Epilogue
"I want you all to give me strong middle punches!" Gray called out. He received a chorus of "yes, sir"s from his group students. They all started punching. He watched in satisfaction as they all worked hard, sweat already rolling down the sides of their faces.
Shortly after Luna was born, Gray and Lucy got married. They had a joint wedding with Layla and Zeref. The service was very grand. All of Layla's students and just about the whole school showed up, along with all their families. Ur and Kyle took Luna, Zeref and Layla went back to their nice new home, while Lucy and Gray went to Hawaii for a week, letting all their stress and worries out, pretty much never leaving their hotel room. Then their life started. Gray started martial arts classes back up, and Lucy was the best mother. They made more money than they could need because of Gray, so she didn't need to work. More students started joining, mostly teenage girls. Even though they were joining for the wrong reasons, Gray was happy to teach them.
"Luna," Gray said sternly. He eyed his daughter with interest. She was just standing there in all her green-belt-glory, clearly not doing what she was suppose to be doing. She was six, plenty old enough to know not to stop before he tells them all to. She's been doing this for a year, after all.
"Daddy!" Luna suddenly blurted out. She started bouncing, pointing behind her father.
Gray raised an eyebrow. He heard the yelling just as he turned around. Two four-year-old boys came tumbling down the stairs. They were laughing and yelling, clearly having fun with their game. Lucy came bouncing down after them, one hand on her large stomach. She looked flustered and completely tired.
"It's time for you all to go, anyways," Gray said, nodding to the group of parents waiting by the door.
He easily scooped up his two boys, one in each arm. One blonde head poked out form behind his shoulder, then a black one. They both had dark eyes and a defined jaw, just like him. "Andrew, Kaden," he said in a stern yet playful tone. "You shouldn't be giving your mother so much trouble. You wouldn't want to upset her, would you? She just might just have your replacements there in the oven." Lucy rolled her eyes at his comment.
"No, Daddy, no!" both twins cried at once. They jumped from Gray's arms, running over behind Lucy.
Gray snicked and got to his knees in front of Lucy, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I don't know, boys. It seems to me that there's two girls in here. You'll have girls showing you up! See how uncool you'll look?"
"Gray," Lucy laughed, pulling him up. She put her arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer. "You know that I'm just having one boy. Don't scare them like that." She gave him a quick peck on the lips.
"What's that? You want to name them Andrea and Kaitlin?" Gray asked in a questioning tone. The twins just screamed and went running upstairs, going on about how gross girls were. That just made Luna chase after them ,defending her female honor.
"You're awful. Why did I marry you again?" Lucy asked. After briefly checking that all the parents and students left, she pulled him down once again to kiss her senseless.
Things never do change, especially when it's meant to be.
