"Achoo!" Lucy sneezed loudly, her body jumping in the air. She blew her nose and threw the tissue away. She groaned and laid back down on her bed.

"Hello~!" Lisannsa sang, opening the blonde's bedroom door. Erza and Levy were behind her. Mira came, but she ended up with Laxus in the living room.

"What are you guys-" Lucy was cut off by her own sneeze. "-doing here?"

"Layla told us you were sick," Levy said, sitting down on her bed. Lisanna joined her, while Erza grabbed the garbage can and threw away all the tissues that didn't quite make it there. "We figured you wouldn't want to spend your Sunday alone."

"I figured Gray would be here," Lisanna said, looking around the room as if he was hiding somewhere.

"He's sick too," Lucy said, followed by a sneeze.

"You're both sick?" Erza asked. "You guys were fine on Friday. How did you both manage to get sick in a day?"

"Well..." the blonde said, letting her voice trail off.

"Did something happen?" Lisanna asked in a teasing voice, wiggling her eyebrows. Levy and Erza laughed.

"Sort of," Lucy said, scratching the back of her head. She sneezed again.

"Tell us!" the girls yelled at once, making Lucy wince at the noise.

"Okay, okay, calm down," the blonde laughed. "So last night Gray and I went to dinner. Afterwords-"

"Wait!" Mira yelled, bursting into the room. "I hear a cute story~! I want to hear about the dinner!"

"Ugh!" Lucy groaned. "Okay, so we went to that fancy restaurant downtown."

"Do you mean the one that only uses candles for lighting?" Erza asked. When Lucy nodded, the two Strauss sisters squealed in delight. Levy demanded to know what she wore.

"I just wore a skirt and nice shirt with heals," Lucy responded. "Anyways! Back to the story. So the inside was full, so we got to sit outside in the garden. A lot of people thought it was too cold, so they wanted to sit inside. So they had this band playing. I think it was a violin, flute, and saxophone. It was really pretty." She stopped talking and blushed.

"What happened?" Levy asked suspiciously.

"Okay, so after we were done eating we just sat at one of the benches. And these old people saw us kissing and yelled at us," Lucy said quickly, her face becoming more red.

"What's wrong with that?" Lisanna asked. "That doesn't sound that bad."

"No, you don't understand," Lucy tried to reason. "They said people like us are the reason people get pregnant at a young age." The five of them started laughing. Well, Lucy would laugh in between sneezes. They all laughed until Lucy fell asleep.

"We should go," Levy whispered. They all just smiled and nodded.

"What kind of mother are you?" Lucy asked, followed by a sneeze. She groaned an stepped out of the car.

"One that doesn't want to leave her sick daughter at home," Layla countered. She waved and sped out of the driveway. Lucy rolled her eyes and entered the house, not bothering to knock. Since it was Monday, Lucy was sent to Gray's house, since Laxus and Layla both had to go to school. Gray was still a little sick, so he stayed home, too.

"Lucy?" Ur asked, exiting the bathroom. The blonde wrapped the blanket she had with her around herself tighter and nodded. Ur gave a sad smile and fished an earring through her ear. "Gray is up in his room. Lyon already left for work, and I'm leaving in a few minutes. Ultear stayed home to take care of Gray."

Lucy sneezed as a reply. The sneeze made her head throb. "I'm going to lay down," she said. She walked past Ur and went to Gray's room. He was sound asleep on the bed. She flopped down beside him, sighing in relief when the cool pillow hit her head. She threw her blanket on the floor and snuggled into his.

Two hours later, Ultear woke both of them up. She was in full nurse mode. She stuck thermometers in both of their mouths. She gave Lucy medicine and made her go back to sleep. She wasn't so kind to Gray. She made him get up and follow her downstairs to the kitchen. He made himself comfortable in one of the chairs.

"You aren't even sick," Ultear said, sliding a cup of hot tea to Gray. He smiled and took a sip. "You just stayed home because Lucy would be coming over, didn't you?"

"Maybe," he smirked. He was a little sick, but not enough to have to miss school.

"Honestly, what am I going to do with you?" Ultear sighed.

"You could make me breakfast," he suggested. She shot him a glare. "Come on! You make the best waffles ever!" She rolled her eyes and walked to over to the freezer, pulling out a box of waffles. She popped three in the toaster. "Seriously, you know just how long to cook them," he laughed.

"You're such an idiot," she said. She grabbed a plate and the bottle of syrup. She threw the waffles on the plate and drizzled some syrup on them. She stabbed them with a fork and slid the plate to him.

"How didn't Wendy get sick?" he asked, picking up his fork. "She's always up my ass, even when I'm sick."

"She has two older brothers. She is exposed to every disease out there," Ultear laughed.

"Hey, I don't have AIDS," Gray defended himself.

"Unless Lucy does," she said flatly. She started laughing.

"Lucy doesn't have any diseases!" he yelled over his sister's laughter.

"How can you say that when she can't finish a sentence without sneezing?" she asked.

"I never said she wasn't stupid," he said. He took another bite of his food. "She swam in a pond in her underwear and managed to get me to. She's so stupid it's contagious!"

"Don't give her all the credit. You're pretty stupid," she laughed.

"Whose side are you on?!"

It felt good to laugh with each other and joke around. It seemed like lately, they never got to hang out. Gray spends most of his free time with Lucy, so he doesn't have much time to hang out with his siblings.

If someone would have told him that would all change within a year, he would have called them crazy.

Thank you to everyone who answered my poll, but I will not be using that as the next story, for two reasons. I came up with a new story idea and just fell in love with it. And three of the choices on the poll were pretty close, so I want to wait for it to become a more obvious choice.
