Paul's pov:

I pushed Reggie out and locked my door screaming "Haven't you heard of knocking idiot?! And don't enter!"

Dawn and Monika were laughing hard, seeing my face. I shooked my head and relieved to see that damn blush was controlled. I glared them as they calmed down "Shut up and get on with the work already. Tell me what her powers are."

Dawn rolled her eyes and quietly muttered "Nothing changed, huh" I glanced at her and she saw my stare. Sapphire meeting Onyx.

"What?"

"Nothing, Tell me" I said as I turned my attention to Monika.

She shrugged "There are so many powers. She is a Air bender, Fire bender, Earth bender, Water bender. Her emotions can be detected by weather. Just what Prof. Rowan told us. Emotions are her strength and weakness. She can control, change and even create weather. The other powers are she is a telepath, control anything and create anything. She can multiply, meaning she could copy herself"

I nodded and I heard someone knocking. I rolled my eyes and muttered "Come in, Reggie"

He came in with a wide smile on his face "I want someone to watch the kitchen, I'm going to buy some things"

Dawn nodded "Ok I'll go!" She chirped

"Oh no you're not" Reggie said

"Awww why?"

"Do you remember that day you almost burnt this house?"

"It happened four years ago Reggie!"

"And just because of a popcorn"

"It was a honest mistake!"

"No I don't want that to happen again. Monika can you?"

"Sure, Reggie" She said.

Reggie smiled and walked away. Monika turned towards Dawn "You almost burnt this house?"

"I already told you it was a honest mistake!"

Monika couldn't control herself she bursted into laughter. Me too. I could remember just because of a popcorn that she kept in the microwave. She heated more than what it wanted.

We laughed at her face. She grumbled "Shut up"

Monika chortled and walked away to the kitchen leaving me and Dawn alone. I glanced at her, and she avoided my stare by grazing her fingers over the book. I released a frustrated sigh. Why can't she let me talk?

I plopped next to her, real close. She shifted uncomfortably, I said "Dawn…is there something going on with you? You're acting weird ever since that day when Rowan teached about Mysterious goddess."

She shrugged "Nothing really." As I expected she is nervous with this talk. Whatever you're doing, just keep on Paul.

"And I heard from May when you two went shopping, you left her by teleporting May to her home. When May asked that about you just waved it off carelessly. You're not that type of girl what's really going on?

She glared me with real irritation "Nothing is going on. So shut the hell up"

I glared her too. Suddenly I pushed her on my bed, pinning her down. She struggled a bit "Let go off me Paul!" I shooked my head "No look at me Dawn"

She didn't glance at me I saw a tint of blush spreading on her cheeks. I smirked "Dawn look at me"

She shooked her head. I sighed "Dawn…look at me" I whispered in her ear. She shivered a bit. I smiled knowing that I still have that effect on her. And she really don't know what she is doing to me. I inched closer, so close that our noses were touching. She blushed cherry red and struggled again.

I looked her eyes and stared her and she turned her head. Still she is not looking me so to have her attention I said quietly "Nothing happened with me and Ursala four years ago"

That did it, she turned and looked at me with wide eyes. I nodded, truthfully "Nothing happened"

"But…I saw.."

"What you seen is not real"

"I don't believe it"

"What am I saying is truth, Dawn"

"No…its not true"

I forcefully grabbed her chin, and stared her eyes. They are so blue. Just like a ocean. An endless ocean "Trust me. I still love you" I mumbled that last part real quietly, like I don't want her to hear it. I don't want this relationship to be destroyed too.

She stared me with tear filled eyes. Lucky me, she didn't hear the last part. She is still not believing me. She opened her mouth to say something but it was interrupted by someone opening my door. We heard a voice saying

"Am I…interrupting something?"

Our head snapped towards that direction seeing Monika standing with a smirk on her face. We blushed as we realized the position. Dawn blushed and pushed me off her "Nothing….come on its late, we've to go to our home"

With that she walked away with Monika not before giving me a quick glance. I growled silently. That damn Pigtail!

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. Too close. But she have to break it! I stared my ceiling. Atleast I told her the truth, if we've much time I could tell her everything. I smiled and drifted to sleep.

Dawn's pov:

I stared my ceiling, a baby blue wall paper with stars. I remembered the previous incidents

"Nothing happened with me and Ursala four years ago"

Yeah, like that's believable…

"What you seen is not real"

Really?

"What am I saying is truth, Dawn"

Oh you don't even know how much I wanted that to be real and a lie.

"Trust me. I still love you"

I trust you. And….and…. I can't love you Paul. Even I wanted to….I can't love you. You'll be the one who will get hurt. Paul you told that part real quiet, like you don't want me to hear, but I heard it. One half is so happy and my other half is so angry at myself. I promised that it won't happen again, but I don't know about that. I could break my promise.

I stared my ceiling and relieved that tomorrow is a weekened. I just hope no attack tomorrow. I yawned and fell immediately asleep. What I didn't know was a bright red eyes staring at me with a sinister smile on its face.

"This time you can't escape Gardenium…."

Ooooh~ Paul still loves Dawn! How romantic~

But why Dawn can't love him? Why? And who is the one who spied Dawn?
