It's Dino Time!"

"I have 100% faith in Zsa-Zsa; she is staying second in command."

"Danny, how are you going to get Kyle's diary?"

"JCD Defender 3- Green."

"Mountain Cruiser!"

"I'm Kyle."

"I'm lonely too."

"We need to find a computer and see Astrid's files."

"I propose we have a party!"

"Vulcanodon!"

Jack's fingers felt were wide apart, letting to cool air in between them. His feet had no weight on them for once and his t-shirt was flapping off his body. This great sensation came to a quick stop. He opened his eyes and found himself standing in the centre of Pearl Canyon. It was still nightfall but the rain had stopped showing the big bright glistening moon on the starry night sky.

He sensed that the other Jr defenders were next to him, they were all standing in a line. Then he realised something. There dino suits were on and they sparkled in the moon light. His team mate's facial expressions were a mixture of confused and sadness. Clearly Zsa-Zsa and Annaka knew what was coming while the green and yellow dinos had no idea where they were or what was about to happen.

It was there final goodbye. A telepathic gift created by the gems.

The location was perfect; you could see every part of Pearl Canyon, even in the dark. To their left was the industrial site with factories that, tonight, were silenced to pay respects to their good bye. On the right was the shopping mall. At this time it was bound to be shut so late night shopping wasn't going to be on their criteria. Behind them lay the route out of Pearl Canyon and straight ahead, out of that route, was the famous B&B that was a great place to hide out while being on the run. Finally, right in front of them, gleaming in all its might was the Splatalot Castle. Their home.

To the Jr defenders it shone like the North Star in the sky. It was the place where they grow up, learned the truth and gained new allies. No. It was more than that. It was the epicentre of truth. Every dark secret was lit in that castle, every traitor was exposed and every villain was caught. Well…with the obvious exceptions.

A bright yellow glow caught his eye. Kyle disappeared. His excess energy shot off into the sky, like a shooting star searching for its wish. Kyle didn't have any goodbyes to make, he would still have time. It was the 4 of them that had ran out.

In a way, Jack thought this was how it was meant to be. This whole adventure started off with the four of them and their adventure would end with the four of them. He held nothing against Kyle, he had grown to love that boy but there was something special about it being the four of them. He switched positions with Zsa-Zsa, so the order ran oldest to youngest, just like it was before Kyle joined.

He could read all their thoughts and in return he could read theirs. It was reassuring as his team mates thoughts consisted of…

"You were a great leader."

Zsa-Zsa noticed how tranquil Pearl Canyon was portrayed in their minds. It was very unrealistic especially as 50% of the town noise came from screaming children who were more or less found at the park. She would miss that park. It was so big and had so much greenery unlike the castle, where during winter, would look like an utter wasteland.

The cool breeze was blowing her hair gently out in front of her. The moon light emphasised her blue highlights which she inserted when she was fifteen. Was that really four years ago? Time does fly by without anyone noticing it.

She was once the animal persona of a leopard. Now she was the persona of a Vulcanodon. Was. Times change in the most unfortunate ways as well and fate happens at the worst possible moments. She never would get to say goodbye…she never could. Not to her home or her friends and family. She didn't blame James, she couldn't. This wasn't his doing, it was a gift gone wrong. All of her unsaid goodbyes reminded her of something that Charles would say, something that reassured her…

"You never say goodbye unless the person truly forgets you."

If his eyes weren't open at this precise moment then Danny would believe that he was flying. The breeze was cool and gentle like it was when he would be flying high in the summer. He would miss those days now that he full understood what was happening. Would they all be spilt up? Probably not…hopefully not. He would have to ensure hope in Kyle that he won't let them down.

It had been such a long time since it was the four of them. Kyle was a great addition to the team. No doubt but fifteen years with the same four people. Danny didn't realise how easy it was to miss that bond. For a final goodbye, it wasn't that bad. There were no soppy lines or over dramatics. It was just them.

His injuries were held. That was probably done to the neon gems healing him. He loved the power and will sorely miss it. He missed his eagle gem and his car key also his triceratops DNA. His eagle gem. He was the eagle of the Jr defenders for so long, for so many months that no one (except the Jr defenders, of course) could really feel his pain when Astrid destroyed them. The eagle powers felt like a friend to him.

"We will be reunited one day, my friend."

Annaka watched as her pink crop t-shirt blew in the wind. She loved being pink. It made her feel more girly and the team needed a girly colour. If it wasn't for the skirts that came with the defender outfits then no one would know that two girls were on the team. However, she missed the coloured dearly. She had grown up wearing that colour as it was the colour of her parents, although she personally though her father was more gold.

Speaking of family, hers was messed up. Her uncle was evil and her father had somewhat abandoned her. Deep down she felt resentment for both of those things. She felt resentment for everything her Uncle did. Despite, accidently, getting to know him better he still sent those robosaurs and recruited Harvey, Astrid, Alwin and Banan. She did question throughout her life of who her family really were. Are they the Vikings and hunters that live far away? Or are they the four other teenagers who fight alongside her every day? Something told her that the upcoming change of events would tell her.

Annaka watched the castle glow in front of her. That was the once place that was certainly home. She had very fond memories in that castle and she would use all of her will to remember them and keep onto them. She would always remember having the powers. Her only regret was that they should have kept onto the Overdrive powers tighter then this wouldn't have happened. Her thoughts travelled to the eleventh doctors words when he started to regenerate.

"I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear."

The castle watched as its occupants shot up into the sky like their previous team mate and disappeared into the darkness. This old castle had been around for a long time and had seen so many sights and had heard so many secrets but none like this generation of defenders and leaders held. It was going to be different now.

The castle slowly turned out its four lights that surrounded the moat, stockade, dungeon and final round one by one, a silent thank you to the four Jr defenders who, to the human world, would go to a boarding school but in defender world would go away, in mysterious circumstances due to the mistake of a mentor.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed this strange chapter and enjoyed it. If you didn't catch on this is the final chapter that will feature Annaka, Danny, Zsa-Zsa and Jack.
