AN- Hey guys, sorry for not updating. I feel bad, but here it is. So enjoy!
Chapter 11-
"So are you going to the game tomorrow?" Antonio asks, shoving a forkful of noodles into his mouth.
"Game? What game?"
He slurps the noodle that is hanging on his bottom lip. "The football game. You know, the homecoming game that welcomes everyone back."
I throw my head back, letting it rest against the headboard. "Ha, fuck no."
"Why not?" He questions with sadness in his voice.
I bring my head back forth again, "Because... That sport shouldn't even be named football! These stupid Americans stole it from us Europeans. If they wanted to name the sport then they should of named it, oh I don't know maybe something like, 'Hey Look I'm Throwing An Oddly Shaped Ball Through a Weird U-Shaped Goal'!"
Antonio laughs uncontrollably and tries to control himself before he spilled his noodle cup.
Sometimes I wonder if he's... special.
"Oh come on Lovino, you should go. Matthew is going because Alfred is playing."
"Yeah, but I hate Alfred so no." Honestly, that American is so annoying and full of himself. I can't stand him.
"Well at least you're going to the dance."
I mutter a low 'tsk' under my breath and avoid those green eyes. Why is Antonio so damn excited about this dance?
"Hey Lovino."
"What?" I can hear Antonio move around on his bed.
"What would of happened if that girl wasn't taken?"
My eyes glance back at Antonio. So he was thinking about that too?
"What if she said yes?" He lowers his head and a few strands of hair fall over his eyes.
To tell you the truth, I also had that question in mind.
"Antonio," he doesn't look up. "Antonio, I would have told her the truth."
This brings Antonio's attention back to me.
"I would apologize and explain to her what was going on."
The bastard nods his head, "But Lovi..."
I let the nickname slide just this one time.
"Wouldn't you rather go with a girl than with me? I wouldn't mind if went with her because we're not..." He bites his lip. "You know."
I take a deep breath. Of course I rather go with a pretty girl, but... "We're friends, and friends don't leave each other."
Fuck.
"Friends huh?" Antonio smiles. "That's good to hear Lovino."
"Yeah I guess. Just be thankful I'm not trading you for some random girl!"
Antonio chuckles, "Don't worry, I am thankful." He smiles real sincere, and I cannot help but scowl. "Oh Lovino, your cheeks look chubby! I wanna pinch one!" Antonio brought his hand forth and began "pinching" my cheeks.
The thing is, his fingers are actually pinching his laptop screen.
"You are an idiot."
Antonio and I have been video chatting for the past few days. When I went to his house on Monday he asked if I had a Skype account. I told him I did and did not realize the huge mistake I made. We video chatted on Tuesday and it was awkward!
Okay it was awkward for me. Antonio on the other hand seemed pretty comfortable. To make our conversation worse, we usually ended up disconnecting from each other out of the blue.
Like yesterday night, Antonio's laptop shut off because he forgot to charge it. Then there are our siblings who tend to walk in without permission. Romeo barged in my room, looking for a video game and ended up listening to our conversation before I even noticed.
Antonio's siblings are worse though! They actually ambush Antonio and begin video chatting with me!
The best part is seeing Antonio pouting in the background, trying to get his laptop back and his innocent green eyes growing watery and-
"Lovino are you... smiling?"
I glare directly at the screen, "What!?"
"Ah Lovi you are smiling." Antonio chuckles.
Ugh! I do not smile, this bastard must be seeing things.
"Now your face is all red Lovi."
Yes, red with anger.
"You look like a tomato! Que lindo!"
"Did you just call me a tomato!?" Of all things, a tomato!
"Si, and-"
"Antonio, venga a lavar los platos!" Calls out a voice from the distance and I recognize it as his mother's.
"I have to go Lovi. I'll see you tomorrow tomate."
Did he just...? "Wait!"
The bastard winks at me and his Skype closes. I sit on my bed, staring at my laptop. That asshole! Who gave him the right to call me a tomato!?
Che palle...
"Passing by you light up my darkest skies
You take only seconds to draw me in
So be mine and your innocence I will consume"
Fuck...
Last night I was listening to this song, it is called 'Dark Shines' by Muse. I quite enjoy this song and it's meaningful lyrics. But now those three lines are stuck in my head and... and they remind me of Antonio! For some god awful reason Antonio pops in my head whenever I hear those lyrics. Thanks for ruining a great song bastard.

"And then I asked if she likes pasta and she said yes! So I asked if they make pasta where she's from and she said she didn't know."
Does his mouth ever stop running?
"She has to ask her big brother first, but she said that he'll mostly likely say yes."
No it does not.
"That's nice Feli, glad you like this girl. What's her name again?"
"Lili, she's in my English class."
Feliciano got a date to the dance and she's a girl, a cute girl too. It did not surprise me when he came home yesterday and started bragging that he got a date. Everyone in this damn school loves my brother, surely anyone would agree to go with him.
"And what about you Lovino?" My grandfather nudges me with his shoulder.
"Hm?" I look up from my cellphone, one message from Antonio. "Oh uh, I might ask this girl in my history class." Lies...
"Well then you better ask her before some other boy does." Nonno does not know that Antonio is taking me and I do not plan on telling him either. "Remember, God didn't give you those looks just because."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, he gave us Italians the 'charm' to attract beautiful women. I know the story Nonno."
Nonno stops the car, "Good. Every Italian man does." He turns towards Feliciano. "I'll be picking you up after the game." Then back to me. "Stop mumbling in Italian, teachers don't like that."
I release a 'huff' and place my hand on the door handle, "Quei bastardi possono andare a succhiare il cazzo di quel che mi!" And with that I storm out of the car.
-Walking Down the Campus-
"Ve~ Lovino wait!" Feliciano's shoe scrapped against the ground and I can tell he was running to catch up with me. And when he does catch up, the first thing he says is, "I know a secret."
"And what that might be fratello?"
He giggles like the little girl is and replies with, "I know Big Brother Tonio is taking you to the dance."
I freeze. My hand slowly clutches the side of my purple pants. "Big... Brother.. Tonio? Who the hell is Big Brother Tonio!?"
"Silly fratello, Big Brother Tonio is obviously Antonio!"
"An- Antonio!? What the hell!? Why!?"
Feliciano begins to rock back and forth on the heels of his feet. "Well, he said to call him Tonio and... he's like a big brother to me so... so now he's Big Brother... Tonio."
I open my mouth, but then close it when words won't come out. "Goodbye Feli." I continue to walk, shoving my hands in my pockets.
Big Brother Antonio. You have got to be kidding me! I do not know who I am more mad at, Antonio or Feliciano. And speaking of that Spaniard, I need a word with him. Who does he think he is calling me 'tomate'!? I just want to punch him in the face!

As I enter homeroom, the first thing I hear is, "Hey watch out!"
And without even thinking, I am able to jerk my head away and miss whatever is about to hit me.
"Alfred Jones!" Ms. Rodriguez shouts. Her voice brings me back to reality and I blink in confusion. "We do not throw footballs in class. You can hurt someone!" The teacher faces me and sighs. "You're not hurt, right Lovino?"
I clench my teeth together. It had to be Alfred, didn't it? "No Ms. Rodriguez, I'm fine."
"Good. Please go take your seat. Alfred come to my desk, I'd like to have a word with you."
Alfred groans and heads towards the teacher's desk. I walk back to my own seat and hear Alfred cry out, "But heroes never get detention!"
I take my seat and-
"Bonjour Lovino."
"Keseseses, hallo es Italienisch Gore."
First my toast gets burnt, then Nonno gives me a 'lecture', I almost get hit with a football, and now some perverts are talking to me. I have to say, this has been a good morning.
Ha, who am I kidding? This has been a terrible morning!
"Good morning tomate." Coos an annoying Spaniard.
With my unforgettable scowl, I turn towards the boy on my left. "Stop calling me that! I never said you could call me that!"
"You're right, but you call me 'tomato bastard' and I never gave you permission to call me that."
I almost slap myself, he's right. "I guess we're even then."
He grins and shakes his head, which causes his hair to flap. "I'm excited about tomorrow."
The blonde in front of Antonio turns around and chuckles. "Ohnohono, I cannot wait til after the party."
"How come Francis?" Antonio asks.
Frenchie is about to answer when Gilbert cuts in. "Come on Tonio, you don't wanna know."
"Why not?" He asks again. I roll my eyes and make a quiet gagging sound.
Francis wiggles his eyebrows, "Oh Antonio, you really are clueless."
"More like brainless," I snicker.
"Like I was saying," continues Francis. "After the dance, Angelique and I are gonna go... Hm, how do I put this?"
"Bang. You're gonna bang her."
The pervert smiles real wide, "Yes exactly that! Thank you Lovino."
Antonio says a silent 'Oh" and Gilbert shakes his head in disbelief. Seriously, these guys have some issues.
