Embry POV
It was the day before the wedding and I was on strict instructions not to see annalee but I missed her honestly. All the guys were up at jett and Eliza's house tonight, so tomorrow we only had to go down the road to were I will get married to my whole world and then back here to party the night away. Jett was my bestman, quil was my groomsman along with Seth and little William as the page boy. But I had all the other pack guys with me tonight too. We were going on a honeymoon the day after the wedding, we didn't want to leave our own party early so our flights leave to Rio de Janeiro late afternoon the day after the wedding. Us guys were having a small party tonight as were the girls but I couldn't settle, my mind was on over drive about tomorrow, so i figured a walk would help clear my head and get me in a calmer mind set. After walking for 10minutes I came to a small clearing and slowed down. I was almost at a stand still when I heard something.
"Cold feet?" A familiar, beautiful voice came from behind me, I turned to see my stunning bride to be coming out from behind the trees.
"Please I haven't had cold feet since I turned 16" I said and she smirked at me shaking her head.
"No" I said taking her hands in mine "I'd never have cold feet if it meant marrying you" she smiled up at me.
"Then what's wrong? And don't lie to me. I know something's up embry call!" I sighed.
"Just thinking about tomorrow, I don't want to do anything to mess it up"
"And you won't" she said.
"I could though, let's be honest" she shook her head.
"What are you scared about? Tell me, were in this together embry" I smiled and stroked the back of her hand with my thumb.
"I've been waiting two decades to marry you, miss black. You know that right?" She smiled.
"Since you phased?" I nodded.
"I've been waiting, for my imprint, my sole mate... After quil imprinted then jake, I seriously thought it would never happen, until you came along" she smiled and wiped the tear from her eye.
"I'm guess I'm just nervous I'm going to mess something up, waiting so long for this I want it to be perfect" she nodded.
"Tell me what it is, and I'll help you" I sighed and nodded.
"I know I should of told you before now but I can't dance, like seriously and I'm worried I'm going to embarrass you up there! After seeing you with mr British that time-" she put her finger up to my lips to stop me.
"You could never embarrass me baby, you should know that. And Kaine is a professional dancer, of course he can dance like that" I sighed.
"I know but I just wish I'd taken time out to learn, for you. He's going to be there tomorrow and he'll be laughing knowing he's danced with you, lead you like that and I'm there falling on my ass" she smiled and took a step back.
"If you wanted me to teach you, you should of just said" I shrugged and she put her hand on her hip.
"Take my hand" she held it out and I took it, she pulled us tightly together.
"Now place your other hand on my waist... My waist embry" I smirked and lifted my hand higher onto her waist.
"Now take one step towards me" I did and she took one back and then we did it again.
"Good, now follow my lead. But tomorrow, I think you'll have to lead" I laughed and she lead us around the small clearing, If there was music playing this could of been sometime out of a movie. I soon took charge and spun her around and dipped her low.
"I thought you couldn't dance" she said smirking.
"I guess I had a great teacher" she nodded.
"I guess you did" we smiled and I kissed her softly threading my fingers though her thick chocolate brown curls.
"Alice is going have my ass for seeing you" she said against my lips.
"Hey we were doing something to do with the wedding" she nodded.
"That we were" I kissed her once more and stepped away.
"I better get back, the guys will be wondering were I am. Last night as a free man" she laughed.
"Embry call. You haven't been a free man since the day I was born" I grinned.
"Damn straight! And I wouldn't have it any other way" I gripped her waist and pulled her flush against me.
"One more kiss for luck?" I asked and she smiled and gave me my kiss.
"I'll see you tomorrow miss black" she smiled.
"I'll be the one in white" I smiled.
"And you'll be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life" she blushed and I released her.
"I love you"
"I love you too baby" I said back and we turned in opposite directions and headed back to our party's.
Annalee POV
After my short meeting with embry I was on a high. Tomorrow was going to be one of the best days of my life, anything that could top that will be the day my children are born. Speaking of children I was going to become a proud aunt of a handsome baby boy in just four months. Jett and Eliza were both trilled when they found out it was going to be a little boy, so was I. I'm going to have a frickin' nephew! They'd settled on a couple of names but I know they really liked cole and Braydon so we'd just have to wait and see which one we got. I honestly didn't mean to bump into embry in the woods, I was just clearing my head when I caught his scent so I followed it, I'm glad I seen him though it calmed me down so much. When I got back onto the main road back down to my house, well I guess it was my house for now. Tomorrow me and embry got the keys for our new house in la push. We were spending our wedding night there before jetting off to rio. I was close to the turn off when I smelled a familiar scent but he wasn't suppose to be here till tomorrow morning. I turned around to see exactly who I thought. I ran at human speed and rushed into him.
"Oh my god! You were suppose to get here tomorrow!"
"I caught an earlier flight, just seeing if I could win the blushing bride back" I giggled.
"Sorry I'm kinda attached" he held his hands up.
"It's all good. I missed you luv" I smiled and hugged him again.
"I missed you too! Oh and wait till you see Eliza, she's huge!" He smiled.
"How long till the little one is here?"
"About four months! I'm so excited"
"I her! Aunt annalee" I grinned.
"Saying that makes me so happy" he laughed.
"Am I still doing what we discussed over the emails?" I nodded.
"Of course. Unless you changed your mind?"
"No luv. I'd be honoured to do that for you" I smiled.
"Good. Eliza's pretty excited to be doing it with you as well when I told her" he nodded.
"I was the same" I smiled and checked the time on my phone.
"I better get going, I have a party to get ready for. Where are you staying?"
"Just In town. Brandon and Callum are staying there too when they arrive. Is Jessica already here?" I nodded.
"Yup. Arrived this morning, the whole gang back together"
"For one night! And one night only" he joked. I laughed with him and hugged him once more.
"It was great seeing you again Kaine. I'll see you tomorrow" he nodded.
"I'll see you then luv" after we said our goodbyes I headed back home at a quicker speed, it was official I was a dead half vamp.
"Where have you been!" Alice squealed.
"Never mind" she said quickly "I can smell him" I smirked, wondering who it was Kaine or embry. Proberaly embry his scent was much more stronger than kaines. Alice pushed me into my mostly empty room now. Just my bed and a couple of clothes scattered around for tonight and mr pyjamas. My dress was in my moms closet. Keeping it safe. I got my dress and shoes on and was putting some moose in my curls so they would stay in place better there was a knocking on my door. I said come in and mom came around the door.
"Wow mom... You look hot!" I said smiling. She laughed.
"Thanks sweetie. Your dad said the same thing" I cringed.
"Oh wow. Sharing is not caring mom." She giggled and sat down on my bed.
"I have something for you. When I was just a little girl, my mom gave me a locket. You've seen it" I nodded knowing it too well. Myself and nina trying to play with it when we were younger and mom yelling at us.
"Well, I want you to have it" WHAT!
"What? No no mom. That's yours I can't" she held it out for me the chain wrapped around her fingers.
"Honey, I want you to have it. It's your first heirloom. And I've also added a Safire, I figured you could wear tomorrow, your something old and something blue" I was in total shock. My mouth making a perfect 'o'
"But... What about nina? She loved this too, I can't" I stuttered.
"You can, and you will. I have something else for nina when it's her turn. I always said to my mom that when my daughter was getting married I'd hand it down to her. And that's exactly what I'm doing" I took it out of her hands and ran my hand over it.
"Are you sure?" She nodded.
"Of course I am. Now come on" she told me to stand up and she pushed my hair to the side and clasped it around my neck.
"It's beautiful mom. Thank you so much" I hugged her.
"Your welcome darling. Now come on I can hear guests arriving" I smiled and we headed downstairs. There was balloons, banners, food, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages everywhere and the music was playing loudly. It turns out and I didn't know this till my mom told me, that vampires can in fact drink alcohol. It doesn't taste of anything to them, but it does make them drunk. It also slows there abilities down, therefore there hearing isn't as strong, can't run as fast and aren't physically very strong. In my grandparents and aunt and uncles case there gifts are slower, my grandfather can't read minds very well unless he's concentrating harder or there thinking pretty loudly. My grandmother can't use her shield proberly, therefore letting it drop. My uncle cannot control emotions therefore If someone was upset or distressed he couldn't calm them and my aunt can't see the future depending on peoples decisions. My mother and I can both drink it freely without any consequences other than the odd headache, we think that's our human side dominating. In just over half an hour all the girls were hear and ready to party. There was Nina, mom, Eliza, Claire, Jessica, aunt Rachel, Emily, Leah, Esme, grandma Bella, aunt Rosalie, aunt Alice , Skyler, Kim and of course Tanya, carmen and Kate my cousins from Alaska who I hadn't seen in years. I'd invited Alexa too, my old best friend from high school but she said she couldn't make tonight but was coming tomorrow, I just hoped she was going to be ok with Jett apparently there last meeting didn't go so ok.
After chatting and socialising with everyone, the food was getting eaten and the drinks were getting drank. The music was playing loudly and everyone was enjoying themselves. Everyone was fussing over Eliza, telling her to sit down and relax but she insisted she was fine, I knew Jett was wary about letting her come tonight but really what was she going to do? Sit in there bedroom while he got drunk with the pack? She's completely safe here. All the vamps around it would take a lot for her to get hurt, I guess he's just worrying. I dread to think how possessive embry will be when it's our turn. By eleven thirty, myself, Nina, Jessica and Claire were very... Drunk. This was a bad idea, Alice tried to warn me to play it cool but I was celebrating, it was the Eve of my wedding. I was going to regret this tomorrow morning.
"Cause' tonight for the first time, Just about half past ten. For the first time in history. It's gonna start raining men" Claire sung as we jumped around.
"It's raining men, Hallejulah, It's raining men. Amen" we all sang together. Everyone was laughing as we danced around the living room dancing and singing to the song. I'd given up on shoes a while ago, I didn't want to twist my ankle or anything, I'm not even sure my gift works on myself and I wasn't willing to try it. Things were very upbeat throughout the whole night and we all finally gave in at around two thirty am. I slept in my room with Claire. Jessica was with Eliza in her and Jetts old room. Mom was with aunt Rachel in her room. Skyler, Kim were in the guest room. Emily and nina were in nina's room and Leah took the couch. The vampires went up to the big house to work through there alcohol, it didn't last as long as it did for us either, so in a coupe hours they'd all be right as rain. The last thing I remember was mumbling to Claire that I loved her and then I fell asleep.
Embry POV
My party was good. Hanging with the guys, playing poker and drinking a few beers. Perfect. Around eleven Jett rang Eliza to make sure she was ok, it sounded very loud, and I could hers annalee and Claire yelling something in the background that sounded like 'Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs. With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love. Got a bottle of whatever, but it's getting us , here's to never growing up' so they were all pretty wasted. It was official I was going to be marrying a very hungover annalee tomorrow. Jacob also rang Nessie who was drunk too. She didn't get a chance to drink at her own bachelor party because she was pregnant with Jett so I guess it was kind of like making up for lost time. Nessie kept asking Jacob to come home because she needed some of his 'good lovin'' poor ness. She's going to be embarrassed tomorrow. Jetts house was way to small for us to all sleep there tonight like the girls were doing, so myself, Jacob, Seth and quil were staying there with Jett. Jacob and Jett were staying in the bedroom and I took the couch and Seth and quil were on camp beds on the floor. They did have two bedrooms but the second bedroom was now a nursery for there little guy. I woke up around four am wide awake so I went outside for a little bit of air. I looked down Jetts long garden/land to see the tents and everything set up for tomorrow. Edward, Carlisle, emmett and jasper plus some of there vampire cousin mates had set up that all tonight. They called in to say hello but didn't want to stop they'd rather sort everything out for us which was ok. I figured everyone would be asleep but I was wrong. Jett was awake, he came outside and sat down on the porch chairs with me.
"You can't sleep?" He asked and I shook my head.
"It's all kind of surreal. I guess it's just kicking in now. I mean to think a year ago this month, myself and annalee were just overcoming the biggest fight we'll ever proberly go through and tomorrow I'm making her my wife" he chuckled.
"Yeah she's never had patients my sister" I smirked.
"Oh yeah, coming from you" he smiled.
"What can I say? If runs in the family" I nodded.
"But I wouldn't change it for the world" he told me.
"I agree" I said. Jett stood up and held his hand out for me.
"Welcome to the family man" I shook his hand and he went inside. I followed In a few minutes later and fell back to sleep. Because today was the day my life changed forever, and I couldn't wait!
