On a lazy Sunday morning, Gray awoke to a finger trailing down his bare chest. Soft lips pressed against his cheek before warm breath tickled his ear with Juvia's voice cheerily whispering, "Good morning."
Gray grunted, turning on his side while Juvia softly laughed. She wrapped her arms around his waist and snuggled into his back, propping her chin against his shoulder. "Wake up," she murmured, her nails teasing his chest. She felt him shiver, making her smile as she pressed a kiss to his neck.
"Too early," Gray muttered, exhaling a sigh when her fingers dipped into the slopes of his abdomen. "Juvia…"
She nibbled his ear, eliciting a quiet groan as he stirred awake. He glanced grudgingly over his shoulder, dark eyes blinking groggily at her. "Whad'ya want?"
She merely smiled, batting her lashes. "Wake up."
"M'awake," he mumbled half-heartedly, turning away and nestling his face into the pillow.
Juvia heaved a quiet huff, frowning before coaxing him on his back and shifting on top of him. Gray grunted as her curves pressed against him, his hands settling on her slender waist as her lips trailed down his neck. She massaged his shoulders while her warm tongue stroked his quickening pulse, making him draw a sharp breath as he tilted his head back.
"Gray…" she whispered softly, kissing his jaw. She rolled her hips against his, prompting his tired eyes open as he met her gaze. "Wake up."
He stared at her, blinking away the sleep and admiring the desire brewing in her darkened blue eyes. He lazily stretched his arms above his head with a grunt before brushing the back of his fingers against her cheek. "Why didn't you say so sooner," he murmured, returning her smile as she leaned into his palm.
She dipped down and kissed him, tilting her head as her tongue traced his lower lip. Gray rolled them over, placing her beneath him while her arms circled his neck. He hitched her leg around his waist and pushed her nightgown up her thighs, slacking his pants below his hips. She nipped his lip before opening her mouth, her hands cupping his face as Gray kissed her deeper and thrust his hips forward.
She gave a small, stifled moan before pulling away from his lips, panting as his forehead leaned against hers. Her hooded gaze looked up to his closed, concentrated eyes as her thumbs tenderly caressed his cheeks. Gray pulled her closer, breathing her in as he moved his hips back before pushing forward again. Juvia whimpered quietly and arched her back, slipping her hand in his hair and clutching the dark locks.
He groaned huskily in her ear, setting a steady, even rhythm. Her head tilted back against the pillow as she whispered his name, her body moving in rhythm to the grind of his hips. Her lips grazed his cheek before he kissed her fervently, slanting his mouth as she bent her legs back and drew his hips deeper—
The door suddenly slammed open, startling the two while a little boy dashed inside. "Zooooom!" he cried gleefully, a blanket cape flying behind his shoulders.
Both Gray's and Juvia's eyes widened, instantly springing apart and ducking beneath the covers.
"Shit—!" Slap! "Ow!"
"Language!"
The boy ran in an aimless circle before plopping on the ground. Messy black hair fringed bright blue eyes as he stared, gleaming with innocence. "Whatcha doin'? Are you playing wrestling?!"
The two popped out from under the covers and glanced at each other, faces beet red. "Um—uh—"
The boy's eyes instantly lit up as he beamed a toothy grin. "I wanna play too!"
"Wait, Hale—!"
He promptly pounced on the bed, landing directly on Gray's back.
"Great, we scarred our son."
Gray paced along their porch as Juvia sat on a bench, watching Hale play excitedly in the snow.
Juvia rolled her eyes. "So dramatic."
"It's one thing walking in on us," Gray continued, pacing a little quicker, "but you didn't need to start explaining."
Juvia merely shrugged. "It's perfectly natural. He'll learn one day."
"Yeah, but not today." He stopped beside her, arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed. "He's only four, Juvia. How are we supposed to afford therapy for the rest of his life?"
"You're overreacting," Juvia mumbled, flashing a small smile as Gray frowned.
"How can you be so calm?" he asked as he took a seat beside her. He passed a hand through his hair, heaving a heavy sigh.
Juvia giggled, curling against his side and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "You're so cute," she teased while she took his hand and tenderly stroked his palm. "Don't worry, children's attention spans are short. I'm sure he's already forgotten all about it."
Gray glanced at her, following her eyes to find Hale burrowing himself in the snow. The boy popped his head out, white specks slipping off his dark hair as he cried, "Ice-Make: Cannon! Pew pew pew!" and flung several snowballs rapid-fire at a tree before diving back into the snow.
Juvia laughed, turning to Gray with a beautiful smile. "You see?"
"Hmph," he muttered, relaxing as he slipped an arm around her waist. "Guess you're right."
"Of course I am," she huffed, raising her nose in the air. "I know our son."
"Yeah," he chuckled, glancing back to Hale. "Our son."
Juvia looked at him, smiling gently before leaning her head on his shoulder. "Are you happy?"
"Yeah," he muttered, mouth quirking in a grin while Hale attempted to roll the world's largest snowball. "More than I thought I'd ever be."
"I'm glad," Juvia replied, toying with his fingers, "because you still owe me the rest of this morning."
Gray flinched, making Juvia blink as she looked at him in confusion. "Uh," he mumbled, scratching the back of his head, "maybe we should lay off that for a while in case we, you know, traumatize our kid again."
Juvia stifled a giggle, hiding her laughter behind her hand while Gray's eye twitched.
"What's so funny?"
"The last time you said that," she said between giggles, lowering her hand and smiling radiantly at him, "I became pregnant with Hale."
Gray stiffened, a faint blush dusting his cheeks as he whisked his head away. "W-Well, I mean it this time!"
Juvia giggled, nuzzling his face. "Yes, Gray-sama."
He groaned while Juvia laughed sweetly.
"Mommy!" Hale squealed merrily, pouncing Juvia's leg. "Look, look!" He pointed excitedly to the large snowball in their front yard. "It's huge!"
Juvia gasped, taking him in her arms as she stood up. "It is!" she cooed, coddling his face. "You're so strong!"
"Really?!" the boy cried, grinning ear to ear.
"Yes!" she answered, smiling kindly before looking to Gray. "Isn't that right?"
Gray grinned and nodded, ruffling Hale's hair. "At this rate, you'll be getting stronger than your old man soon."
Hale gaped. "No way!" he shouted defiantly, wriggling out of Juvia's grasp and taking Gray's hand. "Dad's the bestest!"
"I am," he replied with a smug grin, leading Hale inside the house, "but your mom's pretty strong too."
"Really?! Stronger than you?!"
He glanced to Juvia, finding her dusting herself off before he kneeled down and lifted a hand beside his mouth. "Sometimes," he answered quietly, "but don't tell her I said that."
Hale gawked, eyes growing wide before he dashed back to Juvia and tackled her legs.
"Mommy's the bestest!" he cried as he rubbed his cheek against her knee.
Juvia faltered a step, blinking before a warm smile crossed her lips. "What a sweetheart," she murmured, tenderly stroking his hair. "Would you like your juice box before your nap?"
"Apple juice!" the boy screamed, reaching for his mother.
Juvia smiled, hoisting him on her hip as he nuzzled her cheek. "Are you getting sleepy?"
"No way!" he shouted indignantly before a yawn escaped him. Juvia giggled, rubbing his back as he slumped over her shoulder.
"You see?" she said quietly, looking to Gray. "Like nothing happened."
He studied Hale's sleeping face before giving her a small, genuine smile. "Here," he said, handing her the juice box.
She mouthed a "thank you" before slipping inside Hale's room, re-emerging a few minutes later.
"Sound asleep," she whispered as she quietly closed the door behind her. She looked to Gray, tilting her head upon finding his eyes trained intently on her. "What? What is it?"
He stepped towards her, taking her face in his hands and pressing his lips firmly against hers. Her cheeks flushed in surprise, eyes fluttering closed as he pushed her against the wall and slanted his mouth.
He gradually leaned back, leaving her breathless as she slowly opened her eyes. "Gray-sama…"
He flashed a small grin, tenderly stroking her cheek. "Haven't heard you call me that for a while."
Juvia smiled gently, placing her hand over his. "You'll always be Gray-sama to Juvia."
He chuckled, closing his eyes and leaning his forehead against hers. He loved it when she unconsciously slipped back to her old speech habits—it was like it they were 20 again, young and just as in love with her then as he was now.
"I love you," she murmured softly.
He smirked. "Yeah?"
"Of course," she huffed, and he could hear her defiant pout in her tone.
Opening his eyes, he directly met her gaze. "Show me."
She blinked. "Hm?"
He drew her close, dark eyes glinting mischievously before his teeth grazed down her neck. "Show me," he murmured, running his tongue along her throat, "how much you love me."
A light blush tinted her cheeks as she shuddered, melting in his arms. "You said… you wanted to take a break," she whispered breathlessly, sliding her fingers in his hair.
He chuckled, scooping her up bridal style as he pressed a kiss to her lips. "Like that's stopped me before."
Juvia giggled, nuzzling his face with a soft purr. "Gray-sama…"
"We've got about an hour until Hale wakes up," he said, taking swift strides to their bedroom, "and I'm not letting you go till then."
"You're going to get Juvia pregnant again," she teased, pressing kisses to his cheek.
"More the merrier," he replied, grinning as she leaned her head against his and laughed.
