Chapter 8: There's no choice
Harry pov: She...she ...she walks! And she talks, that guy must hit me on the head preety badly, I looked at the little purple gnome who was smiling at me as I was trying to keep a cool head. Her voice, I've heard before, but I can't remember where...
'Are you ok?' she asked concerned looking at me
'Uhhh...' I stuttered, I just nodded
'Your hurt' she pointed out, I looked at my reflection in the water and saw I had some cuts and bruises all over my face, my clothes were ripped a little and my head was throbbing, so much in fact I was looking at a talking Gnome!
'Ow!' I rubbed my head in pain
'Here, let me help you' she climbed up to my shoulder and cleaned the blood off my head, I was so scared I couldn't move, so I let her heal me, when she finished she back flipped to the ground
'Wow, that was Preety cool' I smiled
'Thanks I try' she gloated as I kept smiling, I felt less scared of her now, I felt that my head was a bit better thanks to her, I smiled again at her
'Thank you' I smiled
'Oh don't worry about it' she blushed, it was kinda cute when she blushed, I felt my cheeks go pink a little
'Sorry who are you?' I asked
'Oh where are my manners? My name is Rosemary Bleberry, but you can call me Mimi' she cirtsied
'Mimi, that's a cute name' I smiled as she blushed once again, I swear she was really cute, call me crazy that I think a gnome is so adorable
'And you are...?' she asked
'Oh uhh...Harry' I smiled
'Potter?' she giggled as I chuckled
'I get that a lot, which is stupid cause I don't even look like him' I laughed
'Of course not your far too cute' she said and covered her mouth from embarrassment
'You really think so?'
'Ye I do'
'Thanks, your kinda cute too' I smiled, I couldn't help but stair at her deep blue eyes again, if she was my size than maybe I would have found my girl. Sadly not.
'Sooo...Your not...scared of me?' she asked nervously, I looked at her from head to toe, but mostly at her face, she was very beautiful for a gnome, I mean...really beautiful.
'No...'I'm not' I smiled as she did, suddenly I felt very very dizzy, my vision began to blur as I fell back unconscious, the last thing I saw was small red and blue objects around but I couldn't make out what they were, then I officially let sleep take me. Little did I know what was about to happen to me.
Mimi pov: He's not scared of me! I was so happy now I can talk to him all the time, I don't know why but every time he compliments me I blush like crazy! Just when it was going great, he passed out to the ground as I ran to his aid, then I saw everyone in the garden circle us and gave disappointed looks, mum and dad looked more furious than sad.
'What did you do to him?!' I asked worrying like crazy
'Don't worry, I just put him to sleep, he'll be fine' grandma explained, then mum and dad walked up to me, looking very mad.
'MIMI! DO YOU REALISE WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!' Dad yelled in my face
'What?' I asked nervously
'He knows about us! They must never know about us!'
'BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY!' I yelled back 'It's not like I hurt anybody'
'You've hurt us' Mum said sadly
'What?' I asked
'Mimi, we can't trust him to keep our secret, we barley know him so...' I cut her off
'But I know him! I trust him' I said confidently
'But you barley know him' Mum said
'But...but...' Dad cut me off
'You left us No choice Mimi' he said sadly
'What do you mean?' I said worrying
'We have to kill him!' Tybalt said and grabbed a rock and about to through it on Harry's head
'WHAT?!' I screamed
'That's not what we're doing you fool' Mum said and hit him across the head as he dropped the rock on his foot and yelled in pain.
'So what are we going to do?' I asked
'Well...' grandma said emerging from the crowd, 'this technique hasn't been used for a while, not since the last gnome exposed themselves into the human world, but it should do the trick' she said
'What are talking about' I asked confused
'I'm talking about this' and the next thing I knew, she used her trowel and began using magic! I know grandma had magic since she was born so I wasn't so surprised, she began to create a large white bubble in the air that moved down over Harry's body, I couldn't see him because of the light, the light suddenly went a whole lot brighter as we all averted our eyes from the scene, once the light died down, the bubble went a lot smaller, I looked at the sight and I couldn't believe what has happened,
He's...he's...He's A Gnome!
I looked at him and saw he wore purple just like me! And he still looked the same as a human, he was still asleep but I could see he was a bit over my head, he wore a dark purple jacket, light purple shirt, black jeans and black and white sneakers. He looked...very very handsome, but I was still concerned.
'Why did you do that?!' I asked worried still
'He can never tell anyone about us, so he has to be one of us' Mum explained
'There's no choice in the matter' Dad said
'But we can't do this to him!' I said
'Why, he'll fit right in' Benny smiled
'That's not the point!' I said annoyed
'Honey we have to do this' Mum said
'But he has a life! He's got friends and family, and school. Plus what happens when the capulets come home and find their grandson missing?!' I asked concerned
'You should have thought of that when you started singing to him' Dad said sternly
'I didn't think you would do something bad to him! Let alone being turned into a Gnome!' I snapped
'That's how it's meant to be now' Mum said, now I felt awful of how he's supposed to spend the rest of his life away from his human world, he shivered in his sleep as I thought that was kinda cute.
'Ladies and gentlegnomes, we have a new arrival in our garden, I'd like you all to meet our newest member...ummm...'what's his name?' Grandpa asked me
'Harry, his names Harry' I said, his name was so cute too.
'Everyone make Harry feel welcome when he comes around' he pointed at the unconscious boy.
'The poor kid is freezing, tybalt, fawn help me get him inside the shed' Nanette ordered as they picked him up and took him indoors. I stood there with a blank look on my face, did all this just happen in five minutes?!
'Well I hope your happy Mimi' Dad huffed
'What's that supposed to mean?' I asked
'Because of your stupidity, we have a new member in our garden and he will never be able to return to his other life' Mum snapped
'You know to well that you weren't supposed to reveal yourself to him! You know that!' he said
'Oh sure, chipmunks weren't supposed to reveal themselves and now there's a band of six woodland creatures who are world famous' I said sarcastically
'Don't go all sassy on us young lady' Mum said angry, I hate it when she calls me that!
'Your mother's right! From this day on, you are grounded, and you'll stop being grounded until I say so' Dad huffed and walked away with mum
I was really annoyed and angry with both of them! But I couldn't blame them, I mean they were right, what I did was stupid and independent, and plus I may have ruined Harry's life as a human, but part of me was really happy that he was here, cause maybe I could get to know him more and spend more time with him.
