Episode 4: A Fine Ending to a Fine Adventure

Peach stood there, watching the sunset, breathing out a heavy sigh. Mario was standing next to her, still a little bit sad about what happened to FLUDD. Mario wasn't wearing his cap and he was holding it in his hands. The others were there too. Sonic was just standing there with his arms crossed over his chest, Amy standing next to him and Pauline standing on his other side. Silver and Blaze were standing together off to the side.

"Ahem!"

From the interruption, everyone turned around to see Toadsworth, Baby Daisy, Baby Peach, and all the other Toads standing there. One of the Toads was holding FLUDD in his arms and he presented it to them.

Everyone's eyes widened.

FLUDD turned his head towards them and said one thing, "The vacation starts now!"

And so it did.

Mario promised to take Peach to all of the places that he and his friends visited. First, he went to Bianco Hills, which was the first place he ever visited with Sonic. Toadsworth, the Toads, Baby Daisy, and Baby Peach all tagged along. Peach loved the place and Toadsworth took all kinds of pictures.

While Mario was taking them all around Isle Delfino, Silver and Blaze had gone back to Pinna Park and were currently enjoying themselves, riding all of attractions that Pinna Park had to offer. Also, it gave them time to get even closer to each other and just enjoy each other's company.

Pauline was hanging out with FLUDD since there wasn't anyone else to hang out with and everyone was doing their own thing. The ravishing woman had FLUDD on her back and she was back at Pianta Village, hanging on to one of the giant fluffs and just soaring through the sky, not caring where the fluff was taking her.

"I am enjoying myself!" bellowed FLUDD happily.

"Good!" Pauline laughed as they went along.

Sonic and Amy were together. The blue hedgehog had been speeding along the Sirena Beach and it was during the evening. Sonic had already visited every location for a second time and had his fun. This was the last part of his journey.

"SONIC!"

Slowing down to a stop, Sonic turned around and was met with the sight of Amy running towards him, looking about ready to tackle him with a hug. Sonic whirled around and was about to take off running again, but Amy's voice stopped him once more.

"Don't run from me, Sonic! PLEASE!"

Not wanting to be a jerk, Sonic sighed dramatically and stayed where he was. When Amy advanced upon him, he was surprised to find out that Amy did not hug him. Sonic was very discombobulated, but waited until the pink hedgehog caught her breath.

"What's up, Ames?" asked Sonic, staring at her. Did this have something to do with what she wanted to talk to him about before she had gotten kidnapped?

"Um, well…" Amy reached into her dress pocket and pulled out the bracelet she had made for him, holding it out with a shy expression decorating her face.

Sonic looked stunned as he reached over and plucked the bracelet out of the female hedgehog's hand. He examined it for a long moment before grinning from ear to ear and slipping the bracelet onto his wrist. "Looks nice, Ames! Thanks!" Sonic winked at her.

Amy's face flushed. "You like it? You really like it?"

"Like it?" Sonic chuckled, shaking his head. "I love it!"

"OH SONIC!" Amy was about to throw herself at him and Sonic closed his eyes, flinching and waiting for impact, but…it never came…

Opening his green eyes, Sonic could see Amy standing there and staring down at her boots, hands clasped in front of her. Sonic stared at her. "Are you okay?"

"Can I hug you?"

Sonic stared at her as if she had grown a second head and he blinked several times. "Uh…"

"I wanted to ask before…before I did anything…" Amy mumbled, still looking at her boots. Her boots were much more interesting than Sonic's face right now.

The speedster watched the girl for a long moment before putting on a crooked grin and giving her a thumbs-up. "Eh, sure, why not?"

Amy raised her head and her face brightened with glee. She threw herself at her blue hero and tackled him with a hug, sending him to the ground with her on top of him.

"OH SONIC!" she squealed happily, giggling.

Sonic placed his hands onto the sand as Amy nuzzled his cheek. Sonic tried not to roll his eyes at Amy's ridiculous display of affection.

"You're welcome, Amy."

Note: Well, it's finally over. I appreciate the reviews, favorites, and follows. There WILL be a sequel, but it's not related to Super Mario Sunshine. A lot more characters will be present. Anyway, thanks for reading.
