"G-Gray?"

Gray imedietally pushed Lucy away. He looked at Juvia with wide eyes. It looked like she was about to cry. Lucy looked between the two, wondering what was happening.

"Juvia, I can explain," Gray said. Lucy felt a pang in her chest. He would only have to explain if something was going on between them.

"Can you explain Lucy cheating on Ciel?" Juvia asked, crossing her arms.

"What?!" Gray and Lucy yelled at once.

"You're dating Ciel?!" Gray asked loudly, turning to Lucy.

"Of course not!" Lucy defended herself.

"Where did Juvia get the idea from, huh? She didn't pull it out of the air!"

"That's the only explanation!"

"How could you even accuse her of that? She's my friend!"

"You trust a friend over your girlfriend?"

"I've known her long enough to know she doesn't make stuff up!"

Juvia watched fight back and forth. She sort of wished she didn't open her mouth. Although, if they were to break up from that, Gray would already be on her side. She may be able to get him to love her again.

"What's going on?" Layla asked worriedly. Gray and Lucy didn't even know she spoke. They were too busy fighting.

"Who's to say you wouldn't?"

"It's been two years!"

"You still seem pretty close to me!"

"It's my fault," Juvia said, looking to the floor. She figured if she put on a good show for Layla, she may be on her side, too.

"What happened?" Layla asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. She led her to the other side of the dojo.

"I assumed Lucy was dating Ciel, and I brought it up," she said. She let out a fake sob and wiped fake tears. "I didn't mean for them to start fighting."

"It's alright," Layla said soothingly, hugging the crying girl. "Ciel is a sore topic. It's not your fault." She looked over to Gray and Lucy. She was crying slightly, while he looked straight pissed.

Ding!

Lisanna, Mira, Levy, and Erza came in the dojo. They were going out for ice cream, and wanted Lucy to come along. They were more than surprised to see Gray and Lucy yelling at each other.

"What's going on?" Levy asked, walking over to Layla. The other girls followed, not taking their eyes off the two fighting teens.

"Juvia saw them kissing and asked about Lucy cheating on Ciel," Layla explained. "It was an honest mistake."

"Why aren't you stopping them?" Erza asked. She wanted to go punch Gray for making Lucy cry.

"They need to get it out of their system," Mira explained for Layla. "It's makes sense. There is so much tension when it comes to Ciel."

"What do you even have against her?!"

"She says she still loves you, so why wouldn't she make something up?!"

"It looks like there's some tension with me, too," Juvia sighed.

"Why don't we leave them to work this out," Layla suggested. "I'll buy you girls dinner. I'm starving!"

"I'll go get Laxus," Mira said. She quickly ran upstairs and got the boy.

Ding!

"I can't believe you're arguing about this!" Lucy yelled, throwing her hands in the air. She stomped her way over to the stairs.

"You're fighting about this just as much as me!" Gray walked after her.

"I'm not the one accusing me of dating my ex!" She threw the door to the apartment open.

"But you're the one who is all over him!" He walked into her room after her.

"Why are you so damn jealous?!" She turned around to face him, her arms crossed.

"Why wouldn't I be?!"

"I'm not jealous of your exes!"

"At least I didn't have sex with them!"

"Is that what this is about?" Lucy asked with a normal tone. Gray blushed and looked away. "You're really worried about that?"

"A little," he mumbled. She smiled and hugged his waist. He stiffened, but relaxed after a minute. She started giggling. "What's so funny?"

"You," she laughed.

"Why am I funny?" he asked, letting out a laugh himself.

She wrapped her arms around his me neck and kissed his cheak. "You could have just asked." She rested her cheek against his shoulder.

After a moment, he realized what she meant. His face turned beat red.

"You know, Mom and Laxus went out to eat," she said. "They won't be back for a couple hours."

"I, uh, umh, Lucy, eh, you, huh-" he stuttered like an idiot. He couldn't seem to form a sentence.

"It's okay," she said. She grabbed his shirt and pulled him into a kiss.

"Are you guys okay now?" Erza asked at lunch the next day.

"Yeah, you aren't killing each other, but you still seem uncomfortable," Lisann pointed out.

Gray awkwardly cleared his throat. "Yeah, uh, we're fine," he quickly said. Lucy rolled her eyes. He made it so awkward.

"Hmm, you sure?" Levy asked.

"Oh they're alright," Loke said. Everyone looked at him in confusion. "What? Can't you guys tell?"

"What are you talking about?" Laxus sighed. "You know we don't speak Loke."

"You can just see it in their eyes," Loke said. Gray's eyes went wide. "They totally got laid last night."

"What?!" everyone shrieked. Yes, even the males shrieked.

"When did that happen?!" Laxus asked. He seemed to be the most disturbed.

"When did what happen?" Layla asked. Gray went pale.

"Oh, last night-"

"I have a question on a kick!" Gray quickly blurted out, interrupting Loke. He grabbed Layla's arm and ran to the gym.

The whole table started laughing.

Lucy sighed in content and snuggled closer to Gray. She was happy to spend her Friday night at Gray's house.

"You don't need to be so nervous," she said, noticing how tense he was.

"Sorry," he said, wrapping his arms around her. It was a little awkward laying with her, especially of images of the other night in his head.

"Are we done being jealous?" Lucy asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean. We only ever fought twice, and that was because we were jealous. I just want to be done fighting. It is just stupid."

"No more being jealous," he said. She smiled and kissed his chin. He kissed her nose in return. She pulled his head down and kissed his lips. He eagerly kissed her back.

Lucy moaned into the kiss and tugged at Gray's shirt. He broke the kiss just long enough to remove the unwanted clothing. She put her hands to his abs and kissed him again. He started unbuttoning her shirt.

"Gray?"

The two jumped and looked towards his door, which they didn't lock. Wendy was standing there, rubbing her closed eyes with both of her small hands. Lucy quickly covered herself with a blanket and pretended to be asleep.

"What is it?" Gray asked, acting like he woke him up.

"I can't sleep," she said. "Can I sleep with you?"

"Uh, Lucy's sick," he quickly said.

"But you're sleeping with her," she said. He cursed her common sense.

"I guess that's alright," he said, nudging Lucy. She quickly buttoned her top back up. Wendy smiled and crawled onto the bed. She happily lay between the two, falling asleep instantly.

"I hate you," Lucy mumbled.

"You know you love her," Gray said. He quickly kissed her on the lips before laying laying back down.

"I know," she sighed in defeat.

So no more fighting. I added lots of fluff in this like the chapter before. Or was it the chapter before that? Either way, I put it in there. So I'm not quite sure, but should I change the rating to M? I will never write 'more' than I do now, so I'm just not sure.

AND I'M WRITING CHAPTER 38 NOW! I'm so excited! I'm really glad that I haven't stopped the story yet. I love how I just started the story, only knowing that Lucy was going to be a badass, and Layla was going to own a martial arts school. Boy has this grown.
