Nina POV

Well this was it. I was graduating today, we were all in the hotel getting ready and waiting for annalee and embry to arrived before we were heading to Yale for my graduation ceremony. I put my dress on and was fixing my hair in the bathroom mirror when there was a knock at the door. I ran out of the bathroom faster than either of my parents moved to get the door and flung it open. Annalee and embry where both stood there smiling. I flung my arms around annalee and hugged her tight. Mom was close behind me as was dad.

"Oh I missed you. Come in, did you have a good time?" I asked she nodded.

"Yeah it was so amazing. I didn't want to come home" I smiled.

"Well I'm glad you did, I've missed you" she smiled.

"I've missed you to sis!"

"Oh my baby! You look fantastic, really you do. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself" mom said hugging annalee, and then dad did basically did the same thing. They both got dressed and we met Eliza and jett downstairs in the lobby and headed over to the school, both Eliza and annalee catching up with one another, Eliza filling her in on her family returning and baby gossip. When we parted I went towards the graduating classes while my family went and took there seats. I was greeted by a couple of people who I knew from my classes but I was really looking for my roommate Sarah-jane and her boyfriend mark. Once I had my cap and gown I went over to stand in line and I found her.

"Hello" I said and hugged her.

"Hey! Oh my god are you as excited as I am?" I nodded.

"Yeah I can't wait!" Mark came over smiling.

"Hey stranger" I laughed and hugged him.

"How's your summer been?"

"Fantastic, and yours?" He nodded smiling.

"Pretty good"

"So what are you guys doing starting September?"

"I'm going down to new york. Joining the force" I smiling and hugged her.

"That's fantastic! Well done. I'm so proud of you" she smiled.

"I'm staying up in new heaven. Joining the ambulance crew at the local hospital" I looked shocked and then smiled.

"No way! I'm starting a full time job there! All though that's in the new year when the vacancy comes up. I'm going to be on the nursing station" he grinned.

"Work buddies" I giggled and noticed Sarah's annoyed look.

"And I'll be down New York as much as possible to see you my love" he said and kissed her cheek. She smiled a fake smile and shrugged him off.

"The ceremony is going to start in a moment. Better get in line" we nodded and joined the line up to the stage. After the principle of the school made his speech, they started calling everyone's names in alphabetical order.

"Nina Olivia black" I went up onto the stage. Shook the principles hand and received my diploma and exited the stage. Sarah was next and last but not least mark. And finally we were announced the graduating class of two thousand and twenty five. We all cheered and celebrated as we had officially finished college. I soon found my family and mom pulled me into a bone crushing hug.

"Oh congratulations honey I'm so proud of you"

"Thanks moma" dad was next picking me up and spinning me around.

"I'm going to be sick!" He laughed and set me on my feet.

"Sorry sweetheart I'm just so proud of you" I smiled and then was hugged by jett, annalee, embry and Eliza well the best she could hug at the moment. We decided we would go out for a meal tonight to celebrate so we choose a little Italian not far from the hotel. Dad, jett and embry all ordered pizzas. Mom and Eliza ordered carbonara. I ordered spaghetti and annalee was picky so she just asked for some plain pasta and chicken which they happily obliged for her. During the meal we discussed, how proud they all were of me. How Eliza was doing. How embry and annalees honeymoon was. We were even talking about Eliza's baby shower before the food arrived. When it did everyone tucked in but I seen embry watching annalee with wary eyes. Mom must of noticed too because she spoke up.

"Sweetie are you okay?" Annalee nodded.

"I'm fine just give me a minute" she put her elbows on the table and rested her head in her heads letting out slow shaky breathes. Me and mom both give embry a questioning look.

"Okay I may have overdone it trying to make her try new foods on holiday. She keeps getting a little sick, that's all. Her body doesn't like it" I nodded and mom looked puzzled.

"When did she start being sick?"

"Oh um... Around a week ago?"

"How often?" He shrugged.

"It depends. Usually just after she's ate or the smell of other foods. She can only keep pasta down but it looks like she can smell your foods too"

"What about when she hunts?" He shrugged.

"She hasn't hunted since the the first time she was sick. Says she wasn't feeling up to it" mom glanced at my dad and he looked a little annoyed. Whereas mom just looked full of concern. The conversation was dropped there until annalee ran to the bathroom and threw up. Me and mom went with her and rubbed her back.

"I don't know what's happening to me" she cried.

"What if I'm Turing more vampire? Grampa told me when a vampire eats human food it makes them really sick! Mom I don't want to turn more vampire" I thanked god nobody else was in this bathroom with us. Both shushed her and hugged her.

"Your not turning more vampire annalee. I don't think that's possible, but I think I know what is wrong"

"What?" She sobbed.

"You remember when I told you about using protection with embry?" Annalee sighed and nodded.

"Like I'll forget that conversation in a hurry" I had to giggle. I dreaded the 'talk' with mom.

"Well... What protection did you use?" Annalee cringed.

"Oh for heavens sake mom!"

"Tell me sweetie" mom said softly.

"Condoms ok" now it was moms turn to sigh.

"That's what I was worried about. I thought embry would have known but obviously not. Sweetheart, condoms don't work on wolves" her head shot up.

"What?!" She almost shouted.

"There body heat is too hot, it melts the latex" mom laughed lightly "how do you think I ended up pregnant so soon with your brother?" Me and annalee both stared at mom in shock.

"Why didn't you tell me!" She yelled.

"Annalee I tried! You shot it down everytime" wait I had a question.

"Ok then... How are you not pregnant like every four months then?" I asked and mom smirked.

"Because I'm on birth control. When it came to yourself and your sister. I'd either forgot to take it or it wasn't one hundred percent effective" annalee gaped at mom for a second before speaking up.

"I can't be pregnant!" She yelled.

"I've been married for three god damn weeks! I only started been sick like a week ago. Eliza never started until she was in her second month. It's too soon, I'm not pregnant" one again mom sighed.

"Your a hybrid annalee. Therefore you'll have a hybrid pregnancy. Four months" annalee froze. Taking it all in I guess, she looked terrified and confused and upset all rolled into one.

"I can't have a baby in four months mom" she whispered. Mom looked just as upset as she did and tried to comfort her. I joined in and we had a three way hug.

"I'm scared" she confessed and broke down into tears.

"Oh I know sweetheart. I was so scared when I first found out I was pregnant too. Your father and I were so new. I knew I was his imprint but I didn't want to get pregnant so soon. I was enjoying my life with him, I wanted to wait for a family. But do you know what? I don't regret your brother at all. All three of you are the best things ever to happen to me. Just like this baby is going to be the best thing to happen to you and embry" mom said and put her hand on annalees stomach. Annalee pulled away and went for the door.

"We better go back. They'll all we worrying" we all followed annalee back to the table. But it looks like everyone had already heard except from Eliza of course. The bathroom wasn't far from our table at all so no wonder they heard.

"Annalee" embry squeaked.

"I'm not talking about this" she said and sat down.

"I was a mistake?" Jett asked looking a bit sad.

"The best mistake we ever made. Right Jacob?"

"Absolutely" dad said staring right at annalee.

"Honey are you?"

"No I'm not" she said and pushed her plate away.

"I'm not hungry, someone else can eat that" embry looked away from annalee and up to me and mom who were standing by the table. Mom nodded sightly and he reached over for annalees hand.

"Honey please will you"

"No!" She snapped "I'm going back to the hotel I don't feel very well"

"Let me come with you" embry said standing up.

"I'd rather be alone" she said and walked out of the restaurant. We all just stood and stared at each other for a minute before Eliza spoke up.

"Erm... What just happened?" After we'd filled her in on everything that happened we headed back to the hotel. I felt so bad for annalee, I knew she wanted a family with embry a lot but she wanted to wait so they could enjoy married life for a while. I can't believe embry didn't know that wolves couldn't wear condoms I mean he's a wolf himself, this all totally makes sense now that dad was freaking out asking jett if Eliza was on birth control when it came out that those guys where sleeping together. Wow my family are shit with birth control, everyone just keeps getting knocked up. When we arrived at the hotel everyone went there separate ways. Jett took Eliza back to there room. Mom and dad went to there's, I was in the joining room to there's so thankfully I could shut them out... I didn't need to see any of that. And annalee and embry were in there own room, but it was just embry heading back in hope annalee would be there.

Embry POV

I opened our room door with the key card and pushed it open to see annalee across the room, in a pair of sleep shorts and a tank top. The tank top was pushed up as she stood sideways examining herself or more her stomach. I closed the door with a click and she met my eyes in the mirror.

"There's a change I can see it" I said at barely a whisper. She shook my head and pushed her tank down and walked over to the bed.

"We have to talk about this" I said walking over to the bed.

"There's nothing to talk about" she insisted. She turned over in bed away from me pulling the covers over herself. I groaned and changed Into my boxers for bed. I climbed in next to her and lay staring at the ceiling.

"You know your going to have to come to terms with this annalee. Because in four months, were going to have a baby" I said and for the first time tonight it actually sank in that she was pregnant.

"No I don't have to come to terms with anything because I'm not pregnant"

"Yes you are. I remember your moms pregnancy, I don't know why I didn't think of that before. And I can see the change in your body, just then I noticed it" she turned over and laid the same as me looking at the ceiling.

"Why didn't you know?"

"Know what?"

"That wolves cant wear condoms?" She said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Because I didn't know" she slammed her hands into the mattress and sat up.

"How could you not know? Your in each other's heads every damn day?!" I sat up with her.

"Because when we phase we actually try not to think about that. If we ever do it's only a slip up, not oh fuck I wore a condom guess that means my wife's knocked up!" She groaned and got of bed.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To the bathroom? Is that okay?"

"Yeah" I said and put my head in my hands. This wasn't how I expected us to react at the news of our first child, I expected it to be all cheers and celebrations. After a couple of minutes I heard a soft cry come from the bathroom, I got out of bed and went inside not really caring anymore she's my wife there wasn't any place I hadn't seen or touched now.

"Baby" I said softly and walked over to her. She was sitting on the toilet lid crying. I picked her up and sat her in my lap. She clung to me and cried.

"Why are you in denial?" I said rubbing circles on her back.

"I-I'm scared embry" I lifted her chin so we were looking at each other.

"I'm going to be here the whole time. For your mood swings, the late nights, early mornings, bottles, diaper changes, first words, first steps, everything annalee. You don't need to be scared" she didn't respond just clung onto me more.

"Please take a test" I said as she sobbed.

"Why do you need me to take a test if your so sure?"

"Because I want you to believe it. You need to see it for yourself" she cried out again.

"I can't"

"Why?"

"Because what If I'm not? What if I take the test and it's negative. I want nothing more than to have a family with you and if that test is negative, I'll feel like I've lost something even though it was never there to begin with" I felt my heart break for her.

"It won't be negative baby I promise. Please just get dressed and come with me" she sniffled and let me take her back into the bedroom. It was only around ten pm so the late night shops will be open. She wasn't really moving just sat on the end of the bed so I took off her shorts and helped her into some jeans and buttoned them up. I think that's the most restraint I've shown a half naked annalee since our wedding day, usually I'd just jump on her, Proberly why she's pregnant now. I left her tank on and gave her one of my hoodies to out on and her converse, i think this was the most dressed down I'd seen annalee in a long time. I changed myself quickly and took her hand in mine pulling her out of the hotel room and out of the hotel. There was a quick stop store down the street so I took her there. Damn there were so many different types and annalee wasn't really speaking so I wasn't going to leave it up to her to choose so I picked up one and took it to the counter. A small elder women served us.

"Oh this is lovely. Congratulations to you both if it's positive"

"Thank you" I said and annalee just stared blankly, god knows what she was thinking.

"She's a little nervous" I said and the women smiled gently.

"Oh I know where your coming from dear, the first time I got pregnant I was so scared. I was in Denial for a while but it was the best thing to happen to me" she chuckled.

"He's twenty three now. Expecting one himself" I smiled at her as she handed me the bag containing the test.

"Well congratulations on your grandchild and thank you" I said and pulled annalee with me. When we got back to the hotel room she was nervously chewing her lip.

"Just do it baby" I said and she nodded. She took the test and went into the bathroom. A few minutes later she came out and sat next to me on the bed holding it in her hands.

"How long?" I asked.

"Three minutes" I nodded and we both sat there silently.

"Don't you think we've rushed into this?" She asked.

"Well, it isn't the best timing but like you said before I want nothing more than to have a family with you"

"Yeah but embry, we only got married three weeks ago. Hell the first time we had sex was only three weeks ago" I nodded slowly.

"Yeah I know. But I love you and were going to be together forever. There's no set time when we can do things when you have forever" she nodded and smiled at me for the first time in hours. I leaned over and kissed her lips softly.

"If I am... I'm getting put on birth control after it's born. No way am I being constantly pregnant" I laughed and nodded.

"I agree baby" she giggled and I kissed her once more. When we pulled away she looked nervous again. She looked down at the test and turned it over.

"I told you" I whispered. She dropped the stick and turned to me.

"I'm pregnant?"

"Your pregnant! Your so pregnant" she laughed and leaned over me to straddle my waist claiming my lips. She pushed me down on my back leaning over me kissing me pulling my shirt over my head. I pulled away.

"But honey I don't want to hurt you or the baby" she smiled and kissed my jaw.

"You won't. Eliza and jett are still going at it and she's 7months pregnant with a mostly human baby. I'm a half vampire pregnant with a... Well me and my siblings are all different so who knows but I know for a fact you won't hurt either of us. Plus have you ever heard of the phrase 'happy moma equals happy baby'" I smiled and turned us over so she was underneath and made her a happy moma.

The next day we all met for breakfast, I could tell everyone was slightly wary around us obviously because of last night.

"Guys seriously, I'm fine. We went to the store last night and got a test. Obviously it was positive but I'm okay, were okay" she said and held my hand. Nessie almost screamed and hugged annalee.

"I'm so happy your okay darling"

"Me too baby girl" Jacob said and then glared at me. Oh what did he expect was going to happen!

"So when will he or she be born? Because as I recall you were pregnant for what four months?" Eliza asked to Nessie. She nodded.

"Yep. Proberly a month after your little ones been born. I'll call Carlisle when were back, let him know. He'll more than likely come home" annalee nodded as she picked at her food.

"You should eat" I said.

"You try eating when something inside you repels all food but dried up pasta!" I backed down, great mood swings already.

"At least she's only pregnant for four months. Imagine what I've gone through" jett said jokingly but Eliza punched his arm.

"Shut your face! Or you'll never get a chance for more kids" and we all knew what the meant because he shut up straight away. Both annalee and Eliza smiled at each other. After we'd eaten we went for our bags and caught our flight home. Ahh home.
