"You are so mean," Lucy pouted, putting Gray's shirt back on.

"How was that mean?" Gray asked with an amused smirk. Ur just told them to come inside. Apparently his grandparents were already there. "Complimenting you is not mean."

"Not that," she mumbled. "You threw me in the water."

"Aw, I'm sorry," he said, draping his arms over her shoulders as they walked. She sighed and opened up the gate.

"You are not sorry," she said. "You'll probably do it again tomorrow." She opened the door to the house. He spun her around the second she did.

"I won't do it again, okay?" he asked. She raised her eyebrow, not believing his statement one bit. He leaned down and kissed her.

Someone cleared their throat. Lucy blushed and pushed Gray away. She turned around and saw an old man standing there. He was about as tall as Gray, thin, and had shaggy white hair, along with a mustache.

"Its been a while, huh Gray?" the man asked.

"Hey, Gramps," Gray said, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. He was just caught kissing his girlfriend in front of the grandfather he hasn't seen for over five years. Speaking of his girlfriend, she had no clue who was standing in front of them. "Luce, this is Shawn Milkovich, my grandfather."

"I'm Lucy Heartfilia. It's nice to meet you," Lucy said with a smile.

"Of course," Shawn said. He's heard about the Heartfilia's. He wasn't too pleased that a member of that family was dating his grandson. "You guys should get ready."

"Right," Gray said. He put his hand on Lucy's lower back and led her to the stairs. After climbing three flights, they went back into their room. He threw on a pair of shorts and a plain shirt. She wore short jean shorts with a green studded belt. Her shirt was green and had a black, bleeding rose on it. The hem of the shirt ended above her belly button. She was very found of the shirt. And to surprise Wendy, she changed her belly button ring to the one she got for Christmas. After putting her hair in a messy bun, she was ready.

Everyone was sitting downstairs on the couches. The moment they entered the room, Wendy ran over and hugged Gray. She smiled at Lucy.

"Look, Wendy," Lucy said. She pointed to the 'bunny.' "I'm wearing your gift." Wendy smiled so wide Gray was sure her face would break.

"You have your belly button pierced," Regina said, giving a disapproving look. Lucy found the look a challenge. She stuck her tongue out. Regina let out a small gasp. "I wonder what else you could have pierced." Lucy blushed and crossed her arms over her chest, fully understanding what Regina meant.

"Shall we go?" Ur asked, breaking the awkward air. Lyon and Ultear quickly agreed.

"I like your belly button," Wendy assured. Lucy smiled. The girl was just too sweet.

"I love your tongue ring," Gray whispered in her ear. Lucy blushed and looked away. He laughed and grabbed her hand. "I'm just teasing you." Wendy grabbed Gray's other hand and walked with them to the car. They all rode in Ur's minivan, their destination a restaurant in town.

"I win!" Ultear exclaimed. She was playing Lyon at air hockey.

"You just got lucky," Lyon said, crossing his arms.

Gray sighed and looked over to the TV. Ur, Shawn, and Regina were watching some crime show. Wendy was fast asleep on Shawn's lap. He looked over to the clock. It was ten at night. Lucy said she was going to take a shower two hours ago.

"I'm going to go check on Lucy," he announced, getting off the couch. No one seemed to pay him any mind. He decided to take the elevator, since it was faster.

When he opened up the door to his room, he saw that Lucy wasn't in the room. The bathroom door was closed. He went over and knocked. He got no response. He opened the door anyways. The bathroom was very large. The sink was his and her's, a large space between them. The large bathtub was separate from the shower that could easily fit five people doing jumping jacks. He went over to the shower and saw that Lucy was sitting in the corner. Her knees were pulled up to her chest, her arms wrapped around them. He could faintly hear her crying. He assumed she did take a shower, then sat down and cried, since she still wasn't wearing any clothes. That and the water was on. He turned that off as soon as he saw it.

"Luce?" he asked, walking over. The only response he got was her hugging her knees tighter. He sat down beside her and put an arm around her. "What's wrong?" he asked. She hugged his waist and buried her face in his chest.

"Am I that awful?" she asked quietly.

His eyes widened. She was worried about Regina. All through dinner, she was sticking her nose in the air. She was judging Lucy on her clothing, attitude, and that she had her tongue and belly button pierced. Shawn was even agreeing to most of it.

"Luce, don't worry about her. She doesn't like people outside the family," Gray said, running his fingers threw her hair. His shirt was getting soaked from her hair, but he didn't really care. "When I was younger and she came over to visit, she would scold Mom for raising us the way she did. Apparently kids aren't suppose to play with mud because we get too dirty. We all just had a little mud fight. There isn't anything wrong with you. She's just a bitch."

Lucy couldn't help but laugh a little. She could imagine a little Gray, caked in mud, getting yelled at. Of course he would yell back. She would have payed to see that.

"What's so funny?" he asked, tucking her bangs behind her ear. He was glad she was feeling better.

"I can just imagine it, is all," she said, laughing a little more. Gray picked her up bridal-style and carried her back to the room. He laid her down on the bed and kissed her forehead.

"I'm going to go take a shower, then I'll probably go back downstairs, okay?" he asked. He turned around to walk away, but Lucy stopped him by grabbing his hand, pulling him back so he was sitting on the bed beside her.

"You know I love you, right?" she asked. He smiled and nodded. She pulled the covers over herself. "Will you stay until I fall asleep?" He laid down beside her. She smiled and closed her eyes. It only took minutes for her to fall asleep. He rubbed his thumb over her cheek. Her eyes would flutter every few seconds. He wished he could just watch her sleep forever. She just looked so peaceful and beautiful. But sadly, he couldn't. He got out of bed and stretched.

"I think I'll just go to bed," he said to no one in particular.
