3:01 P.M.
Ishida paused by a stream to wash his face of the blood. He didn't bother with his clothes. It would take too much time, and the only person he would have wanted to share the bond that men can only share when they bare their bodies to each other was a) dead and b) part of him. So there was no point in stripping down.
Still, taking inventory of his possessions would be smart. First, given weapons – the Kevlar Vest, from Ishimaru. The Katana, from Oowada. The Uzi Submachine Gun, from Tanaka. The Collar-Tracking Device, from Souda. He had food from both his and Oowada's packs, as well as water.
He wondered if this water was good to drink. He decided that he would try it out, because he wouldn't get anywhere if he didn't take some goddam risks.
He cupped his hands in the water and sucked the water from them, and, after a few sips of the water, which tasted cool and clear and wonderful, stuck his entire face in the water. The smart half of him told him to not drink too much, or water cramps would be a serious issue! Also, the water was most likely not good to drink, so he should not drink too much!
He listened to the smart half. He sat back and wiped at his mouth with the back of his hand and stood up. He stuck the katana through his belt loop. He slung the bag over his shoulder. He held the collar-tracking device in one hand, Uzi in the other. He would be ready to defend himself, though he did think he preferred the katana to the Uzi. At least, Ishimaru preferred the katana. He was decent with the katana.
He pushed hair back from his face and wondered at a bandanna to keep it off of his forehead. He ripped a piece of his shirt off and tied it around his forehead. His brother had probably had real bandannas, but he would have to make do with this for now.
Now, it was time to do what he was supposed to do.
Objective A – Find and protect Chihiro Fujisaki.
Objective B – Survive. With Chihiro Fujisaki.
Objective C – Vengeance for those who had killed his brother.
` Objective D – Join his brother once that vengeance was done, and make sure the kid won the game.

I needed a really quick POV, and I thought that popping in on Ishida would be fun. And it was. So, that's this week's set of chapters! :)
