You guess correct, it's Future Sesshomaru. Also, I want to clear something up. Present Sesshomaru has encountered Rena, not Future Sesshomaru. I don't want to confuse anyone. Present Sesshomaru is okay.

Chapter Forty Two
Early, somewhere in the middle of the forest with Viper and Future Sesshomaru encountered.
"So, you finally know who killed your wife," Sesshomaru said with emotionless in his eyes and in a calm voice.
"Wait, how do you know?" Viper asked, sounding surprise. He immediately realizes something. "Wait a minute, you're..." he stares at Sesshomaru and notices something different. His appearance look older and his kimono were torn and worn.
"Could he be?
Wanting to confirm his suspicion, he yanked out his sword and plunged into the Sesshomaru's stomach. His eyes widen when his sword went through Sesshomaru's stomach and Sesshomaru remain standing with no injury.
"NO WAY!" Viper exclaimed and yanked his sword back in shock. He can't believe what he saw. When he stabbed Sesshomaru, his sword went right through as if Sesshomaru wasn't there.
"You're Sesshomaru from the future," he managed to said.
"Now, you know who I am," Sesshomaru spokes. "I want you to do me a favor or else I'll destroy you". He threatened as he walked up to Viper.
"Impossible, how are you still here?" asked Viper, who was still in shock. He can't believe standing in front of him was the future Sesshomaru that he saw Cobramaru killed.
"Are you going to do what I ask you or not?" Sesshomaru asked, getting impatient.
Knowing that he wouldn't easily get answers from Sesshomaru, he agreed.
"Fine, what is that you want me to do for you?"
"I want you to help Saige fight Cobramaru".
"Even if you didn't tell me, I would have helped her fight Cobramaru," Viper scoffed and folded his arms. "After all, I do have a score to settle with Cobramaru, well more like wanting to destroy him".
"That doesn't concern me at all, are you in or not?"
"This should answer your question," Viper tossed something at Sesshomaru, who swiftly caught it. He opened his hand and saw two worn hair pins. He immediately recognized them and knew that Viper has agreed and is now on Saige's side.
Without saying another word, Sesshomaru tosses the worn two hair pins back at Viper, who caught it quickly.
Then he transformed himself into a ball of light and Viper took it in his hands. Knowing what Sesshomaru wanted to go, he quickly took off running.
Now back to the Present
Kagome and Rin rush over to Saige, who was lying unconscious on the ground. Rin lift Saige's head up and rest it on her lap.
"Saige, wake up," She touches Saige's face. Her face was plaster with concern. "Can you hear me?"
Inuyasha growls and glares at Viper. "What did you do to Saige?" he demanded, aiming his Tetsaiga at him.
"Nothing, I was just giving her a message. Well it's more like a request".
"From whom?"
Viper scoffed and folds his arms. "Seriously Inuyasha, I thought you would know just by sniffing the scent out".
"Scent?" Inuyasha eyes widen when he remember the scent that the blue ball of light was giving off earlier. "Could it be?" He wondered if the scent he picked up earlier actually belong to the person he think it is.
"What are you doing here?" he asked a minute later, ignoring the question he was being asked.
"I'm here to help," Viper responded.
"Really or is this a trick?" Inuyasha said, not totally convince that Viper wanted to help them. He still hasn't lowered his Tessaiga down.
Viper had tried to killed them so it really hard for Inuyasha to trust what he said about helping them. Tetsaiga was still out by his side ready to strike if Viper tried to make a move to attack them.
"Believe what you want, but I'm here to help," said Viper, who's not bother by what Inuyasha think. "Maybe this will convince you".
"What?"
"I know where Cobramaru's corpse is at in this time".
"Where?"
Viper scoffed. "Before we continue this conversation, I suggest you check on Saige first".
Knowing Viper was right; Inuyasha lowered his sword down and went over to the others, who were worried about Saige. He kneels down beside Kagome, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"We need to take her inside". He whispered to her.
Kagome agrees and then turned to Rin, who was beside her, worrying for Saige. "Let's bring Saige inside. She will be alright".
"Okay," Rin nodded and let Inuyasha carried Saige inside with her and others following behind him.
Viper was about to follow them when suddenly out of nowhere a sword flew toward him nearly hit him. Lucky, he dodged out of the way and the sword was implant in the tree behind him.
A figure flew down somewhere from the trees and landed in front of Viper.
"Didn't anyone told you that attack someone with their back turned is not playing nice," Viper swiftly yanked his sword and block the chain sickles that flying at him, sending back at the figure who catches and reveal himself to be Kohaku.
"Not if that person is evil and work for Cobramaru," Kohaku glares at Viper. He was about to attack Viper again.
"Hold it!" Viper spokes, but Kohaku refused to listen and proceed to attack him. He immediately jumped out the way and landed behind Kohaku, who pulled his sword out the tree.
"Listen, I didn't come here to attack," Viper spokes again, trying to stopped Kohaku.
"Shut up!"
Kohaku swings his sword at Viper, who blocks it with his sword. Both swords clashes together.
"I'm here to help you and others," He tried to explained.
"Like I'm going to believe your words," Kohaku spats, still not convince. "I'm not stupid. You are working with Cobramaru. You help him kill Ella!" He shoved Viper backward and swings his chain sickles.
Again Viper block it with sword
He can see anger and hatred in Kohaku's eyes. It made him realizes that Kohaku has lost some one and was hurting just like him.
Before he has a chance to think, he blurted. "Cobramaru killed my wife!"
Kohaku immediately stopped his attack. His sword was now aim at Viper's neck.
"What did you just say?" He asked.
Viper sighs "Cobramaru killed my wife and blame it on someone else. I didn't realize it until two days ago".
Kohaku slowly lower sword and move it away from Viper's neck. "What you are saying is it the truth?" He asked as he was starting to believe a little.
Viper nodded. "Cobramaru can shape shift to anyone he wants. He shape shift into Sesshomaru and made me think that he kill my wife, but he didn't. I was his pawn in his game".
"Why are you telling me this?" Kohaku asked as he placed his sword in it sheath.
"Because I knew you have lost someone close to you and that you want to kill Cobramaru. I also want to kill him too".
"So that's why you are here, you want to help us to stop him".
"Exactly," Viper replied as he placed his sword back in it sheath.
"If you're here to help then tell us where Cobramaru corpse is," a voice spokes.
Kohaku and Viper turned and see Inuyasha was walking toward them.
"Tell us what you know," Inuyasha demanded as he placed his hand on the handle of his sword.

Saige was in shock to see who was standing in front of her. "Father," She muttered. "Is it really you?"
Sesshomaru slightly smile. "Yes, it's really me," he confirmed.
Before she can't stop herself, she ran over and hugs him. "I can't believe it's you". She let him go and look at him. "But how are you here? Last time I remember you got absorb in Cobramaru's body".
"I did, but I escaped when he revive Rena back from the death," He told her.
"But what about the..."
"It's done, my part is complete. Now, it's up to you". Saige stares at him confused and know something was not right. She begins to back away from him.
"What's going on?" Not taking her eyes off his him, she placed her hand on Baksaiga in case the person in front of her was not her father and was planning to attack her.
"In order for purple pearl to completely work..." Sesshomaru started to say but Saige interrupt him.
"I know, you have to be absorbed by Cobramaru to activate inside his body, am I right?" Saige slowly removed her hand from Baksaiga once she was sure that it was her father standing in front her.
Sesshomaru nodded. "But there's more to it".
"What do you mean?" Saige asked, not liking what her father was about to say to her.
"A sacrifice must be made to the purple pearl," Sesshomaru replied and Saige slowly drop her hands down to her sides.
"Meaning life energy to the purple pearl," Saige said and Sesshomaru nodded. "So, you're..." Unable to say it, Saige looked away.
"Yes, I'm..."
"Don't say it!" Saige said with calm expression, not wanting to hear the truth. "I already knew that you wouldn't make it" She admitted. "Knowing that I could save you gave me hope that I would see you again, but I knew this would happen so rather not hear you say it".
"Saige?" Sesshomaru placed a hand on her shoulder.
Saige drops her hands down and swiftly turns to him. "Please tell that your sacrifice was worth it".
Sesshomaru didn't answers instead he turns her around facing him and embraces her in his arms.
"It's worth it because I did it for you. I have faith that you can defeat Cobramaru. You're not alone in this. I'm still with you in spirit. My spirit is inside of you and together with Inuyasha and others; we can defeat Cobramaru for good".
He let her go and stares at her. Saige was now calm and has determination in her eyes.
"How can you be sure that I can defeat Cobramaru?"
"Because I already weaken the power that Cobramaru had inside him with the purple pearl," he smirked. "Now you can easily destroy him, but you are going have to let my past self and Inuyasha along with the others help you"
Saige nodded before she felt herself being pulled away from her father.
"I won't let you down, father," She thought before she disappears and everything faded to black.

Saige sat up found herself in the hut with Jaken, Shippo, Sango, Miroku, Kagome, and Rin.
"Thank god, you are awake," Rin, who was by her side, gave her a hug. "You got me worry. What happen back there?"
"Nothing," Saige replied. "It was just a brief message from Viper. That's all". She turned and looked over at Kagome. "Where's Viper?"
"Outside, talking to Inuyasha and Kenzou," Kagome answered.
"Where's Fa... uh... Lord Sesshomaru?" Saige asked, correcting herself for almost calling Present Sesshomaru father.
"He hasn't return yet," Jaken answered.
Saige was about to get up, but Rin stopped her. "You need some rest".
"I'm going to search for Lord Sesshomaru. He might be in danger because of me". She told her.
Rin nodded and got up, grabbing her sword. "I'm going with you".
Saige was about protest, but seeing the determination and the worried on her mother's face, she agreed.

"So Sesshomaru future self is here," Inuyasha said, as he stood face to face with Viper. Kohaku was standing next to Inuyasha.
Viper nodded. "His soul, not his physical forms because it has been destroy inside of Cobramaru's body".
"Where is his soul now?"
"In Saige's body"
"What! That's insane!" Kohaku exclaimed, can't believe what he was hearing.
"That's what I thought at first too, but it's possible because Saige is Sesshomaru's kid".
"But, she's only a hanyou like me and I'm not sure if she able to handle Sesshomaru's soul inside of her". Inuyasha pointed out, worrying for Saige.
"She'll be okay, beside; she's stronger than you think. Beside it's only temporary.
"Strong?" Inuyasha stares at Viper and knew he wasn't lying.
"What do you mean temporary?" Kohaku asked. He was a bit confused at what Viper was saying.
"Let just say that there a plan on how to destroy Cobramaru".
"What's the plan?" Inuyasha retorted, wanted to know the plan that Viper had just mention.
Viper shook his head. "I can't tell you".
Angry, Inuyasha swiftly appears in front of Viper and grab him by the neck. "You better tell or else I will snap your neck!" He threatened.
"Really, do you always resort to violence to get some answers?" Viper asked calmly with a smirked on his face.
"Let him go, dad," Kenzou appears and grabbed Inuyasha's arm, trying to release Viper. "Even if you snapped his neck, he will never tell you". He pointed out. "Let's just trust him until he ready to tell us his plan".
"Kenzou is right, beside, Viper knows where Cobramaru's corpse is," Kohaku added, trying to convince Inuyasha to let Viper go.
"Fine," Inuyasha said a moment later, finally release Viper, who landed on the ground on his feet. "How do I know that you are telling the truth"?
"So," He turned and looked at his son. "You must have heard everything, am I right?"
Kenzou nodded.
Viper got up, rubbing his neck. He slightly was glaring at Inuyasha.
"First of all, I wouldn't let you grabbed my neck that easy and second of all, I am here to help you guys". Viper answered. "Finally, I have a score to settle with Cobramaru." He looked around. "Also, I want to warn that a demon named Rena is heading this way to destroy Saige as we speak.
Inuyasha folds his arms. "We already know." "I have a feeling that I know where Sesshomaru went". He though, "Where is Cobramaru corpse?"
"In a place where demon and hanyou can't get through because of a barrier," Viper answered.
"Be more specific," Inuyasha said, sounding annoyed by the answer.
"In a cave near a mountain"
"Not helpful enough because there are many caves and mountain," Kenzou pointed out, also annoy.
"Would it be more helpful if I take you there," Viper folded his arms.
"Sound good to me," Inuyasha said while Kenzou and Kohaku nodded.
Suddenly a ball of light flew pass Viper, Inuyasha, Kenzou, and Kohaku heading straight into the forest. Inuyasha turned and looked at Kenzou and Kohaku.
"Was that..."
Kenzou nodded. "Saige," was all he said.
Without saying a word, Kohaku took off after Saige.

Sesshomaru duck out of the way when Rena angrily swings her claws at his face. His hands glows and a yellow string appear. He swings toward her, slashing her in the arm. Blood was dripping from her arm, but Rena didn't seem to be bothered by it and kept on fighting when out of nowhere another yellow string appears and smack her in the face. It sends her flying backward and smacking her back against the tree.
"Saige!" Rena growled, recognizing the scent. "You're here aren't you?" She got up quickly and looked around.
"Saige?" Sesshomaru looked around for Saige when he saw her appears in front of him. "What is she doing here?"
"Rena, I'm surprise that Cobramaru revive you after I already killed you," A smirk appears on Saige's face. "I guess I'm going to have to kill you again".
"Not if I kill you first," Rena retorted and was about to charge at Saige.
"Not so fast," another voice spokes and Sesshomaru immediately recognize it. Rin run up to Saige and stood beside her. "You are going to have to fight me also if you want to kill Saige".
Saige glances over at Rin. "This is my fight not yours, so stand back". She sternly said.
"Saige..." Rin begins to said, but got stopped by Sesshomaru, who placed his hand on her shoulder and got in front of her.
"You're not going to fight this alone," he insisted, giving Saige the serious look.
"I can handle this," Saige coldly says, refusing her parents help.
Sesshomaru was about to protest when he senses Saige's aura was stronger than before. Something is different about Saige that he didn't notice before.
Rena's eye suddenly was glowing red and her fangs were showing. Swiftly, she charges toward Saige, swinging her claws.
"Stand back," Saige quickly glances back at her father and mother before she went to fight Rena.
Just when Rena reached and tried to slash at Saige, Saige disappeared and reappeared behind Rena.
Confused, Rena looked around before she turned around and got grabbed by the neck, lifted off the ground.
Refusing to lose, Rena pierced Saige's stomach with her right claw expecting Saige to release her.
"Saige!" Rin screamed when she saw her daughter got stabbed and ran forward but Sesshomaru grabbed her arm, pulling her back.
Shockingly, Saige doesn't seem affect by it and has tightened her grip on Rena's neck. She slammed Rena hard on the ground, aiming Baksaiga at her neck
"Your head will be slice off before you even tried to attack me," Saige coldly said.
There was no fear shown on Rena's face. Instead, she was smirking. "Go ahead kill me, I'll come back again and find you again".
"Is she really going to do it?" Rin asked out loud as she and Sesshomaru were watching from a far, wondering if Saige was going to killed Rena.
Sesshomaru assumed that Saige will, but when he stared at the expression on her face, he knew what Saige was thinking.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Kill me!" Rena spokes again trying to force Saige to do it.
"Very well, so be it!" Saige lift Baksaiga up and strike forward.
