Yamada took a step back as she saw the ruined face staring back at her, no doubt one of the grenades she had fired must have found it's mark against the helmet it carried. The left side of the helmet was just a ruined mess, likely what was beneath was a mess as well but still to think this could have survived such a shot.

"This ends here now!" It snarled and with a loud clunk the helmet fell on the ground, the bloodied and ruined face looking down upon her, a single blood red eye staring back at her.

"You have blinded me with my own blood but know that the only strike I will permit, now rejoice yourself for the coming oblivion as not a single one of you shall leave this ship alive!"

Massive fangs greeted her and it only fed the fear the remainder of the guard was, taken over by terror they all started to fall back to get away from this daemon.

"Running will only lead to you dying exhausted but by all means fall upon your own blades to satiate your honor as I will grant you none!"

The closest man was the first one to die as it leaped forward, the massive blade cutting him open from groin to chin, another man who could not move out of the way fast enough suffered a similar horrifying fate.

"Sight your target, fire at will!" Cries and shouts echoed throughout the ruined hull, those men who had survived seemed to understand this was going to be an all-out battle of survival. There would be no running from this fight, it was either kill or be killed. They brought everything they could muster to stop his implacable advance, the torn bodies of those that had been to slow lay at his feet, his armor damaged beyond repair it howled in agonized fury as more and more shots started to breach it. He staggered as a heavy shell punched through the already damaged chest plate, he could feel chunks of the reinforce ribcage imbedding themselves in his flesh.

"We can make it bleed! We can kill it! Don't hold back!" These humans were desperate, the entire area was rank with it, they were afraid to die but even so they were planning to sell their hides at the highest price. Good if that was what it was going to take then so be it, he had already made his peace with the emperor knowing that he was likely going to die here.

As he pushed himself he spun on his knee as a shell clipped his shoulder guard, within this confined area there was not enough room for him to avoid their fire. All that he could do was the wither their fire and get close enough, still he was not without ways to make them scatter.

The dispenser on his hip released a couple of grenades, pressing their trigger he tossed them and waited. Men tried to flee in terror but their reaction was to slow as both grenades exploded in a ball of plasma, their charred remains littering the causeway.

"YOU MONSTER!" A man roared a he came charging in, carrying a long rod on both of arms he trusted it into Dreachon's side. Blinded for a brief moment by the grenades he had allowed himself a vulnerable weak spot, to think that one human could have been so audacious enough to charge at him. It was amusing that this human had even succeeded.

"A monster? Yes that is what I am human, tremble in fear before me as I will honor you with a brutal death, let me show you how monstrous I can be." He snarled as he threw back his head allowing his jaws to widen. Lunging forward they snapped shut around the man's head, with a bone crushing thug the man's body was thrown through the air.

Yamada watched in disgust as his face was missing, this thing really was a monster alright.

"I want your head." She snarled as she raised the barrel of her gun and pressed the trigger. The rounds impacted against the armor but their effect was only minimal.

"Then come, I will send each and every one of you screaming to hell."

Her fire had less effect that she had hoped, she needed a new angle if she wanted to stop his advance. As she gazed upwards she noticed the damage section of the launch rail, taking aim with her rifle she racked the arming slide for the unslung grenade launcher and fired.

"Everybody take cover!" She yelled as the first round detonated against the structure, already weakened the second grenade brought it all tumbling down. The noise was deafening and the dust created blocked her sight of her adversary, but she was certain that it was caught underneath.

Saeko was sleeping there or at least she was trying to sleep but many reasons kept her awake even if she was starting to become pretty exhausted. Along with Nana they had been running to get away from the city but despite her constant questioning Nana hadn't really answered why they needed to leave fast.

Her mind was a mess at the moment, she couldn't even think straight after all that had happened, after how she was feeling right now. Nyu had been taken away, Kouta, Nozomi Nana and even herself had been hurt, it just wasn't right that it had happened to them. Why had a bad thing happened to them when she was being a good girl, didn't she deserve to have only good things to happen to her if she did her best?

And then there was that her master had not shown up like he had promised to her, he had promised to keep her safe from harm, why hadn't he shown up? She felt betrayed by him, had he been planning on this all along, was that why he had told Yuka that she could never go with him?

She didn't want to think about it anymore, the chance of it being true was too painful for her to bear at the moment. She did not want to believe that her master would ever betray her, not after all the nice things he had done for her, surely her master would not betray her as long as she remained a good girl. "… Did master… really betray me… does master… hate me… why doesn't master come… I want to be… at master's side… I want… master… to come save me."

Her thoughts started to wander off as Nana rolled over, even now with her lying next to her she was having trouble to even sense her. Was she really in so much turmoil that she wasn't even aware of what was going around her.

"Why… why were you living with humans? Haven't you heard the voice… the voice… telling us to kill all of mankind." A new and unknown voice spoke to her, Saeko got up from the fear as she had not heard anybody approaching them, looking around she was surprised to see this girl just hovering there in front of them, how could she not have sensed a diclonius coming for them?

"You… must be traitors!" She spoke again and as she saw the girl's eyes Saeko understood that this one was not in a kind mood, her ravaged appearance making the look in her eyes all the more foreboding. She wondered what terrible accident must have happened to her to make her appear like this, almost entirely naked her body was covered with burn marks, most of her hair was gone as well. She was feeling sorry for this girl to be like this, had she been treated bad by other humans? "A-Are you in pain?"

"Don't you dare to even speak to me after living with humans!" The girl retorted to her.

"What have they done to you?" Saeko begged her as she could not stand the sight of seeing another one of her kin being tortured like this. "You did not deserve what they did to you."

Awoken by the commotion Nana looked up to see what was going on but even then the moment she had awoken she had already sensed the present of another, there was diclonius here and another one was on its way.

"… Mariko-chan…" She gasped in confusion as she saw the girls face, how was this even possible? She had seen Mariko and papa die that very night with her own eyes. "…H-How did you… survive… did papa… did papa... make it as well!?" Jumping forward she grabbed her in a tight embrace, hugging her she wasn't going to let go seeing that she was still alive.

"Ehh!? Barbara was taken aback by this, this was not what she had expected. "UWAA!" She cried as Nana wrapped her arms around her, partly from the pain of her burned skin and partly as she was taken by surprise.

"MARIKO-CHAN YOU CAME BACK! WHERE IS PAPA!?" Nana cried with excitement at seeing her again. "ARE YOU WELL!? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN MARIKO-CHAN!?"

Barbara stumbled over her own words. "Wai.. wait…" This was becoming too much for her to handle, it was confusing to her.

"GET OFF ME!" She howled as she lashed out with her vectors, catching Nana in the face she was flung backwards. "MY NAME IS NOT MARIKO OR SOMETHING! YOU WANT TO DIE THAT BADLY!?" Her blood was up as she managed to compose herself, she wouldn't let herself be taken aback a second by one who trafficked with humans.

"Stop this! Don't hurt her!" Saeko was up on her feet before she even knew it, standing guard over Nana she wasn't going to let her get hurt. Even if this girl was one of their kind she couldn't allow her to her one of her friends.

"So now you're going to protect her well traitors like you are all the same, living with humans like they can be lived with. They are so disgusting!" Her face contorted as Barbara thought about all the pain that she had suffered at the hands of humans. "I am going to make you pay and then deal with your human companions."

"No!" Nana coughed as she picked herself up. "I will not let you, I am your opponent!"

She was still shaking a bit but she had done it, looking back at it seemed rather simple but at that time she was scared to even attempt it. Now with the main component removed it seemed that her breathing had become a little easier, still she had fallen unconscious the moment she had disconnected the unit. With it lying there in one of the trays she was fascinated and yet it felt wrong to her, luckily the removal of it appeared at the moment not to have any ill effects, there was no blood that came gushing out of the wound nor had it proven to be fatal for the girl.

Still cradling her Arakawa allowed the girl to rest her head on her lap, it felt surprisingly pleasant the way she rested there. Somewhere deep inside of herself she wondered if this was one of those things she had passed up for good when she had chosen a career over a family.

Was this how a mother could feel towards her daughter? "A-Are you alright? How are you feeling?" She had said the words even before she was aware of them, to think she was being honestly concerned about this girl's life was a strange experience to her.

Part of her wanted to let the girl rest but she was also aware that time was something that was not on their side, if they wanted to make it out of here alive then she needed to move fast and although she likely could make it without the girl the truth was that it felt wrong to just leave her like this. Not after what she had done for her.

Diclonius or no diclonius she was not going to abandon her, she might as well do at least something right for one of these unfortunate girls. Finally she started to move again and a small smile briefly appeared on her face. "How are you feeling? Don't get up to fast okay?"

She rolled over and before trying to stand up again, the smile she had on her face was still there and it made Arakawa feel good about herself.

"Thank god." She whispered as the girl seemed to be fine, that she could stand on her own feet was a good sign. "It looks like you can move. Well then let's hurry up and get out of here. You will need to protect me so I won't get killed by the others."

Turning around to reach out for the case she heard the girl speak but it was not the single phrase she had kept repeating over and over until now.

"Are you stupid or something? You said I am supposed to keep you from getting killed? I am the one who is going to kill you human." It was a totally different voice than before, already she could feel the actual bile and venom behind it, what had happened to her that had caused her to change like that?

As she glanced over her shoulder she could see the cold look in her eyes, there was nothing there except blind hatred towards her. Had it been the device, had she done this by removing part of it? To think that she was going to get killed

"I will splatter your flesh all over the ground human! I will-." The girl was cut off as somebody reached out from behind her and before either of them could react inserted the part.

With a whirring click it locked into place again, she stood there frozen for a moment until her eyes turned hazy again, looking around like she was confused the girl started to cry. "Myuu."

Arakawa was still trying to recover from what had just happened.

"What the hell do you think you were doing!? You want to get yourself killed!?" This new woman snapped at her on the spot, it seemed she was not one to hide behind the bush.

"HAH!?" Arakawa yelled as she eyed this woman, sure she had likely just saved her life but that was still no way to treat her. "LET ALONE APPEARING OUT OF NOWHERE ALL OF A SUDDEN, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" She let her know that she was not going to take this. "AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU ANYWAY!?"

"Me…?" The woman scraped her throat. "I am from another research facility."

She didn't know how to respond to this. "… Another research facility... what the hell?"

The woman looked around but she quickly started to move towards the door again. "I am getting off this island. If you don't want to die then just follow me."

"AAH!" She cried as she watched the woman leave. "YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT!?" Arakawa had wanted to yell something else but before she could even say it a thunderous noise swept upwards, covering her ears she fell to the floor, even if the girl was affected as she jumped on the spot. This was not a good omen to her, they needed to leave.

"NO NOT AGAIN!? WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT!?" Gazing down the hole she couldn't pull her eyes away from it, just what was happening.

The woman stepped next to her. "The hole appears to be getting bigger, if this keeps going like this the institute will started to collapse in on itself.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON DOWN THERE!?" Arakawa screamed as she noticed it as well, would could possibly be the cause for all of this.

Barbara laughed as she heard that. "I'm surprised…" She spat as she eyed her opponent. "How are you going to win when you have such a short range? Have you forgotten how it ended up for you the last time?"

"Recently, only painful things have been happening to me." Nana whispered as she took a confident step forward.

Hearing her say that made Barbara grin with excitement despite the pain that was wracking her body. As she opened her eyes she was shocked that she was gone. "She disappeared? How did she-?" There a light crack somewhere behind her. "When did she-?" Turning around to attack it was too little too late as she took the full brunt of Nana's attack to the face. Rolling across the ground she had little time to realize what had just happened. "Guah…" She coughed.

Nana was laughing at her overconfidence. "How are you going to win when your vectors are so slow, you think too much of yourself just by having a longer reach than me."

"SHUT UP! With an equal mix of anger and fear she cried out, Barbara wasn't going to be belittled like that. Infuriated by the taunting she was receiving her vectors shot out towards Nana but like before she watched in dismay as she easily avoided her clumsy vectors when she lifted herself into the air. Using her vectors to pull herself into the threes she lost sight of her.

To slow to keep up with her the next thing that Barbara knew was when she got kicked in the neck, it happened so fast she wasn't even aware of it until she was lying face down in the dirt.

Nana wasn't too happy with having to fight like this but right now this girl wasn't going to listen to any reason, if what she had said before was right then she was one of those girls who had accompanied those men when they had stormed the Inn.

Seeing her lying there on the ground, panting and trying to catch her breath Nana was feeling sorry for her. She hadn't done anything wrong and already she had been warped by the foulness of the institute, she pitied this girl who wasn't even given a chance. Unlike Mariko who had at least for a brief moment experienced kindness and affection there was no such thing for her. "You are naïve, you thought that just by having a longer reach than me that you was going to win this fight. I am holding back because I feel sorry for you."

She watched as the girl struggled to get up, seems like her body was pretty weak even she was already this exhausted but then she likely was also in a lot of pain given to how her body was. These people did not deserve a pleasant death for having done that to her.

"I am not afraid of you because I know your reach before this fight even started, I only lost back then when it was four on one." Looking over towards Saeko she was unsure on how to proceed, she couldn't just harm this girl in front of her eyes but she could also not allow her to remain a threat to either of them. "I don't want to do this honestly but mischievous children should be punished, for the time being I will just numb your vectors."

She giggled in response. "So onee-chan… are you going to finish me off now? Will you end the misery I have been through to protect your precious humans? How disgusting it is to see one of my kind like that."

"Nana-san stop!"

Nana watched as she was called out. "Ah… Saeko-san don't get any closer, she is dangerous. You should stay away from her, she and the others attacked us!"

"Even so, I… I… I don't want to turn my back on one of our kind, haven't we already suffered enough at the hands of those wanting to abuse us. She is just like me, she has never known about the good things in life. Doesn't she deserve a chance?"

Nana rebuked. "But she attacked us first!?"

Saeko sighed at hearing that, she couldn't ignore that but still she felt determined to help this girl. Still mourning that so many of her kin never had such a chance she wasn't planning to back down, getting in between the two of them she held up her arms. "I can't let you harm her, I want-."She stopped midsentence as something felt wrong.

Behind them both Barbara giggled as her vectors were plunged deep inside the head of Saeko. "Onee-chan… that was pretty stupid of you." Grinning she gazed at Nana who stood there mortified. "Did you… think that after…doing those things… to me that it would just… be the end… you disappoint me onee-chan. Try to do something I don't like… and I will splatter her brain."

His face not showing any sign of emotion as the arm of his daughter was sliced off at the shoulder, chief Kakuzawa watched as she crashed onto the edge of the basin. "Anna… why?" Was al lthat he had to ask.

Kaede stood there watching. "You piss me off!" With a sneer she said those words but before she could usher another insult towards him she suddenly dropped her knees as her chest felt like it was on fire, she couldn't stop coughing but as she looked on the floor it was stained with her blood.

Looking at her bloodied hand she asked what was wrong, had he done something to her.

"Lucy, the increment of your power is beyond my expectations. Who knew that the diclonius could even hold this kind of raw power." His attention was drawn to the gaping hole in the ceiling, it was truly remarkable that she had been able to cause such damage, he wondered how far up it would go as there was nothing but darkness.

"But no matter how great your powers truly are, it is limited by your physical being. It isn't limitless nor can you keep using it like this, keep using it like that and the entropy will eventually destroy your body."

Seeing his gaze returning back to her Kaede was not amused but what he said also gave her reason for concern, if she kept acting like this her powers would become her own undoing. She couldn't allow that to happen, not without seeing Kouta at least one more time.

"Don't worry." She smiled. "I still have enough to end all the suffering you have caused."

Before she could say another word the hulking form of Anna towered over her. "I WON'T LET YOU KILL MY FATHER!" Her arm came crashing down towards her.

Kaede grinned as the arm was sliced clean off, as it fell down it destroyed countless pieces of equipment but she paid the price for it as the burning in her chest only got worse. She didn't know how much of her blood she was coughing up, it almost felt she was going to drown in it. Looking up the monstrous malformed eyes were staring at her.

"I WON'T…" Her head disappeared in a shower of blood as it crashed onto the platform.

Kaede had to jump out of the way to avoid getting crushed but even so she was starting to feel horrible. The chief seeing it happen stepped forward. "That is enough. Anna… why did it turn out this way?"

"FATHER." Anna sighed as what remained of her body started to go limp. "FATHER I HAVE LIED TO YOU, I HAVE KEPT SOME SECRETS FROM YOU."

He just stood there, his shoes covered in the blood of his daughter as he thought about her words. "Ah just as I thought. So you are saying that I can't be the god of the new mankind. You knew of the outcome and yet tried to defeat Lucy for me, why?"

"ANNA, ANNA CAN'T MAKE PREDICTIONS OF HERSELF. BECAUSE FOR ANNA TO CHANGE THE FUTURE IT WOULD MEAN THAT SHE WOULD GO BEYOND THE LIMITS OF PREDICTING WHICH CAN'T BE DONE. BUT… IT STILL DIDN'T WORK"

His hand rested against her head. "Anna I do not know what kind of future you foresaw for me but I still have something left to tell you my daughter."

Kaede almost choked when she heard that. "First it was that Kurama and now you too. Why does every start with this senseless parent to child talk right in front of me?"

"Lucy." He addressed as he turned to face her again, somewhat ironic that he needed to explain this to her but if offered a good opportunity for him. "You diclonius kill your own parents when the voice starts to take over and your vectors emerge, yet as time passes you once more start to ask, plea and cry for your parents. The very parents you already killed." He reached out towards her. "Don't you have any affection towards your own parents?"

"Don't ask me about such boring stuff." She sneered, as if she even wanted to talk about the parents she had never seen in her life, the ones who had left her to rot in the forest and had forced her to endure a lifetime of suffering. "What possible affection could I have towards the parents who's faces I have never seen, the parents who abandoned me. I do not feel anything for them except the urge to make them pay for never been there for me when I needed them the most."

His response was rather muted, he barely shook his head in disagreement. "You are partially right; your father did indeed abandon you but your mother on the other hand was still searching for you until the very end."

That had caught her full curiosity. "How do you know all that?" Even if she was going to kill him this was something that she just had to know, was there a chance that her mother still loved her after all this time, where had she been?

"We have searched for your mother, it is rather obvious is it not? This institute does specialize in research to all matters related to the diclonius. How it could be research if we did not check on your mother, the one who had given birth to you?" He started to go on explaining the difficulty and resources they had to spend in order to put the pieces of the puzzle together, how they had went through as many files as they could have recovered from the orphanage and how it eventually led them to finding her mother.

"You are saying that my mother was not a human but like me?" She needed to know, was her mother different like her or was she the freak.

"On the contrary, your mother was very human indeed. But what she gave birth to was a pure born diclonius, the real lineage of the diclonius with the ability to reproduce. That is right Lucy." He almost laughed at seeing the confused look on her. "You are not the mutant, your mother was."

Kaede didn't know what to say, was it really true that her own mother had kept searching for her all this time. If there was even a chance that she was still alive then she wanted to see her, to know if there had been one person who loved her. "Where is my mother now, tell me of you will die!"

He chuckled at her threat. "Do not be so foolish to make an empty threat to me, if you kill me now you will never learn what happened to your family. Right now you need me more than anybody else." His arms folding behind his back as he waited for to calm down. "When we came across your mother I sought to have her cooperate and further our goal but alas it was not to be, she did seem interest in providing you with the destiny you deserved."

Kaede could well understand why her mother would not work with him, would she be aware that these people were the ones responsible for having kept her daughter incarcerated in a dark confined cell?

"And then your mother made me a child." The smile on his face was sickening to behold, she just wanted to vomit just from the sight of it.

"I had to be pretty forceful but it could not be helped, it was after all divine guidance that had brought both you and her to me. Now you should know that you and I are not unrelated, now there is somebody I want to introduce to you." The mere thought of what he had done was enough to make her vomit, to think he had the audacity to basically rape her mother and be proud of it. He wanted to do the same to her now, it sickened her to know how low this man could go for his vision of madness.

A door on the far right opened, turning her head Kaede saw that a young person was walking towards them. Already she could tell it was a boy but there was something odd about him.

"The only male diclonius in existence in the entire world." The chief announced as the boy stopped next to him. "And he is your brother Lucy."

"NO YOU CAN'T!? SAEKO-SAN WAS WILLING TO HELP YOU!" Nana cried as she saw her standing there, the slightest move of either of them could spell the end for Saeko. She needed to something and fast if she wanted to save Saeko but in her current position she had not much options left, if she moved in to attack then Saeko would certainly die. This girl was well within her reach but if she noticed her vectors coming for her she would likely not hesitate to make good on her threat.

In the distance she could sense another presence moving in closer and it was with considerable speed, if she wasn't mistaken then it had to be Kyou but how and why was she coming? Would she also come here to help Nana or would she join with the girl, Kyou had made it clear that she didn't like humans as she referred to them as bugs. There was nothing that could betray her intends but Nana already prepared herself for the worst possible outcome. If this was going to become a two on one fight then she was going to be in trouble.

"Say one-chan… what will you do now?

"SHE WANTS TO HELP YOU, PLEASE LISTEN TO US. WE CAN HELP YOU GET THROUGH THIS, YOU DON'T NEED TO KILL. WE ARE SISTERS! PLEASE!?"

Barbara's lips curled back in anger. "LIKE THAT COULD HAPPEN! FOOL!" More of her vectors began to emerge as her anger started to build. "You could have done a lot better even if you are desperate. I was born inside a machine, I never had any parents or any feelings of affection to anybody else other than my clone sisters, to me the two of you are nothing but vermin." Her retaliation came fast enough as she struck at Nana with all of her hate fueled strength, she felt nothing but pleasure on seeing her fall to the ground.

"What are you waiting for onee-chan? If you really want to save this onee-chan then please die. Quick!"

Nana spat up more blood as she took another blow to the chest. "… Not by you…" Heaving like crazy she struggled to get up, even if the vectors of this girl were slow and easy to dodge they certainly packed a punch when they hit. "I can't… have Saeko-san… get killed by you."

Barbara could only grin at hearing that boast, reaching out she struck over and over. Nana got knocked into the dirt again as vector after vector kept pounding at her.

"You still don't understand what kind of situation you're in do you? What a fool you are onee-chan. You won't have to suffer at all if you obediently let me end your life."

"… Please… please." Saeko begged to her but all she got in return was laughter from Barbara. "You can kill me… it's okay… but please… get along… with the rest of my sisters… please I want… you to live them in my place… I'm fine with dying here."

"SAEKO-SAN DON'T SAY THAT!" Nana cried in response, she was not going to let her give up her life just so that this girl could survive. "YOU WANT TO LIVE JUST AS WELL AS THE REST OF US! DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR LIFE!"

"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!" Barbara retorted as she had heard enough. "Is that all the two of you have to say? If so I will kill you as you asked me onee-chan. Bye bye." She grinned as one vector lashed out for her, it would cleanly take off her head.

Nana closed her eyes for fear of seeing what was going to inevitably happen next when a blood curdling shriek could be heard, Nana feared for the worse.

"The only male diclonius in the entire world." The chief announced with pride, she could see his chest swelling with each word he spoke. "Your brother and my son."

"M-My… brother…?" She was dumbfounded at hearing this, this boy was her brother but if that was true? The mere thought of it was already revolting, up until now she had hoped that what he had said had been a lie but now with this boy in front of her there was no more denying, this man had violated her mother.

"Unfortunately due to repeatedly breeding with humans led to our blood becoming diluted and as a result we lost our great power. Because of that we could no longer defend ourselves and became hunted down. I will not allow the same mistake to happen again."

She couldn't believe the audacity he had or to think that this was his reasoning for having forced himself upon her mother, oh the moment he spilled his guts and told her where she was being held she would take his head off.

"In order to not dilute the pure diclonius bloodline I need those with pure blood besides me." His hand rested again on the shoulder of the boy. "My son, he is the ultimate diclonius who inherited the pure blood from his mother. With him I will be the god of the new mankind, I am the father of Adam and with you as his Eva the two of you will give rise to a new era."

Even from where she was standing she could see there was something stuck on his forehead, it looked similar to what those girls had been wearing, how foolish that he had even reduced his own son to be little more than a puppet.

"Onee-tama…" The boy stumbled across his words as he took one step forward, seeing his eyes she could tell there was nothing but innocence behind them. For all of the cruelty his father had done she didn't want to hold him responsible but even so she felt terrible about what was to come.

"My mother, where is she, what have you bastards done to her?"

There was a smirk on his face. "So even you care enough that you ask about your mother's whereabouts? Such a shame as she is dead. It seemed that she did not share our vision for the world and she tragically committed suicide shortly after giving birth to the child."

It was an answer that cut into Kaede's very soul. No that couldn't be true, to think that her mother had been searching for her and in the end she killed herself just to escape from this madman. It was yet another wrong done to her by him.

"But we could not allow her gift go to waste, it seemed that she could produce the egg of an original diclonius so we took her ovaries and womb and had it connected to life support in an effort to breed more." He remarked, his tone remaining unchanged. "But things did not go well, unfortunately there was only one pure diclonius born in the end. Lebensborn ended with that-."

He stopped as he looked up, gazing as Kaede could see that the room was staring to collapse.
