It had been over a week since Team 7 left to find the group of people that had handed them a serving of humble pie. We find the team sitting in the middle of a clearing trying looking over all the material they had pick up overnight.

Kakashi stood tall in front of his genin mentally preparing himself for what he has to do. Looking at his team, Kakashi cleared his throat and began to utter what may have been the hardest things he ever had to say.

"Ok, team" he began pausing to make sure he had their attention "I am not entirely sure on how to say this delicately, so I'll be blunt with it. Basically when it comes down to the core element of being leaf ninja… We suck!"

Silence fell over the clearing as the three young ninja tried to take in what they were just told by their teacher. Sakura broke the silence first.

"What do you mean sensie? Lady Tsunade said we were her strongest genin team and" she would have continue but Kakashi held up his hand to interrupt her.

"While praise like that from a kage is quite an accomplishment." Kakashi began. "You have to realize that just because you are strong does not mean you are good at what you do…. Especially at being a ninja."

Seeing the confused look on their faces he decided to elaborate.

"I assume, in the academy you were taught about the InoShikaCho team from the third great ninja war, correct?"

Seeing them all nod their head he continued.

"Well while power houses in their own right, they are most well-known for the teamwork they exhibited while fighting together. Chouza Akimichi was considered the tank of the group, able to dish out and absorb tons of damage thanks to the Akamichi bloodline. Inochi Yamanaka the support of the group able to assist in the offensive part of battle by making his opponents weak with poison or helping behind the scenes assiting them with healing and other task. Finally, Shikaku Nara the strategist of the group. They were a movement by themselves, but a force when they are together."

After finishing his explanation he looked and saw nothing but determination in his team's eyes. Feeling more proud now than ever before he narrowed his eyes as he thought

'This team will be legends among the shinobi world, I just hope im able to stand with them'

Clearing his throat, he pulled out a scroll from his pouch and addressed his team.

"Soldiers, right now you are weak; weak as individuals and weak as a whole. But with your trust in me I can make us strong." He sees Sasuke and Sakura look on at him with a new shine in their eyes.

I've never had a proper family so I'm willing to accept you as my kin but I refuse to have a weak family." Seeing Naruto nod he begins to unraveling the scroll and throwing it on the floor before he continues.

"For too long has the world said the will of fire is dead never to reignite. For too long has the mantle of team seven been deemed cursed to fail. So I ask you to step on the edge of the scroll and channel your chakra and come with me as we show the world that the Will of Fire will never die"

Seeing his team standing at three corner of the scroll he steps toward and began to run through a long series of weird handsigns, he yells out

"Hatake Clan Secret Jutsu: Hidden Potential Release"

No sooner than he muttered these words his world went black.

A few miles away we are met with a very peculiar situation, a young man with an arrow tattooed in blue ink on his head is wearing a blind fold dodging pillars of rocks, whips of water and a boomerang of all things.

Taking off his blindfold he opens his mouth to speak only to quickly stomp on the ground and bring his hands into a x formation across his chest as a wall of rock explodes form the ground and blocks the sudden fireball sent his way.

"Glad to see you stop letting your guard down after training is done Aang" spoke a teenaged boy appearing to be 16 or 17 with a very noticeable scar over his eye.

"Well with you obsession with attacking me when I least expect it Zuko, how could I not? Aang said as he placed the blindfold to the ground and let out a breath of air.

Aang suddenly got a dark twinkle in his eye making his friends step back suddenly fearing for their wellbeing.

"You know" Aang began as his eyes and tattoos began to glow "When we are back at home I can understand that we need to train me to defeat the firelord and return balance to the land, correct?" he ask as the winds around his body began to pick up and he slowly raised himself in the air

His friends all got into a defensive position preparing themselves for whatever Aang had planned.

"Yet since being here we were attacked by a group of individuals who seemed to have the power to manipulate energy to emulate the elements and so much more" he paused and couldn't help but smirk as Sokka, the darker skinned male with the pitch black sword, dropped his weapon wondering why Aang was stating the obvious.

A sudden blast of air made him fly back into the tree as Katara, Toph and Zuko paled at the implications of his words and actions.

A jet of water flew at Toph, the small 13 year old girl, who barely had enough time to bend a pillar to send her into the air.

Flames slithered at high speeds towards Katara, who barely managed to bend enough water to block it.

A boulder flew towards Zuko who managed to destroy it by hitting it with flames causing a massive dust cloud to fall over the group.

When the dust settled Aang stood there with a creepy smile and yelled

TRAINING TIME.
