Insanity is knowing that what your doing is

completely idiotic, but still,

somehow, you just can't stop it.

Ever looked back at old memories and think that somehow...somewhere you could have made a difference. A change. To think 'What could I have done to make things different?'

Have you ever visited a place that you've never been to before and felt happy for some reason? Almost as if you've been there before and just can't remember it?

In this case, with the Noah of Madness, her heart hurt. Her heart hurt when she stood in front of the orphanage with Tyki Mikk. Her heart hurt even though the sun was out. Her heart hurt and she didn't know why.

"Are you alright?" Tyki asked scanning her face.

She flinched slightly and shook her head, "Yeah, I'm fine."

After a few glances, he gave up and shrugged, "If you say so."

"So...what's the plan?"

Tyki raised a brow, "For real? Don't you ever listen to what I'm telling you, Kyoki?"

"No..." she shook her head, "Not really."

He sighed and turned to face her, "When the Exorcist arrive we-"

"Alright got it!"

There was a long silence, "You can really irritate someone you know that?"

"I know, it's my specialty." Kyoki beamed, "Don't worry though, I know the plan. Just make sure you do your job, no fooling around."

"Same goes for you dear."

"The names Kyoki, Tyki."

"I'm well aware."

"Fine. Then I will just call you Mikk for now on..." Kyoki said as she crossed her arms and turned away.

"Are you serious..?"

Without turning to look at him she said, "Of course I am, Mikk."

He sighed and then looked back at the gate of the orphanage, "Now, you go do your job, and I'll do mine." He said as he vanished into the ground.

Kyoki looked back at where he was and nodded slightly to herself as she leaped over the locked gate.

-Allen Walker 5min later-

He stood in front of the large old orphanage building located in England. The windows where boarded shut, the crooked gate was locked, and large weeds grew along the concrete wall that surrounded the building. According to Kamui, there should be 4 pieces of Innocence located inside...

Right as he ripped the chains off the gates and walked in, his eye flashed and five level three Akuma appeared from the ground beneath him. All of them shown a different solid color with razor sharp teeth and wore medieval looking armor.

He jumped up, dodging two.

"Cross Grave!" He yelled as he striked down with his talons and destroyed one of the Akuma.

Avoiding a direct attack from the others, he flipped forward and landed on the ground rather roughly. Before he had a chance to attack again, the last four Akuma, with such speed, attacked. He dodged the first three hits and blocked the last with his black claw. He slid back slightly and then broke away to dodge again.

'These Akuma seem stronger than they used to be...'

His mind responded quickly when the four Akuma came from each direction. He ducked down, the cape of his cowl around his neck began to expand and cut into large white spikes that floated above him.

"Crown Belt!" he shouted as the hardened spikes shot out at the remaining Akuma, each of them being impaled. As Allen looked up with his grey eyes, four large explosions went off.

"I better hurry, the Noah seem to be here already."

-Tyki Mikk-

He strode though the empty halls of the orphanage, passing countless rooms along the way. His golden eyes glanced through each door, only seeing rust, broken furniture, and police tape.

"Hmph, now where is that Innocence hiding?" he teased as he continued down the narrow corridor.

Soon, a large hole in the wall caught his eye in the distance, it seemed as though it was smashed open by force. Two thick steel doors where also smashed into the wall across from the opening. As Tyki stepped in, he smelled a strong aroma of blood, dust, and decay fill his nose. It didn't seem like anyone had entered this room after what happened.

His eyes scanned the room, everything was a mess. The ceiling and walls where crumbling and it looked as though the room was going to collapse.

"I best watch my step, any more damages to this room and I'll lose the Innocence." he said to himself as he walked forward.

He spotted a small light in the distance and smirked, 'This is too easy' he thought as he knelt down and phased his hand through some rummage. After awhile of digging around he felt a small substance at his fingertips. Before he had a chance to find a way to pull the Innocence out he heard running footsteps behind him. He let go quickly and phased through the ground just as Allen Walker ran in.

-Allen Walker-

He looked around scanning the area for any Akuma, "Seems I got them all..." There was a long silence as he continued forward, his footsteps echoing throughout the room. 'Though this seems too easy.' He thought as he looked around again.

His eyes narrowed on the darkness in front of him. The atmosphere felt different suddenly. He activated his crown belt quickly and shot the webbing forward into the darkness, "Whose there!?" He shouted as his belt slammed into the wall.

There was a sudden sound that followed afterwards. A girl. Crying.

Allen paused, "Hey, are you ok? Come on out, its safe. I'm sorry if I scared you."

His eyes darted behind him to the entrance, catching the sight of a shadowy figure running out the opening, "Hey, Wait!" He called as he ran after it. No thoughts of the situation being a trap or the fact that he forgot about ging after the Innocence came to him. He just had this strong urgency to find out what the figure was, but...he didn't know why.

He chased after the figure, every time he turned the corner he saw a hand, a foot, or even a lock of dark hair disappear from his sight. He finally came to a silver door that was creaked open slightly. He approached it, hearing his heart skip a beat, 'Why was he feeling this way?'

He stayed silent, letting his breathing calm down as he listened to a conversation on the other side. "Dear child, do you wish to bring your sister back?"

"Y-you can do that?"

"Of course I can." There was a pause, "Just call out her name and she will come back from your despicable God."

Another pause, "Izzy, come back to me!"

Allen's eyes widened, "No."

He slammed the door open quickly, and ran forward. He soon realized that there was no one in there, just darkness, and an empty room. His eyes scanned around him, 'I couldn't have imagined that...could I?'

He turned around to the doorway, the only source of light he could see, but as he did, the atmosphere changed again and he felt a familiar presence in the room. He saw a figure, with a large, see through smirk standing by the doorway. Its dark hand was placed against the silver door and it slowly creaked shut, engulfing him into the darkness. He knew then that this was a trap, but not by what; or who.

His squinted in the darkness, his light grey eyes slowly adjusting.

"Allen...Walker." an unfamiliar voice sang from the darkness.

"Come on out, and quite hiding already!" He yelled.

No answer. Instead a light flickered on above him and a wooden door appeared, the only exit Allen could think of. He ran forward quickly, not thinking as he opened it and ran in.

-Kyoki-

She stood under the spotlight where the boy once stood, her bright golden eyes beaming and her smirk growing wide, "He doesn't expect a thing..." She said to herself as she laughed,"Soon my madness will corrupt his mind...and then I will finish him."

"Kyoki." Came a voice from behind her, "You are not to kill Allen Walker."

She glared as she turned to face Tyki, "Leave me alone, you're supposed to destroy the Innocence."

"I already did." he lied, "What are you doing to him?"

Her eyes narrowed slightly as she pointed to the door Allen had just ran into, "My power is quite special really. I can make anyone go completely mad." She paused, "Change what they are seeing, hearing. I can change their most deepest memories and thoughts to anything I want. Soon Allen Walker will not be able to know what is reality and what is pretend. Though all of this comes with a price of my own sanity."

"So it's all an illusion then?"

She smirked, "No, the pain, the sadness, the entire experience of being mad is all too real."

Tyki's eyes narrowed, "I think you're done. The Earl doesn't want you to go insane." He said grabbing her by the arm.

She growled slightly and pulled away, "Don't touch me. I'm not done with this...Allen Walker...or should i say the 14th? It's payback time."

Before Tyki could continue, the light died above them and darkness surrounded Tyki as he heard a nearby door slam shut. In an instant the room turned white and revealed an old nursery room. He sighed as he shook his head, "Little brat...I can't believe I have to watch over her."

-Allen Walker-

'Where am I? Its so dark I cant even see my own arms in front of me...' He thought as he continued to walk, 'but...' He shook his head as he thought back to the voices he heard. It was the Earl and a girl. 'Back there...I know I heard it. What if someone was trying to tell me something? What if the Akuma egg is restored and the Earl is creating Akuma again?'

There was a sudden voice that echoed in the room, "Right you are, Allen Walker."

He looked up, breaking away from his thoughts, "Whose there?" He knew that voice. Of a girl who called his name out earlier.

The voice snickered loudly as it spoke, "Why does it matter who I am or where ever I came from?"

Allen's eyes narrowed as she continued to talk, "Though I am surprised that the Exorcist only sent you. It would be much more fun if they sent more."

"Why don't you show yourself already so I can continue and obtain what I came here for?"

"The Innocence you mean? Its already been destroyed."

"You're lying!"

There was a sudden motion through the darkness and a large black claw grabbed him around the neck, slamming him against the wall, "Oh, Allen. I want to kill you so badly...you have no idea."

Allen lifted his own claw and slashed down quickly; only to be stopped by a second claw that shot out and held his arm against the wall. He gasped at the impact, not expecting such force. Was it an Akuma that was this powerful? No. He knew it was a Noah.

"Don't even try." She said.

Allen refused to be overpowered. In an instant he shot out his Crown Belt in front of him, obviously hitting the figure directly for the grip on his neck and arm was released shortly after, causing him to fall to the floor.

"Why you." The figure said.

Allen stood up from the floor, his eyes narrowed, "How about you show yourself and quite hiding already."

"Hiding?" The figure laughed, You're the one hiding." Allen stood quietly as she smirked, "Yes, you're afraid of who I am. You know, but you resist to believe."

A light turned on above Allen as he looked into the darkness. A shadow of a girl, the same size as him, stood in front of him. He could see the outline of two large claws on both of her arms and her bright golden eyes, but he couldn't make out anything else, "I know everything about you, Allen Walker. Your past, your friends, your regrets" she paused, "Everything...and I can make you believe anything I want you to believe."

There was along silence.

The girl tilted her head slightly, bright golden eyes fixed on his. She stepped backwards, further into the darkness, disappearing, "Allen Walker, you have no friends...you never did." Her eyes looked deep into his, "You will return to the Black Order and tell them that the Earl is creating Akuma again and that you failed your mission..."

Allen's eyes slowly began to change color as each word slipped out of her mouth, "You will forget every little memory- every detail of what happened here."

She smirked as his eyes turned a bright red, "You belong to the madness."

She began laughing uncontrollably as her abilities made her lose her sanity. Her power to great. Right then and there, all she could think about was killing. Killing anything with a heartbeat. Her long black claw shot out at Allen, aiming at his his chest. Her eyes where practically glowing a dark red in the shadows. And just when her talons would pierce his skin, a long vine covered in several spikes striked her from the side. She flew backwards, her body slamming into the wall. As the dust cleared she looked up at who spoiled her kill. Her eyes, now returning to there original gold, looked at Tyki Mikk.

I could almost see

common sense and Denial

fighting away at each

other within her.

In the end, denial won,

as it so often does.

Hellooo everyone, thank you for reading. I hope you've enjoyed so far what i've written and I promise much more is on its way. Though I would like to apologize on how long this chapter took! I just had to come up with the idea of first what Kyoki's powers would be and second, how is Allen going to react and such. It took me like...Forever!

So enough of that, please review and tell me what you think so far. I would really appreciate it!
