DAY ONE ; 9:30 P.M.
Celestia Ludenberg tapped her fingernails against the table, wondering what in the hell was taking Togami so long. They only had about half an hour before the lighthouse became a danger zone, and unless Togami had found something too good to pass up and was struggling to free it, she did not see why he would be taking so long. The two of them had been in the lighthouse for about six hours, spending it just as people like them would – planning, then spending some time alone.
After that, the two of them had fucked on the bed upstairs.
On the off chance that she were to get pregnant from this encounter, which was totally possible, if she had been tracking those sorts of things correctly, it would do well to have a Togami child once she was in the outside world. If not… well, it seemed like an appropriate thing to do, under the circumstances. It hadn't been anything special, of course, but it had served its purpose, and it hadn't been entirely unenjoyable.
She checked the time and grimaced. He was cutting it short. While there was a bit of thrill in nearly dying, she had no intention of actually dying. She was going to use Byakuya Togami - their two minds together would make it much easier to murder all of their classmates – and then she would kill him.
And then she would win. She could go back to her regular life, and continue on her life path with this new experience under her belt. After all, who could resist playing against the girl who was not only the Super High School Level Gambler, but had also been the winner of The Program?
She grew tired of waiting and headed up the stairs to see what was taking him so long. She half-expected him to be gone – the thought had crossed her mind after the first ten minutes had passed – but he wasn't. He was staring at the bookshelf. Celestia walked up behind him and placed her hands on his shoulders, pressing the side of her face to his arm. "What's this, Togami-kun?"
"It has to be placed here to try and shake me," Togami said. His voice was low and dangerous. "Nobody who just lived here would have access to this kind of thing. Nobody except the Togami family would have access."
Celestia leaned closer to see what was on the shelves. Books, though they looked to be more journal-like than published works. The spines were covered in labels, categorizing them in different ways that the Togami family had broken laws to get where it was. She smirked. "This is certainly a predicament," she said. She took a few steps back, disentangling herself from him. "You best hope you manage to win, hm?"
"What time is it?" Togami asked, turning on his heel to face her.
"About nine forty-three," she said. Togami swore, scowled and headed down the stairs. "I must admit, it will be fun to see you run."
Togami said something back, but it was too quiet to make out, so she simply smiled and followed him. The two of them gathered their bags and headed out, both of them carrying their weapons. Celestia kept an eye on Togami as he walked quickly, using his long legs to get out of the danger zone without running. He was still terrified, she could tell – it wasn't that she was completely fine with the situation, of course; she just had absolute faith that she would win. She had taken into account everyone. She had only had to kill Yamada and Nanami, and everyone else was doing the killing for her.
With her luck, everyone would simply kill each other off and the only other one she would have to kill would be Byakuya Togami. And while the boy was good in bed and it would be a shame to lose something like that, it all paled in the matter of survival.
