She was running as fast as she could but no matter how much she tried the door didn't came any closer to her, she saw the blank walls, the cold floor, everything was grey to her.
Her footsteps echoed through the empty hallways, dimly li,t it was hard for her to see where she was going. Looking over her shoulder at the sound of other footsteps she was getting scared, nothing about this place felt good to her. Reaching out for the wall she pressed herself against it in an effort to make herself as flat as possible, the sound of the footsteps coming closer made her heart beat faster and more irregular.
She remembered those clacking footsteps; she remembered them all too well. "No… no… no… I… I… I don't want to be here, let me go please. Just go away." She whispered, her heart stop beating as she saw the man appearing from around the corner, every part of him send imagines of terror and suffering coursing through her body.
She pushed on the door as hard as she could, she wanted to get out of here now, it was no good, they didn't move, she was trapped. That man was coming for her again.
"You fit my liking." She heard a voice, a voice that she remembered. "I will enjoy playing with you for a little while and after that you can do me a little favor." He laughed as he took another step closer, his eyes already fixating on her.
"NO NO NOOOO, NOT YOU, LEAVE ME ALONE!" The man took even more steps that brought him closer to her, the vicious smile on his face becoming absurdly large
"GO AWAY, JUST GET AWAY FROM ME!"
"That is just rude my dear, after all I have been waiting for you for so long. Be a good girl and say that you have missed me, say it or I will have them lads scrap you."
"NOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOO!" She heard the clicking sound of his weapon
"Shall we play a little? I have such wonderful new games planned for you my sweet, I will certainly like them." His face contorted into something that didn't resemble a human being any longer, he looked as twisted on the outside as he was on the inside.
"PLEASE LET ME GO!?"
"Oh you look so pretty with that pink hair of yours, do let me feel it." He licked his own lips as he raised her chin. A monstrous tongue emerged from a cavernous mouth.
"PLEASE I BEG YOU!?"
"Can I have some of it as a memento? I want it!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"I wonder what you taste like, hmmm I do love that scent of yours, you smell oh so sweet my darling." She could feel the sticky sense of his tongue caressing her, the touch of it was disgusting to her, she tried to get her head away from him.
"PLEASE GO AWAY, PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!?"
"How about a little kiss, I bet it's your first, that must make it very special for you."
"DON'T TOUCH ME! GO AWAY, I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU."
"Don't worry, I won't rush it, I will take my sweet time with you. In that little mind of yours you are all mine, nobody can save you here." He gurgled as a malformed hand grabbed a hold of her breasts, he was hurting her with every violation."
"NO NO NO NO I DON"T WANT TO PLAY, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY AT ALL, LET ME GO!"
"No need to be shy my dear. Time to see what else you have to offer me."
"NO PLAYING, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY, NO NO NO NO!"
She woke up screaming, she felt wet. "NO, no, no, I don't want this anymore!" Taken by surprise Nana and Nyu looked at her with frightened eyes.
"Saeko-chan your finally awake, oh I was so worried." Nyu cried as she grabbed hold of her. Still panting she looked around her, they had arrived back at the Inn.
"…H-how did I get here…?" She couldn't remember, last thing she knew was being somewhere else and feeling so tired.
"We carried you all the way from where we found you, it wasn't easy but we couldn't just leave you there on your own. You should get inside and your feet looked at, I will ask the others if they can also fill the bath for you." Nana mentioned as she allowed Saeko to get off her back. "You are heavier than you look."
Her feet hurt as she touched the ground, it also felt so cold to her. "…I-I want to home…" She cried as she leaned against Nyu. "…I-I want to be home with all of you…"
Nyu comforted her. "Then let's go inside and get you warm again. You must be hungry as well." Giving her a comforting smile she opened the front gate.
Arakawa let out a short curse as she heard the girl scream, dammit that was only going to attract unwanted attention and could spoil everything for her. She couldn't have that, not when he was so close to her.
Annoyed she pressed herself against the building in order avoid being seen to take. It was a discomfort but luckily nobody seemed to have noticed as nobody came running towards them, it was for the better she guessed. More people here would have only made things more complicated. For the moment she considered herself lucky enough that nobody had showed up, offering a quick prayer she dared to get a better look peeked around around the corner. sure enough they were still standing there comforting the young diclonius that was with them.
It was to her surprise that instead of walking further they just entered the front gate of the house they were standing on front of, could this possibly be the Inn they were hiding at. Surely she could not be this fortunate in just one night to stumble upon at this very moment?
Voices seemed to greet them but she had no idea who they were. Her confidence grew as she felt certain this had to be the place she had been searching for all this time.
"So it's here…" She mumbled as she had a closer look, yeah this place was definitely not mentioned in any of the guides she had gotten, judging from the look it must have been out of service for some time now which could have explained that. "I've finally found it… so Lucy lives here along with the other escaped diclonius." she giggled in delight, knowing that she had succeeded where others had failed.
Part of her was still in doubt whether she should tell it to the chief, part of her didn't want to grant him the satisfaction of having Lucy within his possession.
"Leaving Lucy on her own is a bit inconvenient for my own plans to become a god. Well I will just have to leave it to them then recover her."
With that she started to walk away, her head hanging as she wondered if it was the right thing to do to report her location. Even then she just needed to come up with a way to inform the DRI without alerting others, it would be bad for her if they came and there was nobody to be found. "I'm sorry, I really am."
The bun felt different that she was used too from the pieces of dry bread she had at the institute and the meat on it was so delicious, Ryou had no words to describe the sensation that she was having. This hamburger had to be the best one in the world. "… It's so good… can I have a second later…?" She mumbled as she kept on chewing and savoring the flavor but she hadn't even finished this one and already she wanted another.
Mako didn't mind that, she was content enough that the girls liked their food even if it was just simple fast food. Well even then it was far better than what they had been given during their time within the institute. Ryou was behaving herself nicely even if she was being a bit impatient with eating. Well having something that had to taste so good it wasn't that much of a surprise.
Kyou on the other hand was a complete and utter nightmare. After several attempts of trying to stuff what looked like the entire hamburger in her mouth it hardly looked like food anymore and it resembled closer to a wreck. "You have no manners at all, you can eat it with your hands and even then you still manage to make a complete mess of it. Just look at you, you have ketchup all over your face and even your clothes. Besides do you also need to inhale your food like that?"
"Who cares about that, just get me another one or just leave me alone. Besides it is not like I am commenting on your manners bug." She sneered as she made another attempt to stuff it in her mouth just to vex her, it really didn't bother her all that much as long as she got to eat it.
"You give me that attitude one more time and there won't be a second one for you."
Both girls dropped what they were doing in response; they didn't like the sound of that.
"...N-N-No, p-please don't. O-O-Onee-chan will behave herself." She pleaded to her as Ryou really wanted a second hamburger. "... O-O-Onee-chan please do it for my sake... I-I-I... really want... a... second..."
Caught between her sister's and her own desire for a second one Kyou just simply gave in, it just wasn't fair in her mind when they were threatening her in such a cruel way. To think that even her sister was persuaded so easily, who was she kidding she wanted a second one for herself just if not even more.
"You win this one bug." Mumbling she took a far smaller bite this time. "But don't think you have won, besides your pretty mean to threaten us with such a thing. I am not going to like you if you keep treating me like this. "
"Look who is talking now." Mako smiled as she got up from her seat and made her way towards the counter, wanting to make another order. Perhaps giving them a little surprise couldn't hurt though she wasn't sure on what to get them. Coming back with two more tasty looking hamburgers she sat down and watched the twins just helped themselves on them. "Say I have a question for you. After this why don't we go and see a movie or do you have to be home soon?"
They looked at each other in confusion, it was true that nobody had told them anything about being home on time but then they were still grounded. That did mean they needed to come back soon but then again the promise of seeing a movie sounded too good to pass.
"... We can go." They mentioned to her, their hesitation visible on their faces. Even then they still made a smile. "But what kind of movie is it?"
"Good afternoon." Kouta announced as he closed the door behind him, in front of him Yuka was already taking of her shoes. "Well let's see how their day has been?"
"You are still worried about them not picking up the phone, I think that if that assistant had found out about them that there would be police or soldiers swarming all over the place." She joked as she dropped the grocery bags, they had been lucky to get all that she needed.
Kouta wasn't all that amused by it. "That isn't funny you know, I am being serious here." This wasn't a matter for her to make jokes about, this was something that was a danger to everybody in the house, not just the horned girls but even to him, Yuka, Mayu and Nozomi. Who knew what would happen to them if they were caught?
"I know that, I worry about those girls every time I go out that door too you know. It is just that I don't want them to notice."
"Yeah you're right, well let's go inside and see what they have to say. Let me know if you need any help with making dinner."
Yuka laughed at hearing him say that. "No offense but I would rather have the girls help me, you are a pretty poor help in the kitchen but you can go and get the table ready. The sukiyaki shouldn't take that long given that Nozomi-chan prepared most of it already I, we should be able to have dinner within the hour."
Entering the kitchen she found to her dismay that not much had been done, to be frank there was nothing done on dinner at all. Yuka complained as she needed to start all the way from the beginning, not something that she was really fond of at the moment given the amount of work it involved. She needed to take back her words about being able to have dinner within the hour, this was going to take a little longer now.
She turned around and faced Kouta who by now had also noticed it. "When you see the girls tell them to come here and help me otherwise dinner is going to be a bit on the late side." She mentioned to him as he went deeper into the house, in the meantime she would already get a start and hopefully once help arrived she hoped to make good for the lost time.
"Ah Yuka-san sorry I am late, I had to run a few errands at school. I do have the extra beef you asked me for." Nozomi apologized as she entered the kitchen much to the delight of Yuka, well it seemed that at least one thing had gone as she had originally planned.
"Oh Nozomi-chan I am so glad to see you, right now I really need a hand with getting all of this ready." Noticing the look on her face she could sense there was something that made her friend feel very nervous. "Is there something that is bothering you, you can tell me?"
"I would like to talk about that during dinner with all of you present, it would mean a lot to me if you all were to know about it."
"I understand." She placed a hand on Nozomi's shoulder. "Now let's make sure there will even be a dinner for everybody to be present to, it would be shame if there was no food."
"Of course." She smiled in response as she took one of the apron's hanging from the wall. "So you told me you wanted to make an extra-large portion right, well I managed to get this from home as well." She mentioned as she reached out for a plastic shopping bag and lifted a rather large pan from it. "Would this be of any help to you?"
Yuka giggled as she saw it. "Well I certainly think it should be big enough, I didn't know you had such a pan in your possession."
Nozomi shook her head. "Neither did I but when I looked in the kitchen for something else I stumbled upon it and thought that it would be useful for what you wanted. It is alright that I brought it with me Yuka-san?."
More noise coming from the hallway told them that Kouta had found the rest of the girls.
"Aye, yeah I understand." Bando growled as he listened to her. "Yeah I will tell him but don't expect me be the one to hold him back if he gets in a bad mood because of this mess you brats caused, we have enough trouble to fucking deal with as it already is." He hung up the phone, no more need to listen any further.
"Just so you know they found her, she is back at the Inn now. Apart from a little hypothermia and some minor wounds on her feet, apparently she ran from the house not bothering to pick her shoes but she appears to be fine. Well at least in their opinion which isn't all that much if you ask me. "
It didn't do much to help keep the growling from Dreachon down, Bando swore that he sounded more like an overly pissed off grizzly bear the way he was right now and he swore he could see his teeth starting to lengthen in response to his growing annoyance.
"Who was responsible for it!?" He snarled, the steel pipe upon which his hand was resting buckled before it was crushed like an empty soda can under his steel grip, Bando grinned as he noticed the man had some issues with keeping his anger in check.
"They didn't tell me but I would bet on that horned bitch, she can be a real pain in the neck you know." Didn't matter much to him if it was true or not, well this little excursion had certainly more than enough of their time, the damn brats just couldn't keep themselves out of trouble it seemed.
"Let's go back. We have wasted enough time already on this and besides it should be about time that Hirano were to show with some info on Saseba, he is at all of those meetings so I expect at the very least a modicum of something useful."
Bando grabbed a cigarette and although he offered one to Dreachon it was rapidly declined, for that matter he was glad they were heading back towards the warehouse. With the weather outside starting to take a turn for the worse it would be better to seek shelter or at least have a place to stay dry.
"Any objections if I grab something to eat on the way back, there isn't much left and I could certainly do with a good coffee."
"Knock yourself out but make sure you don't cause any further unnecessary delay." Bando could tell that he was frustrated and not entirely present.
"You want to go to the brat and make sure she is alright? It's not that much of a walk from here."
There was another growl. "I do not need your sympathies, even if I wanted to and find out how she was doing I simply cannot do that now. Not as long as the Nexus remains closed. We have to prepare for the battle."
Bando agreed to that, there was ample of reason for them to stay at their post but the main one was keeping an eye on all the traffic going on between the various groups.
"I sure hope they will come eventually, I sure could use a good fight." Cracking his knuckles he was really eager to a fight, even Dreachon seemed pretty anxious to sink his claws into somebody but if they were to get into a fight then something had gone horribly wrong.
For those kids it was likely for the better if they would not be called upon to join the fighting at all. Irritated he stopped as his phone rang again. "With me, ah so it is you baka. Yeah he is here with me as well. Alright we will see you there."
Putting it back in his pocket he looked at him. "That was Hirano, it seems he just left the Saseba meeting and is now on his way to our warehouse. Seems like he has really urgent news for us."
"Then it will be interesting to see what this urgent news of his can be." Hearing the growling that came from the person next to him he understood that he neither expected all that much for it, unless it was something really useful there was likely going to be another waste of time.
Bando started to laugh as they approached a store.
Nana hung up the phone, Kouta had told her to go and call them to let them know that Saeko was back safely and fine, right now the last thing he needed to have now was an angry Dreachon rampaging his way through the city.
"Honestly why didn't you call us, we do deserve to know if something like this happens!" He hadn't been exactly trilled when he had found out what had happened earlier, he was just glad it was over before it could get any worse.
"We are sorry but we thought that nobody would get hurt, he didn't have to know?'
Kouta couldn't believe that she actually said that, he would have noticed the moment he laid his eyes on her. Either Saeko would tell it to him or he would notice the wounds on her feet. There was simply no way for him not notice. "Just be glad that you managed to find her before he did, I don't think he would let you two off as easily as I am. Now get yourselves ready for dinner and go help Yuka in the kitchen."
Nana nodded as she got up.
"Nyu I am disappointed in you as well, you of all people should have known better. It isn't like you to make others cry, what has gotten into you? Just be honest with me."
Nyu did her best to explain and although he agreed that what she had said to Saeko was right he couldn't agree about having said it so direct to her. That said he wasn't going to hold it against her as she had acted to what she thought in the girls best interests. Besides it was already getting pretty late and he was tired.
"Come on and let's get the table set up, dinner should be ready sooner if we go and help them."
Still wondering why Nyu had said those words that started the whole mess Kouta followed her towards the main living room as they started with setting up the table, Mayu had come back home by now as well and had already offered to help in the kitchen. For the time being Saeko stayed in her room to have some rest, her feet were already bandaged.
That said he knew there was going to be hell when Dreachon would come back later tonight, still he couldn't blame him as this time it was their own stupid fault.
"It's sukiyaki! It's sukiyaki!" Nana cried with excitement as she kept her eyes trained of the damping pan in front of her, the sweet smell had already filled the room and she just couldn't wait any longer for her to dig in.
"Nana-san… the meat is still raw." Mayu cautioned her but the attemtp was in vain as Nana already grabbed a piece of beef even though it was even done yet, without hesitation she swallowed in down in one go.
Working it down without even chewing on it, she smiled. "That tasted so good!" She picked up a second piece as her stomach kept rumbling.
Kouta smiled as it was good to see her happy again, Nyu followed her example as well but her smiling didn't help much to hide the fact that she had been crying. "Yeah it tastes really good, thank you Yuka-san for it." She gulped down a piece of the meat herself.
"Ah Nozomi-chan is there something wrong? You haven't eaten anything yet." He mentioned as she just sat there, chopsticks still in her hand but with nothing on her plate. He wondered if something had happened that made her seem so reluctant, no not reluctant. This was something entirely different but he just couldn't come up with the right words for it.
"… Aah… umm… it's because…" Mumbling several words she then hesitated as her nerves were starting to get the better of her.
Sensing the grow anxiety in her best friend Yuka was the one who got up and stepped forward. "Nozomi-chan's results for the entrance exam should come in today." She then explained to those seated what exactly the reason was for Nozomi's acting the way she was.
The others stopped with eating as they all listened to what she had to say. Sure they knew that Nozomi had recently participated in the entrance exams but they didn't know that the result would be coming in so soon already. Honestly they were a little surprised that in the next few days or even possibly today it could already arrive.
"Her family still opposes going to the music college despite her best efforts, that is why she wants to have it delivered here instead of at her home." Yuka looked outside; the snow was starting to get worse. "I wonder if it is because of the snow that it isn't delivered yet?"
Well that did explain why she looked so nervous, with her results coming in at every moment know it was no surprise that she couldn't eat anything. Kouta guessed that he himself likely would feel the same if it were him instead. And now with the weather getting worse there was no telling when or even if it was going to be delivered today, the poor girl must be losing it if this keeps on going.
The sound of an approaching scooter caught their immediate attention, could it be? "It's here, it's the sound of the scooter." They all listened as the noise died down, it had stopped. Yuka wasted no time as she ran towards the front door "I'll go and check it, you stay here Nozomi-chan."
Nozomi sitting there paralyzed couldn't take her eyes away from the table, she was becoming so nervous at the thought of getting her results, what if she had failed?
They all waited with baited breath until Yuka finally came back, she had a serious look on her face. "Uhm… Nozomi-chan, the truth is… it's the tofu delivery man."
Their collective heads banged on the table at hearing that rather unfunny witty remark, Nozomi was about to reach the end of her patience and it had been already overstretched since the start.
"Well I guess you just can't eat at ease with all of this commotion going on." Taking a bite he could very well understand how Nozomi had to be feeling at this point, maybe it would be better if she went upstairs and lied down for a moment. He was feeling sorry for her, to think that at a time like this she was without the support of her family. Being here with the other residents of the Inn who in fact did support her desire must be a great comfort for her.
"... Please don't worry about me..." Nozomi mentioned, finally breaking the uneasy silence she had been keeping. "... I have come to realize that the things I could have done have already been done... it is no longer within my hands..."
"That is true." Yuka mentioned, she felt proud after hearing her say that. Hopefully if she kept telling that to herself enough her worries would subside eventually.
"... Plus…" She started to blush. "... It is really nothing to be concerned about..."
"Anyway Nozomi-chan, you shouldn't take it too seriously for your own sake." Kouta interrupted her, not a decent thing to do but one he felt compelled to do anyway, she had to know that no matter what the result might be that she had given it her best. Nobody could have asked more of her.
"There's nothing you can do about the results right? I know a lot about your good points and you should be proud of those as well."
It made Nozomi blush even more at hearing that and caused Yuka to have a twitch in her eye. "Look who's talking, Kouta knows a lot about Nozomi-chan right?" She sneered at him. "Even though he doesn't remember the wonderful memories when he and I were kids"!?
"Ahh… that's not…" He already felt what was going to happen next but he couldn't come up with a suitable excuse at the moment.
Luckily Nozomi was there to rescue him. "Ummm… and… uhhh… I have a favor to ask of you?" The earlier hesitation in her voice that had been pretty obvious to them both vanished all of a sudden. They wondered kind of a favor could prompt her to become so certain of herself?
"If I got accepted… uhmmm. Then I too would like to go to school from here... uhhhhh since… school would be closer from here." There was a moment of silence but Nozomi was the one who took it in a bad way. "A… as I thought, I was a little too bold right…?"
Kouta and Yuka smiled, somewhere in their minds they had already expected such a request from her. They were not surprised in the least as they had actually already discussed this before and had came to an agreement back then.
"Not at all Nozomi-chan, we'd gladly welcome you in our home. Don't be that uptight okay?" A quick glance at Kouta was all Yuka needed to make him agree
Hearing her say that her eyes lit up with delight, Nozomi was thrilled to know that it was fine for to stay here. "Than… thank you so much, both of you thank you." She wanted to say more but before she got the chance she got jumped by both Nana and Saeko as they joined her in giggling.
"Wait! That means we can be together with Nozomi-san all day!?" They cried in unison as their excitement reached a new level.
"Ah… that's a little premature, I still don't know if I have passed the exam." She wanted to explain to them but neither seemed to care for that now.
Grabbing her cup Nana presented it to Kouta. "I AM SO HYPED! KOUTA MORE SAKE!" She demanded.
"Hah you are not getting it, you are going to get drunk." And yet even despite his words he handed her the bottle, maybe just a little couldn't hurt them as the mood was already pretty festive.
"Seriously that was really fun. Everyone is here again. The unease and sadness minutes ago seems to be completely blown away. Thus a meal with everyone, as if this is the last one." He thought to himself as he had a good look at everybody who was seated at the table.
Even with the twins not here at the moment it still felt like the whole family was complete again, it seemed to make all the hardship they had to endure until now worth it just for everybody being here and having fun together.
Bringing some of the dishes into the kitchen Kouta was surprised when he found Nozomi busy with washing them. "Nozomi-chan you don't have to do all of the cleaning, just the others help as well. You don't have to do everything by yourself you know?"
"But I've been eating here all the time, it is only fair if I do my share of the cleaning as well. Besides I am going to become a tenant as well if I'm lucky." Still cleaning the dishes she kept her gaze away from him, she had a good point which Kouta had to admit.
"College… how I wish I could be admitted.' She mumbled but as she said it her legs started to tremble, falling over she quickly grabbed a hold of him.
"N-Nozomi-chan!?" Kouta gasped as he caught her, it was a good thing that he had been standing right next to her to arrest her fall in time.
She started to shake, clearly something had must be troubling her. "To tell you the truth… I am really scared… I've loved to sing ever since I was little but my father and the rest of family said that I couldn't. Because of that, I could only teach myself. I never had the beneift of having a teacher to help me."
Why was she giving him such a confession at this moment? Had she been hiding this from them all this time? Was this how she was really feeling about it? Even so there wasn't a need for her to be scared about it, everybody would understand, nobody would blame her for anything.
"I didn't take any singing lesson for fear of them finding out. Who could have thought that during the same exam everyone wanted to be famous singer? That everyone who participated in it would be so talented?" Tears were running down her face, yeah this was how she was truly feeling, her fear of her family finding out was now being outmatched by her fear of not passing the exam.
"I'm really… not… expecting…to pass it." She sobbed as she still held to him for dear life. "I don't… know anything… about music, you see..."
He had heard enough, Kouta rebuked. "If one only learns to sing from others their songs would be dull. When I listen to your songs I can feel your joy, that makes me feel very pleasant. That is not something you can learn from others so to me I did not feel any flaws to your performance Nozomi-chan."
"T-Thank you..." She whispered as she began to blush again though she now seemed to be more at ease for the moment, still he could notice there was something wrong with her but what could it be this time.
"Ah Nozomi-chan? Is there something wrong? Are you feeling alright?"
"I-I… I think I… wet myself again..." She admitted as her face turned bright red from the shame. Excusing herself she rushed towards the toilet. Locking the door behind her wait for a few moments to make sure that nobody would be in the hallway as well.
"I did it, I didn't wet myself but I did make him belief I did." Looking down at her diaper a feeling of shame came over her, it felt wrong what she had done. "No, no, no. what am I thinking?" Letting out a sigh she wondered if it would be better to just come forth and confess it to him.
Shaking her head she realized it then. "Kouta's the one who Yuka-senpai likes… so…"
The sound of another scooter approaching pull her back from her thoughts.
Yuka pulled open the door. "KOUTA! There's the sound of a scooter again!"
He came rushing over as fast he could, by now he had heard the noise as well and this one also seemed to have stopped. "Is it the one?"
Nozomi came out to meet them. "Kouta-san... Yuka-san... I'm too scared too…" Behind her the other girls came forward to comfort her. Saeko wrapped her arms around her. "It's okay Nozomi-san, we all want you to pass this exam, we want you to be happy."
"I understand." Kouta nodded, the girls should help her now. "I will go and check it out for you, just be strong." Leaving them he headed for the front gate, getting closer he could hear the idling of the engine. Yes that scooter was parked in front of the main gate alright.
Yuka waited along with the others and their hope got higher as they heard the door open and Kouta stepping outside, he seemed to be gone what appeared an eternity and looking at Nozomi she could only imagine what was going through her head right now. Mayu and Nana had their fingers crossed while Saeko held on to one of Nozomi's hands.
Moments later they heard the door closing again and footsteps coming towards them, they were all getting nervous as he appeared at the door. Holding his hand in the air they could all see the small envelope he held in his hand. "Nozomi-chan." He said. "It is here, the results of your entrance exam."
She started to tremble as she looked at it. "May I… ask for the results…?" she wasn't able to get the words right, her hand was shaking uncontrollably.
"Is it okay for me to open it instead, I can read you the result if you prefer?"
With some reluctance she nodded her approval of them doing it for her, she didn't know if she could keep herself dry this time if she wanted too, the strain on her nerves was becoming too much for her to bear as he opened the envelope and unfolded the letter inside. Her throat became dry as he was about to say the first word, she held her breath.
They all screamed for their lives as without warning the window behind them burst opening, glass splinters were sent flying through the room as armed men stormed inside. Moving swiftly and with their weapons trained they took up position, making sure to keep the startled residents under gunpoint.
"I have to ask you people something?" A blonde haired man mentioned as he stepped inside. Unlike the men that accompanied him he didn't seem to be aware of the intrusion they had made for themselves. "Just answer me honestly, any resistance from you is futile. It is in your own best interest to comply and answer my question." Little girls clad in black skin-tight suit clanged around him as a blonde haired woman looked at them. They had been caught.
"For your own safety I highly recommend you to coöperate with us." He smiled as he took a bite from what look like some sweet. "Just one really simple question. That is all. Answer that one and you will all be able to leave unharmed, I give you my word."
