"I'm glad that you're feeling better," Laxus said, smiling at his sister. It had been a week since Lucy spent the night with Gray, and she wasn't worried anymore. Juvia was still being clingy, but she didn't let it bother her.
"Thanks," Lucy said. He slid a plate of eggs in front of her. She loved starting her Saturday mornings eating eggs. She happily ate a bite, looking around the kitchen.
"I'm going to go sweep the living room, okay?" he asked. Layla was gone for the weekend, and she left chores for her kids to do. He was in charge of cleaning upstairs, while Lucy cleaned te dojo.
Lucy hummed to herself while she ate. She couldn't believe that in just a few short months, she settled down so easily. She went two whole years without living in a home, being a free spirit. Yet, she was so comfortable living with a family again. She never dreamed that she would have a brother waiting for her, either.
She heard the sweeper turn off. She found it odd, since it usually took longer than that to sweap. She walked over and leaned into the doorway. She saw Mira in the living room, standing beside Laxus.
"What's up?" Laxus asked. It wasn't like Mira to just drop by. Okay, it was. It wasn't like her to drop by with such a worried look, though.
"I saw something I shouldn't have," she said quietly, looking down to the floor.
"What do you mean?" he asked. She didnt answer. He lifted her chin up to meet his gaze.
"I-I walked past McDonald's," she started. Lucy wasn't sure where the conversation was going. "And I saw-" She stopped talking.
"What did you see?" he asked worriedly.
"It's going to break Lucy's heart," she said quietly, but loud enough for the blonde to hear. She wiped a tear from her eye. "Juvia and Gray were kissing."
"What?!" Lucy gasped. The two seniors looked over in shock. They didn't realize she was listening.
"Lucy," Mira croaked out. She felt awful. She wouldn't have said anything if she knew Lucy was standing there.
"No, I'm fine," Lucy said, wiping tears off of her face. She started sobbing quietly. Laxus stepped foward and hugged her, but she pushed him away. She ran off to her room, slamming the door shut.

"I can't believe how slow this place is," Juvia said, swinging her legs. She was sitting on the counter, just like Lucy usually did. She sipped her vanilla milkshake, which she purchased herself.
"It's busier at dinner," Gray laughed. He remembered having the same coversation with Lucy. He wasn't fazed at all by Juvia's closeness. He always had people sitting on the counters. Often times Lisanna and Mira would stop by, both sitting on the counter. Even Jellal would. It wasn't new to him.
"You know, Japan was really beautiful," Juvia said. She was looking directly into Gray's eyes. "I really wish you coul have been there to see it with me."
"That would have been fun," he laughed. He always wanted to leave Magnolia. That's one of the reasons he admired Lucy. She just left in her own to travel the world. He sometimes wished he could be so carefree.
"You would have had fun," Juvia said. She smiled as looked at her lap, remembering the day she left for Japan.
"How long are you going to be gone?" Gray asked.
"Whenever we finish," Juvia giggled. "They think it will be a few months."
It was a beautiful August evening. Since school started, they haven't been hanging out outside of school much. Before she left, they decided to hang at the park for a few hours. They were currently sitting on the swings
"Gray?" she asked, looking over to him. He looked over to her, not giving her a verbal response. She stood up an knelt in front of him. "You know that I never stopped loving you, right?"
"Juvia," he whispered. He took a deep breath. "You don't know what you're saying. We only dated a few months, and that was two years ago. How could you still love me?"
Instead of replying, she reached up and grabbed his face, smashing her lips against his. He stiffened at first, but eventually gave in. He wrapped his arms around her waist, which caused her to move her arms to his neck.
After a minute, they separated. He rested his forehead on her's. "Juvia, I don't love you anymore," he said.
"Gray, I-"
"But maybe when you come back, I can learn to love you again. For real this time."
She smiled happily and kissed him again.
"Hey," Gray said, interupting her thoughts. "What are you thinking about?" She was smiling like a fool while spacing out.
"Gray," she said faintly. He raised an eyebrow, waiting for an explanation. He got one, alright.
Juvia wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. He flinched. It took him a moment to process what was happening. When he did, he put his hands on her waist and tried to push her away. She was almost as strong as him, so it took him a few seconds.
"Juvia, I can't-" His speech was interrupted by the sound of a gasp and running feet. He looked up just in time to see long white hair running away.
"Shit," he cursed. He swiftly hopped the counter and ran for the door.
"Gray," Juvia said worriedly.
"Loke, I'm going in break!" he called. The orange haired man came out of the back room just in time to see Juvia run after Gray.

Gray put his hands to his knees, panting heavily. He literally searched all over town for Mira, and couldn't find her. When he went to her house, Lisanna said she left for town. When he asked Erza, she said she just saw her go home. In the end, he decided to check on Lucy first, just in case Mira stopped to tell her.
When he entered the upper portion of the dojo, he found the place to be empty. He found a note from Laxus on the table, telling Lucy he was going out. Finding her nowhere else, he went to her bedroom.
He slowly opened her door. He saw her laying in her bed, her golden hair fanned out around her. As he got closer, he saw her puffy eyes. His suspicious were confirmed. It had been a few hours since he left McDonald's, so that left plenty of time to cry herself to sleep.
"Lucy," he said gently, sitting on the bed beside her. She stirred slightly. "Lucy," he said a little louder. She mumbled something and rolled, her face resting in his lap. He smiled and brushed her hair with his fingers.
She mumbled something and stirred a little more. She lifted her head up and rubbed her eyes with the back if her hand. "Gray?" she asked groggily. She smiled up at him, realizing it was just a dream. If it really happened, he wouldn't be with her.
"Hey," he said. He was surprised that she wasn't upset. Maybe her eyes were just red from rubbing against her pillow, he thought.
"You're all sweaty," she said, reaching out to touch his face. She giggled and brought her hand back.
"What?" he asked in a teasing voice. Lucy was acting like a little kid, and it was absolutely adorable
"You look pretty sexy all sweaty," she said, hugging his waist.
Okay, not like a little kid.
"Lucy?" he asked. He wasn't sure if she was feeling alright. She lifted herself up and out her hands to his shoulders, pushing him down she straddled his waist and pressed her forehead to his, giggling again. "Are you alright? You're acting strange."
She ignored his rant and kissed him sweetly on the nose. He started to wonder if she was drunk or something. She traced her finger across his jaw, then up to his lips. She started giggling, once again. She cupped his face in her hands and pressed her lips to his.
He wasn't exactly sure what was wrong with her, but he decided not to let it bother him. He kissed her back, enjoying the feeling. She moved he hands to his hair, feeling his soft, yet sweaty, locks. He put his hands around her waist, but quickly pulled them away. He gently pushed her away and blushed at least two hundred different shades of red.
Lucy was only in her underwear. He didnt notice it before, since she covered herself with a blanket. Now that he knew she wasn't wearing clothes, he had a hard time looking at her face. She giggled and hugged his head, pressing his face to her chest. He didn't know it was possible, but he blushed more.
"What's wrong?" she whispered into his ear. "Haven't you ever seen a woman in underwear before?"
He had before. You know, accidentally walking in on Ultear when she was changing. He's seen girls in bikinis many times before, which was practically the same thing, but this was different. This was Lucy, an it wasn't a swimsuit or an accident.
"Don't be so awkward about it," Lucy said, letting Gray go. She sat up and looked down at his flustered face.
Not wanting his pride to be hurt, he smirked. "I'm not being awkward," he said. He pulled her back down and kissed her again. His mind was telling him to stop, but they were both turned on. His mind proved to be right, though.
"Lucy, I was wondering if-" Ultear swung open the door. "-you've seen Gray," she finished.
Gray imedietally sat up. Lucy looked behind her, still in Gray's lap. All three of them were blushing, staring with wide eyes. Ultear was pretty shocked, to say the least. Gray's work uniform shirt was unbuttoned, his hair messed up more than usual, which added to te fact that Lucy wasn't wearing decent clothing.
Ultear finally let out the scream that was locked inside her. She buryied her face in her hands and blushed harder.
Just because the universe loves Gray so much, Ur and Lyon came running into the room. They were all out at the store when they stopped by McDonald's. He wasn't there, so they went looking for him. Ur and Lyon were waiting in the car, but they came running when they heard screaming.
Lyon was the first to say something. He started laughing. "Didn't know you had it in you," he laughed. His brother wasn't a goody-goody after all. He did drink before, but he was tricked.
"What's going on?" Wendy asked, squeezing her way into the room. Gray imedietally threw a blanket over Lucy. Ur and Ultear moved in front of Wendy.
"I'm home!" they all heard Laxus yell.
"Damn," Lucy mumbled, falling face first on the bed. Gray sighed and flipped the blanket over her back, managing to cover her butt.
"So, uh, just come home when your done," Ultear said awkwardly, putting a hand to her neck. Gray threw a pillow at her. "What?" she laughed. He ran up with another pillow and started hitting her.
Within a minute, a full pillow war started.
I decided to add a little more fluff in this chapter. Like it? Hate it?
