"You better not be killing my niece," came a deep voice, the door opening.
Lucy looked to the door, her eyes wide. The man before her had raven hair. His eyes were dark and mysterious, just like Gray's. He looked a little taller than Gray. He looked just as muscular. But the only real noticeable difference was the scruff of hair on his chin. He looked like an older, slightly more attractive Gray. She blushed, wondering if that's what Gray would look like when he was older. She wouldn't mind at all if it was.
"How have you guys been?" the man asked. He flashed a wide, toothy grin. Lucy practically melted. She knew it was wrong, but she couldn't help it.
"Uncle Renji!" Wendy yelled. The man stepped forward just in time to catch Wendy, who jumped off the bed.
"Hey, Sugar, how've you been?" the man asked, kissing her forehead. She giggled and hugged him. "You've gotten so big."
"It's only been since last summer!" Wendy continued to laugh. She hopped down from his arms.
"Hey, Renji," Ultear said, hugging the man, who at this point, Lucy assumed was Renji.
"As beautiful as ever," Renji said, hugging her back. He kissed the top of her forehead, just like he did with Wendy. He looked over to Lucy. She blushed when their eyes met. He smirked at that.
"Renji!"
They all looked and saw Lyon and Gray running into the room. They both ran up and half hugged him.
"Hey Snowflake, Mini-Me," Renji said, ruffling their hair. Lucy laughed at the nicknames, which were very fitting, especially Gray's.
"Where's Gin?" Lyon asked.
"He's out in the car," Renji laughed. Lyon quickly ran out of the room.
"He always loved seeing Gin," Ultear laughed.
Renji nodded and looked back at Lucy. She blushed again. "So who's your hot friend?" he asked, smirking. She blushed harder.
"Damn Pervert," Gray said, smacking his head. Renji laughed and rubbed his head. "You better not try anything on her."
"You ruin all my fun," Renji said, sticking out his tongue.
Gray just sighed. "Renji, this is Lucy Heartfilia, my girlfriend. Luce, this is Renji Fullbuster, my uncle."
"But he looks more like-" she stopped talking, not wanting to mention his dad.
"His dad, I know," Renji finished. "I'm, well, was, Kyle's twin."
"Gin!" Wendy suddenly called out. They all looked and saw Lyon and Gin standing in the doorway. Gin was leaning against the frame, smirking. Lucy could have fainted. The only difference between him and Gray were their eyes. Gin had beautiful golden eyes. With three Gray's, she was sure to die by the end of the summer. She just hoped there weren't more of them.
"Come on, don't leave me hanging," Gin said, holding his arms out. Wendy giggled and hugged him.
"We were all going to the beach," Ultear announced. "Why don't you guys come?"
"Go play or unpack?" Renji asked Gin. They all started laughing, the answer obvious.

"Luce, what's wrong?" Gray asked. She was just standing in front of the dresser. They were suppose to be getting ready, but it didn't seem like she was planning on it.
"I feel weird about this," she admitted.
"About what?" He was really confused. They were going to the beach. What was weird about that?
"I feel like in meeting your dad." She nervously bit her lip. Gray didn't see her, but he knew she was.
"Don't worry about that pervert," he laughed.
"Okay," she sighed. She grabbed a plain black bikini. When she turned around to go change in the bathroom, she shrieked. "Gray! Don't change in front of me!"
"Whats the big deal?" he asked, pulling his trunks on. "It's not like you haven't-"
"Don't say it!" she blurted out. She brushed past him and went to change. She changed her belly button ring to a blue bar. She braided her hair to the side and followed Gray out of the room.
Ultear, Wendy, Lyon, Renji, and Gin were already on the beach. Ultear was putting sunscreen on Wendy, and the other three were talking.
"Ultear?" Lucy asked.
"Hmm?" Ultear hummed.
"Chase called me. He wants you to call him when you get the chance," Lucy said. Ultear's face lit up. She completely stopped what she was doing and ran inside.
"Chase didn't call," Gray laughed. Lucy smiled and shrugged. She helped Wendy finish putting sunscreen on. She looked up and saw all the guys splashing around in the water. They seemed pretty fond of Kyle's family.
"Do you need help, too?" Wendy asked.
"Go ahead and play," Lucy said, ruffling Wendy's hair. The little girl smiled and ran off. Lucy smiled and started putting her own sunscreen on. She put it on her legs, then her arms. When she reached for the bottle again to put it on her stomach, she found the bottle gone.
"Looking for this?" Gray asked, waving it in the air.
"Yes, now give it back," she said. He held it above her head. She tried jumping for it, but failed miserably. "Gray, give it back," she whined, crossing her arms. He finally brought it bad to her height, but didn't give it back. He just squirted some on his hands.
"You can't get your back anyways, right?" he asked. She rolled her eyes and turned around. He rubbed it all over her back, then all over her stomach.
"Thanks," she said. She went to move away, but he just kept hugging her around the waist. He put his nose against her neck.
"You still smell like vanilla," he noted. He was a bit surprised, considering she was covered in sunscreen.
"You should really put sunscreen on," Lucy said, leaning back into him.
"I don't get sunburns," he laughed. He let Lucy go. "But if you really want me to." He squirted a tiny drop on his finger. He dramatically pressed his finger to his shoulder.
"Gray!" she yelled, throwing the bottle on him. "You know that's not what I meant!"
"I put sunscreen on, didn't I?" he asked with a smirk.
"You're such an ass," she laughed. "I'm going to go with Wendy." She crossed her arms and started walking away.
"Luce, it was a joke," he whined, running after her. She started running as well, just to get away from him. The running quickly turned into a game. He ran after her, trying to throw sand on her. They were both laughing. She looked behind her and stuck her tongue out, too busy to notice that she was running into the water. She let out an 'eep!' and tripped. She felt herself being held by warm arms, though, stopping her fall. She looked up and blushed, seeing herself in the arms of Renji.
"Are you always this clumsy?" he laughed, letting her go.
"I guess," she mumbled, awkwardly rubbing her arm and looking away.
"Try to be more careful, okay?" he asked, putting a hand on her head. She blushed more and nodded. "Oh no, here comes the warden," he laughed. Lucy looked up and saw Gray jogging over.
"Are you okay?" Gray asked, purposely stepping between his uncle and girlfriend.
"Yes," she squeaked out. She was sure Gray saw her blushing. It's a little weird to think about, though. It's not everyday someone gets jealous of their uncle.
"Look!" Wendy yelled from a little ways down the beach. Everyone looked to see her pointing towards the sky. "The sun's setting!" Deep shades of blue and purple painted the sky. The sun was halfway past the horizon. A few seagulls were honking and flying past, adding a nice affect.
"We better get inside before Regina has a heart-attack," Gin said.
"Or maybe we could stay out here," Renji suggested.
Everyone started laughing.
