Chapter 22: Dreams do come true
10 years later
It had been 10 years since Harry proposed to Mimi and had been 16 years since they first met. Now they lived in the capulet's old home and it was beautiful home. Harry became a successful business man in the mechanical world and He was happy to do something he enjoyed. He loved his career. but most of all, he loved his Family. Mimi became an author and had written 5 books about love in 10 years. She was still beautiful and very successful. They were both happily married and not just that, they were happy parents too! That's right! They had 3 children, and 1 on the way. Their eldest son David was a tough 6 year old boy who loved adventure and mischief, he had brown hair and blue eyes and his father's face. Their second eldest child was Melissa. She was smart for a 4 year old girl. She has short brown hair with blue eyes and had her mum's features and always had a smile on her face. Their two year old son and third child was Teddy. He was a sweet boy with blonde hair and green eyes and he loved playing outdoors. Although he was 2, he didn't say much. And of course, their fourth child was not even born yet but they had been told it was a girl and had gone with the name Katherine. They knew she would be wonderful and caring and loved very much. Today Mimi decided to measure her children's heights. so they all formed a cue and they were each measured.
'Mum! Mum! I think I'm still growing! Measure me again!' David said excited
'All right, David. Stand still and let's see.' Mimi laughed
'Mum, you and I both know that it's impossible for him to have grown in the last five minutes. Isn't it?' Melissa asked. And Mimi Played a little trick and pretended that David had grown within those minutes
'Look how much you've grown.' She gasped
'What? David get out of the way. It's my turn again. Measure me' Melissa smiled as Mimi playfully rolled her eyes
'Daddy's home' Teddy pointed out as giggled seeing their father walk through the door
'Come here.' They all ran to their father and he lifted them all up and kissed them as Mimi got up from her kneeling rubbing her swollen tummy
'Dad! I ate a cake today!' Melissa smiled
'Oh! Was Mummy baking again? Don't tell her I said that.' He whispered
'I heard that!' Mimi shouted and walked over to her husband 'Okay, everybody, move aside. Lady with a baby coming through' She laughed and kissed him
'Dad! Dad! Dad! Look at how big I am.' David pointed out his height 'We were all measured today. Oh. I'm going through a growth spurt. I'm as big as you were when you were my age'
'Mm-hmm. Sure are' Harry smiled and Mimi moaned in pain a little 'Sweetie you okay?' He asked concerned
'I'm fine, Katherine's just giving a little bit of a hard time' She smiled
'Aww is My little Kathy being to hard on mummy' He sweet talked her tummy
'Yeah, I'll be glad to see her born and brought into this world happily' Mimi sighed
'We both will' Harry kissed her on the lips and kissed her swollen tummy
'Okay now that your home. We better get going' Mimi smiled
'Going where?' Harry asked
'We're having dinner with my parents tonight.' Mimi reminded
'YEY!' The kids got excited
'Oh right of course, Let me just make a quick phone call to Ryan.
Mimi Pov:
Harry's friends still kept in touch with us within the years. Hanna and Ryan ended up getting married as did Luke with Star. Hannah Became an owner of a very fancy hair salon while Ryan became a teacher in sports. They had been married for 9 years and had 3 kids. Two girls and a boy and they were around the same age as our kids. Luke and Star had been married for 7 years and Luke was a well known police officer and everyone liked him and star became a artist, painting sketches of nature and they had 2 kids. a daughter and a son that's not been born yet. we loved catching up with them and we all had our own careers and family. It was perfect. I got the kids ready to go to my parents and we all went out to the garden.
'You kids ready?' Harry asked as they all nodded and he gave me the signal
'OKAY! WE'RE READY NOW!' i shouted but there was no reply, just silence. but suddenly all of us began to glow and we all felt our selves shrink in size! We all ran to the pond and could see we had been turned into Gnomes! I felt 16 all over again. Ever since my grandmother (Lady B) had passed on, the magic of transformation had been passed to mum. and She had learned a trick or two over the years and was able to change my family from humans to gnomes any time she wanted! It was amazing, I could be around them all the time now. I saw my parents emerge from the flowers along with Tybalt, Benny, Jazmin, Nannette, Paris and All the others. Including my old friends!
Ricky and Abigail got together just after Harry and I got engaged and they were now happily married for 8 years with 3 kids, a girl and two boys. They both still looked great and the kids were so sweet and the same age as my own. And The same with Kyle and Rita! They got together two! They have been married for 6 years and have two children. a girl and a boy. They were so sweet. And Rita was also pregnant with a girl, it would be nice for my baby to have a friend around the same age. I looked to mum and dad and they both had gotten on over the years but mum was still her gorgeous self with her brown hair and green eyes and dad was still handsome and they were still very much in love. I then saw a boy around 15-16 who had blonde hair and blue eyes. It was my brother Tommy. He looked so much like dad and he was just as handsome
'Oh Mimi its wonderful to have you like this!' Mum smiled
'Thanks mum it great to see you' I kissed her cheek
'There's my little girl. How are you?' Dad smiled
'I'm fine dad, just a little tired'
'Harry how are you' Dad shook Harry's hand'
'I'm good sir. Taking care of my wife and daughter'
'That's what i like to hear' I smiled and walked over to my brother and high fived him
'How you doing bro?' I asked
'I've been good just glad to see my sister here' He smiled
We all sat together on a huge table having dinner and it turned into a musical party! It was amazing, music, dancing and even karaoke. Tommy got up on the stage and announced something
'I would love it very much if my parents and mi literally 'big sister'' He said as the audience laughed 'Would join me on the stage' He said as we all got up on the stage 'I would love for us to sing a song together, as a family' He smiled
'What song did you have in mind buddy?' Dad asked as the music began to play, we all knew this one and each grabbed a microphone

Everyone applauded us and i felt on top of the world. We danced through the night.
Harry Pov:
My life was perfect! I had my career and my home. Sure, we still enjoy the usual day-to-day happinesses of family life. Big house, great kids, beautiful wife. But there is always something more to look forward to, The future. We danced through the night and the kids fell asleep next to Tommy who was also asleep. Gnome and Juliet danced to a slow song and they looked so happy. Even after everything they've been through. They still looked like that young couple who fell in love at first sight. Mimi and I danced under the moonlight and I gazed into her bright blue eyes and smiled
'How did I find you?' I wondered
'How did I find you? You've made me the happiest girls alive'
'I love you Mimi' I sighed
'I love you too Harry' and we kissed passionately and continued to dance under the moonlight, I then saw a twinkling star in the sky, I winked at it and smiled
'I guess wishes do come true' I smiled
'Yeah they do, I know mine did' Mimi laughed
'As did mine' I kissed her again as we danced.
My life changed ever since i stepped into that house all those years ago. The last thing I expected was to fall in love. But I'm glad because I've been to her world and she's living in my world. It was one heck of an experience. I have been To the Garden and Back.
