New chapter! Be warned: kind of fluffy. I know, UGH, but still read it!

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I put Seans name in this chapter in place of Ryan's . Sorry for the confusion. Fixed now!

Percy, Annabeth and Ryan were watching the promo's that Tyler had emailed her on her laptop, which featured lots of voiceovers and quite a few seconds of them giving each other meaningful glares.

"I swear, if I was watching this on T.V, I would probably hate myself." Said Annabeth, cringing.

"Price that you pay to find lurrrrrv, right?" said Ryan, flopping onto the white leather (and very easily stainable) couch.

When Annabeth, Percy and Ryan wheeled their suitcases into the house, their jaw dropped. They hadn't expected something this elaborate. Upon questioning Tyler how he managed to find a place that was worthy of an interior design magazine (Annabeth should know, she sometimes worked with interior decorators after her company's building were constructed), he just shrugged and said that if they were going to film them 24/7, they might as well make the place T.V-worthy.

The living room was immaculate, although Percy and Ryan managed to defile within the two hours they had been there, with hardwood flooring (Annabeth yelled at Tyler about useless consumption of wood until he told her the hardwood was laminate, so it was fake), the aforementioned white leather couches, and best of all, (and what Percy liked the best), a wall that was two sheets of glass with an aquarium between the two panes. Annabeth was scared it might crack and they would have water (and fish) spilling everywhere, but Percy seemed to like his 'fish wall', as he called it.

There was thankfully less tension now that the only people left were people she actually knew, but she could sense some tension between Percy and Ryan. 'Like a threesome, but without the sex', as Ryan eloquently put it later.

An additional plus: there were little cameras attached to every conceivable surface (thankfully excluding the bathroom) instead of creepy cameramen everywhere, which was what Annabeth had feared.

"Uh, I'm going to go take a shower, and then I have to ask one of you out on a date, so…"

"So…?" Percy and Ryan said in unison.

"Um… Ryan, can you come?"

"This is awkward. I mean, yeah I'll come." was Ryan's reply.

Ugh, it was awkward. Annabeth took him out afterwards, and one of the perks of being in San Francisco was that they could have really chill dates. She wanted to talk to them before going on 'fun' dates with both of them, for painfully obvious reasons.

They got all of the camera content out of the way. They held hands and had really deep conversations and shared their innermost feelings with each other untill the cameramen said they had more than enough stupidly dramatic content.

When they had finally packed up and left, Annabeth and Ryan both sighed in relief.

"Is there, like, tension between you and Percy? I mean, that's a stupid question, of course there's tension between you and Percy, I mean, is everything okay between you two?" she blurted out right after they left.

"Yes, it is, Annabeth." sighed Ryan. "You don't have to worry about me and Percy any more, okay? I don't want to ruin what's left of the date.

She bit her tongue and didn't ask any more questions. She had taken Ryan out sightseeing and was pleasantly surprised when Ryan knew a little bit about some of the attractions.

"How did you know all of that about Golden Gate Bridge?"

"You told me that, when we were… uh- eight years ago." Said Ryan. Annabeth couldn't help but notice the tinge of sadness in his voice.

"But how did you remember all of that?"

"I remember everything you ever told me." Ryan said bitterly.

"You have an impeccable memory."

"Yeah, I do. I especially remember the time when you told me you loved me and you would never break up."

Annabeth should have felt sorry for him, but instead found her eyes narrowing in annoyance. "Are you still going to bring that up? Stop being a baby, you were the one that cheated on me."

"Did I, Annabeth? Did you ever walk in on me doing it? Or did I just tell you afterwards?" Ryan said, agitated.

"What does that even me- oh. Did my dad make you do it?" Annabeth said pointedly.

"Yeah. I needed for you to realize that on your own, but you were taking too long." said Ryan, relieved.

Which made Annabeth even more annoyed.

"So you didn't break up with me because you had another girlfriend. You broke up with me because my precious father told you to. And you nodded and went along with it because, what? Did you want the money?"

"He didn't offer me any money."

"Then why? You were sick of me and this was the first excuse you got to leave?" Annabeth half-shouted.

"Your dad gave me an offer. A job offer. But only if I broke up with you. I shouldn't have done that, I'm sorry, but you're missing the point-"

"Missing the POINT? You do realize that you just made it worse? You valued a job offer over me. What even was the job offer? You know what? Don't answer that." shouted Annabeth, earning her quite a few stares from passers-by.

"There was no job offer. He tricked me. He didn't want you near me when he discovered my career was going nowhere, because I was on drugs. You know why I was on drugs? Because I was depressed. Would you also like to know why I was depressed? Because any fool with vision could see that you were in love with Percy," Ryan spat. "And I broke up with you when it became increasingly apparent. I wanted to give you a chance to go after the person you actually wanted."

Annabeth was deflated. That was horrible. And completely true.

"I'm… so sorry." Were the only words she was able to get out.

"Don't be. I'm over that."

"No, you're not. Otherwise you wouldn't be here and you wouldn't have told me that."

"You didn't deny the fact that I said you were in love with Percy."

"Were you expecting me to deny it?" Annabeth inquired

"No."

"The point is, I'm not in love with him now, and you have to trust me. I won't waste your time." Said Annabeth, crossing her arms.

"Then why is he here?"

"Because I'm not in love with you either." Annabeth said, plainly. No more lies.

"I think I have the potential to change that." Ryan said.

"I think so, too. If you keep being honest with me." Annabeth said, a small smile playing on her lips.

And when he kissed her for the first time in a decade, Annabeth knew he was being honest. She could feel it pulsing through his blood, feel it through the movement of his lips, feel it radiating through his very skin and knew instantly that she liked him. More than that conversation warranted. Which made her wonder if she was really over him, either.

Percy was tense, sitting in the corner of the living room, twiddling his thumbs. Ryan and Annabeth had been gone for… three hours, forty seven minutes and thirteen seconds. Yes, he knew he was being paranoid but he continued to stare blankly at the T.V screen that was playing some kind of cartoon and checking his watch every two minutes. He was startled out of his wits when the doorbell rang.

Palms sweating with anticipation, he answered it. He didn't want the date to have gone well. Crap, it probably went well.

"Hey, Annabeth, how'd the date go?" Percy said.

"Hi, Annabeth! I called the producers, and they gave me the address when I said-" Thalia Grace started off at the same time.

"Oh… hi, Percy. I came to see Annabeth." Thalia started again.

"Evidently. Come in!" Percy said, masking his nervousness.

"So, how's T.V life been?" she said, flopping onto the couch like she owned the place.

"Dramatic. Stressful. Confusing. Everything in between?" Percy said, while Thalia laughed.

"Don't worry, I think you have a better shot with Annabeth than that Ryan guy. I didn't like him even when they were going out."

"He was kind of an asshole, wasn't he?"

"Understatement of the year." Thalia nodded in agreement.

"By the way, what bring you to this city, and why are the producers giving out our address to random people?"

"I'm hardly a random person, am I? I had to show the photos of the two of us, plus get Annabeth on the phone with them before they authorized her to give out the address to me. Why does nobody trust me?" Thalia said.

"Might be the punk rock look. Maybe the piercings and tattoos. Maybe the silver chains do something to the picture, too." Said Percy, only half-joking.

"Shut up. You know you like all of this." said Thalia, gesturing towards her torso.

"Maybe I could date you if it doesn't work out with Annabeth." Percy joked.

"Yeah, maybe you could." said Annabeth, leaning against the open doorframe.

"Annabeth!" Thalia squealed, and jumped out of her seat to hug her. They then proceeded to babble in what seemed like another fast, high pitched language, punctuated by shrieks and squeals alike.

"You weren't this excited to see me, Thalia." Percy grumbled.

"Hi, Ryan." Thalia said awkwardly, when she and Annabeth had finished whatever you would call that.

"Hi. Long time, no see."

"Wait… do you want the four of us to go to dinner together, right now? Annabeth said. Judging by the sound Thalia made, she agreed.

"Will the producers like it, though? Would you mind?" Percy asked, looking at the camera attached to the ceiling.

"Screw the producers. Let's go!" Thalia said.

After the dinner, Annabeth and Thalia were changing into pajamas in the bedroom.

"Okay. Now let the real talk begin." Thalia said.

"Fine. What do you want to know?" Annabeth asked. She was used to being interrogated like this.

"Have you had sex with either one of them yet?"

"What? No! I've been on this show with them for only about a week! And, anyways, you know I can't, because I'm…" Annabeth said, as she felt the blood rushing to her face.

"Okay, fine. You've kissed them both, right?"

"Only one." Annabeth said, as Thalia cried out in exasperation.

"Let me guess… Percy?" Annabeth shook her head.

"You didn't kiss that asshat!" Thalia cried incredulously.

"He's not an asshat, okay? I just… misjudged him." Annabeth said.

As she began to explain, Thalia's expression turned from an indignant one to a giant smirk.

"I've never heard you admit you misjudged someone." Thalia smiled.

"Yeah, but I messed this one up bad."

"But, were you honest with him?"

"What do you mean?"

"You still don't like Percy? Big fat lie. From what I gathered in the restaurant today, at least. Even Ryan noticed the little looks you both kept shooting at each other."

"Look I don't know how I feel bout Percy, okay?" Annabeth exclaimed.

She made up her mind, partly, later that night. She tossed and turned in her bed, conversations with Ryan from earlier in the day floating around in her head before she gave up on sleep and padded down to the kitchen in her socks to get a glass of water.

When she turned on the light, Percy was sitting on the chair near the island with a glass of wine in hand.

"OH MY GOD! Percy, don't scare me like that!"

He laughed. "Want some?" he said, gesturing towards the bottle.

"I could use a glass, for sure." Annabeth said, sitting down at the island.

"Why? What's going on?"

"You, you idiot."

"Why? What's not to understand about me? I've told you everything." Percy said quietly.

"I know it's not you, it's me, Percy. My head's cloudy. I don't understand how you feel, even though you've explained it to me a thousand times, probably."

"I've never heard a child of Athena say her head's cloudy."

"The thing is, Percy, my head's never been cloudy. I was in love with you when I was dating Ryan, but-"

"Wait, what?"

"-and now I don't know how to feel any more."

"We were both in love with each other while you were dating Ryan?"

"Yes. Shut up."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Percy said, amused.

"This wasn't the reaction I was expecting. Shut up, asshat."

"Asshat?" Percy said, eyebrows raised and even more amused.

"Oh, gods, shut up and kiss me, Percy!"

Chuckling, Percy sat down and slowly closed the gap between his lips and hers. With Ryan, Annabeth felt honesty, but with Percy… Annabeth felt right. She would rather die than tell anyone that, but there you go.

"You know you love me!" Percy said playfully, after they broke apart.

"I know I do. Well, I don't know about love, but-"

"Gods, stop being so technical, smarty-pants." Said Percy, rolling his eyes.

"Smarty-pants?"

"Shut up and kiss me, Annabeth!"

They had a few seconds of near-silence and near-bliss before a sleepy (and scary) Thalia burst into the kitchen, demanding that they both go to sleep. Except they didn't. They went to Annabeth's room and (they didn't do what any of you are thinking!) sat on the bed and talked (and maybe smooched a little) for hours. Night time chats were their thing, weirdly. And Annabeth loved it. Well, maybe not loved it, exactly, but- oops. She was being a smarty-pants.

I don't know if I'm doing this romanshy shtuff right. I don't usually write like this. Oh well.

Anyway, I've decided I'm going to reply to all the reviews that come in, at the top of each chapter, so if you have any questions or criticism or whatever, REVIEW!

Now!

I'm serious. Do it. Pweety pweese.
