"I can't believe my baby graduated!" Layla wailed, hugging Laxus. "You grew up too fast!"

"Mom," Laxus whined, trying, and failing, to push his mother away.

"Mom, you've been crying for a week," Lucy sweat-dropped.

Layla suddenly let Laxus go. She latched onto Lucy. "And my other baby is going on vacation with her boyfriend! You're leaving me, too!"

School ended a week before. Laxus officiously graduated. Lucy would be a senior next year. She was going on vacation with Gray's family for the summer. The Fullbuster's owned a large beach house, where their summer would be held.

"Is Layla crying again?" Gray asked, entering the apartment. He almost laughed at Lucy's face.

"Mom, let me go!" Lucy yelled. "Gray's here!" She managed to push her mother away. Finally free, she went to her room to get her bags. Layla was quick to follow.

"You better not lose her," Laxus said, moving in front of Gray. "If she comes home with one scratch, you're dead."

"G-got it," Gray stuttered. He may be a second degree black belt, but Laxus will always be scary.

"Oh, and I have something for you," Laxus said, reaching in his pocket. Her pulled out a small plastic bag and handed it to Gray. "Just in case you get lucky," he said with a smirk. Gray blushed and took the bag.

"Let's go!" Lucy yelled, running into the room. She was dragging a suitcase behind her and holding a backpack on her shoulders. She grabbed Gray's hand and ran downstairs before Layla caught up.

"Ready for a long ride?" Gray asked, opening the trunk of his car. He set Lucy's bags inside and moved to the front seat.

"Thirteen hours of heaven on wheels. I think I'll manage," Lucy sad, buckling up. She just lived his green Lamborghini Aventator.

"We'll see what you say afterwords," he said with a smirk.

"You guys are finally here," Lyon said, walking over to the car that just pulled in.

"We got caught in construction," Gray said, turning his car off. He looked over to Lucy. She was curled up in a ball, fast asleep. He scooped her up in his arms and got out of the car.

"I got your stuff," Lyon said, opening the trunk. He grabbed the bags and followed Gray inside.

The beach house was a four story building with elevators. The first floor had a large family area with a pool, air hockey, and Foosball table. Three couches were positioned around a large coffee table, facing a flatscreen TV. A mini kitchen was in one corner, a bathroom in the other. Outside the glass doors was the hot tub, swimming pool, and outdoor shower. Through the gate is the beach.

The second floor has five bedrooms, all with master bathrooms. The third floor had two more bedrooms, the main kitchen, and a living room area. The fourth floor was Gray's favorite. It had one bedroom, which he claimed as his. The rest of the floor was practically a game room. There were two more TVs, a bunch of different gaming systems, and all the video games a teenage boy could ask for. That wasn't his favorite part of the floor, though. There was a balcony with the perfect view of the ocean and the sky at night. He, of course, had a telescope there to look out at the ocean. There was actually another hot tub, too.

Gray took Lucy up to his room. He laid her on the bed and kissed her forehead. Then he grabbed their bags and started unpacking. Since they would be there the whole summer, they had dressers in the rooms. It would be a pain to grab everything from your bags every day.

He unpacked his stuff first. About halfway through unpacking Lucy's, said blonde woke up. She looked around, wondering where she was. Then she saw Gray unpacking her stuff. She sat up.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"I'm unpacking, duh," he said matter-of-factly.

"You don't have to," she said, blushing slightly. Gray was putting putting her underwear away at the moment. She was thoroughly embarrassed.

"But I'm already done," he said, throwing the bags in the closet. He jumped on he bed beside her. "You slept most of the car ride."

"That would explain why my neck is sore," she said, rubbing her neck. Gray sat up and moved her between his legs. He started rubbing her neck and shoulders. She sighed in relief and leaned into him. "I never knew you had a beach house."

"This is actually where Dad grew up," he explained. "After Dad married Mom, they moved to Magnolia. They just kept the house. You see, my grandparents used to own an orphanage of sorts. That's why there are so many rooms."

"Are they still alive?" she asked. "Sorry, that was rude of me to ask."

"It's fine," he laughed. "They are. They are going to stay here, too."

"Really?" Lucy spun around to face Gray, a smile on her face. She loved old people. When she lived with Ciel, she got to meet his grandmother. She was so old and adorable, always hitting Ciel with a broom.

"Most of my family will end up here for part of the summer," Gray said, awkwardly scratching the back of his head.

"That will be fun," Lucy said, blushing. She was going to meet Gray's whole family. She was a bit nervous.

"Are you guys all unpacked?" came Ur's voice from the other side of the door. She opened the door and smiled, seeing they were done. "Mom just called and said they were almost here, so I figured we could go to the beach until they get here. Then we'll all eat together. How does that sound?"

"We'll be down," Gray said. Ur smiled and left the room. He stood up and stretched his arms. He walked over to one of the dressers and pulled out a pair of black swimming trunks, and one of Lucy's bikinis, which happened to be red with white stripes.

"Thanks," Lucy said, taking the clothing. She went into the bathroom to change. She found the little box of piercings she brought with her on the counter. She dug through them and pulled out a red tongue ring and a silver hoop for her belly button. She always liked matching her rings with her clothing. She threw one of Gray's black shirts over herself. When she exited the bathroom, Gray was waiting on the bed.

"Okay, let's go," he said, jumping up. He led her downstairs, taking the stairs, giving her a mini tour along the way. She was very impressed by the house. Everything looked so nice. She found it hard to believe that Gray's father grew up in the house. She was even more surprised when they got to the beach. They were the only house for as far as the eyes could see.

"Lucy!" Wendy cheered, running up and hugging the blonde.

"Hey, Wendy. You looked cute," Lucy said, hugging Wendy back. The little girl was wearing a purple swimsuit with yellow hearts. The top was a normal bikini top while the bottom was a skirt.

"Lyon!"

The three looked up and saw Ultear sitting in the water, puffing her cheeks out at Lyon. He was doubling over with laughter.

"You fall for that every time!" he laughed. You see, Lyon called Ultear over. He then said she had something in her hair. When she gets close, he pushes her into the water. She even fell for the trick when they were kids.

"You guys behave!" Ur scolded them. Lucy looked at her and was a bit shocked. She looked way to young to be in her forties. She was wearing a bright yellow bikini, showing off her perfect figure.

"Come on, Luce," Gray said, grabbing her hand, who grabbed Wendy's. They all ran towards the water, laughing.

Ur smiled as she watched her kids. Ultear and Lyon were standing in the deaper part of the took turns holding Wendy and diving for sea shells. This particular beach was so special because the water was fresh and crystal clear. There was always this story that her late husband, Kyle, used to tell her. It basically said that mermaids used to live in the water. They all worked hard to get rid of the salt in the water. Pleased with their ambition, the magical king of the mermaids granted their wishes by clearing the waters of all salt, making it crystal clear.

"Honey!"

Ur smiled and turned around, seeing her mother and father step out of their car. They quickly walked towards her and hugged her. She smiled and hugged them back.

"It's been too long," her father, Shawn, said.

"I couldn't wait to see the kids again. I haven't seen them since the were little! Gray was still in diapers," Ur's mother, Regina, said.

"Mom," Ur laughed. "You saw him at Kyle's funeral."

"Yes, yes, how could I forget?" Regina asked, smiling. She looked out at the waters. Ultear, Lyon, and Wendy saw them and ran over.

"Grandma!" Wendy yelled, hugging the old woman.

"You guys have grown so much," Regina said. "Ultear, you a turned into a beautiful woman. Lyon, handsome as always. And Wendy, oh my, you truly were in diapers!"

"You're pretty, too!" Wendy blurted out, returning the compliments.

"Too sweet," Regina said, pulling her cheeks.

"Why don't you guys help Grandpa with the bags?" Shawn asked. Wendy ran up and hugged him. He smiled and grabbed her hand, walking to the car. Ultear and Lyon followed.

"Where is Gray?" Regina asked, sitting down at one of the chairs that was nearby. Ur said beside her.

"He's in the water," Ur said, nodding towards Gray and Lucy. Regina followed her gaze.

Gray was chasing Lucy, trying to splash her with water. She was laughing, trying to avoid the water that was a little cold, since it was almost nightfall. He managed to catch up to her. He picked her up by the waist. She pecked him on the lips before hugging his shoulders.

"He looks just like Kyle," Regina said in a daze. "Who is the blonde girl?"

"That's Lucy," Ur said. "Do you remember Layla Star, my friend?"

"The one that has that fighting class?" Regina asked, looking to her daughter.

"Yeah, thats her daughter," Ur said.

"Gray!" they heard Lucy squeal. They looked back and saw her sitting in the water, much like Ultear was earlier. She grabbed his hand and pulled him down next to her. He put an arm around her, saying something. She blushed and looked away.

"I think we should go get ready to eat," Regina suggested, glaring at Lucy. There was something about that girl she did not like.

I'm sorry I haven't updated lately! I have a whole list of reasons, actually. My birthday was last week and I had parties for that, finals and state tests are coming up, and I just didn't have time to write! So please forgive me! And until further notice, I will only be updating once a week!

And in other news...

I made a Facebook page! I'll give you guys updates, share cool pictures, and just interact with you guys on a whole new level. The link is on my profile or you can search my username and the page will come up. I know you guys liking it will kind of take the whole "anonymous" thing away from FanFiction, but let's be honest. I'm just a nerd with no life. I in no way know how to hack, nor do I have the desire to. I'm really no threat to you guys. Besides, I'm a (now) fifteen-year-old girl. What am I going to do?
