Hello again everyone and welcome to chapter 12 of Bijuu Armors. Now as a quick note before we begin, like every other time, I'd like to inform you all (that are actually reading this since I know several do not) that while I did not in fact update the month of January or February I did in fact update a few of my earlier chapters. Namely chapters 1-4. It also probably didn't help that the last days of the month, starting on the 26th I was to busy stewing in rage over the last matches of WWE's Royal Rumble card.

FUCK the creative, FUCK Triple H, FUCK the McMahon's, and FUCK EVERYONE else in on the crap that happened that night! Here's a heads up McMahon's if your ENTIRE STADIUM AUDIENCE IS ROOTING FOR THE HEEL OVER THE FACE AND BOOING REY FING MYSTERIO, then you should realize SOMETHING YOUR DOING IS VERY BAD….or at least your being far to predictable! Though admittedly Elimination Chamber and recent RAWs and Smackdowns along with NxT ArRival helped to cheer me up some more, so it's not as bad as it could be.

On a happier note, or at least much more positive, part of my delays also can be taken from the (FINAL) release of Pokémon Bank back in February. Then my subsequent next few days transferring over all 'Mons from Black and Black 2. Alongside that I downloaded Ocarina of Time and Fire Emblem: Awakening for my 3DS and enjoyed playing a game that's quite close to my heart (Zelda) and a new one that has enveloped me deeply into its world (Fire Emblem), seeing as the first it was my first system game I played and beat without any aid.

Also it seems the internet and social media demon is back, I am of course speaking about SOPA. And of course because of that authors are up in arms (note my sarcasm here) which means many stories are being or have been updated...only for it to be a stupid AN telling you all about something you've probably already known. Unlike several of my fellow authors I will not waste your time and patience with that crap. I told about it and that's all that's necessary.

So unlike many of those assholes let's get to the damn chapter now huh?!

Chapter 12: Council of Fools/Search for the Namekuji-Hime

-Konoha's Hokage Tower, 2 Hours after Naruto and Jiraiya's departure-

"So let me get this straight: not two hours ago, after my former student and his newest apprentice leave with his assigned nurse and recent defected kunoichi, did not one but two S-Ranked Nuke-Nin entered my village and where able to spend kami knows how many minutes in a restaurant before Hatake Kakashi, Yuuhi Kurenai, and my son Asuma discover them."

After an angry and tired sigh the voice continued on their rant.

"This is followed by the two being confronted to reveal the two to be Hoshigaki Kisame and Uchiha Itachi and both are apparently after Naruto ,who just left an hour before they arrived, and subsequently held the three off including Maito Gai who showed up not a few minutes later and then escaped after sending Kakashi into a comatose state with his Sharingan. And to add to this when Uchiha Sasuke discovers Kakashi's state he is told practically to his face that it was his brother that did it, and he immediately suns off and I'm only hearing now that he left the village without permission to hunt said sibling down. Did I miss anything?!"

For those inside the Hokage office at that moment all present where seeing not the friendly grandfatherly Sandaime Hokage, but the man who earned the name: Kami no Shinobi.

Those present where in fact Sarutobi's former teammates: Homaru and Koharu, Shimura Danzo, Sarutobi Asuma, Yuuhi Kurenai, Mitarashi Anko, Morino Ibiki, a fully recovered Gekko Hayate, several other Jounin, and Konoha's Barrier Team. All present except for the first three had their heads down in shame at their leader's harsh, but true, words.

Looking to Koharu and Homura Sarutobi also said, "You two should be ashamed as well." Seeing they're annoyed and appalled expressions he continued, "It was by your negligence that the Barrier Team not be updated because, oh what was the way you worded it...oh yes, too expensive!"

Seeing them twitch at the accusation and know that they did indeed use those words many years ago after the escape and theft of the Raijin by Rokusho Aoi.(1) Sarutobi moved to have several new features and updates done to the Sealing and Barrier Division but at the site of both the costs and required supplies needed most of the council shot the bill and other factors down quickly.(2)

Seeing Koharu look like she was about to try to defend herself, and at this point not really caring, Sarutobi raised his hand and spoke up again, "Regardless, what I want to know now is why no one stopped Sasuke from leaving the village on some foolhardy quest to kill his brother?"

At his glare Asuma quickly said, "Actually dad, Gai went after him after helping me bring Kakashi to the hospital. With him on the job I don't think we have to worry about Sasuke getting to far."

His glare lessened at his son's words, and knowing that even with his quirks Gai is a stalwart believer in both the 'Will of Fire' and leaving no man behind. Taking a long drag from his pipe to collect his thoughts Hirzuen decided to get back on track and start fixing his village before the return of his second runaway student.

-Random Village several miles out of Konoha-

We now find our blonde hero and his ice wielding nurse looking on as one Tsuchi Kin sleeps in their shared room. Naruto could only feel sadness as he watches on as Kin occasionally flails in her sleep restlessly, knowing that even in her dreams she is feeling pain.

Poor Haku can only look on as her crush watches someone close to him suffer and know that there is nearly nothing he can do to aid her at this moment in time.

Wanting to get the depressed boys thought out of such territory Haku lightly touches Naruto's hand causing said boy to turn his head. At seeing the small smile on her face the blonde gives a small smile his own at feeling Haku's support, no matter how simple it may be.

Before either ninja could start any form of conversation to break the slightly comfortable silence there was a knock at the door.

Releasing Haku's hand Naruto moved to go check and see who it was.

Approaching the door he quickly check to see who it was through the peephole only to see an empty hallway. Annoyed at the assuming prank Naruto turned to sit back on his bed only for to hear another knock at the door. Letting out a breath of annoyance Naruto quickly turned and ripped the door open only to see one of the last things he'd figured to see at his doorstep.

"Finally Bro. You know how long it took me to get here?"

There in the hallway was none other than Gamakichi, son of Gamabunta and young toad summon.(3)

Raising his eyebrow, "Gamakichi what are you doing here?" asked Naruto.

Hopping in to the room as Naruto closed the door said toad jumped and landed on said blondes temporary bed before saying, "I came to deliver a message from Jiraiya. He wanted me to tell you that he's found a reliable source of info on Tsunade's current location and is heading there now before coming back to get you three."

Nodding his head at the small toad's words Naruto replied, "Okay, but one thing. Why didn't you just summon yourself to my location then hop the whole way here?"

At his question the small amphibian blushed embarrassingly as he said, "I haven't gotten down that skill yet…..at least not without another toad's help."

Admittedly at the sound of the embarrassed toad's answer Haku and Naruto couldn't help but giggle a bit.

Quickly trying to save some of his dignity left Gamakichi brought out a small-sized scroll that neither ninja noticed resting on the little guy's back.

At their questioning looks he spoke up, "If you two wouldn't mind, I do have one other thing to bring you while Jiraiya gathers his info on Tsunade."

Raising the scroll up for Naruto to take he continues, "He wanted me to bring you this. He said he sealed in it some things you can use to practice for a little while on. I'm not sure what is in it but he said you'd figure it out."

Taking the scroll from the oldest son of Gamabunta, Naruto swiftly broke the seal on the scroll and unrolled it finding a number of containment seals with orders stated each one's opening requirements. Namely finish the contents of Seal #1 before opening Seal #2 and so on.

Sending a small pulse of chakra into the first seal, the blonde was presented with a small bad full of deflated balloons. Looking at them for a few seconds Naruto soon realized what they meant and ran into the room's bathroom and began filling up the balloons with water.

Curious at what has gotten her not secret crush moving so quickly and with more enthusiasm then he's shown since Kin's has been injured.

Seeing him put his focus into filling up the balloons she decided to voice her curiosity whilst he was working.

"Naruto-kun do you need any help?" she asked.

Looking over his shoulder at Haku as he tied up another water balloon he replied, "No I'm good, though if it isn't too much trouble could you check up on Kin-chan again?"

Nodding at his request Haku walked over to exam Kin to see if her symptoms have changed since last time she was examined.

Gamakichi only watched on as the two went about their business deciding to leave his aniki to his work the little toad hopped over to see about the girl, that was apparently sick, and find out what was going on.

Giving the former Oto Kunoichi another once over with her scanning jutsu that all Medi-Nins are taught Haku saw Gamakichi hop over just outside her peripherals. Seeing his curious glances at the girl she decided to answer his possible questions.

"She's currently down with some form of poison she got stricken with during the invasion. The reason she neither at the Konoha Hospital or already dead is because the one she got struck with in very slow acting and beyond most medic's skill."

Hearing her explanation 'Kichi said, "Wow, is it from one of the snakes from the Hebi Contract?"

Looking at the toad slightly confused she asked, "No, actually we believe that it was transmitted through sound waves since the only time snakes appeared during the Invasion was those summoned to destroy the main gates into Konoha and the ones Orochimaru and Anko used in their jutsu. None of which where anywhere near us during the attack."

Resting his webbed hand on his chin as he thought Gamakichi then spoke up, "What about a poison from Kusanangi?"

Stopping her jutsu, as she found no changes at the time concerning Kin's state, she turned fully to Gamabunta's son and replied, "Yes. In fact Jiraiya-sama believes that one of the Oto-nin we fought during the Invasion used a new type fo poison gained from the Kusanagi that can be injected into someone through sound waves. How we aren't sure yet. Jiraiya believes only Tsunade-sama can find out the method and also heal Kin."(4)

Looking at the girl weirdly Gamakichi replied, "Huh, that's sound really weird. My dad's said the sword has more poisons in it than the entire Hebi Clan does. I've also heard Jiraiya say a few times that Orochimaru has experimented on the sword to copy some of the poisons in the blade to be used by himself or his underlings, so I guess he figured it out."

Hearing this bit of information from the toad Haku did another scan over Kin's heart and major arteries.

'Seeing' small signs of corrosion on her major organs and blood vessels Haku quickly looked at the toad and said, "Sign, and it seems whatever it is, is slowly but surely breaking down and damaging Kin's blood vessels and major arteries. Gamakichi can you head back to Jiraiya and tell him to hurry, if it takes any longer Kin may suffer permanent damage to her body if we don't remove the poison soon."(5)

Giving his aniki's friend a salute he quickly de-summons himself to have someone send him to Jiraiya.

Seeing the toad leave she turns to Naruto and fill him in on her little discovery…..only to get a blast of water straight in her face.

Blinking at the sudden water attack she looks to see Naruto giving her his typical nervous and apologetic look while holding out his right hand palm facing upwards and the remains of one of his water balloons in it.

Quietly wiping away the water from her face and what got in her hair with a towel she looks to see Naruto with another filled balloon in his hand, this time heading for the bathroom.

Wondering what he's doing Haku follows him into the room to see a now shirtless Naruto sitting in the tub while focusing chakra, from what she can sense, into the water balloon…..only to see it flatten like a disk and explode in his face and all over the tub.

Trying, and failing, Haku began to giggle at Naruto's expense. Hearing the slight laughter said boy looked to see the Hyouton user giggling as he sat their wet and annoyed.

Her curiosity even more peaked the girl said, "What exactly are you doing Naruto-kun?"

Knowing she more than likely won't let him go with a simple, 'I tell you later', the blonde grabbed another water balloon and replied, "I'm doing a special Chakra Control Exercise Ero-Sensei told me about during the two month training period."

Raising a delicate eyebrow at his answer she then asked, "I'm guessing by the fact you're doing it now then he only told you about it and not taught you it earlier."

Nodding his head Naruto continued, "Yeah, he told me about it but said I needed only learn the Tree Climbing and Water Walking at the time. He said this training would be for after the exams since then we wouldn't have to worry so much about time constraints…..at least those are his words."

Giving a nod in understanding Haku then asked, "So what exactly are you trying to do?"

Looking towards his friend, at least for now in her mind, Naruto shrugged figuring any help would be useful 'Less extras baths for me the better' he thought.

Showing her the instructions left for him by Jiraiya, that where inside the seal with the balloons, she silently read them as Naruto tried again to complete his task.

Once again though Haku was broken from her reading by another blast of water and an annoyed and cursing Uzumaki. Giggling again at his plight she looked over the, surprisingly dry, instructions and sees what her friends problem.

Grabbing a balloon for herself Haku spoke up, "Naruto I think I know what you're doing wrong here." Holding up her hand with the water balloon in it she places her other on top and begins to explain, "The instructions say to make the balloon explode by moving your chakra in it but it doesn't say much else so as to make you try to figure it out yourself. Kind of like being taught a fighting style but only the basics so you can develop it around your own body and personal ideas."

She then raises the balloon up in-between her hands and makes it shake chaotically for a few seconds before exploding.

Looking at her blonde crush she sees him enter a thinking pose before his eyes widen in surprise before he grabs another water balloon and holds it within his hands before focusing chakra in it and then adding more. Soon the water balloon shakes but doesn't explode.

Staring at the object of his continued ire he soon looks at Haku again and suddenly remembers how she nearly beat him and Sasuke on the bridge in Nami. Getting another look of realization he lessens the chakra output and then instead spins the chakra into multiple rings, and unlike his earlier attempts the water makes numerous bumps in the surface as opposed to just a single one the flattens the balloon.

Within seconds of his water balloon reaching this formation it quickly explodes upon both teen's faces. Before Haku could congratulate Naruto on his success she is scooped up and spun around in a giant hug by the incredibly happy blonde.

Letting her down from his happy high the boy can't keep the large smile from his face before grabbing the scroll and unlocking the next step to work on. In his happy state Naruto didn't notice he left his friend behind in the bathroom frozen still with a large blush covering most of her face with an ever growing smile of her own on said blushing face.

-With Jiraiya-

Jiraiya could not be more happier then he is right now...okay scratched that he could be far more happier if the many fantasies he's had over the years could ever be done. But now he could say he's happy mission wise if only because he finally got a precise and sure location of his wayward teammate.

Smiling at his luck and knowing that the town that she was at present staying in has quite a few, ehem, personal favorite places of interest to the perverted sage he may get lucky while his brief stay there.

Just as he was about to head to the motel he left Naruto, Haku, and Kin at he feels the brief flash of chakra associated with a small summoning. Soon enough a small puff of smoke appears on the sage's head to reveal Gamakichi resting upon said mass of hair that is Jiraiya's mane.

Picking up the little guy from the top of his head Jiraiya quickly asks, "Whats up Gamakichi, you deliver the scroll to Naruto along with my news on our mission?"

Hopping from the Toad Sage's hand to his right shoulder the son of Gamabunta replies, "Yeah delivery done. I also came because of Naruto-aniki's girlfriend had some new stuff on that other girl being sick."

Realizing the, more than likely, seriousness of Haku's new update on Kin's sickness the self-proclaimed Super Pervert gave the young toad all his attention.

Seeing he has the Super Perverts attention Gamakichi retold his conversation with Haku, after hearing everything Jiraiya sent Gamakichi back to Mt. Myoboku as he picked up his pace back to his apprentice and his not girlfriends.

-A Few Hours Later on the Outskirts of Tanzaku Town-

"Alright, finally here guys. Tanzaku Town, Hi no Kuni's most prominent towns next to Konoha and the Capital itself. Although that can mostly be on account of the major tourism the technically city provides." stated Jiraiya as he turned to look at his apprentice and tag along.

Approaching from behind his sensei Naruto looked onward to the town they had discovered the only surviving member of the Senju Clan was at. On said blonde's back was the still in danger Tsuchi Kin, while pulling up the rear was sole surviving Yuki Clan member Haku.

"Your certain she's here right?" asked a still serious and worried Naruto. Receiving a nod the boy began a form of fast walk towards the town to get a room to stay in for the rest of their time here and set Kin down. Watching as his newest student and Haku continue into town Jiraiya headed off to find Tsunade while then got a two rooms for them and let Kin continue to rest as planned on their way to Tanzaku.

Entering the town's main commerical district and heading towards their most largest casino Jiraiya put his game face on, knowing that time was of the essence for both Kin and his old sensei.

-With Naruto a Half-an-Hour Later-

We now find our blonde hero currently finding something to keep himself busy, by words of Haku at least.

-Flashback Half-an-Hour Earlier-

"Her healing isn't going to change with you staring over her all the time or not Naruto-kun. So why not take the time to go out and explore a bit, maybe you'll have some luck and run into Tsunade or that apprentice of hers while you do so."

These were the words of Momochi Yuki Haku as she tried pushing Naruto out of the room they got. Something Naruto was valiantly, yet failing, to stop. Yes for all his strength and power Naruto could not withstand the power of Haku and her orders as his personal nurse, something he's starting to regret agreeing to with her and Old Man Sarutobi with.

Finally getting him into the hallway she said, "Look if something happens I'll come and get you but you have to realize that for what little I can do your not helping by breathing down my neck all the time ok? Now go and enjoy yourself and if possible find Tsunade-sama or her apprentice."

And with those words Haku shut the door in his face before he could try to counter her argument.

-Flashback End-

After some searching and even more wandering Naruto ended up in front of what most know, but not Naruto himself, as the most dangerous casino in Tanzaku. Why it considered such is the not so secret fact that t's run by a 'Family' of sorts with many connections to the underground. Known many ask how such a place can be still in business with something anyone from the youngest child would know? Quite simply they did the most common practice as paying off those that would either investigate them or arrest them. How isn't known but by those in on the deal, so unless they blatantly cause a major issue that reaches the likes of Konoha or the Capital they aren't going anywhere.

But enough history for now, at the moment we find earlier mentioned Uzumaki walking into the establishment after presenting his headband and vest as proof of his rights to gamble. A requirement the owners made so as to not draw anymore unwanted attention.

As he walked around the place looking for his target for the mission the blonde decides to see the fuss over the apparent 'addiction' and 'evils' he was told about gambling by the likes of Jiraiya, Hirzuen, Haku, and Iruka.

After getting a special tokens from an Exchange booth to use on the slots and tables the young Chuunin grabbed the seat of a standard slot machine. Offhandedly noting the warm seat he quickly placed one of the few tokens he purchased, only getting ten under Haku's advisement so as not to loss all of his money, and pulled the lever to see how his luck faired.

However as he watched the wheels spin he was interrupted by a small feminine cough. Turning around he sees a pretty woman with black hair, maybe in her early to late twenties at best, standing in front of him holding onto a small bucket filled a little under halfway with the casino's tokens. Scratching the back of his head the boy says, "Oh, well sorry. I guess that explains why this seat was kind of warm. Well if you could wait a second I just used the machine so once it's done I'll move. Is that okay?"

Before she could reply the two hear the loud noise of the slots chime as it ended its spin. Quickly looking back at the machine he and the apparent former user of the slot watched as he got three red cherries in a row! The two continued to watch silently as the small machine partially spewed forth numerous tokens onto his lap and the floor for what felt like minutes on end.

Soon the small torrent of fake gold stopped and Naruto quickly started collecting his winnings. As he did so the black-haired woman sighed at the apparent ease at which the young blonde won a large amount of money.

Having gathered up all his winnings the blonde turned to the girl and said, "All yours." Only to be frown slightly at her slightly depressed face. "Is something wrong?" he asked.

Just getting a brief sigh the young woman replies, "Oh it's nothing to important...it's just that I've been using this machine for the last hour and used up a most of my money. I've only really used the slots since I'm not very good with the roulette or card tables. Seeing you win with what I caught was your first coin just makes me think I'm not very lucky at this kind of stuff."

Having never liked seeing girls sad Naruto, being the gentleman he is, starts putting most of his coins in her bucket. Surprised at the young man's generosity she asks, "What are you doing? I can't accept this."

Just giving her one of his infectious smiles he says, "It's okay. I don't really need it."

Still taken back by his gift she then says, "I should at least give you something in return, I just wouldn't feel right to take something like this for nothing."

Still smiling Naruto just says, "It's okay. You can just have it." Seeing her still not comfortable with just taking most of his winnings he gets an idea, "Okay how about this. Since I seem to have better luck at this then you in your opinion, why not I use the rest of my coins to till I'm out and give you three quarters of my winnings. In exchange for that you let me take you out to lunch here somewhere. How does that sound?"

A little surprised at his forwardness, but a little touched by his kindness, she counters with, "Okay, only if I pay for lunch and it's half, instead of three-quarters?"

Giving another large smile the young Chuunin puts out his hand, "Deal."

Shaking his hand in agreement Naruto gives her all but his remaining nine coins and begins the process of inserting the coin and pulling the lever all over again.

As the wheels begin to spin again Konoha's King of Pranks offhandedly says, "Oh by the way I'm Naruto."

Hearing him introduce himself the girl replies, "Oh where are my manors, I'm Shizune."

At her name Naruto tries to recall where he has heard it before, only to shrug and focus on the slot machine, "I'm sure I'll remember where I heard that name later." he thought. Out loud he looks out of the corner of his eye and says, "Well nice to meet you Shizune-san."

Finally returning the large smile of Naruto's with her own Shizune says, "Nice to meet you as well Naruto-san."

Both turned back to the slot machine to see he once again got another Jackpot.

-With Jiraiya before Naruto was sent out by Haku-

There are many titles that have been bestowed upon Jiraiya of the Sannin, whether for good or bad. Such ones associated with his summons like The Toad Sage, Sage of Myoboku, and The Gama Sannin. However other aren't quite as flattering such as The Perverted Sage, Ero-Sannin, and his self titled Super Pervert.

But for all of these there is one that most of the time gets forgotten or ignored because of his aforementioned other nicknames, the Spymaster. Yes for all his perverse and goofy mannerisms Jiraiya has been acknowledged by most of the most powerful people in the world as the most cunning and effective spy. Many missions and factors that helped Konoha survive as long as it has been partly thanks to his incredible skill as a spy.

And while many would attribute Konoha's success in the last Great War to Namikaze Minato and his Hirashin, both the deceased Yondaime and aging Sandaime personally know it was largely thanks to Jiraiya's spywork they lasted so long and won many of their battles.

Now we find said skill being proven its true effectiveness and masterful use by said Toad Sage as he secretly spies upon both of his former teammates have a discussion that he had a feeling was bound to happen.

For none other the. Orochimaru himself was trying, and with some success, to persuade Tsunade to heal the numerous injuries he suffered at the hands of their former sensei and the Raikage A.

Alongside both his former friends was also both of their respective companions: fully acknowledged traitor Yakushi Kabuto beside Orochimaru and Kato Shizune only known apprentice of Senju Tsunade and niece to said master's dead lover.

Jiraiya could only look on with a stoic face, though if one looked hard enough they could see the signs of both sadness and annoyance in his eyes. Said feelings being brought on by Tsunade's lack of any care for all the terrible things Orochimaru did not to long ago with his invasion and the near killing of their shared teacher. The annoyance was in her total disregard of her own students words, ones stating at trying to fight and kill the traitors right in front of them.

He was somewhat happy at her all but ignoring Kabuto's words and showing signs of attackign the two, however that went quickly disappeared when she stopped completely at Orochimaru's promise to bring back her two most precious people. The fact she did nothing after Orochimaru told her the jutsu requirement of needing alive sacrifices and that he'd give her seven days to decide was the final nail in the proverbial coffin. The fact she constantly yelled at Shizune, who was only trying to make her realize she's being played, proved what he'd been telling his sensei for years.

"Leaving Tsunade alone for all these years without making any move to make her face reality then running from it has only worsened her attitude and made her far more jaded and selfish then is healthy." thought Jiraiya.

Seeing that the traitorous twosome has left he turned to see both women plus pig leave back into the city's proper. Taking sometime to think over his next course of action he began to carefully shadow the three before deciding on his next course of action.

-30 Minutes Later-

With a great sign of relief Jiraiya moved to carefully intercept Tsunade as she entered a new street. After following the two humans and one pig for close to fifteen minutes he saw them briefly stop by what he figures was their hotel room.

While not outside their room window he could easily hear the quick but loud argument between the two women on the early encounter with Orochimaru. He smiled a little at the loud slamming door noise, knowing that Tsunade left Shizune and Tonton behind to drink herself under a table like she usually does with such emotional memories get revisited, he quickly ran to make sure he had the right opertunity to 'run into her' and try and find out what more he could on her mentality and attachment to Konoha at this point in time.

And not a minute later does said Toad Sage 'accidentally' walk right into Tsunade, whilst using the ever useful 'I'm-to-into-what-I'm-reading-to-notice-where-I'm-walking Trick'.

Not seeing who she ran into at first the Sole Survivor of the Senju Clan prepares to yell at whoever walked into her only to yell for something completely different, "Jiraiya?! What the hell are you doing here?"

Playing up his act said man replies, "Oh Tsunade, what a surprise running into you here."

At his words Tsunade's eyebrow started to twitch angrily, "Don't give me that crap. We both know that when we cross paths, it's because you are looking for me."

Smiling is his goofy-like way Jiraiya said, "Well you got me there, but besides that would you like to get a drink and some lunch? I'll pay."

Eyebrow twitching in even more anger Tsunade yells, "WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO HAVE EVEN A DRINK WITH A LECHEROUS OLD PERVERT LIKE..." Tsunade abruptly calms down and looks at a smiling Jiraiya with slight shock, "Did you say you'd pay?"

Just giving her a small nod he walks up to her and slowly grabs her hand and leads her over to one of the town's more well-known bars.

Tsunade could not even bring herself to remove his hand in her shock. For all of the time she's known Jiraiya he has never payed for someone else's meal...or anything for that matter. It's one of the major reasons he never did well with dates, his perverseness aside, because he would always try (and many times succeed) at pawning off the check on the girl he was dating. This didn't even count the number of times he's done so to herself, Orochimaru, and Sarutobi-sensei. Hell he even got her own grandfather, grand-uncle, and grandmother to pay for things for him...to this day no one has yet to figure out how he got Tobirama to do so.

Turning to look at him briefly she noticed something she hadn't realized in her annoyance and anger earlier, he did not once look towards her chest or even give her his patented lecherous look!

Deciding to see what is really going on, as well as figure out what is seemingly different with her former teammate she allowed him to lead her into a bar and join her for a later lunch.

-1 Hour Later with Naruto and Shizune-

After partially emptying a few slot machines full of tokens Naruto and Shizune decided to leave before they drew too much attention for those in charge and possibly get accused of cheating, even though neither did so.

Having cashed in all of Naruto's winnings Shizune was incredibly happy with the results and neither could stop smiling at their success. Shizune in particular since she had double checked and learned she had just enough to payoff most of Tsunade's accumulated debts in Hi no Kuni as well as a few other areas she went to in her years away from Konoha.

Turning to her newest companion she couldn't help but smile a bit more at not only his lack of selfishness but also is humble attitude, she was quite certain anyone else would have asked for any number of collateral or favors in return for the hefty donation. Many of which she wouldn't doubt be quite perverted or malicious. Thankfully Naruto had no such requests just helping seemed like enough to him, though having a pseudo-date with him could be considered similar. Gratefully coming from someone younger and one that didn't think with his lower head made her far more at ease and just focus on enjoying the short time with the goofy blonde.

Approaching the bar the two both heard the tell tale noises of their respective sensei, along with gaining a large sweatdrop at their rather loud drunken speech. With a duo sigh the two entered the establishment to see their, now slightly drunk, senseis seating next to each other. This was odd in the fact in Tsunade's case she only ever drank either alone or with Shizune, where as in the case with Jiraiya he only ever drank (for what short amount of time Naruto knew the man) with either Sarutobi-jiji or women you had to pay to spend time with you.

Before the two could speak though it seemed their individual sensei's spotted them.

"Hey Tsunade it seems are fellow students ran into each other! HAHAHA! What are the odds huh?! said the Toad Sage none to quietly.

Giving Jiraiya a drunken smirk she replied, "So that's the new blonde kid your teaching. At least this one doesn't look as girly as the last one did! HAHAHAHA!"

As the two continued on both students tried to hide their growing blushes of embarrassment at their teacher's actions and words, though they each turned to the other and gave the other a tired smile. "Heh, I guess I'm not the only one with an embarrassing sensei it seems." stated Shizune.

Getting a small laugh in return Naruto answered, "Guess not, small world."

Walking over to their teachers the two sat on the other side of the booth the two drunken Sannin were sitting at only to be instantly pressured into joining them for a drink. Something both where quick to push away.

Remembering of her early happiness Shizune quickly spoke up to get her teacher's attention, "Oh Tsunade-sama by the way I'm happy to state we should be good for quite some time now in regards to any of your debt collectors. Thanks to Naruto-san here I've gained enough money to payoff nearly all of the ones you've gained here in Hi no Kuni. Isn't that great!?"

For a moment it seemed like Tsunade didn't hear what Shizune said, only for her eyes to expand and turn her head ever so slowly to look at her apprentice and the boy next to her. "Are you telling me that you where able to collect over five million ryou in debt?"

Not looking up from his book, that no one noticed he had until now, Naruto said, "Yeah, I don't know if it was because I was lucky or that machine was broken but I just kept getting jackpot after jackpot on it till I used up all ten of my tokens."

At the realization of his words Tsunade instantly stood up and pointed at Naruto with more shock and surprise on her face then any Shizune had seen in years, "YOU GOT TEN JACKPOTS IN A ROW ON THE SAME SLOT MACHINE!"

At her yelling Naruto ended up throwing his book up in the air, which led to it cracking Shizune on the head, and looked on eyes wide as the granddaughter of the Shodaime grabbed him by his collar and brought him very close to her face. "How the hell did you do it?! And what do you want in return?!"

At the last sentence she turned he head to stare at Jiraiya, no longer either looking as drunk as they did a few seconds ago.

Before Jiraiya could say anything Naruto himself said, "I didn't want anything. In fact it was Shizune that felt she couldn't just let me give her the money for nothing. That's why we are here now, she felt having a...um what was the word you used Shizune?"

Slowly raising from her seat and having Tsunade release Naruto she replied, "Pseudo-date Naruto-san. I figured him being so nice I could at the least use some of the money to pay for lunch for the two of us. Nothing else Tsunade-sama." As she had her sensei let go of the blonde she gave a rare glare to her mentor, "Besides it's a far nicer and better thing to do then what you would have done, which is either waste it all and hope to get more money or use it up to get drunk again."

Faltering at her apprentices harsh words and glare Tsunade sat back down, only to turn her gaze back on Jiraiya, "Okay fine putting this aside why are you really here for baka."

Waving off her insult said Toad Sage replied, "I'm here to bring you, Shizune, and Tonton back to Konoha. And before you say anything let me first inform you that this is a direct order from both our former sensei and current Hokage and me your direct superior since unlike you I'm still an active member of the ninja forces and you haven't done next to anything officially by the Hokage or village in over fifteen years."

Grimacing at his tone and words Tsunade knew there wasn't much she could do to get out of them, well shy of ignoring them and mor then likely being marked a Nuke-Nin and making Shizune pick between her and said position or her loyalty to her home.

However before more could be said the doors to the establishment burst open as a frantic and visibly upset Haku entered. After looking around in a hectic manner, she finally noticed both Naruto and Jiraiya sitting in a booth with two unknown women. Running over to their table she quickly grabbed Naruto and started shaking him whilst trying to get him to follow her out of the bar.

In her desperation to remove him she spoke, unfortunately her words came out in such a distressed voice none at the table could make heads or tails of what she was trying to say.

Finally having enough Naruto grabbed both of the girl's shoulders and started to lightly shake her and speak, "HAKU! You need to calm down, I can't understand anything your saying."

At his words the survivor of the Yuki Clan took a deep breathe...then grabbed Naruto's shoulders and yelled, "KIN'S DYING!"

For a second the words did not register in Naruto's mind, but after a few seconds after he heard this his eyes widened and he fully understood the impact of her words. At his realization he quickly turned to Jiraiya only to see him already in action. "Gaki quickly grab Shizune and bring her to our room, I'll tell Tsunade everything on the way there, you just have Shizune help stabilize her in the mean time got it?!"

Nodding at his master's words he quickly grabbed Shizune's hands and led her out of the bar with Haku leading the way. Following the trio at a slower pace Jiraiya had Tsunade follow him as he informed them of their other reason for finding her.

Whilst this was going on one Tsuchi Kin could be found shaking horribly as if suffering from a terrible seizure. Blood tears slowly running down her eyes whilst a small, but noticeable tickle of blood came from her mouth. All that she could think in her pain addled mind was, "Please someone help me."

Kami I feel so bad for missing two months in a row. I will say that I apologies for breaking my word on doing a chapter a month, man it makes me feel so annoyed that I couldn't keep that promise. I will say I'm glad for the reviews and support and will say this much: I swear I will do my up most best to keep this from happening again. Now I can't promise that there will be months where no chapter is released. But I will keep my promise of ALWAYS releasing a 5k chapter ever time. There is no way I will fail that one no matter what, mostly cause I hate chapters that are too short, without just cause and reasoning.

Also as you can see I ended up making quite a bit of interaction between Naruto and Shizune, so if anyone feels that adding her to the Harem is a good idea let me know with some well thought out reviews. And I mean actually well thought out, like ones stating clear and conscious reasoning and plot points or such. If I get enough I'll figure out how to work her in but I want some good and clever excuses from you the readers to do so, so if you want her in give me reasons I can't refute or say no to.

1-This may or may not be used later on. Don't put much thought into whether I'll use that Filler Arc or not. Since I'm not very sure I'll use it myself.

2-Let's face it, if Koharu was quick to shut down Tsunade's Medic-Nin program because of costs then I would not put it past her and the other two to shoot down other ideas because they 'cost to much', face it Government and Business are attached at the hip so to speak. If someone in power can find a much cheaper way to solve a problem that doesn't require much or any of their own funds they will freakin do it. Also remember ROOT may make plenty of funds from their illegal missions but let's be honest with the size of his facility and the number of men he is shown to have, not to mention the few clan members he is shown with I highly doubt Danzo would waste any of his own money and instead use someone else's instead. That's how illegal organizations work 90% of the time. By my assumptions at least.

3-Hehehe…I do believe I may have just trolled some of you. Heh did you all honestly think I would follow canon or everyone else who gets to this part and do the same damn thing with Itachi and Kisame visiting Naruto? Do remember that this time around they went after Tsunade via riding Gamabunta, gonna get a hell of a lot further then by walking on foot.

4-Just to be clear here Hiruzen has kept the knowledge that he ad A stripped the sword from Orochimaru during the Invasion a secret. Better that none find out unless he wants to worry about someone (like Danzo) stealing it from under his nose like Aoi and Idate did with the Raijin.

5-I say this now. I know VERY little in the ways of medicine and poisons. What little I know is insignificant crap from SCRUBS, House, and M*A*S*H and that's it. Don't come to me with all your 'impressive' medical knowledge cause guess what, this isn't a real world nor is it comparable to OUR kind of modern medicine. They have access to an energy source in their bodies gifted to them from a single woman eating a mystical fruit and can breathe fire and other superhuman shit because of that. So to me that makes them more like evolved humans like mutants in X-Men are.
