The robosaurs dropped Amy and Drake onto the ground. They tried to get up but winced in pain, Drake dropped back to the ground first followed by Amy. Ivar walked slowly towards Zsa-Zsa and Jack, taking his time. Every step he took the more danger all their friends would be in.

"It's been a long time." Ivar spoke as he stood, he glanced at Jack's red t-shirt in particular, "And by the look of your clothes, a lot has changed. To be honest Jack, I always preferred you in black."

"And I'm sure everyone preferred you gone." Jack shot back.

"A good solider never goes down." Ivar commented, "Or whatever they used to say."

"What do you want Ivar?" Zsa-Zsa asked getting straight to the point, "You obviously don't want to fight us because you have men for that."

"Fighting children isn't my style." Ivar told them insultingly, "But Vikings are. Where is my dear little brother?"

"Gone." Jack replied.

"Gone? As in gone to the shops or gone gone?"

His snarky and hysterical tone in his voice had dropped dramatically. His eyes dimmed down from the bright gleam which they held only a few seconds ago. If one was to look at this moment from the outside, one could have easily mistaken him for a caring brother.

"Gone as in not coming back for a year." Jack told him.

"How selfish-."

His tone rose back up but not to its' full extent. There was a slight wobbly in the world 'how' like he could not believe that even his own brother could desert his own child.

"-leaving… my brothers to fight me on my own."

Everyone knew that was a cover for what he was really going to say. His mouth had already made an 'A' shape and quite possible, if no one stopped him, it would have made a 'K'

"I'm sure they'll live." Zsa-Zsa told him referring both his brothers but to the others he tried to hide his care for.

"I wouldn't count on that. I wouldn't even count on Jackie boy over there nor you and your crazy cousin for surviving that long. I have plenty of resources for you and your team to get through. Astrid wasn't the only one. I have plenty more."

"I bet you do." Drake muttered slowly getting up, "I don't know who you are but seriously this has all got to stop."

"He's right." Amy said now standing, "It's been almost a year."

"A year! Huh, you children know nothing. This rivalry has been going on for 23 years. Anyway why don't you two just stay out of this. This is defender business- something you'll never be a part of"

"Someone will stop you." Jack butted in strongly the quietly muttered, "Someone has to."

"Maybe. One thing is for sure. A bunch of teenagers won't stop me."

"You of all people should know, we're not just normal teenagers." Zsa-Zsa shouted, "I could fry you in a second."

"Then why don't you?" Ivar asked, "You've had a billion opportunities to do it. You 5 can't build up the courage to do it."

"Maybe not!" Jack said, "But one day, we will stop you."

~Ooooo~

Danny was slumbered up against the lab wall; he had one of his arms round Annaka's shoulders and another one protectively around her waist. His eyes were shut from the pain that was racing through his body. His jeans were ripped, his arm was bleeding out, and his lip and face were heavily bruised. Annaka wasn't much better; she winced in pain as she snuggled into Danny more. Her lip was bleeding and she was pretty sure one or two of her ribs were broken and her left side was all bruised and like Danny, her clothes were ripped and all because Zoey and Josh called for the mighty robosaurs.

Annaka winced in plainly loudly this time causing Josh and Zoey to turn look around, with their facial expressions blank. Danny moved her in closer. Those robosaurs were a lot tougher even when powered up.

"It's dad's birthday today." Danny muttered quietly and out of the blue.

"Hmm." Annaka replied into Danny's chest.

"I was meant to face time him."

"We'll get round to it." Annaka whispered making Danny chuckle silently, "I wander what Charles would do if he were here."

Danny rested his head against the cool stone wall and looked up at the ceiling. His mind wondered back to the older man. All the Jr defenders had very little memories left of Charles and even less of Laura.

"Probably tell us to never give up." Danny said, "Fat lot of use that is now."

"Hmm." Annaka replied faintly then moved her head up to look at Danny, "Promise me something."

"Yeah."

"That we're going to get out of here." She told him.

"I promise that we're going to get out of here one way or another." He promised.

"Together?"

"Together."

Just as that promise was made, the lab door swung open. Zsa-Zsa and Jack fell to the floor with Amy and Drake falling behind them. Jack got up slowly. He moved his head in the direction of Annaka and Danny. He ran over there the best that he could.

"Annaka. Danny. What have they done to you?" He asked observing their wounds, "Come on, let's get you two up."

Danny got up slowly with Jacks help. It was difficult enough she had to pull Annaka up as well. He was in so much pain that he didn't even realise that Zsa-Zsa was wrapping some left over material onto his arm. Annaka was fine once she got up. Her body still ached but the pain was bearable.

"Hey-let me go- I'm warning you! Put me down!" A familiar voice shouted from down the passage way.

Two robosaurs stampeded into the lab with Kyle hanging 1ft off the ground. They dropped him and, sure enough, he landed with a crash. Amy and Drake ran over to him to ensure that he was okay. He smiled gratefully at him then turned his head to find his team mates.

"Can't leave you guy alone for 10 minutes."

"Right, now everyone here's." Harvey shouted, "Let's get a move on. Zoey, Josh grab those two."

Zoey and Josh slowly made their way over to Amy and Drake. Despite Harvey's orders, the pair only grabbed onto their arms loosely hoping that the prisoners wouldn't try to escape.

"Now I have found a film for us all to watch." Harvey delightfully said.

"He has lost it." Danny muttered still wincing in pain.

"From our own Charles Stuart. Enjoy!"

The big stone wall at the end of the room light up. On it was Charles, supposedly talking into a camera. The Jr defenders realised this must have been made about 10 years ago due to the very bad quality of the camera and the pure fact that Charles had more hair.

"My project has finished." He started then held up a very familiar red gem, "This isn't the same power gem I created a few days ago. No, this is something different, it has more power and of course one of them is pink. These gems are designed as a back-up in case the original power gems go down or even worst get destroyed. It is vital that they all stay safe so I am insuring the help of Luke Johnson to keep the power gems safe while I'll hide these gems. If you are not me and are watching this and Pearl Canyon is in danger then please find Luke Johnson and the defenders. If these gems into the wrong hands then all hope would be lost."

"So, where are the gems?" Harvey asked looking towards the Jr defenders.

"We don't know." Jack lied, "We never found them."

"So you better find them." Harvey ordered then pointed to Amy, Drake, Josh and Zoey, "Or those 4 get it."
