Welcome one and all to my next chapter, as a nice bonus for waiting so long and as an apology for the early confusion a few days ago here's my longest chapter YET!

Now for those of you that may have seen some weirdness some time ago in regards to my story constantly updating and being all around odd, I was fixing the very minor mistake in chapter 3 when I wrote 'months' instead of 'weeks' for Naruto's training schedule. It seemed EVERYONE who read that chapter or to that point that reviewed felt the need to tell me about it. Well I fixed it, so you can all shut up and stop telling me something I've been told dozens of times already. Here's a helpful tip in the future, for reviewing any fics : if you see a problem of any kind in someone's fic...check their reviews first to see if anyone else caught it. Because I'm very certain that many of you are like me in the matter that one can get really annoyed by being told the same thing over and over and over again instead of something else, namely other critiquing of my fic's content instead of just the same goddamn thing.

*Signs in frustration*

Now let's get back on track, as a heads up this chapter will be my true starting point in regards to something I left out in the summary since it wouldn't fit. This fic will contain Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Danzo, Sasori, Diedara, Hidan, Kakuza, Itachi, Kisame, Pein/Nagato, Obito/Tobi, Madara, and quite a number of other's bashings. Now I will be clear on this, the degree of said bashing will be in regards of a couple of factors: 1-Will be the illogical way Kishi-baka developed them (Sasuke truly believes he of all people deserves to and can become Hokage?), 2-The way their character shapes up in regards to character development and personal growth (really Sakura even after everything that's happened your still gonna leave it all on Naruto and Sasuke, one of the worst female leads ever), 3-The ridiculous amount of respect and gratitude some gain (Itachi is considered better then Hashirama even though he slaughter dozens if not hundreds of people many innocent (I'm counting being Akatushi as well) consistently mind raping his own brother, and all around not caring what damaged he has caused by his actions (leaving Naruto to clean up HIS mess since he apparently can't kill Sasuke)). There will most definitely be more reasons later on, I promise to explain my reasoning in the reference sheet below after said bashing occurs so I don't have Sasuke or Itachi fans debasing my story and beliefs about certain characters. There will ALWAYS be a method to my madness and insanity, I ask that you accept that and at least allow me to explain when it happens.

Now then I don't own any of the stuff I used from different Medias or Naruto. If I get in trouble for having not done this since chapter 6, I only got one thing to say: you sure as all hell let me last this long not doing it and not throwing a fit. Oh also as a reminder I plan to refurbish and polish this fic down the line, so if you get an Alert and there's no new chapter that's just me fixing past misspellings and other mistakes from earlier on. If you complain to me about that in a review or PM, all I'm gonna say is you didn't bother to read this and more than likely ignore any further complaints, if you don't read these then I question your intellect and interest in my stories.

Chapter 9: The Snake's Trap/Awakening of the 2nd Arm

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" these screams where of the pure sound of pain itself from the mouth of one Sabaku no Gaara.

Said screams gained from the very noticeable fist full of lightning his opponent one Uchiha Sasuke had stabbed into his left shoulder.

Of course this didn't end with Gaara passing out, oh no, see even though dear Gaara spent a vast majority of his young life unharmed he is still a Jinchuuriki. And him being container of the Ichibi no Shukaku, self-titled Master of the Desert, meant that what would weaken or even kill a regular ninja would only impede or slow a demon vessel.

That's why to the eyes of our blonde haired hero Naruto and his partner Kurama, it wasn't surprising at all for them to see Gaara's sand launch the Uchiha as far back as possible from its wounded wielder.

Of course under normal circumstances that would have been all Gaara would have been able to do, but because of his major injury and Shukaku's own protectiveness over his container (no matter how warped it was) to the brief moment of contact with the duck ass haired boy to maul his arm, particularly the same arm that pierced his Jinchuuriki's shoulder.

Of course such damage doesn't come without screams of pain, said screams being noticeably similar to Gaara's own. As Sasuke cradle's his damaged arm and Gaara tries to hold onto what sanity he has left, neither notices the slowly falling feathers around the arena.

Naruto, Yugito, and those around them noticed the falling plumage and suddenly gained the urge to go to sleep. Whilst inside them there bodies their contained Bijuu instantly recognize the situation.

"SNAP OUT OF IT KIT/KITTEN!"was the resounding cry from both Kurama and Matatabi to their respective Jinchuuriki. Hearing the words of their inner beasts both raise their hands into the ram seal and with a brief application of chakra use the Genjutsu release to break the encroaching sensation to sleep.

"KAI!" with their release being so close to the others soon Kin, Haku, Kankuro, and Temari are too free from the sleeping effects.

As they break the spell set on them a near titanic explosion is heard from above and in the distance of them. Looking upwards those free from the Genjutsu's effects see the Kage's box explode with the force of several explosive tags. Those higher up and near the top of the arena can also see the large amount of smoke billowing up near the area's where the village's gates are.

The Genin still within the Fighter's box slowly turn towards each other. With a quick twist of his wrist and draw of chakra Kankuro releases Karasu and prepares to launch an attack.

Surprisingly as he does so both Suna siblings see to their shock absolutely no fear or shock on a certain Uzumaki's face. Ignoring it to instead shot his poisoned senbon at the boy Kankuro is soon frozen in place with his arms kept locked in their place. His confusion is soon answered by a voice behind him, "When Naruto told me to come down here earlier and wait by the entrance of the box I thought it was so he could show-off him besting Sasuke or something. Now I understand better, how troublesome."

Both Temari and Kankuro have their heads forcibly turned to see not only the lazy Nara behind her and her brother with his shadow connected to the both of them but also one Aburame Shino holding our a hand whilst several of his Kikaichu headed towards the two, to no doubt weaken them for capture.

"Surprised, you should be. But also the same could be said in that you shouldn't be. Mostly on account that for all his genius Orochimaru is very stupid when it comes to using his pawns in this case that being him allowing Gaara to be so obvious with not only his mentality, but also his complete disregard for his subordinates. That being his lack of attention to Kin-chan here." At hearing the words come from Naruto's mouth both Suna Nin turned to see, once again by Shikamaru's control, Tsuchi Kin holding her Oto headband in her hand as she drops it to the floor and reveals the Konoha one replacing it on her head.

Shocked at the fact they were found out they could only stand there frozen in place as Suna and Oto ninja show themselves from within the stands only to meet several Konoha ninja already prepared for them. As this was going on though another scream broke their silent stand-off.

Said Genin turned to see Gaara slowly rising to his feet while still holding his slowly healing shoulder. As this happened the Suna Siblings sensei Baki stealth fully charged to break Shikamaru's hold on Temari and Kankuro. However luckily for the young Nara, Haku saw his approach and threw several senbon in his direction. While this slowed his attack it still gave him the needed opening to trip up Shikamaru and force him to release his students.

As he did so Baki called out to them, "Quickly grab Gaara and escape so he can heal and help with the Invasion soon." Hearing his call the two jumped towards their wounded brother and made off with him to the surrounding forests near the arena.

Sadly Baki's brief win was broken by the arrival of Genma and Hayate. Both shinobi blocking him off as Genma turned towards Naruto and shouted, "Hurry follow them and stop whatever their planning Uzumaki, consider this a Field promotion to Chuunin, if only briefly, take whoever you need and capture them!"

Nodding at his command Naruto turns to the girls, "Kin, Shino, Haku you three come with me. Shikamaru head up to the stands and relay the orders to Kakashi or however is up their so if we have any trouble they'll know where we are going. Yugito since you're of another village I can't command you, so it be best if you headed up to your team and get further orders from them."

Nodding a bit sadly at his suggestion and knowing it was out of their hands headed for her team but not before giving Naruto a wink over her should and a few words, "You better not die on me Uzumaki, I still wanna date after this is all over."

Seeing his blush and laughing in her head at Haku and Kin's death glares Yugito headed to where she last saw her team. As Yugito headed out Naruto got control over his blush and turned and lead his team out of the arena and on the trail that the Suna siblings left behind.

As this went on Baki stared with shock and annoyance at the wrench thrown in their plans, he was even more so surprised at seeing Gekko Hayate present. Of course seeing the shock Hayate could only smile as he answered his unasked question, "You know many people seem to forget that while old the Sandaime was called the Professor for a reason. After all with ever none-bloodline or clan specific jutsu mastered you'd be shocked at how many clone jutsu there really are. And you would be surprised at how easy it is to ask to learn one or two from him."(1)

Now realizing he'd been doped Baki attacked with more fervor to try to finish what the two started five weeks ago when Hayate was spotted spying on him and Kabuto.

As the two fought with Genma watching Hayate's back he spotted Sasuke getting back to his feet while field treating his arm. Jumping towards him, whilst still paying attention to Hayate's fight with Baki Genma ready to give orders to the Uchiha.

Seeing Genma land near him he cut off any orders with his own, "What's going on, and where did my opponent go!?" shouted and indignant and pissed Uchiha. Brushing aside his attitude for now Genma replied, "Where currently being attacked by Oto and Suna, I need you to find your sensei and get further orders from him."

However much to his annoyance Sasuke ignored him in return for spotting Naruto and his team jump out of the arena and away from the current battle. Turning towards Genma he instead said, "What about the dobe where's he going?!" Deciding to try to nip this in the butt before they wasted anymore time Genma said, "He has his own orders to follow and so do you so get to them."

Getting a reluctant nod Genma turned back to Hayate's fight with Baki. Seeing a couple of Suna-Nins heading their way Genma jumped towards them to cut them off. As he did this he missed the smirk on Sasuke's face as the Uchiha instead ran towards the wall in the direction Naruto and the others went. His only thoughts being, "I'm sure the dobe's chasing Gaara, which means I can finish our fight and prove my strength by beating him, and getting another step closer to beating that man."

-Arena Roof-

As all this was going on we find the Sandaime Hokage, the supposed Yondaime Kazekage, and the Yondaime Raikage staring each other down on the roof above the now destroyed Kage Box. Or let's redo that it's the Sandaime Hokage and Yondaime Raikage staring down Orochimaru having lost his disguise as the Yondaime Kazekage on the roof of the arena.

Surrounding the three men are four young teens all present in a sealing stance simultaneously holding up a purplish barrier of sorts and quite literally boxing the three men in.

Turning to the Kage level ninja Orochimaru is the first to speak, "I'm quite curious about how you knew it was me sensei." he said in his mocking tone, though if one listened closely could hear the slight annoyance in his voice.

Gaining a small smirk on his face breaking the stoic frowning deposition he briefly had Sarutobi replied, "For all your genius and talent my former student, when it came to Shogi you always where careless with your pawns. In that same aspect you forget those that you treat badly will evidently turn against you or abandon you, such is the case with one Tsuchi Kin who has by now officially broken all ties with your village and joined mine. Alongside that you where foolish to not think I wouldn't find out about Gaara-san. It helps that both Naruto and Jiriaya gave me all the info I needed to prepare with the knowledge a mentally unstable Jinchuuriki was sent to take part in my village exams and the knowledge gained from Kin befriending Naruto you've already lost."

His smirk only grew at the look of rage and annoyance growing on his former star pupil's face.

"It seems I'll have some hunting to do after I'm done with you old man!" shouted a very angry former Sannin member.(2)

Before Sarutobi could fire back a reply, a large mass of muscle stepped up next to him, "While this is mostly all Konoha's problem and it be a bit foolish of me to get involved in any capacity, there's a few small problems that are pushing me to help the old man bury you."

At the Raikage's words whatever sign of a smirk still on the former sensei of Anko's face was gone, going for a chance at gaining an ally he quickly said, "Are you so sure Raikage-san, after all if you aid me there won't be anyone to stop you from gaining a pair of Byakugan for Kumo?"

However the snake man's attempt failed at the A's sudden laughter, "HAHAHA! Are you so confident in your words that I'd help you? You a man who betrayed his own village for immortality and experimented on his own villagers? Not to mentioned most likely killed another Kage to sneak into Konoha? Besides if you were paying attention to my earlier statements during the exams you'd know it was my father's and latter council's want for the Byakugan. Not mine. Besides at this point I'm finding a really good reason to help Sarutobi here. The main reason being that blonde gaki that was able to beat one of my best kunoichi."

Hearing the words of the Raikage, Orochimaru could only frown more whilst thinking "Dammit it seems that Kyubi-gaki has thrown another wrench in my plans. I'll deal with him soon enough."

Seeing his adversaries preparing for battle Orochimaru finally threw away his ill-gotten gain, those being the Kazekage's robes, and set himself up for his last fight with his former sensei.

-Down in the Arena-

Back in the audience area we find Nii Yugito having made it back to her team, seeing both Mabui fighting alongside her sensei and teammates she hurried to join them.

Mabui noticing her approach said, "Yugito-san are you alright?" Hearing the slight worry in her voice Yugito replied, "I'm fine. It seems Naruto-kun had prior knowledge of the attack and had some aid stop the Suna team from attacking those of use in the box."

Those of Team Kumo and Mabui caught the affectionate attachment Yugito added to the Uzumaki's name but with the current situation let it slide...for now.

During Mabui assessment on Yugito, Kirabi turned his focus to the surround stands. Getting a good understanding of how things where playing out and remembering the words given to him by his brother before he sent himself and Mabui to watch over Yugito, Samui, and Karui he turned to relay new orders to his team. "Listen up my precious Genin, I new orders so don't make a scene."

At his words while Mabui and Team Bii kept their faces in a professional expression none could help the sweatdrops at Killer Bee rapping even in such a hostile environment.

Seeing he has their attention whilst defending themselves he continued, "While we don't have and alliance, Big Bro doesn't want use showing Konoha any defiance. So with that in mind, we are gonna cut up some Suna and Oto hinds."

Deciding to get the rest out before Bii continued to rap Mabui spoke up, "Luckily for use the Rai no Kuni Daiymo is nearby the Hi no Kuni Daiymo. With that in mind we can head closer towards them and see if there's any way to offer support for him and any surrounding Konoha-Nin."

Nodding at their superior's orders Team Bii followed the two towards the Daiymo's personal section of the stands.

The five arrived in time for to hear Kakashi relay orders to the surrounding Genin at hearing Shikamaru's words on Naruto's actions in following Gaara. As they reached them Yugito caught the sight of Sasuke head away from the area they we're in towards the wall. She soon realized he was heading in he same direction Naruto went with Haku, Kin, and Shino.

Seeing this Yugito quickly headed towards Kakashi and shouted at him, "What are you thinking!? The Nara already told you Naruto left with three others, why'd you send the Uchiha, who's injured, after him!?"

Shocked at Yugito's sudden appearance as well as the rest of the representatives from Kumo it took the son of the White Fang a moment to realize what she said. When he did he turned to see that she was right in the fact Sasuke was nowhere in sight and immediately said, "I didn't give Sasuke any such orders."

Seeing he seemed generally startled by her words Yugito gathered that the Uchiha may have run off on his own, and looking at the Copy-Nin she guessed he came to the same conclusion as her.

Looking at the remaining rookies Kakashi began giving out orders to them as Kirabi went to aid the Lightning Daiymo's samurai guards, while leaving Mabui in charge of his team.

As Kakashi finished his orders and went to summon one of his ninken, Yugito cut in. "Hold on I'll go instead." At hearing the Kumo kunoichi's statement Mabui was quick to reprimand her, "Yugito you are in no position to request permission to aid in their mission. We were given orders to protect the Daiymo and help in the arena, nothing more."

However, ever the prepared kunoichi, Yugito fired back, "That maybe so but there's several problems with Hatake-san's retrieval team: the first is he's sending off a Nara who's specialty is in capture and teamwork ops which is only best used with a more physically capable Nin, which pinky over there is not." Said Yugito as she pointed at Sakura whilst doing nothing to hide the venom in her voice at the girl's lack of any kunoichi skills. "Secondly as seen from the Uchiha he's very glory driven and arrogant. From the looks of his actions he most likely had orders to come here but instead ran off to fight Gaara even though he has no back-up which is stupid and foolish in a warzone! Finally unlike the Uchiha not only am I in pretty much at 100% while he's still pretty injured he stands no chance against Gaara since Gaara is like me."

Immediately guessing at what Yugito was implying Mabui took a moment before finally deciding, "Okay you can go, but just to be safe I'm sending you with one of my summons."

Nodding at her senpai Mabui quickly went through the required hand seals before biting her thumb and calling out, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!"

At her words a wolf sized cloud of smoke exploded in front of her, with a quick whip of its large wings an intimidating and yet majestic golden eagle spreads its wings as it looks to Mabui for further instructions.

"It's good to see you again Yami-chan, I require your help and backing up Yugito here in a retrieval mission with a likely chance of heavy fighting." Looking briefly at Mabui then to Yugito Yami replied in a royal sounding voice, "Of course Mabui-chan, and it's been a while little Yugi-chan."

Bowing slightly at the large predator Yugito says, "Hai." Before more can be said Mabui grabs Yugito's attention, "Yugito lead Yami after your targets and do what you can. But be safe alright?"

Turning to Mabui and nodding Yugito quickly heads for the nearest wall and, with Yami following her, jumps over the wall towards the forests outside the arena.

Turning back to Samui and Karui Mabui speaks up, alright while Yugito goes to assist Naruto and his team, Kirabi aids the Daiymo's samurai, and Raikage-sama aids the Hokage let's do what we can to aid the remaining Konoha-Nin here by clearing out the arena. Receiving nods from both kunoichi Mabui turns once more towards the area Yugito ran to, "Be safe, imouto-chan."

-Konoha's Surrounding Forests(the following is a modified from Yurei King's 3 Course Shinobi, with his permission)-

Battles, explosions, cries of pain and roaring battle cries, these and more filled the once peaceful streets of Konoha as Naruto, Haku, Kin, and Shino shot across the rooftops. Each of them keeping their eyes focused on the trio moving toward the walls.

"That's them guys," Naruto said, sniffing the air with his enhanced sense of smell. "The scent is pretty strong so it isn't a double."

The girls and Shino nodded,all eyes never leaving their targets. They had a good head start on them but their respective training in chakra control had helped in giving them the needed boost to slowly catch up to the siblings. He saw them slip through the hole the giant snake summon had made, using the beast's attack as a diversion to pass by unseen.

When they made to follow a trio of shinobi bearing the mark of Otogakure noticed the group of Genin and moved to intercept. Not even breaking his stride the blond jumped over the first blow and brought his feet up, bringing his legs down to smash the attacker's face in with his heels and then spring boarding off of him and right past the other two as they fell to a dual senbon assault by the two kunoichi behind him.

He led his impromptu team towards the trail through the wall and into the forest beyond. Following the scent he came to title as Gaara's, the smell of diluted blood and sand, to make sure he stayed on the right track.

-With the Suna Siblings-

"Damn those guys just won't buzz off," Kankuro cursed. He had his brother's arm slung over his shoulder, leaping through the trees with Temari at his side. "I have to get Gaara away from all this," he thought.

Terrified of his brother he maybe, but Kankuro still loved his little brother and had always felt guilty for not being there for him until it was too late.

"Kankuro," his sister's voice broke through his moment of thought and he glanced at the fan-wielding kunoichi to see a burning determination in his eyes. "Get him out of here, I'll stall them."

"Temari wait – "

"There's no time just keep going." Temari spun around, drawing her fan from her back and snapping it open in one fluid movement. "I'll hold them off as long as I can!" With a mighty roar the blonde concentrated her chakra into the fan and brought it sweeping forward, unleashing a wall of bladed wind. "Futon: Kamaitachi no Jutsu!"

The attack sliced into the surrounding trees, leaving deep scars carved into the bark and sending their pursuers flying back as the gale lifted all of them and slammed the team into some trees. As they regained their bearings Temari threw a barrage of kunai around her, an explosive tag tied to each handle.

She'd just thrown her last one when Haku appeared, already finishing the handsigns for a jutsu of her own. "Suiton: Sensatsu Suishō," she shouted, letting loose a massive barrage of water needles.

Temari smirked before flaring her chakra to set off the tags before sending yet another barrage of wind at towards the Hyoton user. Haku was shocked to see her jutsu overtaken with almost no trouble. As the cutting winds came towards her however something else stopped it, in the form of a loud yell of, "SAIREN HIMEI!"(Siren Scream)

The kunoichi fell to one knee, screaming as her eardrums ached. As the jutsu ended she slowly got back to her feet showing signs of still feeling weak from her fight with Kin, Shino's early drain on her chakra, and overloading the wind jutsu she'd used so it could trump any counter attacks had drained her horribly. "I-I've got to get to Gaara," she thought, forcing herself to stand, leaning heavily against her battle fan.

"Not bad," those two words froze the girl right before a she was wrapped in a cocoon of tactical wire. Kin walked out from behind her, her a calm smirk on her face, slightly scared at seeing the former Oto-Nin again. "You almost got us with that last one. However a good ninja always keeps more than one trump card up their sleeve. Why don't you take a break and let us deal with your brothers?"

While she dealt with Temari, Haku turned to Naruto and Shino. "We'll handle her while you to catch up with the other two. we will be along shortly so don't worry Naruto-kun." Seeing he wanted to stay, but knowing the need to get to Gaara quickly he and Shino headed off.

Temari struggled against the wire but she'd tied it in a way that kept her from using her hands at all and coupled with the chakra exhaustion she felt drawing closer she knew she was lost. Bowing her head the kunoichi waited for the end and she barely flinched when the kunai came down. "I'm so sorry, Gaara," she thought, tears streaming down her face.

"What's with the water works?"

The girl's eyes snapped open and she saw a figure standing over her, the small slicing noise she heard was in fact the sound of the ninja wire being cut. "N-Nani?"

"What?," Kin asked with a look of minor confusion on her face. Realizing the situation she stated bemusingly, "We weren't planning to kill you. We only bound you so you didn't stop Naruto-kun and Shino-san from taking off after your brothers. Now that they are gone that's no real problem anymore."

Haku nodded agreeing with Kin and made water clone. "Take her back to the village," she ordered. "We'll head after Naruto-kun."

"Wait," Temari pleaded, grabbing Kin's shoulder. "Please, let me come with you."

"That's not a good idea," she said. "With you in that condition it's probably best you stay back."

"There's two of you so one of you can keep me back. I just…I can't abandon him again." said Temari almost pleadingly.

Haku sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration. "Alright you can come. But you can't make a sound and if either of use decides it's time to clear out you go without a fuss understood?" She nodded and the two leaped off to follow the trail, with Haku carrying Temari.

They continued going until they heard voices. Erring on the side of caution the kunoichi leapt higher into the branches and quietly moved closer. When above the voices they looked down to see Shino and Kankuro were talking. A cloud of insects hovered around each of the Aburame's fists and the Suna genin had his puppet, Karasu, draped over his back and its teeth chattering as it stared lifelessly at the insect user.

"So you really want to take me on again?" Kankuro asked, flicking his fingers to raise the puppet into the air behind him. "I'm not some pushover you can just beat and move on, I have no reason to hold back unlike earlier."

"Of course you're not or I would have no interest in fighting you," Shino answered while calling out even more of his insects. "Besides I realized very early that you where holding back. After all it's easy to spot something one's own self does all the time."

"Huh, I don't know why I'm surprised should have figured something was up during our match." Kankuro chuckled slightly. "I guess in a way I feel kind of honored you'd make me the one to face with no restrictions. So, shall we see if whose specialty lives up to the hype most?"

"Gladly." The two were about to begin when Haku and Kin dropped down between them, Temari still draped on Haku's back.

"Hey guys, mind if we crash the party?" stated Kin.

Kankuro's eyes widened when he saw his sister draped over the back of an enemy's back before narrowing and with a flick of his wrist and Karasu was poised to strike the Yuki survivor.

"Temari? What have you done to her?"

"We beat her clowny what do you think," Kin said, whilst Haku set the Suna kunoichi down. "We beat her and tied her up so Naruto and Shino could catch up with Gaara and you, thought seeing the current situation I guess Gaara is now on his own with Naruto."

"If that was the case then why are you carrying her, unless you wanna use her as a hostage?" questioned Kankuro.

"Then you'd be wrong. We decided to bring her along since she seems adamant on trying to help Gaara. Besides just like me you both have been doped by Orochimaru." The last statement through both Suna-Nin off as she simply shifted on her feet. "I'll explain later, you guys enjoy your spar but don't kill each other. Temari, you're still weak so just sit on the sidelines. We can't take you any farther because I'm sure Naruto is gonna be too busy with your brother to protect anyone."

She turned to leave only for Karasu to land in front of her, its joints chattering threateningly. "You're not going anywhere," Kankuro growled. "I won't let you touch my brother."

"We don't have time for this," Haku mentally growled as she began to take a stance but before she could even touch her senbon Kankuro was forced to dodge a swarm of insects courtesy of Shino. "I believe I already told you that I will be your opponent," the teen said, his voice bearing only a slight tone of annoyance.

Haku and Kin chuckled, nodding in appreciation before turning to continue their pursuit. Any attempt from the puppet user to stop them a second time was countered before it could touch either girl and they managed to vanish into the trees once again.

Within a minute the two caught up with Naruto, having seen him taking a small breather. Before they could say anything Naruto's nose and Haku's chakra sensing picked up multiple signatures heading their way. Knowing they didn't have too much time the three quickly set up a few traps to slow their pursuers.

Sadly they got the jump on them as they planned to head out and ended up nearly surrounded rather quickly.

However in a stroke of luck on shinobi ended up setting off the set traps. Quickly viewing the situation Haku shouted, "Naruto you head after Gaara, leave them to me and Kin!"

Before Naruto could voice any attempt at staying Kin followed up with, "Just go, we'll be fine. But you're the only one that has a true chance at stopping Gaara, so get going!"

Again Naruto showed signs of wanted to stay but some coercive words from Kurama finally got him heading after the Ichibi's container.

Seeing Naruto finally gone the girls ready for a fight. However it took only a minute for the two to realize that the team was just to many for them to handle by themselves. Things however looked up when one of the Oto-Nin voiced out that another and unfamiliar chakra signature was heading their way. Unfortunately that signature turned out to be Uchiha Sasuke's and after briefly seeing the situation continued onwards ignoring Haku and Kin's cry for assistance.

Angry at the Uchiha's disregard for them both girls turned to try to survive their current predicament.

However try as they might both just were not in the best of shape to defeat a more experienced group, whose teamwork was well coordinated enough to counter any unique or powerful jutsu either girl knew. Before long the two found themselves surrounded and could already guess by the gleam in their eyes what the Oto shinobi planned to do with them.

"Hehe, lets show these bitches what happens when you screw with Oto huh?" said the lead nin. Although oddly enough he received no answer from his unit. Turning around he could only look on is horror at seeing his entire team lying dead on the ground. Standing behind them all was none other than Nii Yugito and on her shoulder one Yami.

Before he could try to attack her he felt a slight touch of steel on his throat and knew no more. As he fell it showed Tsuchi Kin with a kunai in hand having slit the bastards throat.

Both girls looked at Yugito before they could thank her, Yami decided to speak, "Save your thanks for later you two, if what I'm sensing is correct the other Jinchuuriki are already fighting some ways away from here.

Getting a confused expression from Kin both Haku quickly gave her a look that said, 'I'll explain later' before the three plus one bird headed off.

-With Naruto-

"I really wanna send Sasuke's ass to hell right now." stated a slightly angry Uzumaki.

Why might he be so mad right now you may ask? Well it might be that not a few seconds ago as Naruto briefly stopped to try to sense how the girls were doing did a certain Uchiha catch up with him.

Sadly the Uchiha wasn't sent as backup and instead did the very last thing one should do in a battlefield, he struck a superior officer and followed up with a brief flash tag, briefly blinding Naruto!

That distraction gave Sasuke enough time to jump past Naruto and head after Gaara himself, all the while saying, "Leave Gaara to me dobe, you'll only get in my way."

So admittedly Naruto have more than enough reason to want to put Sasuke six feet under at this moment in time. Thankfully from what little he could pick up via both smell and chakra sense, Sasuke was getting his arrogant ass kicked by the youngest Sabaku at the moment.

Gaining a small smirk at the imagery that his mind, and Kurama, was giving him mellowed out his anger...if only a little bit.

-With Sasuke and Gaara-

"So Uchiha Sasuke, are you here to help me prove my existence?!" shouted a very rage driven and violent Gaara. Before Sasuke could reply Gaara fully turned towards him, and his eye widened in shock at seeing the Suna-Nin's form. Gone was the large sand gourd he always carried on his back. In its place was a long spiky tail made of sand, while the rest of the sand grew over his formerly damaged arm turning it into a large and scary looking claw. To further drive the point home of Gaara seemingly less than human was the sand covering half his face gave the appearance of some kind of creature, and alongside this was these unknown blue tribal marks running everywhere that sand covered the young shinobi.

To finish this new and admittedly creepy look was his left eye, the same eye that sent chills through Sasuke's body when he saw it within Gaara's sand dome defense back in the arena.

Taking the Uchiha's silence as fear Gaara barked out in his slightly crazed voice, "Are you afraid of me Uchiha Sasuke?! Does my new form frighten you!?"

Regaining his nerve Sasuke replied with his 'I'm better because I'm an Uchiha voice', "Hmph, maybe for a second I was a bit 'freaked out' but only at your disgusting face."

Not deterred at all by the Uchiha's words Gaara only said, "You words say one thing, but your heart says something ENTIRLEY DIFFERENT!"

At Gaara's scream he launched his clawed left arm towards the youngest Uchiha hoping to grab him so as to crush the blood and life from his corpse...only to gain a fist full of bark.

Seeing his opening Sasuke flew through hand seals and called out his jutsu, "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" Seeing the large fireball heading his way Gaara, in a show of incredible speed, retracted his claw and raised it as a shield.

With a loud *Boom* and flash of fire Sasuke landed on a tree while keeping his guard up to see the amount of damage his fireball caused. He didn't have to wait long as Gaara used his massive tail to blow away the smoke and remaining flames to show, much to the Uchiha's shock, no visible damage or burns on the Jinchuuriki's body.

Giving the Sharingan wielder his own confident smirk Gaara raised his arm perpendicular to his chest and then as he swiped it forwards across his chest shouted out, "Suna Shuriken!" and launched a small hail storm of sand shaped shuriken at the Uchiha survivor.

Quickly dodging among the trees Sasuke avoided as many sand projectiles he could. Landing on another tree branch Sasuke prepared another jutsu, only to be stopped mid-hand seal by a giant sand fist from Gaara. Watching his prey crash back first into another large tree, Gaara smirked as he prepared another Suna Shuriken barrage.

Raising his arm up again to fire he brought it down only to be shocked as his attack hit only a, now destroyed, log! Quickly turning to find his supposed prey he didn't need to try to hard as the familiar sound of chirping birds caught his attention.

Looking towards his right he sees the self-entitled Uchiha Avenger falling towards him right hand thrust forward with another Chidori in hand!

Seeing the surprise on his opponents face Sasuke smirked in his arrogant way as he brought his arm to bare, planning on piercing the Jinchuuriki in the heart this time around. Only for his smirk to be removed at seeing his foe smile menacingly at him as sand shot from his back and encased his right arm in a similar claw design as his left!

Before Sasuke could change course or do anything really, he got grabbed by the new claw mid-air and thrown face first into another tree! This time knocking the tree over and straight into another.

Feeling the pain from the slam and his chakra fizzle out Sasuke could only turn himself over as he saw Sabaku no Gaara's form change even more as the sand went from his right arm to covering the rest of his face and all but his legs from the knee down where covered in more hardened sand.

Seeing his prey weakened and assuming unable to stand Gaara barked out a menacing laugh, "Don't you see the difference in our power now Uchiha. Your anger, rage, hatred, and other such emotions are NOTHING compared to my own! And soon I prove my existence to EVERYONE after I not only kill you but more importantly that Uzumaki!"

Hearing how he believed Naruto was a better opponent than him, in Sasuke's own mind; he let his own rage drive his actions and unknowingly partially activated his cursed seal. Feeling the sudden rise in his chakra, yet not pay attention to where it was coming from, the Uchiha began the seals for the Chidori again and charged Gaara down in his brief moment of surprise.

With a shout of his jutsu's name, "Chidori!" Sasuke stabbed Gaara in the chest...only to be shocked at not even getting past the sand armor and at his flesh.

Smirking evilly down at the shocked Uchiha Gaara only had his sand lock the other Genin in place as he spun and at the apex of his spin had the sand release Sasuke as he brought his tail around to smash him into the same tree he was laying against not a few second ago.

Crying out in pain as his back slammed hard against the very strong wood, Sasuke slid down to his side. Looking at the wounded and helpless Uchiha before him Gaara decided he'd spent enough time playing with him and aimed to finish him off.

Using his tail and claws for extra force he launched himself at the Uchiha primed to crush him with his large claws and feel his blood be absorbed into his sand.

"Joker's Hammer!"(3)

At the call of those words Gaara's face was met with two feet giving off a purplish flame color to them.

Sasuke watched as Gaara was sent head fist into a tree several feet away and turned to see the one who saved him. His surprise turned to both shock and slight anger at seeing that it was the class dobe that had saved him.

Slightly turning his head to look at Sasuke, Naruto only said, "Hm, seems I'm the one to save you...again. Maybe this will teach you to possible rely on others a bit more." As he turned to put all his focus on Gaara, he heard a small growl from Sasuke. Smirking Naruto said one last thing before jumping towards the youngest son of the Kazekage, "But then again most likely not."

Landing one a branch across from Gaara's body said Uzumaki shouted out, "I hope that's not all it takes to beat you Gaara! After all it is pretty shameful to be beaten by a single double kick to the face!"

Bring himself back up to his feet Gaara looked at the smirking blonde before him. Growling Gaara replied, "Uzumaki, I'm glad you could join use. I was getting tired of playing with the Uchiha. Now that your here I can kill both of you to prove my worth and existence to everyone in this village before destroying it!"

A brief frown crossed Naruto's face before he grinned confidently, "That's not gonna happen. Unlike you who fights for only yourself and giving blood to your mother and Sasuke who only fights to gain more power and strength for his simple minded goal, I fight for the sake of my most precious people and loved ones."

Growling even more angrily at the blonde for mocking his personal drive, Gaara shouted back, "HA, is that what your reason for fighting!? You're an even bigger fool than I thought! All I ever need to do is fight for me and no one else! And I'll prove this by KILLING YOU!"

At his roar the red head propelled himself at the Konoha shinobi using his arms at a makeshift slingshot. However keeping his cool Naruto dropped down into a crouch, and whilst dodging Gaara's outstretched arms, brought up his right leg and roundhouse kicked Gaara away from him.

Using his tail to grab a tree to stop his impromptu flight Gaara looked at his next prey and grew even angrier at seeing his calm and serious face.

Looking straight into the eyes of Gaara, Naruto raised his hand and while pointing his right index finger at him said, "Saa, omae no tsumi o kazoero!"(4)

Growling at the implications of Naruto's words Gaara brought both arms up and launched a barrage of sand shuriken twice the size of the two he used against Sasuke.

Momentarily surprised at the amount Naruto quickly bailed from his location to further below the foliage to find cover. However he was not fast enough to avoid the entire barrage and ended up slamming left arm first into one of the few fully intact trees in the area.

Biting back the scream of pain on the edge of his tongue Naruto slowly rose to his feet and turned to look at the damage. He quietly let out a breath of relief at seeing no serious injury along the length of his arm; at worst he had several minor scraps and cuts.

Seeing Gaara's approach from higher up in the trees, Naruto slowly flexed his arm to feel for any interior damage, feeling none he quietly hid among the lower branches whilst preparing his next move.

Not a few feet away Sabaku no Gaara came crashing through the multiple branches surrounding him and began searching for his hidden prey. After what felt like several minutes of finding nothing Gaara used his heightened sense of smell, gifted to him from his 'mother' to try to find any blood possible leaking from the Uzumaki.

Within seconds he found his prey to be only a few feet distance from him behind a large tree. Smiling in and almost demonic way Gaara raised his arms up and unleashed a torrent of sand to crush Naruto with.

With a sharp cry of rage Gaara's sand arms blasted around the natural wooden coverage between him and his target, only to meet resistance when he tried to crush the offending obstacle.

As he continued in his vain attempt at destroying the tree he started to notice his sand gain a shine to it. He soon realized why.

From the other side of the sand Naruto had gotten caught, but not like most of Gaara's other victims which he cocooned and then crushed, in this case only Naruto's right arm was ensnared within the sand.

And unlike those before him Naruto didn't have a look of fear on his face, but instead the look of someone who's just got what then wanted.

In this matter what Naruto wanted was the opportunity to destroy Gaara's greatest weapon, and now he had a firm grasp upon it...with Kurama!

With a loud "Kia!" Naruto unleashed Kurama from inside the sand. In mere seconds the powerful sand was turned into fragile glass.

Gaara soon recognized what his foe was doing, but sadly for him it took a second too late. Before he could try to stop or slow the process he already had glass form all the way up to just below his shoulders.

In desperation Gaara used what little reach he had with his tail to smash the glass, separating it from the rest of his sand covered body and jumped several feet away from the now raging inferno that was the tree hiding Naruto from his view.

However unfortunately for Gaara, Naruto planned for this. As Gaara was in mid-air Naruto appeared below him in a move reminiscing of the green clad boy he almost killed two months ago. Although in this case it wasn't a finger placed against his back that he felt but a flaming gauntlet wrapped around the junction between his tail and waist.

With a mighty tug and twist Naruto threw Gaara into the ground, with him landing face first looking almost like an ostrich hiding its face into the ground.

This however wasn't the end of Gaara's pain, with himself caught in this very embarrassing position he soon noticed a pain present on his bottom. What is was, was soon discovered when he heard the distinct yell of "KATSU!" and his world went white.

From their perches in the higher up trees Yugito, Kin, Haku, Yami, Temari, and Sasuke could only look on with shock, surprise, and (in the case of the first three) slight amusement at the large explosion below them. Mind you this didn't stop them all from sweatdropping at the attack, which was nothing more than a glorified asspoke.

Much closer to the explosion Naruto looked on with a still serious and calm expression on his face, whilst on the inside both he and his Bijuu where practically dying from laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe you actually had the balls to do that gaki! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" cried out the fear Kyuubi no Kitsune.

"Hehehehehehehe. I know, but I just could miss the opportunity what with the position he landed in. I don't think I've ever felt happier that my so-called sensei poked me in the ass until right now." was the reply from our blonde hero.

Unknown to Naruto and the rest present Gaara himself was having a discussion with his tenant as well.

"DAMN THAT FOX BASTARD! GAARA I DEMAND YOU RELEASE ME SO THAT I MIGHT CRUSH HIM BENEATH MY FEET!" was the loud roar of the Ichibi no Shukaku.

Not needing to be told twice Gaara slowly got back on his feet and stepped out of the large smokescreen caused from Naruto's explosive tags.

Staring up at his adversary Gaara cried out, "I REFUSE TO LOSE TO THE LIKES OF SOMEONE LIKE YOU UZUMAKI NARUTO!"

His shout was so loud it grabbed the attention of all in the forest even the exhausted forms of Aburame Shino and Sabaku no Kankuro.

In another explosion of smoke, Gaara disappeared into a mini desert worth of sand as it climbed up to above the treetops!

"That doesn't look good." were the words of Kyuubi to Naruto.

Soon the smoke and dust cleared to show Gaara has fully taken Shukaku's form, which for only those that knew or had the position to see would notice Gaara slowly appear on the center of Shukaku's forehead.

With a giant roar from the Bijuu's giant form Gaara entered the last preparations to release the Ichibi.

Watching from his location Naruto readied himself for the second round, whilst catching Kurama say, "Definitely not good!"(5)

Looking down at Naruto Gaara decided to have one last try at killing him by himself first. Raising up Shukaku's arms Gaara went to crush him one last time.

Seeing his stance Naruto wasn't ready for sand to come shooting from under him and slowly encasing him like many before that have fought the youngest son of the Kazekage.

Struggling as much as he could Naruto couldn't seem to break the hold on him, and any attempts at turning the cocoon to glass where failing him as the sand just increased its grip on his right arm.

Quickly running out of options Naruto turned to Kyuubi for any aid, "Kurama we need a plan now I can't turn any of this sand to glass since there's far too much and I don't have enough chakra left to do so, and with the amount of force Gaara has on my right hand I can't try to summon either! So any ideas you got, I could really use right now?!"

Desperately trying to think of a solution Kurama racked his mind for something. Until a plan came to him. "Alright Gaki I got one idea. It's insane, unsafe, and all around stupid, but it's all we got left if we wanna survive this."

As Kurama's told Naruto of his plan, the young blonde's face shifted through multiple emotions: first annoyance, then anger, and finally utter shock! "Your right that does sound completely insane and stupid! What makes you think I'd even wanna try that?!"

Having seen his container's answer coming he replied, "Well we happen to be the only ones between that thing and a village of several thousand some people. So we can either sit here and die, or we work together on this and do something really stupid!"(6)

It was at that moment that Gaara had completely encased Naruto in the sand cocoon, and was just about to finish it with the simple squeeze of his fist when he felt it, a small pulse of chakra. He suddenly felt another much larger pulse of chakra from within the Sabaku Kyū.

Not taking anymore chances Gaara commenced the final squeeze of his jutsu only to not see any signs of his victim's blood soak into his sand, and he soon realized why.

Down below the few in sight saw what Gaara hadn't from his viewpoint, and that being the multiple thin streams of red chakra leaking out of the sand. Soon enough more red chakra leaked forth, until the entire coffin was letting off a deep red glow.

Then abruptly the glow dissipated and the sand returned to it usual color. All was silent for a mere second and then all hell broke loose!

What happened next none thought was possible, as the jutsu exploded from out of nowhere and sent sand flying everywhere!

All present could only watch in interest and shock at seeing Gaara's supposedly personal finishing move fail, one that has till this moment never been broken from at that stage.

Soon the smoke started to thin and everyone began to see the shadowy form of Naruto inside the dust cloud. As it decreased in size a single blood-red eye flashed from still within the heart of the cloud. He was so startled by it he unconsciously had the Shukaku construct take a step back.

Finally the sand remains blew away and showed the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki's appearance, and what a minor but still dramatic change it was. Running up his entire left arm from finger tips to just above the elbow was another gauntlet.

This one was much different as opposed to the right one. For starters this one lacked any real color being a dirty metal grey, and while it was clawed like its brother, it looked far cruder in comparison. Instead of having the triple spikes shooting from the elbow region this one had no such spikes and was basically four segmented pieces of armor going towards the elbow. The last difference was that unlike the perfectly smoothed and well polished orb jewel present in Kurama's right arm, the left's looked more like an uncut misshapen rock resting inside the back-handed part of the armor.(7)

Everyone watching could only gasp in shock at seeing another gauntlet appear on Naruto's arm. Most wondered where it came from and if he had it the entire time.

Looking down at his newest weapon Naruto thought, "Heh, It worked after all aibou(partner)." Said boy's tenant replied, "Of course it worked, while I'll admit I was only hoping for some kind of success, we both know when it comes to general luck you got that in spades. HAHAHA!"

Smirking at his lifelong companion's words Naruto turned his attention towards the towering form of Shukaku and raised his left fist and shouted, "YOU READY FOR ROUND TWO GAARA?"

All he got in return was another loud roar from the Shukaku construct and watched as Gaara prepared his next move. Bringing his hands together to start his next jutsu Naruto smirked viciously, while those nearby could only watch as this clash of demonic titans truly began.

As the two clashing Jinchuuriki looked at each other they saw the effect their respective Bijuu showed in their eyes. Gaara with the golden four pointed star looked at Naruto's blood-red slitted ones. Both only had one thought going through their heads at this point, all though both were morally different, "Only one of us is walking away from this battle on his own power."(8)

CHAPTER END

Now as another heads up I plan to do a slight revamp and update in my past chapters. Such things include: correcting my misspellings, fixing mistakes of many kinds, changing minor sentences and interacts, and other such miscellaneous issues from my past work. I give you this heads-up so your not all upset about seeing my fic updated only to find out there's no new chapter, just a changed old one.

Sorry no Omake this time, nothing seemed to funny in my mind so I just decided to skip it this time around is all. I will however instead for those reading this answer the question most likely on how Naruto got not only his left gauntlet and escaped Gaara's jutsu. The both infact tie-in together so here goes: now as many know Gaara has been basically 'feeding' his sand copious amounts of blood over the years and for those that either know this from science class or watched X-Men 2 one major property on blood is iron. Now what this means is that alongside the element of iron in sand (as learned from the 3rd Kazekage's Iron Sand jutsu's creation) there's plenty in the blood Gaara's absorbed into his sand. Thsi means that while being crushed Naruto used a combination of Kurama's chakra, the vast amount of element iron in Gaara's sand, and the understanding he got from forging the first gauntlet to build the second one, a bit much more crudely.

Now this does not mean it's as powerful or a finished product. Not only has it not been properly treated (via smithing and chakra infusions from Naruto and Kurama) but it also doesn't have any of the sealing arrays that the right arm's does. However it still does work in a fundamentally similar way, it does have Kyuubi's chakra coursing through it as well as a basic design in its unique feature build, just like the first one's. This means it does have a unique power and feature just like the right's which to be clear on is physical manipulation of fire (think similar to fire bending only in physical attacks and as the occasional thrown fireball. What that is you'll have to find out next time, until then later!

1-Now to be clear here, what Hayate stated in general terms is that he was sent to spy on Kabuto by orders from Sarutobi and Ibiki after Kabuto's attack in the hospital earlier. Knowing something is up the Sandaime took the time to teach Hayate a jutsu of his as a backup plan just in case. In this case it was the infamous fanfic created Chi Bunshin/Blood Clone technique; with it Hayate faked his own death to pull one over the Invasion Party. Best part I literally just pulled this idea from my ass whilst typing that scene up. Come on you gotta admit that's impressive.

2-Let's get something straight here; Hanzo gave them the title which literally stands for: Legendary Three Ninjas. Now my reasoning is that since they gained the title because and as a team. None of them entirely qualify being called Sannin anymore, simply because they are no longer The Team of Legendary Ninja anymore. Now you can argue that they are still Legendary Ninja, and I'll agree with that, but the fact remains they got the title from losing and as a team. The fact remains titles are subversive and not always complimentary, look at Naruto's canon title for Jiraiya: Ero-sennin. While they are still Legendary Ninja, they no longer are the three Legendary Ninja, because they no longer work as a Team of Three. At least that's my take on it.

3-Now to understand this move I'll need to give a brief history lesson. Now first off the move was in fact a Missile Dropkick, any wrestling fan worth his salt should recognize this move. Now the name comes from two sources. The move itself was based on Kamen Rider Delta's Rider Kick and Kamen Rider Joker's Rider Kick. Now as it should be made clear I can't have him say Rider Kick, since Naruto doesn't RIDE anything. So I used the Joker name for Naruto's prankster background and used the Hammer part since it was based on Delta's kick, which is a Missile Dropkick in and of it. I hope this cleared some things up.

4-Stands for "Now, count up your sins!" in Japanese. Used by Kamen Rider W/Double as his pre-battle catchphrase.

5-I'll give a cyber cookie to whoever recognized what I was referencing to in Kyuubi's lines here.

6-For those that didn't recognize the line I used a slightly modified version of Hercules Hansen's line from Pacific Rim, namely the one he gives to his son after their Jaeger (ie Giant Robot) got its power cut-off completely. By the way it was an awesome movie, anyone who says otherwise either hasn't seen it yet or doesn't like giant monster and giant robot movies.

7-Best way to describe this is that it's Issei's Twice Critical gauntlet only with the armor also covering his fingers and with no gem near the elbow. Not to mention the different color scheme and glove gem. Also there being no spikes pointed away from the wrist area.

8-What I meant by that line is that while Gaara wishes to KILL Naruto, Naruto wants to temporarily CRIPPLE Gaara. So from a moral stand point it means Naruto wishes to save Gaara from his forced path in life, Gaara just wants to continue down his current path and continuing killing.
