eyes flickered over to Tig.

"Who is this gringo?" Felipe spat and Tig growled, moving to reach for is gun, but Jessica stopped him.

"This /gringo/ is my boyfriend." Jessica glared at him. "Tell me why you're here."

"I'm here to take back what's mine." Felipe said simply, standing up tall.

"Excuse me? You lost that right when you just disappeared." Jess was still hurt by that, but she was pissed at him for showing up like this and expecting everything to be normal. The more she looked at Felipe, the more she realized that he wasn't who she thought he was.

"Why don't you just leave." Tig seethed through clenched teeth. Felipe looked at him and grinned sickly.

"That's not happening Esse. I'm taking Jessica with me." Jessica was very tempted to just let Tig shoot his ass, but that would just cause more problems. Jessica looked at Felipe with pleading eyes.

"Please just go, Lipe." She used his nickname, pretending that she actually cared. Felipe looked at her and ran his tongue over the front of his teeth.

"No, Jessica. You're coming with me." He pressed. "Leaving you was a stupid move." Felipe told her and she fought so hard not to roll her eyes.

"It was. But you should have thought before you did leave." Jessica could tell that Tig was getting impatient with the situation, so Jessica needed to hurry this along.

"Just come with me, baby. I can get you away from these people." Felipe knew she was associated with the Sons, but he didn't know that she was basically born into the club.

"Just go, Felipe. I'm not going with you." Jessica wasn't playing around anymore. "Leave." Felipe scoffed and reached out to take her arm, gripping it hard. Jessica looked down at his hand and started to laugh. "You just made a huge mistake." She laughed.

Within a matter of seconds, six members of the Sons pulled out their guns, all aimed at Felipe. The Mayans were outnumbered by half. Jessica looked at Felipe, pulling her arm free.

"I think this is a good time to leave." She growled and reached into the back of her jeans, pulling out the gun Happy gave to her when they were younger. She raise the gun and extended her arm, pressing the muzzle against his forehead. "I'm not afraid to shoot you, Felipe." The Mayans behind Felipe went to reach for their guns and Kozik growled from behind Jessica.

"Don't. Fucking. Move." Kozik growled and stepped closer to them. The Mayans froze and took their hands off of their guns. Except Felipe. He pulled his gun out and raised it quickly. A gunshot rang out through the garage and a body hit the floor.

Please review! They really keep me going :3
