DAY TWO ; 1:13 P.M.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu watched with his one good eye – he cupped one hand over the other one, feeling blood like he'd felt from his ear and shaking from Peko's death – as Junko Enoshima's now headless body crumpled to the ground, gun falling from her hand.

He'd been so sure that she would shoot her sister. He'd seen her turn, and he'd thought that she was going to shoot Ikusaba, shoot Kuzuryuu himself, and then go on with life.

But she hadn't.

She'd shot Peko. And now Peko was lying down, down far below him with Asahina. Two broken bodies.

Ikusaba had shrieked as Enoshima had pulled the trigger, but now she was silent. She was pale – she had to be in pain. It would be nobler of him to kill her. He didn't know how many weapons he had. Peko had taken about half of the grenades and the stun baton down with her. Kuzuryuu had the rest of the grenades. Now, too, their weapons.

He walked over to Ikusaba with his back straight. He kept one hand over his eye, though. He'd tape something over it later. Now he'd do what he had to do, no matter how much he wanted to fall to the ground and bawl because Peko was dead, and she wouldn't be with him anymore, and even when he lived, even when he went back, he wouldn't have her.

He swallowed, hard, but he kept his back straight and the tears from before had stopped. Ikusaba looked up at him. Her eyes were blank as well.

He cut her throat.

They'd had another knife. He didn't know where they'd gotten it, but they'd had it. He used that. He watched her die. He bandaged his eye.

Enoshima's body was crumpled at her sister's feet. He wondered why she'd done it. Shot herself like that. Hadn't been able to live without her sister, maybe. That didn't seem like her, though. He wasn't so sure. He was sure as hell going to work as hard as he fucking could to get through this and then kill everyone involved.

For Peko.

Because even if he didn't have her anymore, he'd always remember her. But first he had to kill everyone else in this damn game, and then he had to get back home, and then he had to kill everyone who had been in charge of the damn game in the first place.

Because there was nobody who could do it better than him. He'd practically been bred for this shit. Peko was better than him at this sort of thing. But with her death, he needed to grow stronger. He needed to grow stronger from it and take down the last ones. He'd killed Ikusaba easily.

Now thinking back on it, he didn't feel as good about it. But he buried it down, down, down, because they already thought he was too weak for this job. Because he wasn't. Baby-faced or not, the heir to the Kuzuryuu family was strong enough for anything that was thrown at him.

3 STUDENTS REMAINING

And so now we've got our final three! This is definitely ending soon. It's going to be so cool. The final showdown. Will be so cool.
