Disclaimer: Still don't own it

They watched as Alison scurried in the darkness.

The teen was sticking to the trees as she moved and managed to miss the gaze of the police inside their vehicle.

Dressed in a pair of blue jeans and some sort of t-shirt with an unbuttoned jacket over it, the blonde looked like she was in a hurry; which was understandable given the circumstances that she currently found herself in. The jacket itself was quite bulky and neither teen could tell what color it was given that the blonde was simply too far away as well as being too dark. What they could see was that it was something that Alison would not normally wear and had quite a large number of pockets; which they concluded were all filled with possible cash. Hunched over her shoulder was a large duffle bag; no doubt filled with Alison's most prized possessions since she would never leave them. If the she were smart, she would also need to pack clothing that would make her look different as well as a few hats to hide her face.

It was then that Mona cursed on the type of car that she used given that not only did it stand out; it was also recognizable as well. While she had parked the car under the shadow of a large tree, if Alison was paying attention she would definitely see it. For the most part, both Mona and Spencer were keeping low in their seats so that they could not be seen and the blonde was still some distance away. Alison was alert though and often looked around to see if someone was watching her; which made things once again risky for the two teens in the car. It was everything they could to slouch in their seats so that their heads didn't go over the dashboard and be seen by Alison during her little sweeps as she passed. For Mona, it was a lot easier given her stature in height while Spencer's tall body felt uncomfortable; her muscles starting to strain. After a few minutes of her scanning the area, the blonde was on the move again; making her way through the trees. When she passed Mona and Spencer in their car, still being across the street, her back was then to them which caused the two teens to peak from behind their seats.

For a second, it looked like Alison was going to disappear from view as she rounded the corner on the street. While the blonde was not completely out of view from the police, the two teens still had quite an angle to spy on her as she went over to one of the parked cars. They watched as Alison reached into her pocket and pulled out some keys for a black sedan; getting inside after looking around her. Pulling out her binoculars, Mona saw the blonde put on a pair of dark sunglasses as well as a black wig; then starting the car. After the engine was warmed up, the disguised blonde made a U-turn and headed away from the area; going the speed limit in order not to be stopped by the police. Mona started up her own vehicle and made a similar turn, planning on following Alison wherever she was going; pulling out her cell phone to see if the blonde had hers on. It was too risky for the teen to speed up to catch her nemesis so the only recourse was to track the phone.

Thankfully, Alison had her phone on and had not gotten rid of it.

"Where do you think she is going?" Spencer asked as she reached over and grabbed her bag in the backseat. Her change of clothing was in there and she decided it was the right time to get out of the dress.

"Out of Rosewood for sure though she has to have a place to lay low for a few days. It would be too risky for her to stay on the open road in case Wilden issues a manhunt for her," answered Mona as she tried to pay attention to the road. The sight of Spencer changing beside her was a bit distracting; especially once the teen was just in her undergarments.

"There aren't a whole lot of places for her to hide though I can think of a few shady motels in the area. We might have to consider that Alison might have some blackmail material in order to coach one of them into hiding her for a few days," stated the taller teen as she slipped into her black pants. She smirked at the redness that appeared on her secret girlfriend's cheeks when she was still in her panties.

"I think I know the perfect place; she is even heading in that direction," informed the other teen as she looked over at her phone. Mona was also looking out for any patrol cars and wished she had brought her police scanner for a possible heads-up.

"What place is that?" inquired Spencer, also keeping an eye out for cops and was lacing up her black shoes. She had tossed her dress in the backseat along with the rest of her things and grabbed some clothing for her friend.

"The Lost Woods Resort; which is on the edge of town. The guy who runs it is shady as Hell and is kind of a pervert so I have no doubt Alison would be able to bully him into hiding her," Mona answered as she stopped at a red light. Knowing that this red light would last a minute and the fact that there were no other cars, Mona took this opportunity to change herself.

"All red I see," Spencer observed a little lustily as Mona slipped the dress over her head and tossed it in the back. Unlike Spencer's regular bra and panties, Mona was wearing some red lace that was rather eye popping.

"Later lover; help me put on my pants and try not to enjoy yourself too much," Mona told her friend with a huge smirk on her face. She felt a chill up her spine when Spencer complied and got in close to do the deed; being rather grabby with her hands.

After a few more minutes and another stoplight, Mona was finally in her A attire though her cheeks were full on red. Spencer had actually enjoyed herself and managed to get in a few slips of her hand; wanting to do more but had to stop. It was becoming quite apparent that it was indeed Spencer that was the bolder one of the pair; willing to make the first move in their relationship. Before their big weekend, the taller teen actually planned to do a little shopping by herself to prepare for the occasion when she and her girlfriend would be alone together for the weekend; wanting it to be a little special. If everything went well tonight, though it was still early and a lot to be done, then they could have all that time and not have to worry about the A Game for once. As she settled back in her seat, Spencer had to push her naughty thoughts out of her mind for the task ahead.

"Wilden has to know Alison is gone by now; why aren't we seeing more cops on the road?" inquired Mona out loud as they neared the edge of town. In fact, she was finding it interesting that they had yet to spot any cops other than the ones in their assigned patrol stations.

"Maybe he jumped the gun by coming to the dance in the first place; he probably came to simply scare Alison and it backfired on him with her running," suggested the other teen as she pulled out her own A phone to see if there was any buzz on social media about Alison.

"That could be; her running might also give him the leverage to get a warrant to search her place though so this might actually work in his favor. Check to see if any of the other girls are talking about what is going on," Mona asked her friend as Alison's car came into view. As a result, the teen slowed her vehicle down to let the blonde get a little ways ahead of her.

"From what I can tell, Hanna and Aria are texting one another on where Alison can be while Emily is texting her mother that she will be home late," informed Spencer as she read through the various texts. So far, it seemed that Hanna had yet to search Alison's locker for their planted evidence.

"Has the school started sending people home yet?" asked the teen as she glanced at her own phone to see if she was still on course. It seemed that her hunch was right and that the blonde was really heading to the Lost Woods Resort.

"No; they are trying to get the power back on and called in the city for help," informed the other teen as her personal; phone buzzed. As expected, Melissa was trying to get ahold of her in order to find out where she was since she now knew the teens were gone from the dance.

"Well I am just hoping my device doesn't get found. I stuck it in a pretty secure place and wiped my prints but the police might be able to put it together that I built it," Mona said as she made a turnoff onto a dirt road. The road ran parallel to the lodge and was another way to get to it.

"Maybe we should have grabbed it on our way out; though I am unsure why you would think they would suspect you," stated the other teen as she read a new text from Hanna to Emily about taking the opportunity to raid Alison's locker. There was reasoning that there was enough distraction in regards to the school officials to accomplish the deed.

"We are the only geniuses at school who has the know how to build something like that. Plus the fact that you and I left the dance in the first place when the lights went out ought to make us suspects as well," reasoned the shorter girl in an arrogant manner as she began to slow her vehicle. From looking at her phone, it seemed that Alison had arrived at her destination since the signal had stopped where the lodge was located.

"A little inflated ego we have, don't we," mused Spencer to herself though it was still loud enough for her girlfriend to hear. Instead of being offended, the other teen just smirked and looked proud at the accusation.

"Did I ever tell you that I used the Lost Woods Resort as the location of my Lair?" Mona asked after a minute of silence. They were almost at the spot she wanted to stop at so they could go after their blonde nemesis.

"No; that is pretty distant place to have a lair," observed Spencer as she put her phone away to look at the driver; curious to why it was never mentioned before. It might have been a trial thing to leave out but it was still interesting to do now of all times.

"It was a good place to spy on Alison when she was there during her many flings with guys as well as a way to get away from everything. Lucas had always been creeped out by my dolls but everything we had discovered had been stored there at some point," informed the teen as she thought back to that time with a little nostalgia. There were times that she when she missed her old lair but was at least grateful that her dolls had been returned; though Lucas had grabbed the rest of the things of importance.

"We can always make a new one of you want," offered Spencer, liking the idea of having a quiet place of their own to spend time in. The only places they could be together besides public locations were their rooms; which made privacy a little tricky.

"Really no point after tonight but a good thought to consider; especially if we decide to continue the game with the other girls," said the secret girlfriend thoughtfully as she considered the idea. The only issue was that they would have to create one once everything died down or it would look suspicious.

"Did you want to continue? Maybe we could mess with them by pretending to be Alison in order to solidify that she was A," proposed the other teen though she wasn't sure about doing it. They had talked about reconciliation with her former friends when this was over after all and taking a break to focus on their futures.

"I don't know; there really isn't a point in beating a dead horse," Mona stated with a shrug. As much as the idea of continuing the game was appealing, Alison had always been the main target with the others just added because of the blonde revealing the A Game to them.

"Why are we not heading to the lodge itself? Isn't the main road back that way?" inquired the taller teen after another few minutes of silence as she now realized where they were. She had been expecting them to simply head straight to the lodge after learning Alison was heading to it.

"Our car is little too well known and it is better to sneak up on her while on foot. It may mean that we might have to get a little exercise tonight in regards to some heavy lifting but at least this way we can be assured that no one can tie us here by our car," answered Mona as she stopped the car since she knew where she was. Before she and Lucas had set up the original lair here, she had scouted the area quite well and knew the full layout of it; especially in the dark.

Spencer nodded in understanding and they both got out of the car with Mona popping the trunk to get their gear. The shorter teen had gone all out for the preparation of the operation tonight; going as far as to spend some money on some goodies. Inside her trunk, which was covered completely with disposable towels so no trace of Alison could be traced in case they became suspects, was an assortment of electronic gear. One of which happened to be night goggles so that they could se in the dark. By using the night goggles, they didn't have to risk being seen by the use of their flashlights; especially at the dump site. Spencer thought it was a little flashy but in the end she understood why her friend was going this far given the enormous risk they were taking. If they got caught with the blonde's body, no amount of skill and money would be able to get the two teens out of murder charges for the town's darling.

In addition to the night goggles, each had a backpack full of the essentials for dealing with Alison; whether by a quick strike or having to subdue her. They also had some cleaning materials, black gloves, and other things in order to hide the fact that they had been here in the first place. Mona had scouted a temporary site to store their things once the buzz had died down; a place where the cops would never even think to look. The plan was to swing by the place on the way back from the dump site and simply store there things; slipping back into their clothing. The two still had to come up with a good explanation on why they left the dance in the first place and both considered that maybe coming out to their parents about their relationship might have to be their excuse; though they had yet to talk about it to one another. In all truth, they had hoped for a more proper time to reveal the news and that using such an important moment just to hide their crimes made each of them feel a little dissatisfied; though they could live with it. Right now, getting away with all of this was far more important to them; thus they could live with it.

Once they had grabbed their things, the two teens took off for the lodge; with Spencer following Mona since she had been here before. The moon was full with a clear night as they trekked through the darkness; kind of beautiful if one was doing any sightseeing tonight. As the place came into view, the taller teen snorted at the ridiculous claim of the place being a resort; though it could still be considered a lodge of some sort. In her opinion, the place resembled a cheap motel for the tourists who visited Rosewood on a budget or were simply passing though. She knew full well that outside appearances could be deceiving and that maybe the place was nicer on the inside; though it had to be not by much. While Spencer was in no ways a snob, unlike her parents and Melissa, she would never had spent a night in such a place and preferred nicer locations for overnight stays. As they got closer, the vehicle that Alison was using could be seen parked in front of one of the many rooms the place had.

"Which room do you think she is in?" Spencer asked as she and Mona stopped in their tracks to survey the situation. As much as Spencer liked that she could see in the darkness and that the night goggles were kind of cool but it was the fact that everything was projected green that kind of annoyed her.

"Probably her usual one that happens to be in front of her car; she has an understanding with the manager in regards to that particular room. We are lucky that it is the offseason for tourists since it appears that we can ambush her without anyone hearing us," answered Mona as she observed that there were no other parked cars as well as the fact that the rest of the rooms were darkened; indicating that they were empty. She felt jubilation on how fortunate they had gotten tonight despite the number of setbacks that had happened earlier in the evening.

That jubilation died quickly when a car suddenly appeared and the driver was Detective Wilden.
