A/N: Thanks so much to my beta Mary Mab

Xander gave Dean directions until they pulled into the parking lot. Dean was parking when he saw her.

He grinned, he waited until the car stopped then ran into her arms and hugged her tightly even though it had only been a couple days since he had last seen her. He was glad to be with Willow again because even when they didn't talk it wasn't awkward.

"You okay?" she whispered in his ear. He wasn't really sure how to answer the question so he just broke the hug. He saw Dean and Sam coming up to them looking at Willow.

"Sam you've already met Willow, Dean this is Willow one of my best friends." he said gesturing to the both of them as he made introductions. Sam nodded a friendly look on his face while Dean was looking at her far more suspiciously. He didn't care that Dean was his brother ,if he attacked Willow physically or verbally he was going to kick his ass out and his angel would just have to fend for himself.

"And you're a witch." he said thinly veiled suspicion leaking into his voice. Sam shot his brother a look, which he hoped that Dean took under advisement because as much as he wanted to get to know his brother he wouldn't if they didn't behave. Dean seemed to get the message and nodded.

"Sorry it's just I've never really met a friendly witch before."

"Willow is my best friend and not just a witch." he said sharply letting Dean know he would not take any mean treatment of his friend. Dean nodded, "She is also the person who's going to save your friend." he reminded him and Dean nodded again looking a little more contrite.

"Sorry." he said again. Willow nodded like what Dean said hadn't bothered her at all. She walked to the doors of the place and held one of them open so that they could enter. He looked at them as they both entered the building then he looked at Willow.

"You okay?"

"Fine. Your brother's quite the charmer." she said then shrugged "Actually isn't he supposed to be?" she asked. Xander nodded he knew that Dean was supposed to be a bit of a womanizer, but he hadn't really seen it. Then again all he had seen was Dean worried about Cas, so maybe it was like with Sam who he didn't really see the nice sane Sam until he had finally got Dean back. Maybe he'd see a nicer Dean when Dean got Cas back. He walked in and saw Sam and Dean staring at the room, he knew why. There were a bunch of teenage girls milling around or rather they were milling around , but now every single one of their eyes were focused on the three men in the room. Sam and Dean looked at him and he gestured to the elevator, they seemed to rush a little to it. Then again there were dozen of teenage girls staring at them like they were a piece of meat and they hadn't gotten used to it like he had.

They seemed even more relieved when the doors opened and Xander and Willow followed them in. Sam hit the close door button even though he had no idea where they were going. Sam hadn't been all that bothered the last time, but then again he had been well bordering on the edge of insanity. Willow hit the button that would lead them to the basement and they waited for a little bit while the elevator brought them down to the right floor. Willow led the way out when the doors opened. Xander, and Sam knew where she was going so kept their eyes focused on her, but Xander saw that Dean's eyes were taking in the gym. He looked at Xander.

"Nice setup you got here." he said slightly appreciatively and Xander found himself smiling he was very proud of this place.

"Xander helped design and build it." Willow told him with a strong note of pride in her voice and Xander smiled at her.

"You really helped build this place?" Dean said and looked again at the walls. Xander shrugged.

"Before I became a hunter I was a carpenter." Dean nodded. They all followed Willow into the weight room and then stopped as they came to the wall. They had all been in the apothecary before, all except for Dean who looked like he was wondering why they were staring at the wall.

"It's hidden." Sam told him and he nodded. Willow pressed the bricks in the right sequence and the wall swung inwards. Willow turned to face them.

"Try not to touch anything" she warned the brothers. Xander had learned his lesson about that many years ago; he and magic just don't mix. She made her way forwards and Xander looked around at the creepy place with the dim lighting that the plants were growing in. He really needed to convince Willow to make this look less like a cave and if possible get it smell less awful, but that one was probably not something that could be helped since altering the spell might alter some of it's mystical properties. The next part made him wince because even he felt the hebbie jebbies looking at it and Sam and Dean might react more volatility to it. Just as he suspected Dean froze as he came into the spell room. Sam too looked a little more leery then he had the last time around. Usually he felt uncomfortable in this room but now he just felt angry.

"Willow got you out of Purgatory, she's not a wicked witch." he said heatedly but they still looked uneasy, they just tried to hide it better. Which was something at least, he supposed that being taught since they were kids to fear this kind of stuff, they wouldn't just get over it with him telling them once.

"Do you have it?" Willow asked Dean. Dean blinked at her blankly before he remembered, he gave her the duffel bag and she accepted it. She put it on her worktable and looked through its contents. She took Dean's clothes out and put it in a large bowl. She then started added herbs and other things to the bowl. She then turned to Xander.

"I think I'm ready." she said sounding cool and calm even though he was pretty sure that she had never tried to get an angel out of purgatory before. Xander nodded at her and then gave her hand a quick squeeze, and a reassuring smile. She smiled gratefully at him and looked at all three of them.

"Don't try to step in the circle during the spell." she said then went to one of the circles with intricate spell work that Xander couldn't even begin to guess at what they all meant. She closed her eyes and started chanting.

He watched Willow anxiously as she went through the spell, because even though he knew that she had much better control over magic then she had when they were 22. Still he worried a little bit that if she did too powerful a spell that he would have to face her darker part again and that was something he rather avoid. In fact he wished he could have those memories erased. He shook his head and focused on the dark point that was slowly growing. He really hoped that something bad didn't come of this, but Willow was careful. If there was something that could go wrong she had probably taken precaution against it. The darkness grew and grew until it filled the entire circle Willow included and his worry for his friend went up several notches. Part of him wanted to stop the spell but he knew that Willow knew better about whether or not it was going as planned. He waited, as the darkness somehow grew a little darker and then suddenly something was thrown from it, it didn't leave the circle though. The darkness faded slightly and a man was slightly visible. It appeared to be a man who was wearing pajamas and a trench coat. He puzzled for a moment about the odd choice in clothing before Willow shouted.

"Is this him?" Sam and Dean looked over the form but didn't say anything until the man's face was revealed. Then they nodded, Willow nodded as well and the darkness started ebbing very quickly before it got swallowed again. Xander found himself looking at the man there was nothing about him that screamed angel. Not that he had ever met one before, he hadn't really been a bit part of that apocalypse since there had been several other ones during that time period. The other ones he had more of an understanding of, so he had took part in stopping those. The man's gaze was on the Winchester brothers seeming to completely ignore both he and Willow.

"Dean?" he asked.
