This is a mini-chapter, so it's short.
"Everyone please go to your respective testing teacher," Layla said. The large group of students split up.
One by one, everyone tested. They all did their kicks, blocks, punches, and terminology.
"Lucy, Jade, and Scarlet," Juvia said. The three white belts walked up. The all bowed to Juvia. Lucy was feeling confident.
First, the did their forms. Lucy was a very confident. She went fast enough to impress, but slow enough to do it correctly. Every block was firm, and every stance was straight and tall. Next, they did their blocks and kicks. Once again, Lucy was confident. Her kicks could have been higher, but they were quite high for a white belt. For the terminology, Lucy got every word. She was very proud of herself.
"Alright, everyone please come get your papers," Juvia said. The papers would tell them rehear grade.
Lucy happily got her paper. She failed to notice Juvia's smirk. She looked at the letter in the bottom corner. F. Not P, F. She failed. She looked to each individual grade. She failed each section. She felt her insides boil. She wears positive she got a biased results.
"Please take your papers to Master Layla," Juvia said with a fake smile directed to Lucy.
As she looked around, Lucy saw that everyone in the room passed their tests. She was the only one who failed. She crumbled her paper and threw it away. She ran up to her room, trying not to cry.

Gray smiled as he handed the results to each student. They all passed, which he was happy about. He away hoping Lucy passed. He saw her practicing with Layla, and she was doing amazing. He was sure she passed. He saw her walking towards the garbage can. She threw a paper in and ran upstairs. Since everyone already tested, he went over to the trash can. He read the paper and saw that she failed. He was running upstairs before he could process what he was doing.
He opened the door to Lucy's room and saw her laying on her stomach, crying into a pillow. He closed the door and walked over.
"Lucy?" he asked, sitting down. She sat up and wiped her eyes.
"Hi, Gray," she said, her voice cracking. She but her lip, trying not stop more tears.
"Why are you crying?" he asked, wiping her tears away. He understood that she failed, but he didn't understand why she was crying. She was only serious about the class a few weeks before, so she was new.
Thinking about why she was crying made her cry more. A few sobs escaped her lips. He pulled her to him. She wrapped her arms around his waist and sobbed harder. She just hated what Juvia did. It was totally uncalled for.
After a few minutes, she stopped crying. "Are you okay now?" he asked. She nodded against his chest. He didn't quite believe her, so he kept her in his grasp. "Why were you crying?"
"Juvia failed me," she said softly.
"It's okay," he said, rubbing her back. "You aren't going to pass every test."
"But I should have. Mom even said I was aging to pass. Juvia failed me on purpose."
"I'm sorry," he apologized. "Ill talk to Layla."
"Don't."
Gray blinked. "What?" he asked.
"Don't worry about it," she said, breaking the hug.
"And why not?" he asked with a smirk.
"I wont pass every test, right?" She returned his smirk.
I just want to let you guys know that I love you all so much. Your reviews mean so much to me! I hardly ever have a good day; they're usually pretty bad.
