I only own my OC's

Normal POV, Prison

Katie and Phineas sat in their cell, bouncing a ball to each other; their clothes had been replaced with prison uniforms; striped long sleeve shirts and pants with their I.D. numbers on the breast pocket. As they sat around they heard the door being fiddled with before opening and Raymond walking through.

Phineas and Katie immediately glared at him as they stood up, before Phineas asked, "What do you want?"

"I just came by to tell you that your resistance friends decided to keep resisting and were killed in battle." He replied with a grin.

Phineas and Katie's eyes went wide as they heard him speak, they both balled their fists before Phineas stated with fear, "You're lying."

He grinned and said, "I don't smile unless I have completed the mission or broken someone's resolve. Sad to say, that the cost of their actions wasted their lives. They could have had such bright futures ahead of them."

Phineas eyes began to water as he looked away; Katie balled her fists in anger as Raymond continued

"They all had the characteristics of good soldiers, though it was wasted in the resistance. However, the green haired boy and black headed girl caught my attention; they seemed different from the rest for some reason. I can't put my finger on it though; sometimes the good ones always have to be stupid. I mean they all must have been to assault such a fortified building."

Phineas' lips opened, his teeth gritted in anger.

"I see that fire in you boy, you obviously had some feelings for them, your comrades in arms. I could tell from when I first described them to you in my office. You only showed more worry for these two. Though it's too bad you got caught you might have been able to help them; instead you let them die." Phineas opened his eyes, yelling and charging Raymond, in rage.

"Phineas no!" Katie hollered as she tried to grab him, but he moved to fast.

As Phineas tried to punch Raymond in the head, Raymond reacted by moving his head to the right and grabbing Phineas' arm and punching him in the stomach several times. Raymond then tossed him to the other side of the room.

Phineas lay on the floor, coughing heavily and having trouble breathing as he clutched his stomach; Katie gritted her teeth in anger after seeing her friend on the ground.

"Now that struck a nerve, I love that anger boy. I guess you really cared about them." He then looked towards Katie and continued, "How about you Katie, were you close to them? I'm guessing that the black haired teen was your leader and the others were your sisters and brothers in arms, so to speak. Though if you just stood there after what I did to him, indicating Phineas, this whole time, I'm guessing you didn't care really care about them did you; you're a god damn weakling."

Katie's anger boiled over and she quickly charged Raymond, as Phineas did. Being more experienced in fighting than Phineas, she dodged and threw punches at Raymond, she managed to successfully hit him in the face, before he caught her arm and dislocated her shoulder. Katie screamed in pain before she was tossed to the left wall taking most of the impact on her crippled arm, before sliding down and clutching it.

Raymond grinned as he wiped the side of his mouth, "You've got some skill little girl; I'm impressed. Not many people have managed to land a hit on me." He then straightened out his uniform and said, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be. I'll see you two later." He turned around and began to walk back to into the hallway.

Phineas got up and charged him again, shouting, "I'll kill you." Before he got to Raymond, the door closed on him. He glared at Raymond who laughed and said, "Keep up that anger boy, and you may become a soldier yet."

Phineas hit the door with his fist. He then heard Katie whimper in pain, as she continued to clutch her shoulder. Phineas limped over to her, his adrenaline wearing off, now he felt the pain in his gut. He knelt beside her, "Katie, be strong we'll get out of here."

"Phineas you heard him, they're dead." Katie stated as she started to cry.

"No, I don't believe him, he's lying. They're still alive." Phineas replied, with desperation.

"Phineas it's over, just give it up; like Ryan said, "The resistance will soon be crushed."" Phineas looked down with sadness as he continued to kneel beside her, wondering what to do next.

Ryan's POV, Prison, two hours later.

I needed to talk to Phineas and Katie before meeting with the squad, as I approached the cell I keyed the lock before opening the door and stepping inside. As I entered I saw Phineas tending to Katie's arm.

"What happened?" I asked as I approached them.

Phineas quickly got up and stood between Katie and me. "Stay away from her." I could see the anger in his eyes but I could also see the sadness behind the rage and that he was in pain himself.

"Phineas, let me help her." I offered as I took a step forward.

He then rushed and attacked me. I didn't want to hurt him, but I needed to get him under control. I quickly gained the upper hand and pinned him against the wall. "If you had done that to anyone else you would be dead by now. Now calm the fuck down, and tell me what happened!"

"Like you don't already know." He growled as he struggled to get free, the anger apparent in his voice.

I made sure I still had control over him then asked, "What do I know?"

"That our friends are dead!" he shouted in rage, as he freed himself. He managed to turn the odds and pushed me against the wall and pinned me. He then grabbed my pistol, out of its hostler, and aimed it at my head. I looked into his eyes, and saw the rage. I could see the pistol shaking, I knew he was hesitating.

I took a deep breath then said, "First of all, before you shoot me in a blind rage, let me tell you that whoever told you that lied to you, to both of you. Your friends are still very much alive and fighting."

"Bullshit! Raymond came by earlier and told us what happened!" he shouted as he pushed the pistol against my forehead.

"He lied. If you think shooting me will help; then go ahead, pull the trigger!" I shouted at him.

As I looked directly at him I noticed his hand began to shake and the rage boiling in his eyes. A hand then covered top of the pistol; we both looked to see Katie, in obvious pain, looking towards Phineas. He then looked towards me and slowly lowered the pistol; letting me go then handing it back to me before asking, "Why would he lie to us?"

As I holstered my piece, I said, "It's one of Raymond's specialties, he loves breaking people's will and watching them suffer. He also loves to fight and especially win; from what I see he did a number on you two."

Katie looked away as she cradled her shoulder and sat down on the bunk; while Phineas sat beside her, both looking defeated.

"He's growing into more of a psychopath each day. He needs to be stopped. Which is why I'm willing to help you both escape from here." I replied.

They were both surprised by what I said, Katie then asked, "Hold on. Just a day ago you said that the resistance would soon be crushed and now you want to help us defeat Doofenshmirtz, why?"

I looked at them and replied, "Because the resistance has proven that it can still win this war, and I'm sick of being here. I'm sick of serving a tyrant, and most of all I'm sick of living in fear for my family. Several other soldiers and I are willing to help in the fight against Doofenshmirtz. That is on one condition."

"What?" Phineas asked.

"If I help you escape, I want you to hide my mother and sister, their safety is my first priority. I don't want to see them get hurt." I stated.

Phineas and Katie both looked at each other and nodded before Phineas said, "You've got a deal, we'll help you."

I smiled a little, "Thank you." I looked towards Katie and said, "Here Katie let me take a look at that arm." I said as I examined her arm. She hissed in pain as I touched it, when I got to her shoulder she nearly screamed. I sighed and said, "From what I can feel, that bastard dislocated your shoulder."

"Is there anything you can do for her?" Phineas asked.

I gulped and said, "There is one way but…"

"What" she interrupted me.

"I have to pop your shoulder back into place and without anything to numb your arm, it's going to hurt like hell." I replied worriedly.

"Just do it." She stated not even looking at me.

I nodded and took off my arm band before rolling it up and holding it in front of her mouth. I then said, "Bite onto this, it'll help a little with the pain." She looked at me questioningly, I said, "Trust me."

She bit onto it. I nodded and said, "Okay, now lie down on the bed, on your back, with your shoulder over the edge." She nodded and lay down. I interlaced her fingers with mine and said, "Okay I'm going pull slowly, and your shoulder should pop back into place." She nodded and I started pulling slowly so that I didn't injure it further, she closed her eyes and bit hard onto the armband after a few minutes it popped back in.

"How does it feel?" I asked.

"Better, though I'm going to need a sling." she said as she got up.

"I'll get you a sling so your arm can heal properly." I then looked towards Phineas and said, "Make sure she doesn't move her shoulder too much, and help her stretch it out. I'll come by later and give you some pain killers, don't worry about other guards finding them, they don't check the cells."

I got up and said, as I exited the room, "I promise you'll be out of here in a few days." I closed the door behind me and went to meet the squad.
