Chapter 6
"Sorry, I'm so sorry."
Jack clawed his way out of the nightmare induced fog in his head and opened his eyes to dark surroundings. Everything that happened practically hit him like a freight train as he shot up into a seated position. A voice to his left alerted him that he was not alone.
Turning he tried to make out who was in the room with him. He couldn't make out much but then he was able to make out messy blond with bright pink.
"April? What are you doing here?" Jack whispered then he remembered who he saw before passing out and glared. "What did you do to me?!"
Even in the dark he could make out the form of April tensing, then her voice continued whispering apoligies. He expression softened as he thought back to the expressionless April and compared it to the one who sounded to be in tears.
"Where are we?" Jack asked the shaking April, then a new voice, one that was familiar yet weak sounded from behind him.
"Oh well I was so sure you would've remembered my home. Jack Frost."
Jack turned and was barely able to make out the sitting form of the one person who he wanted to send to a personal ige age for causing all this. However when Jack's eyes adjusted enough he realized that something was off.
If he and April were where his enemy said they were, then why was he restrained and why did he sound so weak.
"Now why are you lying like that? This is no longer your 'home' Pitch." Jack turned to find a piercing hateful golden gaze, staring at him through the bars. The eyes were completely familiar but the voice and person were new.
"I've waited so long for you to pay a visit. Mr. Frost." To his side Jack heard April whispering in a fearful way though he couldn't make it out. The one in front of him stood and snapped her fingers and the room they were in gained some greatly needed light.
With the light came the chance to take in his surrounding better, as well as the new person. First he looked around, the space wasn't much, though chained to the wall on his right in a a way that they were forced to stay sitting was Pitch. Just as his voice would suggest, the once ruler of the nightmares was weak, and if possible his skin was paler then before, looking like a I'll hue of gray. His eyes were no longer their bright, piercing yellow and he stared at Jack in a way that made the young guardian nervous.
Chained to the wall on his left was April, she didn't look injured in anyway, though when the lights flooded the area she seemed to have shuffled away from the new person whom jack had never met, yet seemed to already hate him and who now pocessed Pitch Black's piercing golden gaze.
Finally jack turned and faced the new face that almost seemed to be a female Pitch Black, though with more changes then just the gender.
For starters the female instead on the black cloak, that seemed to have been fashioned out of sand, which Pitch was always seen wearing, the one in front of him seemed to have gone for a flashier wardrobe. Hugging the curves of her body was a bright red mermaid gown that somehow seemed to be fashioned from the sand yet somehow gained the ability to form colors. Her black hair framed her face and flowed freely over her back and shoulders as her hateful gaze seemed to scrutinize everything that made up the being, Jack Frost.
Under the hateful glare Jack felt the need to shrink in size make it so they didn't have someone to direct the heated glare towards, but he refused to show weakness in front of someone so similar to Pitch though completely different.
"Julia, please."
April's quiet voice caused the grey skinned being to turn and from the profile view of their face it almost seemed like their gaze softened. Slowly they stood and made their way towards April only to kneel in front of the younger spirit. From where he was restrained, Jack was unable to hear what was being said between the two, though it didn't matter when April's body slumped over and the grey skinned woman set laid her on the floor gently.
From the way April was mumbling and shaking it didn't take long for jack to realize that Nightmare sand had been used on his friend. With that realization the young Guardian began thrashing against his bonds.
"Why would you do that to her!? She odviously you knew you!" Jack yelled from where he was as the ashen skinned female began making her way back towards him. Sanding above Jack the mystery female seemed to scowl down at Jack. Suddenly her hand lashed out and grabbed a handful of Jack's siver hair. She pulled it and forced the young guardian to stand.
Looking staight into Jack's ice blue eyes her her molten gold gaze turned into a glare. "If you want to blame anyone for my actions you should look in a mirror."
Jack closed his eyes trying to remember what he might 've ever done to either of these girls in order to get this kind of reaction, but he came up with nothing and with a painful tug on his hair he opened his eyes and once again met the golden glare of the girl in front of him.
"Now since Lea likes you so much, you can just take a nap, while I try to figure out what to do with you."
As Jack's mind was trying to figure out who Lea was black sand was thrown into his face and he instantly succumbed to nightmares as the grip on his hair was released causing his body to unceremoniously fall to the ground.
A.N. whoohoo finally an update sorry for those who were waiting for this but I keep seeming to lose my plans and so now I just have to wing it, although in my opinion from what I remember of the plans winging it might not be that bad. So tell me what you think.
Until Next Time Peace, Love and, Virtual Hugs ^.^
