Hello all my loyal fans. This may is most likely the update you have waiting for. I'm terribly stuck with Distance; I'm going to do a bit of self-promotion since I don't do it that often. Welcome to my story, Destination. I am Sinclare, and I will be your guide through this field of blue flowers known as my literary work. If you have to the time, and the motivation please check out my other stories, Distance, Torches (I recommend you check out Torches I just uploaded the second chapter! It's a fun little harem and comedy special I whipped up for you all. I hope you enjoy it!), and Guild Wars (is being rewritten). I currently am collaborating with a good friend of my known as darksundemise, and we have a Aot (Attack on Titan) fic, currently in progress. Check it out if you can, its called And the War Came. Your best bet of finding it is to just search his name, and you'll find it easier.

Ch10: The Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond the Mountains)

"You bastard! Let me go!" I shouted swinging my small canine arms as Dusknoir held me with a pinched hand far away from his body. "I'll fucking kill you!" Dusknoir scoffed tossing me into cell. "I'd like to see you try!" He retorted, tossing Vincent's unconscious form on my body. "Get over here and let me show you that I can!" I watched the Dusknoir throw the door closed. I pushed him from me, and charged. I wrapped my padded paws around the iron bars. "Dusknoir!" I rattled them loud and long before finally throwing my arms up in exhaustion.

"Fuck!" I punched the wall. My frustrations began to grow as time passed. Who the fuck knows how long he left us in here. I was beginning to get antsy I continuously walked around the perimeter of the cell. I can't stand this. Fuck him! I kill you Dusknoir! A sharp squeal rang throughout the room. A darkened figure rushed in from the corner of my vision. And I was out cold again...

I kept cursing at myself under my breath as I came to. My body was restrained with rope, I was no stranger to the prickly constriction that came with its embrace. I heard the high laughs of the Sableye and the low laugh of Dusknoir. My teeth gritted without my consent. This reaction was bored in my mind. I could feel my muscles tensing with every second. My eyes flared with the light like a Charizard's eye filled with rage. He stood there with the smuggest look. I hated that.

"Hey, you're finally awake." Grovyle muttered.

"Sinclare!" Vincent shouted. As I suspected we were all tied to columns.

"Shit..." I muttered, "how the hell are we going to get out of this?"

"Well if you prefer, I have a plan-"

"Why would I consider lowering myself to working with a fugitive like you!" I grumbled loud enough for only my contemporaries to hear.

"Sinclare!" Vincent chided, "how to do you expect us to live? Do you really think the graciousness of Arceus will touch us? Huh?" I deadpanned moving my eyes from his.

"I've been kicked around my whole village and family, and I've survived all of it! Never in my life has this happened to me, and I'm willing to be HE will be our salvation!" Vincent cried.

"Fine!"

"Kill them!" Dusknoir's voice boomed. The Sableye sprang to life, brandishing their claws, ready to rip us to shreds. Right swipe, left swipe, right swipe, left swipe, right, left, right, left. I could feel my binds loosening and I prepared myself for a preemptive strike! Now! I thought to my thrusting my arm forward, surrounding with the blistering cold. Dusknoir's eyes widened with surprise. "Everyone! Nightshade attack!" All of the Sableye complied. Distancing themselves for the attack. Dusknoir and the Sableye shot the lightning-like blast of darkness at us. I raised my palm, ready to connect with it. "I don't know what this power is! I didn't want it nor did I ask for it! But, I'll use it to save us!"

I absorbed it all. The power coursed through by body sending electric feeling into my nerves. Hell, it even radiated from me. Black lightning sparked into life from my being, it felt... good. "Fuck you!" It crackled back out with a flash and snap. The speed and powered it emanated popped with force and jolted towards them all. His eye shined with fear as he scream. I released my battle cry releasing the dark storm from my body in an endless stream. They all screamed at the pain I caused them. Fuck them. They started it!

"Okay that's enough! Let's go!" Vincent and I followed Grovyle closely down the hall. We would have no pursuers. They were all unconscious. "After them!" Dusknoir cried. I stand-corrected... "Run! We've got followers!"

"What?!" Vincent cried.

"I thought you knocked them all out!" Grovyle began.

"We don't have time for this!" I retorted.

"You know what it is time for?" Grovyle began again.

"IT'S TIME to haul ass, you idiots!" Vincent shouted at us, trying to encourage us to run faster than we already were. Where was the damn exit in this place? Its virtually impossible to locate given we only found stairwells leading up and down. Apparently this place was bigger that I expected.

"How the in name of Arceus do we get out of here?" I shouted to the high heavens.

"We smash our was out! This way!" Grovyle directed. "Bullet Seed!" He exclaimed releasing the barrage against the wall. The barrier crumbled before us, and showed to us the bleak, dark and grey outside world. "Jump if you want to live!"

"Dammit!" I screamed leaping from the building. I felt the air quickly pass my faces. My eyes began to tear up at the brisk and quick stream.

"Question! How in the hell are we going to survive this fall?!" Vincent piped up quickly from his free fall daze.

"How the hell should I know?" I retorted. "Grovyle?"

"Land on the floating rocks! Trust me!"

Arceus dammit, fine! I trust him and aimed myself for the floating rock just below me. "Fuck!" I shouting straightening my legs as I hit. The boulder sunk down and instantly sprang back up. "Hell yeah that was awesome!" I laughed.

"Hey!" Vincent called. "Be amused later, we have to move!"

"Then lets go!" We ran for about an hour running to Arceus knows where.

"We can stop here and rest for a while. We must have lost them by now." Grovyle sighed.

"I can't believe this! What is the future this bleak?" Asked Vincent.

"It's worse than you would think kid. I went back trying to keep this from happening."

"Fat lot of good that did." I said, with a sneer.

"Maybe if you idiots didn't get in my way or stick you noses into business that didn't concern you. I could have prevented this." Grovyle whipped his arm back, enraged.

"What did you call us?" I asked, making a fist.

"Heel, Sinclare!" I spat at that. Referring to me as if I was nothing more than an attack dog. Damn, you Vincent!

"I'm leaving, you can follow if you want. I need to get back to the past." Grovyle dashed off into the distance. I looked down at the ground, and punched it.

"Fuck, let's go Vincent. We have to get back and keep this from happening." I ran off after Grovyle, darting around the corner and towards the cave that swallowed him. "Grovyle!"

"Grovyle!"

"Grovyle!"

"Rovyle!

"Ovyle

"Vyle!" The echo screamed a back at me as I ran deeper into the depths of the cave. I came across a round room riddled with torch light. A darkened figure was lying in the corner bathed in a strange aura. "Run, you fool!" It choked out. It was Grovyle.

"You dare desecrate this sacred place?" Came a disembodied voice.

"Tch, I couldn't care less about your horrid cave! I just want to get home." I said in a low and angry voice.

"Too bad, you will never see it again."

"Sinclare watch out!" I was pushed. Vincent came from nowhere knocking me from where I stood. Saving me from the blast of dark energy that had my name on it. "Ready to start?" Vincent asked.

"Ready to start." I answered.

"I, Spiritomb, will be your opponent!" Darkened shroud came from the small keystone before us. Forming itself in a face. One with spiral eyes and a zigzag mouth. "A fighting-type Pokemon, eh?" I heard Spiritomb mutter. "Psychic!"

My mouth ran dry. I felt the blast hit my core and leave me defenseless. "Fuck..." I muttered. I fell to my knees. NO! I will not be useless! But I stood back up.

"Oh ho! So resilient! Normally I can K-O any fighting-type with just that." The Spiritomb hummed it over for a bit. "Well then! How about another?" I could feel the blast coming and I prepared myself. I felt the energy enter my body. I couldn't control it, though, maybe it had something to do with it being my type disadvantage.

"Vincent. Distract him while I try to get this under wraps so I can release it!"

"You got it!" I watched Vincent charge into battle. Letting loose a volley of dark energy. Why... why am I relying on this power instead of my own? That's a good question. Why am I using this power and not my own? Is it because I can't stand up to anything other than small fries? I could feel it surging within me demanding release. Wait... then how did I beat that legendary? Or were they making that up...

"Sinclare!" I looked at Vincent as he was skidding away. "Stop having doubts you idiot! It's not the time for that!"

It's true, but... I'm not strong enough. I can't do anything! But I can fight until my last breath! I willed the psychic energy to stay put. "Attack him now!" Vincent shouted. I made the psychic energy disappear from my body, I wanted to use my own power for this. I stood up from my kneeling position. My were eyes solid with determination. Vincent looked back and smiled, "now there's the Sinclare I know!"

"Weak fool!" Shouted the Spiritomb. I steeled myself, letting the aura build at the very edge of my palms.

"Aura Blade." I muttered to myself, charging at the Spiritomb. The ethereal construct stuck out from my arm with shining brilliance. I just wish I could have taken the time to stop and stare. But I had more important things to attend to. "Let's go you glorified brick!" I struck a quick blow as fast as I could while also dodging an impending blast of psychic waves.

The Spiritomb grunted and grumbled to himself. "Damn you." he muttered to himself. "Stupid little fox. Sapping away my energy while the pup cries to himself." I barred my teeth.

"Aura Sphere!" I announced, there might as well have been a been a big "fuck you" written on it. Cause that is exactly what I was thinking to myself. I attempted to slam the sphere into him. Unfortunately, psychic came into play. "Aw come on!"

"Try all you might little pup. You cannot defeat me!" Spiritomb boasted.

"Oh, I know I can't. After all physical attacks have no effect on ghost-types. Vincent." I smiled at myself for this clever little endeavor of ours. I heard Vincent snickering as he released the Shadow Ball aimed for the Spiritomb.

"Damn you!" He growled seconds before it collided with his body. Beneath the plume of smoke the Spiritomb's swirl eyes turned to X's. The keystone jumped up and surprise squealing at the top of it's lungs to run. It was quite comical.

"Okay?" Vincent dragged off, deciding to turn a blind eye to the events.

"Grovyle, you alright?" I asked, breathing heavily.

He responded with a raspy voice. "Yeah... let's just get back to the past." We spent the next half-hour walking without uttering a single word. I wish someone spoke up. I was beginning to get bored. We approached an all too familiar setting. The clearing from our little expedition.

"Why are we here?" Vincent asked before I could. Good thing he said it and not me. I have a sneaking suspicion that Grovyle hasn't taking a liking towards me.

"Celebi!" Grovyle shouted.

"Who's Celeb-"

"Oh Grovyle!" Came a femine voice. A tiny Pokemon appeared before us. "So where's you partner?" She asked.

"Still in the past. I need you to send us back." He said, imposing as always.

"Tch, always so demanding!" She exclaimed, with a loud sigh. "Fine, I'll take you to the tear."

I looked at them both wondering what they were talking about. Maybe... never mind. Vincent and I just followed them and we made our way deeper into the forest.
