Chapter Nineteen - Who's Side Are You On?

~ A Teen Wolf fanfiction collaboration between Miss E Charlotte and Sage Londyn.~

Teagan looked down at her phone, typing out a text. She had just hit the send button, when she heard someone walking over toward her. She glanced up and softly smiled when she saw it was Isaac.

"I can't get a hold of Derek or Scott." Isaac informed her. None of them really knew what was going on ever since another teacher was murdered in front of them and Lydia was attacked. It was like the rest of their friends had disappeared. Which could only mean one thing, something major was going on, which left them all on edge.

When he heard her phone beep, informing her she had a new text message, he nodded toward her phone as he asked, "Is that Avery?"

"Hmm?" Teagan mumbled, as she read the text. She quickly typed out a response, hit send, then looked up at Isaac, realizing what he had asked. She shook her head, as she said, "No, not Avery. It was Jackson."

"Jackson?" Isaac asked surprised.

"Yeah. He was asking what the latest is on Lydia." Teagan answered, like it was no big deal, which to her it wasn't. She and Jackson talked occasionally, he told her stories of all the new people and places he discovered and she kept him in the loop of how their friends were doing. She recently clued him in on the alpha pack and darach murders. She never wanted to tell him about it, not wanting to worry him, but as more bodies began to stack up, she knew she had to tell him.

Now he texted her daily, wanting an update on everyone, and after that night, she had to tell him his ex-girlfriend was almost a victim. She was just relieved Lydia was ok.

Teagan glanced around, looking at the crowd of people still standing around in shock of what all happened, missing the look on Isaac's face. He knew he shouldn't let it bother him, he knew how Teagan felt about him and that she was only friends with Jackson, but knowing they kept in touch just rubbed him the wrong way. Maybe it was the wolf in him, or the drama and raging storm outside, but he could feel jealousy and anger coursing through his veins.

"Do we have a latest on Lydia?" Teagan questioned, as she tried to find someone she knew through the crowds that she could ask.

"I didn't realize you two talked so much." Isaac said, hoping he didn't sound as bitter as he felt.

Teagan looked over at him, seeing the look on his face, and knew he wasn't happy about it. "It's not like we talk every day or anything, just sometimes. He likes to know how everyone is doing." Teagan explained, then added, "And right now, he's worried about Lydia. They might be broken up, but he still cares about her."

"And what about you?" Isaac snapped. The question sounding a lot harsher than he meant.

Teagan tilted her head to the side, as she looked at him with a hurt expression on her face from his tone. She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could, they heard a big boom of thunder, followed by the lights flickering, causing her to jump in surprise and grab on to his arm in fear.

He pulled her toward him on instinct, and glanced up at the ceiling when he heard the wind howling outside. The storm was getting worst outside and he feared it was an omen that their night was going to get worst.

That thought made him tighten his hold on Teagan, the feel of her in his arms, chasing away his earlier insecurities and jealousy. He softly said her name, kissing the side of her head, waiting for her to look up at him. Once she did, he pushed a lock of hair from her face, as he whispered, "I'm sorry."

Teagan gave him a small smile, as she shook her head, and said, "It's ok. I should have told you earlier that we still talk some, but I honestly never really thought much about it, and with everything going on-"

"You don't have to explain." Isaac interrupted, feeling foolish for letting it get to him. Who cares if she talked to her ex, Jackson wasn't who she was in love with. He was, and he knew that. He was the one she wanted to spend her life with, he was the one she turned to, he was the one holding her and always would be. Like they always said to each other, 'it's you and me'.

"I just never want you to think there is someone else in my heart other than you." Teagan said, as she rested her hands on the back of his neck, running her fingers through his curls on the back of his head. "I love you, Isaac. No one else." She added, as she smiled at him.

Isaac smiled back at her words then leaned forward to rest his forehead against her. The two held on to each other for a few minutes, until they heard someone approach them. They turned their head, seeing that it was Allison.

"Hey, how's Lydia?" Teagan asked, worried about her friend.

"She's got bruising on her neck and can barely talk, but she keeps asking for Avery." Allison answered.

"Avery? Why Avery?" Isaac asked confused. He knew Avery and Lydia were just as close as Teagan was to Lydia, but why would she only be asking for Avery.

"I don't know." Allison said with a shrug. "I told her I didn't know where Avery was, I'm assuming she is with the others." She added, then glanced over at Teagan as she continued, "After I told her that, she was asking for you then. She said you need to tell Avery. Avery needs to know."

"Know what?" Teagan asked, just as confused as Isaac.

"She didn't say." Allison said, then added,"She tried, but her voice kept going in and out, and she was getting hysterical so they gave her something to calm her down."

"I should go talk to her." Teagan said, as she went to take a step down the hall until Allison laid a hand on her arm and stopped her.

"You can't now. They're taking her to a hospital downtown." Allison explained.

"Why downtown? Why not Beacon Memorial?" Teagan questioned.

"It's being evacuated." Allison said, then added, "And I overheard an EMT saying the backup generators might be too old to last if the power goes out."

"Wait, Beacon Memorial... that's where Cora is, right?" Isaac questioned. The last update they heard about Cora was that they rushed her to the hospital and her uncle was with her.

"With Peter." Teagan added, with a disgusted look on her face. She didn't like Peter, she didn't trust Peter and if he was with Cora, that could be a bad thing. She wasn't that close to Cora, but she knew Cora and Avery got close over the summer, and after losing Erica and Boyd, she didn't want to see Avery losing another friend.

Before any of the teens could say anything else, Chris walked over toward them, informing them he was driving them all home, but Isaac declined, saying he needed to get to the hospital. Derek was his alpha, and Cora was Derek's sister, which meant in a way, she was his pack member, and they couldn't afford to lose anymore.

As Isaac, with Teagan by his side, began to walk down the hall, Chris called out to them, telling them he would drive them all to the hospital, right as the light went out over head.

Teagan gripped Isaac's hand, as the two walked behind Allison and her father toward the parking lot, none of them knowing what they were about to walk in to.

~()~

Avery looked out of the back window to where Stiles and Scott were following them towards the hospital, then back to the front of the car where Derek was both focusing on driving through the storm and glaring at her mom that was in the passenger seat.

"You should know, I'm not doing this because I have to. I was there when Cora was born, I don't want her to die." Aleine tried to explain to Derek.

When no one responded she continued, "I could easily run and trust me, you'd never find me."

When she was still met by silence she continued, "I'm only doing this to everyone because I have too. If we don't stop the alpha pack, what do you think will happen once they kill you for not joining them? Hmm?" Nodding to where her daughter was in the backseat she continued, "You really think she'll leave with the very people who ended your life? No, she'll fight them and she will die."

Avery rolled her eyes.

"Shut up." Derek growled.

"It's the truth."

"Stop making it sound like this is all about her. Like you don't have some kind of hidden agenda here." He snapped, as he pulled into the parking lot of the hospital.

Turning her head she looked out of the window, as he pulled to a stop.

As soon as he shut the car off, he jumped and raced around opening the passenger door and pulling Aleine out, keeping a firm hold on her arm.

Avery stared blankly to the seat where her mom was just sitting, Her mother, the woman who was supposed to provide nothing but comfort and be there every time she needed someone. But instead, for some unknown reason something had broken within the woman she'd known and loved.

It felt like there was some stranger wearing her moms face, and that made her sick to her stomach.

By the time she gathered the strength to open the door and make it inside, she saw Scott's mom talking to the group before turning and walking away.

Her eyes stopped on the wooden bat in Stiles' hand. She wasn't sure what he planned to use it on, since they had no idea what they were walking into.

"There you are." He said, looking relieved. He'd realized once they'd all sprinted in from the rain that Avery wasn't with them.

"Where's Cora?" She questioned, smoothing her wet hair out of her face.

"This way." He said as they trailed a few steps behind Derek and her mom.

After getting off the elevator they found Cora's room, but it was empty. The only evidence of her ever being there was a puddle of black goo with some mistletoe in it, on the floor next to the unmade bed.

"Derek…" Scott said, alerting the older wolfs attention to the trail of the black substance leading from the room and into a set of closed double doors.

The lights flickered and they could hear sounds of fighting from the other side.

There was another loud thud and the doors opened as Peter slid across the floor on his back, landing just in front of the group.

Looking to Derek he said, "We've got a problem, a big problem."

Then his gaze drifted over to a familiar face he never thought he'd see again, "Okay… we have more than one problem."

"Peter." Aleine greeted with a nod, before looking up to see the twin alphas had combined into one large werewolf.

Derek let go of Aleine's arm and stared back at the werewolf as it let out a roaring growl.

Stiles adjusted the bat in his hands, and before their enemies had a chance to come their way, Derek brought the fight to them.

Avery stood with her heart in her throat as she watched the other alpha easily over power and get the upper hand against Derek. There was a part of her that had tricked herself into believing that once Derek had become an alpha, he was pretty much indestructible.

But he wasn't a match for an entire pack of alphas.

With that her gaze drifted over to where her mom was standing, also watching the fight, and she wondered how on earth she expected to take the pack out.

While Scott raced to Derek's aid, Peter asked Aleine, "Aren't you supposed to be dead?"

"Aren't you?" she shot back, not taking her eyes off the fight.

"Hey, help me…" Stiles said quietly as he leaned down keeping his eyes on where he saw Cora's motionless body on the floor.

Stiles stood guard with his bat at the ready, as if the wooden piece was a match or even a plausible weapon against an alpha werewolf.

When Avery looked back to the fight she saw Derek's crumpled body laying against the side of the hallway, and the alpha he'd been fighting had Scott pinned against the wall, choking him.

"Ethan, Aiden, stop!" Scott gasped for air and struggled to break free.

"All we want is her!"

When Avery raced past Stiles, he yelled, "What are you doing?"

But she didn't have time to answer as she rushed to Scott's aid, sneaking up behind Ethan and Aiden in their merged form.

Stiles looked over just in time to see plunging two knives into the back of the large alpha.

Roaring in pain, they dropped Scott and Derek raised his head just in time to see the elevator close with Aleine inside.

Spinning around they swung an arm to knock her backwards but she ducked and avoided the blow.

Raising back up, she effortlessly spun the Chinese ring daggers around her fingers and snapped, "Go ahead, give me a reason to literally take your conjoined head off."

"Avery, don't!" Scott pleaded, still gasping for air and holding onto his throat as he tried to get up from the floor.

But she was ready, ready to attack and fight to the death, preferably their death. But either way she wasn't backing down, not this time, not after everything they'd done.

When they realized the darach had escaped on the elevator, they raced after her, with Avery right behind them, until Derek grabbed her.

Not sure who had ahold of her, she brought her elbow back hard until it collided with the chest of the person behind her.

With a groan of pain, the arm that had curled around her dropped. Spinning around she raised one of the daggers and placed it to the neck of who she thought was attacking her.

Her eyes widened once she realized what she was doing, she saw Derek's face shift back to human as he looked at her with an unsure expression.

Immediacy removing the blade she was relieved to see she hadn't even cut him.

"Derek… I'm so sorry." She apologized, shocked about how quickly she'd responded to what was happening without even giving any thought to the situation.

"We need to go, now." He said, as he grabbed her arm and pulled her into the room behind everyone else.

The doors barely had time to swing shut behind her before the conjoined alpha burst through.

Avery looked back to see Stiles standing beside the alpha with his bat.

"Stiles!" She shouted in disbelief at him.

Swinging the bat and hoping to knock the giant alpha out, Stiles put all of his might into the swing. But all he managed to do was break the bat over their head.

Reacting quickly before they had a chance of turning on his best friend, Scott jumped up knocking one of the fluorescent lights from the ceiling , still attached to the wires the fixture swung forward knocking them to the ground.

As the group made their way into another room that looked like it was a surgery prep room, Peter laid Cora's body down on the table and Derek closed the doors keeping a look out from the windows.

"Where's the big guy?" Stiles questioned.

"Close." Derek sighed.

Looking around Stiles looked over to where Avery was using paper towels to get the blood off the daggers.

"We could have taken Ethan and Aiden… I could have taken them." She grumbled under her breath.

"You mean kill them?" Scott questioned shaking his head at her.

Rolling her eyes she sighed, "Yes, golden boy… I'm suggesting you pull your big boy pants on and man up. It's us or them."

"No one else needs to die!" then he looked down as she spun the daggers around her fingers nonchalantly.

"Where did you get even those from?" He asked, knowing when they first walked into the hospital and even the loft she hadn't had them.

Sighing she raised her eyebrows as she lifted her dress up high on her right thigh and slid the dagger into the protective holster she strapped to her upper leg.

Scott stared wide eyed in disbelief at her.

"And you think you're going to be able to fight off a gigantic alpha with two little knives?" Peter sighed as he looked up to the ceiling is irritation; the last thing they needed was Avery picking a fight he was sure she'd never win, then everyone would run to her aid.

Turning around she smirked at him as she hiked up the other side of her dress to return the second dagger to its holster, "I held my own just fine."

His eyes fell to her exposed skin, then slowly moved back up to her face as she started to say something but Stiles cut him off.

"Stop!" Stiles yelled, realizing the room was one body short.

"Avery… where's your mom?" he continued.

"Gone." Scott answered, as he faced the group.

Looking over to Avery he asked, "What happened?"

"Why is that my place to answer?" she asked, a jolt of attitude in her voice to match his accusatory tone.

"Why is that your place…" Stiles shook his head back and forth, "Because you were only one left there next to her! If you weren't so fixated on the insane idea that you're going to take the twins out, you could have kept an eye on her."

Avery's eyes narrowed at him. As if she didn't feel bad enough knowing it was her mom who was screwing everything up, now the one person who always backed her, even when she was wrong was lashing out at her.

"I left her alone because your best friend has some serious performance issues and couldn't rise to the occasion. So I stepped in and saved his ass." She snapped, immediately sighing at herself.

"Be quite!" Derek ordered.

Turning his misguided anger on the werewolf Stiles snapped, "Me be quiet? Me, huh? Are you telling me what to do now? Aleine has got my dad, tied up somewhere waiting to be ritually sacrificed. " By the end of his speech he was up in the alphas face.

Trying to quiet Stiles down, Scott calmly said, "Stiles, they're still out there. They're going to hear you."

"And they want her right? Which is just perfect because that means now we don't have her either. So my dad and Cora are dead." He yelled, shooting Avery another look.

"Not yet." Avery yelled back.

"Yet!" he emphasized the key word in her statement.

Walking up to him she said, "What do you want me to do, Stiles? Tell you that I'd kill my own mother to save your dad, because he's one of the kindest people I've met, and showed more concern towards me than my own dad? Because I would. He's the only parent you have left, and you cannot lose him. I understand that, and I'm going to do everything I can to get your dad home safe, okay?"

She took a deep breathing, pushing the rage and lust for revenge that she had to the back of her mind. Stiles was right, there were more important matters to be dealt with then trying to get an eye for an eye.

Stiles looked at her with red rimmed eyes, and knew she was telling the truth.

Slowly he nodded.

"It's not like I can just snap my fingers and make her appear." She continued, snapping her fingers to the side to prove her point.

"We have to do something… she doesn't look good. We've got to help her." Scott said as he saw Peter leaning over Cora's body.

"You can't, only I can heal her and I'll tell you where Stilinski is. But right now there is a pack of alphas in this hospital who want me dead. So I'll help you, but only after I am outside of these walls, safe."

Outraged at everything Aleine Dukate had done, Derek threw the contents off of a counter and started to charge at her, but Scott stopped him.

"She was trying to get out!" He reasoned.

Running a hand through her blonde hair she explained, "I was simply trying to keep from being killed. No one in this room can blame me for that."

"We can blame you for literally… a million things!" Stiles exclaimed.

When she continued to refuse to heal Cora, Peter grew tired of her games. Glancing around the room with the lighting reflecting off every metal surface he blinked a few times, his eyes glowing blue as he spoke, "I'd like to volunteer a different method of persuasion. Lets torture her."

Shaking her head and clicking her tongue to the roof of her mouth, Aleine responded, "There was always something so twisted… hideously mangled in you, Peter."

"Torture works for me." Derek growled, starting towards her but Avery yelled, "Derek, stop it!" at the same time the P.A system crackled on.

"Um, can I have your attention?" Melissa McCall's shakey, voice rang through the hospital.

Everyone stopped and looked to the white plated speaker on the tile wall.

"Mr. Deucalion –excuse me, just Deucalion, requests that you bring Aleine Dukate to the E.R reception. Do this, and everyone else can leave. You've got 10 minutes."

The room fell silent. Fearing for her safety Aleine said, "He's not gonna hurt her."

"Shut up!" Derek hissed, as he looked down to where his younger sister was slowly and painfully dying on the table.

"Scott, you know why. Tell them it's true." She argued.

"What does she mean?" Derek asked looking to Scott.

The beta looked down avoiding his eyes.

When he didn't answer, Avery's mom rolled her eyes as she spoke, "Derek isn't the only one Deucalion wants in his pack…"

"What does his wanting me in the pack as an emissary have to do with Scott's mom?" Avery asked, trying to make sense of what she was saying.

"What…" Stiles started to ask then gasped as it occurred him and he started stumbling over his words, "That's why they took you. Oh my god…"

"I'm talking about Scott."

With all eyes back on her, Aleine continued, "Deucalion doesn't just want an alpha pack. He wants perfection. Which not only means a powerful emissary…" Waving a hand to Avery as she spoke, then looking back to school as she continued, "It also means adding the rarest of Alphas to his ranks."

It was Peter who caught on the quickest as he realized, "A true alpha…"

Everyone listened as he filled them in on how a true alpha doesn't kill to steal their power, that it's done by the force of their own will.

They worked out a plan to get Cora down to the loading docks before the last ambulance left.

When Peter pointed out how the twins weren't going to let them just walk out, Scott volunteered to hold them off, and Peter agreed to help him, under the condition that they had an advantage.

Everyone scrambled trying to find something he could use as a weapon.

While Avery found an unlocked medicine cart she opened it and started looking through the contents. She heard Derek tell Stiles to leave the defibulator alone.

Picking up a large prefilled syringe, she read the label and smirked as she pulled the needle cap off and innocently called out in a sweet voice, "Peter… I think I have something to help you."

Walking over he looked at what she had in her hand, he snarkily sighed, "Yeah, while the terrifyingly huge alpha out there is trying to rip my head off, I'll take the time to ask it to bend over and drop it's pants so I can give it a shot!"

Her smirk grew as she turned to face him and plunged the needle deep into his chest, a roar of pain filled the room and a clawed hand landed on her arm.

"Peter!" Derek said as he headed towards them and to Avery's aid.

But Avery kept her grip firm on the syringe with her trigger thumb at the ready.

"Down killer." She laughed before explaining, "This is like Viagra for your adrenal glands. One shot of this, and you'll be stronger, faster and more alert."

"What is it?" Derek asked, blocking out all the excessively loud clanking from Scott and Stiles frantically searching the room.

"Epinephrine."

"She's right." He nodded.

He released the tight grip he'd had on Avery's arm and nodded and braced himself as she emptied the contents of the syringe.

When she started to pull it back out, he roughly grabbed her arm again and quietly growled, "You ever do anything like that again and I'll…"

"What? Thank me for giving you the boost you need to fight the alphas?"

Seeing Derek was watching them closely, he slowly let go of her arm which she quickly pulled back, leaving the needle buried in his chest.

~()~

"It's still here!" Avery breathed out in relief as she saw the ambulance when they walked into the loading dock.

Stiles opened the back doors and helped Derek guide his sisters body inside and onto the stretcher.

"Derek… over here." Aleine called, and Avery followed him around the side of the ambulance to see her mom standing next to the deceased driver.

"What's happening?" Stiles questioned.

Rushing back to the back of the ambulance she whisper yelled at him, "Stay in there with Cora, and lock the doors."

A look of fear and confusion flooded over his face until he realized she meant at least one of the alphas was in the garage with them.

Nodding he reached out a hand, intending to help her up in there with him but she shook her head back and forth.

"Avery!" He exclaimed shaking his hand out.

Looking around the side of the ambulance she saw Kali swinging the keys around her finger and challenging Derek.

Her gaze fell to the floor before she took a deep ragged breath, and reached under the side of her dress, retrieving one of her ring daggers from the thigh holster she set the handle down in his open hand.

He looked up at her with wide eyes.

They're eyes met and he saw her eyes turn glossy as she took a step back away from him, "I have to go with Derek."

Closing his fingers around the handle of the weapon he quietly asked, "You're not just talking about this whole situation here are you?"

Letting out a ragged breath she stepped forward, leaned up and pressed a gentle, loving kiss to his cheek. The small gesture was all it took for his own eyes to sting from tears. And he knew exactly what it meant, they were over – really over.

In a moment were they call could die, she was choosing to die next to Derek.

Stepping back a tear of her own rolled down her cheek, as she grabbed a hold of the doors when she heard Derek, telling her mom that they were going to have to run for it.

"Lock the doors." She silently mouthed as she closed them as quietly as possible, pausing for another second to look at him through the glass windows before turning and running with Derek and her mom away from Kali. Leaving Stiles to fend for himself and watch over Cora.

Racing down the hallway as fast as she could, she made it into the elevator last, but Kali was only steps behind her.

Upon the realization that the female alpha was going to make it on the elevator with them, she reached into the other holster and pulled her last weapon.

"Avery, get back!" Derek yelled, grabbing her just as she threw her dagger at the angry alpha.

With a scream of pain, Kali pulled the knife from where it had been lodged in her kneecap. The small pause gave the elevator doors just enough time to close completely.

Her mom let out a sigh of relief and leaned against the wall as she complimented, "Nice shot, Avery."

But she didn't respond as she realized she was now weaponless, if they ran across the alphas again she'd have her hunter and self-defense training, which would only last so long against an alpha werewolf. Especially ones as strong as Deucalion's murderous pack.

Breathing heavily from the adrenaline rush and the full on sprint to the elevator, Avery breathed heavily and looked down to where Derek's arm was still curled around her.

Relaxing for a moment, she leaned her body back against his, feeling him breathing just as rapidly as she was. They'd managed to evade death; for a few more minutes at least. It wasn't long before the elevator shook, before halting to an abrupt stop that made it feel like her stomach jumped into her throat.

Derek's hold tightened on her was they waited with bated breath to see what was going to happen.

The seconds felt like years as time slowly ticked on until the generators kicked in, but they weren't powerful enough to move the elevator. Just give them small emergency lights to light their temporary prison.

Stepping out of his arms Avery looked around for a way out, as Derek approached the doors and opened them, revealing what they all suspected that they were trapped between 2 floors.

"Derek." Avery called as she pointed up to the hatch on top of the elevator.

"Wait!" Aleine called, "You can't open that, it's not only locked, but bolted from the outside. When you break it, it would signal our location."

"Kali already knows where we are, if we don't break it to get out. They'll break it to get in here to us. Then we don't stand a chance." Avery argued with her mom.

Agreeing Derek said, "If we go through there, we can get to another floor."

"Or you'd end up fighting them alone in an elevator shaft. They will rip my head off before you can even land a punch." Aleine continued to plead her case.

Looking over to Avery he asked, "You've got you other knife, right?"

She bit down on her bottom lip and shook her head back and forth.

"What do you mean no? You only used one on Kali."

"I left my other one with Stiles, so if someone found him…" Her voice grew hoarse and she shook her head back and forth unable to finish her sentence.

Facing her Derek questioned, "Why didn't you stay at the ambulance?"

A somber smile toyed at the corners of her lips as she admitted, "Because I don't know if any of us are going to make it out of here alive. And if I die tonight the person I want to be with… the last face I want to see is yours."

His eyes moved back and forth over her face; reading not just her words, but her expression and emotions too.

Her eyes locked with his and her voice was quiet but strong, as she bravely said, "So if you want to bust open that service hatch and try to get out that way, then I'm with you 100%"

"And what if we do that and they catch us before we make it to the next floor?" He questioned.

With a small smile she said, "Then I fight them… right by your side."

She saw his eyebrows push together as he stared back at her, understanding the gravity of what she was saying to him. He'd been listening to her heart as she spoke every word to him, she was telling the truth.

After everything they'd faced, all of the heartache and loss, she believed and trusted in him enough to follow his plan, even if it got them both killed.

Stepping closer to her his tone was serious as he said, "No, if they catch us… you have to run. I'll hold them off."

He glanced down to her chest when he heard her heart starting to race wildly, at his words.

"No." She asserted.

"Yes." He argued.

He opened his mouth to protest to tell her that her life was the most important thing to him, and that if he died for her to survive than it was worth it. At least with his last breath, he'd have the peace of knowing she got away, that she got to live. He took her face in his hands as his eyes locked with hers, "I love you…" He breathed out before capturing her quivering lips with a kiss of desperation, caring about her enough to respect what might possibly be her last wishes.

They'd both been so caught up in the moment that they completely forgot Avery's mother was still there with them, until she cleared her throat and said, "You both realize that's suicide right?"

They both looked at her with annoyed expressions.

"Think about it, Kali knows we got onto the elevator but she doesn't know we're still here… text one of your friends, have them turn on the backup generators and we can get off of here." She instructed, acting like they should already know this.

"Or we can go with your entirely incompetent plan and not only are we all dead, but Cora and Stilinski are dead too." She pointed out, knowing they weren't about to trust her.

With a sigh of defeat Derek pulled the phone from his pocket and texted Scott who told them to try and stay put, that he was on his way.

But Avery frowned knowing the plan would only work if Scott survived the dangerous journey through the hospital.
