It was the next morning in Konoha and the member that made up team 7 were each waking and preparing for there mission. Naruto's performance and Sasuke's confession yesterday made all of the members think differently about their teammates.

With Sasuke

The Uchiha Compound was a dark place full of bad memories for Sasuke even though he didn't leave because it was the only home he knew and the only place he had the comforts of his family. Family that word had cause the young shinobi to stumble and his mind to wonder back to his blonde teammate whose song seemed to be directed towards him and Naruto. The song Naruto performed last night had struck a chord with the young uchiha, that along with the voice from his dream had made sasuke do some soul searching last night. The results stunned him hey had to let go of his hate for Itachi, still kill him of course, but let other people in so they can help him and he can help them. With this in mind Sasuke packe three extra scrolls this morning and then his mission essentals and headed out the door. Before he left the compound one last thought passed through his mind "" I cant believe I kissed Sakura ""

With Sakura

Sakura woke up in an estastic mode, not only had she and Sasuke kissed but she was much stronger than she was before the events yesterday. The events of yesterday made Sakura realize that she had been so busy flaunting over Sasuke she had completely negated her training. So she went home to find something that would make her better that she was before and even she couldn't believe what she found. The Haruno's were actually a famous ninja clan at one point in history. They were famed because of their training techniques called Mind Training in which one could practice jutsu, work on their reserves basically anything except working on physical conditioning because of the fact they are training in their mind. Sakura spent most of the night focusing on her training and she wielded results. Her chakra capacity was no longer that of a civilian but now closer to mid to high gennin, she went through her families library to find that there were several scrolls of d-ranked jutsus for every element and also a stack of chakra paper that told the user their elemental affinity. After finding out she had an earth and lightning she practiced on the scrolls for those elements. This continued for some time then she went on to find the basics of sealing and was able to seal the chakra paper along with the jutsu scrolls in order to share with her team. She smiled as she wouldn't be a walking encyclopedia as Sasuke had put it but instead a valued member of the team. Saying goodbye to her parents she ran to the training ground determined to help her team in the future.

With Naruto

Naruto woke up feeling lighter than he could remember. Sasuke's words yesterday and the venting session had really allowed the blonde to breathe easier put that with the fact that his whole team showed up at his performance he smiled even brighter. Naruto got out of bed and looked around his apartment before he notices something was off. On his table were three scrolls, with caution he approach the table and picked up the scrolls. The middle scroll contain the kanji for Chakra Chains and how to use them, intrigued by the title he attempted to open the scroll but it wouldn't budge he looked and saw a note where the scroll has laid. Reading the note he had found that only someone of the with the DNA of the uzumaki could open the scroll and he had to place blood on the seal. Taking a kunai and making a puncture wound on his finger he touché the scroll and thanked kami that the scroll had opened. Reading the scroll fascinated naruto as he couldn't wait to see a how to use the chains, though he nearly facepalmed at the simplicity of how to activate the chains. According to the scroll one must simply have knowledge about the chains and concentrate. Chuckling he looked down at his palm and focused intently only to nearly impale himself as a five link long chain shot out of his palm. Smiling Naruto looked at the time only to gasp he needed to get to the training ground to meet with his team. So like lightning he packe mission essentials and the other scrolls. When finished he was about to walk by the table and out the door when he glanced at the note. Suddenly he froze as he looked at the handwriting on the note and noticed it look similar. Straining to think back to where he may of seen handwriting before he nearly gasp because he had seen handwriting like this in the chuunin exams when Hinata let him look at her test. Glancing at the clock again he put that to the back of his mind as he ran toward the training grounds.

All three ninja appeared at the training ground at the same time and greeted each other with a smile and a nod.

Sasuke suddenly called Naruto and Sakura over to where he was and pulled out two scrolls.

"Ne, what's up with the scroll?" Naruto asked hoping hinata didn't give a scroll to his teammates

"Yea, what's up Sasuke?" Sakura mimicked

With a sigh Sasuke began "These scrolls are two C-ranked techniques that I thought would be helpful for you two." As he spoke he handed each the scroll and they eagerly opened it.

Naruto gasped as he read the name of his technique

Fuuton: Cyclone no Jutsu

The user of said technique will be able to shoot a weak tornado force wind at any opponent. A great compliment to Any fire style technique.

Sakura had a similar reaction

Doton: Sand storm no Jutsu

User stomps on the ground in order to erect a wall of earth. Great for defense

"Sorry for only bringing one for each of you" said Sasuke "but I don't know you elemental affinities"

Looking up at this Sakura remembers that she has the chakra papers in her bag and calls out to her team. "Guys I have some Jutsu scrolls and Chakra Paper we can use in order to find out our affinities" Sakura said as she look at the two boys on her team for a reaction and is not disappointed. Sasuke has a look of surprise and adoration on his face. While Naruto, has a look of total shock on his face. Basking in acceptance from her team she digs in the pouch and produces a stack of thin sheets of paper. "Ok" she says in an teacher voice "You simply channel chakra in to the paper and you will get a reaction based on the affinity you have. If you have Fire the paper will burn, Water the paper will get soggy, earth the paper will turn to dust, Wind the paper will get cut to pieces and lightning the paper will crinkle." She explained while demonstrating. The boys watched as her paper turned to dust and then crumbled further. Excited about learning their element Naruto and Sasuke channeled their Chakra into the paper and were surprised by the results. Sasuke paper caught on fire and then was doused by water. While Naruto paper was cut in two and on one side his paper caught on fire while the other one crinkled.

They were so entranced by the results they didn't ssee Kakashi and therefore was surprised by the low whistle of shock form their sensei. "Thank you Sakura, you don't know how easy you just made my job" said Kakashi with a smirk in his eye. "Even though I'm sure that we will get even more help from the jutsu scrolls as well as NAruto if there he has anything he would like to share. We do have a mission to complete so please follow me" said the oddly energetic jounin, as he walked away and towards the gate.

Team 7 looked at each other and nodded while following there sensie. Completely unaware that they are walking a path to either be the Greatest ninja team ever or to be the last ninja team ever.
