Chapter 3: Alien Transfer Student
"Hmm..."
Goku mumbled in his sleep, tossing and turning around in his bed as he did so.
"?"
Something felt wrong. His hand began moving around as he used it to survey his bed.
*SQUISH*
He came into contact with something very soft, but had a completely different texture compared to his bed or pillows.
He opened his eyes slowly before they widened like saucers as he realized what it was that was beside him.
That something was a girl with long pink hair.
"...! Lala...!? Then what I'm feeling is...?!"
He raised the sheets, and saw a familiar white robot underneath.
"...It's just Peke!"
He muttered in relief as he fell out of bed and hit his head on the ground. He was thankful that thanks to his training he felt nothing much from the impact.
"?" The pinkette moaned softly as she slowly sat up and began stretching her limbs. "...What's wrong Goku?"
"What's wrong...? Why the heck are you my bed...!? And before that, could you please tell me why the heck are you naked!?"
"Eh? But I wanted to sleep with you." The girl replied as she rubbed her eyes.
"And it's quite hard for me to maintain Lala-sama's clothes for a long time you know. I'd need to recharge every now and then." Peke spoke up from behind her master.
"Ugh..." A face palm wouldn't have summed up the absurdity of this situation. Right now he didn't have the strength for it, not when he was newly awake anyway.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
"Goku? How long do plan on sleeping in? You'll be late for-"
Son Mikan entered the room half-expecting her brother to be still asleep.
The sight of her older brother, still in his boxers, and the alien girl known as Lala, who was completely naked and in his bed, was not something she was expecting to see.
...
"Sorry for disturbing you."
"YOU'RE WRONG!"
"Ugh... how did my life end up so crazy like this?"
"Goku~!" Lala cheerfully held one the boy's arms close to her.
The two teens departed from the Son home after breakfast and were on their way to school.
Goku then thought back to the previous day, just after Lala had transferred into his class and during lunch time, where the girl explained what she was doing there in the first place.
Yesterday...
"So? Mind telling me why you decided to transfer in all of a sudden?"
Both Goku and Lala sat on the pavement of the school roof, the former giving an impatient glare at her while the latter remained oblivious to it.
"Eh? Is there anything wrong with that?"
"A lot actually. Not only did you more or less make my life even more difficult than it already was, but you also kind of made me a target among all the others boys when you told people that you were staying at my place." He deadpanned.
Lately for Goku, sarcasm was one of the things that he begun developing for him after entering high school. He also thought it was also because of being friends with a guy like Saruyama for years.
"But, I only wanted to be by your side all the time." The girl admitted with a smile on her face.
"...!"
Seeing her smile and the small hint of a blush on her face was enough for Goku to drop the issue entirely. He didn't know if it was Lala specifically or if all cute girls had the ability to control him like this. He remembered his sister Mikan doing something similar when they were younger, but that was years ago.
"Geez..." He massaged the back of his head. "Well, it's not like we could do anything about it now. But you could've at least given me a little warning. Guys won't stop giving me the evil eye now."
"Well it's not like you can't handle can't you Goku? After all, you're the strongest person I know other than my daddy!" She declared.
"...Thanks I guess, maybe it's a compliment being compared to the Galaxy's ruler?" He said before realizing another matter regarding Lala's transfer.
"Now that I think about it, how did you get into this school anyway?"
"Oh, that was easy. I just talked to someone called, the Principal, and he said..."
"You're cute, so it's okay!"
'That perverted old man...'
"But don't worry or anything, I didn't tell anyone I was alien."
"Good. The last thing we want is people figuring out what you are." He noted as he remembered something he once read in a history book.
During the Age 820, over 75 years ago, the Earth had been invaded by an alien group known as the Planet Trade Organization. They were driven away by his ancestor's sons, Gohan and Goten, Trunks Briefs, one of Vegeta's ancestors, and the martial artist known as Uub, who had been dubbed by great ancestor as his successor. They were also helped by the Kikoukenjutsu School, which was founded by both Goten and Trunks.
After that, the Earth had become paranoid of the possibility of another alien invasion and prepared themselves by studying the book that Son Gohan had published back in Age 804. This helped increase the interest in martial arts across the populace.
He didn't know how people would react if they became aware of Lala's existence as an alien princess. He didn't even want to think about it out of worry for the girl.
Also, he noted that despite the fact that the Earth had already been aware of the existence of Ki, and that many of the Martial Artists of today used it, many were still suspicious of it, mostly because of its limitless ability to grow in strength.
So, in order to keep the peace, Martial Artists were only allowed to perform such techniques in areas designed to withstand such power. One of which would have been the Tenkaichi Budokai stadium which had been redesigned so that when stray Ki attacks would fly towards the audience, they would hit an energy barrier to prevent any incidents from happening.
Here in Sainan, Goku, together with his grandmother Pan and a few others, were the only users in the city. Vegeta didn't count since his family lived in Capsule City and his rival would only fly all the way here so that they could fight. Thus, people would occasionally be surprised by the feats of superhuman ability that they would display at times. Since Goku didn't want to attract much attention to himself, he also made himself act as normal as possible, despite his reputation.
"Thank goodness that Goku-dono is dependable despite looking somewhat dumb." Peke spoke up for the first time, breaking Goku out of his thoughts with her words.
"Dumb!?" That was the second time Peke had referred to Goku as being stupid.
"Otherwise, I'll be quite worried about Lala-sama's safety on a backwater planet such as this one." She mentioned, and because of her, Goku took note of something else.
"Wait, you're having Peke transform into the uniform aren't you?"
"Um! Does it look good on me?" Lala twirled around.
"Of course it does." Goku admitted, knowing that denying it would've been pointless given Lala's appearance. "But you have to do me a favor and get a set of the real uniform just like everyone else does."
"But why?"
"Didn't you build Peke yourself?" Goku asked already exasperated. "The moment something happens to her means you'd probably wind up naked, and I'm not dealing with that here in school of all places."
"Eh? But that's such a pain!"
"No buts! If you want to stay here at school with me then you have to get the uniform!" Goku replied like a parent telling their child what to do.
"Alright..." Lala nodded in defeat, causing Goku to sigh in relief.
'Good, at least that's one problem down.'
"But in return!" The pink-haired princess began as she clung tightly to him, causing the young man to blush as he felt her breasts rub against him. "You have to show me around the city later, okay~?"
"Oh, alright." He complied.
"Yay~!"
"That girl is a real troublesome princess..." Goku mumbled to himself as he sat in class.
It was now the afternoon and classes ended early that day. Because of this, the teacher called for the class representative.
"Sairenji-kun, you're the class representative aren't you?" He asked. "Would you mind showing Deviluke-san the school club activities?"
"Ah, alright sensei." Haruna replied, feeling uncertain on the matter regarding the pink-haired girl.
Walking up to said girl, she gave her best friendly introduction.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Sairenji Haruna."
"Hello!" Lala waved enthusiastically.
Off to the side, Goku watched with scene with a troubled expression on his face.
'Why did it have to be her...?'
Using his abilities to his advantage, Goku followed them without anyone noticing him.
He was somewhat relaxed by the fact that things between the two seemed normal enough as Haruna showed Lala around the various club activity rooms.
'It looks like they're getting along pretty well. Am I worried about nothing? I just hope Lala doesn't do anything too weird.'
As the two girls walked with each other, the blue-haired teen kept glancing at the pinkette who had been surveying her surroundings with glee.
'She doesn't remember me...?'
Haruna was not really surprised by that fact. She did remain quiet at the time and left almost as fast the girl had appeared out of nowhere.
She also took note of the strange tail-like appendage that was sticking out from beneath the pinkette's skirt.
'Is it some sort of accessory...?'
"Hey, Haruna."
"Eh?" She was surprised when the girl suddenly called out to her. "W-What is it?"
"School is really fun isn't it? Everyone here seems to be having a good time. I'm glad I came!" Lala smiled at her.
Haruna was taken aback by her statement, not really expecting it.
"I-I guess."
As Haruna continued to show the girl around, a question by the pinkette put her to a grinding halt.
"Hey Haruna, do you have someone you like?"
Everything in Haruna's mind went blank as she faced the girl with a slight blush on her face.
"W-What makes you ask that?"
"You see, I fell in love with someone recently. That person helped me out a lot lately, and now I really want to be around him all the time. It makes my heart feel so warm!" Lala admitted, a smile on her face as she thought about a certain spiky-haired martial artist.
Silently, Haruna could only think back to the other day.
'The person she's talking about... it's Goku isn't it?'
Sitting on a tree branch, Goku could hear everything they had talked about.
"Damn it Lala, why did you have to ask her about that?" He groaned. Haruna would probably think that Lala was referring to him given what happened the other day.
Suddenly, a flash of brilliance crossed Goku's mind.
"Wait, isn't this a chance to find out of Haruna has someone she like?" He spoke to himself. He then began thanking Lala mentally as he made his way closer to the two.
'Just a little more and I... huh?'
*BUMP*
A baseball struck his head, but thanks to his training, he didn't feel it as it bounced off his head and landed near the two girls.
"What's that...?"
"That's the baseball clubs..." Haruna began as Lala picked up the ball and looked at it with awe.
The pinkette then turned towards the field where the members were playing.
"Hey! Let me try it!"
"Lala-san...!?" She cried out in surprise as the girl moved very quickly towards the field.
"...? Hey, that girl is...!"
"Isn't she the rumoured transfer student?"
"Wow, what a beauty!"
"Interesting." One of the other members said, this one being distinct for being quite handsome and having blonde-hair despite his Japanese appearance.
"Motemitsu-senpai!"
"It's a good chance. I, the ace pitcher of the baseball club, will throw for her."
As Lala got up on the plate and was taught what to do, Goku crossed his arms as he watched on with interest at the sight.
'Lala and baseball huh? This might get interesting.' He thought.
"She's pretty cute, so I'll go easy on her." With that, Motemitsu threw the ball at Lala.
*SMACK*
Everyone was gobsmacked as they watched the ball being hit dead on by Lala and sent flying far out into the sky.
"Wow!"
"And she's just a beginner!?"
Goku himself was slightly amazed. Despite being a beginner, Lala had hit that ball right on the mark. He wasn't really surprised when saw the ball fly far as he already felt how strong Lala was compared to average human, but seeing it still was quite a treat.
"It went far!" Lala smiled at her act.
"Lala-sama, please do try to hold back a little. Except for maybe Goku-dono, Earthlings are far weaker compared to you, a Devilukean." Peke spoke up.
"Heh, not only is she pretty, but she's pretty good at this too." Motemitsu smirked.
"I've decided. I'll let you be my girlfriend!"
"That's Motemitsu-senpai for you! Going straight for the kill!"
"No thanks, I already have someone I like." Lala replied, causing the former to face fault.
"That's Motemitsu-senpai for you! He got rejected immediately!"
"Argh, alright then! How about match then!? If you cannot hit this next ball then you have to become my girlfriend!"
"Oi."
Everyone was silenced when they saw a young man with spiky black hair step onto the field.
"Hey, isn't he...?"
"Yeah, he's the Junior Champ of the Tenkaichi Budokai! The descendant of Mr. Satan!"
Haruna began watching the scene with renewed interest.
"Goku-kun...?"
"Ah, Goku~!" Lala went over to him immediately. The young man only sighed as he massaged his forehead.
'I can't believe I'm doing this.'
Goku sighed to himself. He disliked the way Motemitsu had been eyeing Lala, and decided to do something about it.
"Having fun?" He laid down his hand as he smiled at her.
"Um! This school has a lot of fun sports to play!"
"Mind if I take a swing?"
"Alright then." The girl nodded and handed him the bat.
"W-What is this?" One of the baseball members said. "Why are the two of them so casual?"
"I heard that he and the transfer student are living together."
"What!? With a beauty like her!? That's so unfair!"
"Hmph. So a jealous boyfriend? How unsightly." Motemitsu smirked. He knew who Goku was but wasn't afraid of him.
"I'm not her boyfriend." Goku said as he took position on the plate. "Just someone who's looking after her, that's all."
"Then do you mind leaving? My match is with the transfer student."
"I'll tell you what. If I can't hit your ball, I'll leave. But if I do..."
A devilish smile appeared on Goku's face, unsettling some of the baseball members and most of all, Motemitsu himself.
"You'll shave your head clean."
Everyone gasped at the bet, Motemitsu himself becoming slightly unnerved at the prospect of him becoming bald.
"What makes you think I'd agree...?"
"Didn't think that the ace pitcher of the baseball club would be so afraid of losing to a complete rookie... What's matter? Too chicken?"
At that, everyone began whispering.
"Grr... You've got yourself a deal then!"
The two took their positions, Motemitsu began smirking wildly.
'I don't care if he's a martial arts prodigy or not! He's still a complete amateur when it comes to baseball, that I'm sure of!'
He raised his throwing hand, readying his strongest throw yet.
"You can't beat me!"
The ball zoomed towards Goku at an incredibly fast rate that even the latter was somewhat impressed given Motemitsu's average human strength.
'Still...'
*SMACK*
'...Not fast enough.'
"Wha...!?"
*BAM*
Goku hit the ball so hard, that when it hit Motemitsu right in the face, it sent him flying a few feet away from where he had stood.
The baseball club members could only watch in shock as their ace pitcher was down for the count. A few members went by to check his condition and found him out cold.
"What? The condition was that I hit the ball. Never said anything about hitting him with it after I did." He smiled smugly as he directed V-sign at them.
He then threw the bat back at one of the members who clumsily caught it.
"Make sure he to call his barber about head being shaved alright?" Goku laughed as he decided to leave. He waved goodbye to Lala and Haruna as disappeared.
"Goku really is great~!"
Lala cheered happily while Haruna was somewhat speechless.
That was the first time she had seen Goku angry at someone like that. She had seen similar expressions before, but this one was different compared to the rest.
'Is it because he was angry at how Motemitsu-senpai was talking to Lala-san? Or... was he like that because he was jealous?'
"That was kind of fun, maybe I should do stuff like that more often?" Goku wondered to himself. Putting jerks like that Motemitsu guy in his place was something of a hobby to him these days whenever he encountered one.
The young man went towards one of the soda machines, getting himself a drink as he sat down on a nearby bench.
"Zastin, is something wrong?"
"As always you continue to surprise me Goku-dono." Zastin said as he appeared in front of Goku.
"May I ask how is it that you were able to know my presence?"
"Easy, all life gives off a signature. If you know how to look for that signature, you'll be able to sense anything anywhere."
"I see. We have machines for such purposes but it seems you have the ability to do this without such things." The other man replied as he put a hand under his chin.
"Enough about that, when did you get back to Earth?" Goku asked as he drank his soda.
"Only a short while ago. I have a message from his Highness to you." He took out a device and it floated right in front of Goku.
'I knew this would come sooner or later...'
"Son Goku..."
Goku gulped slightly at the deep, menacing tone that came from the device. Lala's father had a deep voice, that was for sure.
"I heard everything about you from Zastin's report. Therefore, I shall approve of you as Lala's fiancée candidates!"
'I knew it...'
"Though I had my doubts since you were an earthling, hearing that you managed to defeat Zastin so easily when he's one of my top soldiers changed my mind. Add to the fact that you're the first guy Lala has ever favored in her life."
'Wait, does that make her first love then?'
He was unsure of how to feel on such a fact. A part of him was slightly honored and happy at it.
"Listen, I eventually decide when the marriage will take place, until then try your best to protect Lala. The entire northern galaxy is now aware of your existence. Some of the other candidates were none too pleased with how you won Lala's favor, so they will eventually appear on Earth themselves and try to take Lala away."
'Lala's other suitors? Does that mean I'll have to fight?'
A part of him felt nervous at this thought. Who knew how many aliens would appear and how powerful they would be compared to him?
At the same time, he felt excited. Although he enjoyed his bouts with Vegeta and with his other rivals, he always wanted to take on new challenges aside from them, and he knew they must've felt the same as well.
He decided now wasn't the time to think about such things and continued to listen to the message.
"If you manage to protect Lala from them and complete the marriage ceremony without harm, then I shall officially acknowledge you as my successor."
"HOWEVER!" Goku covered his ears from the sudden yell.
"If fail to live up to my expectations and something happens to Lala, then I shall destroy you and your entire planet too!"
Goku flinched at that, the gravity of the situation now dawning on him.
"So good luck, and remember it well." Lala's father signed off somewhat cheerfully, contrasting greatly with his earlier threat.
'Wow... talk about responsibility... the fate of the Earth is now in my hands...'
"I should warn you now Goku-dono." Zastin spoke up as the young fighter looked up at him.
"Once there was a man who insulted our King. That man insult him so much that after a certain point, the King snapped and blew up the man and his planet altogether."
'How petty...!'
"I wish you luck on this matter Goku-dono. I know in my heart you will succeed." Zastin laid a hand upon Goku's shoulder who cursed his luck with the universe.
Later at the Son home...
"Hey Goku," Mikan spoke up as she and her brother sat at the table.
"Hmm?" Goku was drinking some water.
"So when are you and Lala-san getting married?"
Goku spat out his drink when Mikan questioned him with a coy smile.
"Oh come on, not you too!"
"What? I don't think it's a bad idea." Mikan stated. "After all, she's real pretty and really nice too. You'll never find another girl like her if you don't marry her."
"Thank you for your confidence in your brother Mikan, I really appreciate it." Goku sarcastically replied. Truly, this side of him awakened when he hit puberty.
"Besides," Mikan added. "It'd be nice to have someone else other than just the three of us staying in this house. Ever since she showed up, our place has become a lot more livelier. I've never been so happy!" She smiled.
Goku only sighed at that. True, with Lala entering their lives the Son home had become much more cheerful and happy than it was before.
"Goku!" Lala entered the room with a towel in hand.
"Let's take a bath together~!"
Goku's flashed red at that, his mouth agape.
"No! And in case you missed it the first time, hell no!"
"Aw! Don't you want to bathe with me...?"
"That's not something casually ask a guy!" He retorted.
"Give it up Lala-san, Goku may be a brave fighter, but he'd never have the courage to do what you ask him to do." Mikan said.
"Then how about the two of us then Mikan?"
"Huh? Why me?"
"Well, I've never really felt comfortable bathing by myself. I've always had lots of maids with me whenever I did, so..." Lala explained as she led Mikan out of the room with her.
'Well that explains a lot...'
The next day... In Earth's orbit...
"Commander Zastin! We've identified an unknown spaceship entering Earth's atmosphere!"
Zastin stood command inside his space vessel with a serious look on his face.
"Estimated time of arrival to Sainan?"
"Half an hour!"
"They've already arrive huh? Goku-dono, I wish you luck." Zastin muttered as he watched the Earth.
'Huh? What's this feeling...?'
"Oi, Goku! Heads up!"
Saruyama's voice had cut off his thoughts as he remembered what he was doing. The boys were having a soccer match with Goku being the A Team's ace.
He saw the ball being sent towards him by Saruyama.
Jumping into the air, he spun around...
*KICK*
...And sent the ball flying towards the net, the goal keeper missing the chance to block it by mere inches.
Goku's team cried out in victory and gathered around the young fighter and praised him for his skill. Being a martial artist had its benefits, the most obvious being physical capability itself which is useful activities such as this.
As the two teams began their break, Goku looked around the field.
'Huh... I could've sworn I felt an evil presence...'
He looked towards the girls side where the group were having the 100-meter dash.
It was now Lala's turn, and Goku could already guess the result of her doing it.
"Three... Two... One... Go!"
*WHOOSH*
Lala dashed so quickly that by the time anyone finished blinking she had already stopped at the end.
"The hundred meter dash... in 10.9 seconds...!" The coach muttered in amazement.
"Deviluke-san is some sort of superwoman isn't she?"
"I guess that makes sense, seeing as how she's dating Son-kun after all."
"Aw, that really makes me jealous!"
Off to the side, Lala herself smiled at her achievement.
"Lala-sama, I know I said this before, but please try to consider and understand human limitations. Blending in important after all." Peke said.
"But what about Goku? I've seen him do the same things."
"I don't think it's really fair to compare normal humans to Goku-dono." Peke replied.
As Lala conversed with Peke, the girls were still figuring out how Lala performed so well.
"Hey Haruna, what do you think?" Risa, a girl with sandy blonde hair, and one of Haruna's friends asked the bluenette. "Haruna?"
The blue-haired girl did not hear her friends calls for her, the young teen preoccupied by her thoughts as she looked out towards the field, looking directly at a certain spiky haired boy.
"Yo Haruna-chi! Your boobs are small and cute as usual~!"
"Hyaa!"
"You've been zoning out a lot lately haven't you?" Mio, a glasses wearing girl said. "You're in love aren't you~?"
"Wha...?!"
"Ahaha! We thought so!" Risa and Mio laughed together.
"So, who's the lucky guy?" The former asked.
"Is it Sasuga-sensei?" The latter questioned.
"No, it's..."
"Sairenji-kun."
Before the trio stood Sasuga-sensei, the teacher in charge of the tennis club which Haruna belonged to. He had quite the handsome appearance.
"May I have a minute with you?"
"Eh?"
"Goku! Let's eat lunch together~!"
"Alright, alright, wait up."
Off to the side, many of the guys, including Saruyama, glared at Goku in jealousy as the young man began eating with Lala.
"Damn that Goku, getting to eat lunch with Lala-chan...!"
"Even though he said he didn't like her that way... she certainly does!"
"And what the hell is up with that lovey-dovey atmosphere!?"
At that, Goku blinked. He then realized that the two of them really did look like a couple at this point with how casual they were in regards to each other. Especially so when the pinkette tried feeding him more than one time.
'Damn it! How did I not notice this!? If Haruna sees us like this, then...!'
Goku looked towards the spot where Haruna usually sat during lunch only to find her not there.
'Wait, what?'
That was strange. After P.E., Haruna was usually the first to head back to the classroom. Not seeing her there lead to the conclusion that she must've been called by one of the teachers seeing as how she was the class rep.
"Hey, where's Haruna?" He overheard one of the girl's ask.
"I think I saw her heading to the supply room together with Sasuga-sensei."
Goku's ears perked up, an unpleasant feeling running through his gut.
'Sasuga... he's that pretty boy tennis coach isn't he? Now that I think about it, Haruna's in the tennis club herself. It couldn't be...?!'
Goku quickly stood up, surprising Lala beside him.
"Eh? Goku?"
"Sorry Lala, I've got to check on something!"
Ignoring the girl's calls for him, he quickly headed outside the classroom and walked about the school hallways.
'No, Haruna's not that type of girl. Still though, the student-teacher romance genre has been popular lately... Mikan reads stuff like that most of the time.'
Please note that such things happened years ago and the books that Mikan reads revolves around the forbidden relationship between a brother and his little s-.
"Alright that's enough!" Mikan interrupted as she scribbled out the words that appeared on the text and erased some portions of it.
On with the story...
*RING*
"Hmm?"
Goku took out his cell phone and saw a familiar number on its screen.
'Haruna!'
"Hello, Haruna-chan?" He said, awaiting for her reply.
"Is this Son Goku Jr.?"
Goku quickly narrowed his eyes, his fists clenching at the tone smug tone of the one who replied.
"Where's Haruna?"
"My, my, straight to business eh?" The voice laughed as Goku began searching the area for Haruna's aura signature.
'Found it!'
"Just say what you want and make it quick." The young fighter began making his way outside.
"Harsh. But I think you'd be better off doing what I say unless you want something to happen to your friend." The voice replied.
"Yeah, like you're the first one to ever threaten me this way." Goku said, remembering the times when bullies would try to harm him and his friends to no avail.
"Alright have it your way. I want to discuss the matter regarding the Princess of Deviluke."
"Let me guess, your one of the suitors aren't you?"
"That's right. And I've come here to take what's rightfully mine."
"Yeah well back off. Lala's made her opinion on the matter clear." Goku said as he arrived outside on the field. He then looked towards the supply room on the far end.
'It was Sasuga then...?'
"You have no idea what you're getting yourself into boy. You're dealing with things far beyond your understanding."
"And I don't give a damn. I've already promised to myself I'd help Lala out no matter what. I'm not going back on that promise." He firmly replied.
Goku stood by the entrance and readied himself.
"I'm telling you boy, if you don't comply with my wishes, something terrible is going to happen to you friend!" The voice replied with a growl.
*BAM*
The door came down with a thud, surprising the man inside the room.
"What...!?"
"And I'm telling you to back off while you still have the chance!"
Goku glared at Sasuga, who was in shock at being discovered so quickly. Haruna was being dangled by a bunch of cables and was unconscious.
"But when did you...!?"
"That's for me to know and for you to never find out." Goku replied as he stepped forward.
*SLASH*
Goku widened his eyes as he saw Sasuga transform his body into something more monstrous. The man then slashed away at Haruna, cutting away her clothes.
"Don't make a move! Anymore and your friend gets hurt!"
Goku did as he was told, his glare never flinching away from Sasuga.
"That your true form I take it?"
'He must've been the presence I felt earlier...'
"Impressive is it not? It's called mimicry which allows me to take on the form of any being I wish. The form you saw just now was borrowed from that girls teacher." He explained.
"So basically you're a glorified chameleon?"
"What!?" The impostor demanded. "What did you say you bastard!?"
"I said you're a glorified chameleon. Don't tell me your deaf too?"
The impostor glared at him viciously if one could understand his expressions. He then smirked, something Goku could understand from his mouth movements.
"Talk all you wish. I still have your friend to use against you!"
The two stared off at each other quietly, Goku took the opportunity to get a read on the alien's power level while he had the chance.
'Wait, what...? This guy's pretty weak! He's been bluffing me the entire time!?'
He was somewhat disappointed by this. He had come here expecting a fight, but here he was talking trash with an impostor who was threatening him while having the power level even weaker than the average human!
Before anything else, someone came into the room and Goku's head felt something soft being pressed against it.
"Goku! I found you~!"
Lala Satalin Deviluke entered the supply room as her usual cheery self, latching onto the young man's head like it was the most normal thing to do.
'Wow, this girl walks into the room and the tension completely disappears.' He thought dryly as he also took note of the alien impostor's expression which resembled that of complete surprise.
It was at that moment that Lala noticed the other ones inside the room.
"Ghi Bree?" Was that the alien's name? "And is that... Haruna!?"
"Ghi Bree? What do you think you're doing to Haruna!?" Lala pointed a finger at him.
"Lala, you are mine."
"Bleh!" She stuck her tongue out at him. "No way! I've already told you I hate and that I wouldn't marry the likes of you!"
At that, Ghi Bree began twitching, a maniacal grin appearing on his face as his body once again transformed, this time, into something more muscular.
"Then if you don't listen to me then everyone's going to experience the hell of my true form! You wouldn't want that would you!?"
Goku sighed, he was already tired of the situation. When Ghi Bree transformed, his power level did not change at all, and that told him his abilities were purely mimicking others appearance and not their strengths.
*CRACKLE*
"!?"
A blazing white aura appeared around Goku, shocking both Lala and Ghi Bree in the room. The ground itself began shaking, enough so that the entire school felt it.
"Lala-sama! I'm detecting high levels of energy coming from Goku-dono! Even more than the energy attack that he performed on the night you two met!" Peke spoke up.
"Eh!?"
"You know what? I'm getting really tired of your games ugly." He said as he took a step forward.
"W-What are you doing...!? Did you not hear me!? I told you I-!"
"Then show me," Goku replied. "It wouldn't be the first time I went up against monsters."
"A-Are you kidding me? I-I'm a hundred times stronger than any earthling you know! You wouldn't stand a chance against me!"
"I don't care. You've taken my classmate hostage, and you're trying to force Lala into becoming your wife. Even if you were the strongest being in the universe, I'd still fight you. Why? Because you've threatened my friends, and that makes you my enemy!"
"Grr... Are you threatening me!?"
"Threaten? No. That only applies when I'm asking you to back down. What I'm doing here is fulfilling a promise..." Goku muttered quietly.
"A-A promise...?"
"Yeah... it's a promise. It's just me simply making my intentions clear that after everything you've done here..."
His aura flared more violently, a menacing look on his face as Ghi Bree began cowering in fear.
"I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
"WAAAAAAH! DON'T HURT ME!"
*BAM*
Goku landed a light blow to Ghi Bree's face, one that merely had the strength of an average human's punch.
"If you're going to bluff, make it more convincing. Especially with that weak body of yours."
"Y-Yes... I'm terribly sorry..." Ghi Bree replied with a muffled voice as his body began shrinking.
His body continued to shrink until it eventually was small as a stuffed animal, very much like the ones Mikan had in her room.
"Now, why don't you do yourself a favor and release Haruna before I introduce you to my full powered fists?" Goku smiled at him while cracking his knuckles.
"Y-YES!"
The bindings around Haruna disappeared as Goku caught her before she fell to the ground.
He smiled as he noticed that the girl wasn't hurt at all. He set her down gently and then turned his attention back to the small alien that was on the ground, having fainted from exhaustion.
"So this is Ghi Bree's real form?" Lala wondered aloud.
"It seems that his true form is that of a Balkean Lala-sama. They are a race of creatures who rely on their mimicry abilities to survive on their planet because of their fragile bodies."
"I thought there was something funny about this guy, no wonder he felt so weak." Goku commented as he went over to Ghi Bree and picked him up by the leg.
"What should we do with him anyway? Call Zastin?"
"Hmm? No need. I think I have the solution!"
Lala took out her D-Dial and in a flash of pink light, something that had the appearance of a toilet bowl and a duck's head fused together appeared before her.
"Introducing Slosh-Slosh Warp-Kun!" Lala said as she took Ghi Bree from Goku's hands. "I'll use this to deport him from Earth."
Goku twitched slightly at the sight of Lala casually throwing in the small alien into her weird device. The sound of water flushing confirmed that it work as the device vanished in another flash of light.
'That's really messed up, even more than that octopus thing...'
"Now then, one last thing to take care of..." He looked towards Haruna's prone form.
A blush grew on his face, he did his best to remain composed as he saw Haruna's cleavage from her ripped shirt. Her smooth white skin burning its image into his mind.
"Lala, do you have anything that, you know, can fix this?"
"You may leave that to me Goku-dono. Lala-sama created a function in me that allows me to repair clothes in a matter of seconds."
"Good, then do you think you can take her to the infirmary for me? Just tell the nurse you found her collapsed from Anemia or something."
"Okay... but aren't you coming along? You were the one who saved her after all."
"Sorry, but I have to take care of something first. Besides, I didn't really do anything much. It's probably my fault she got involved in the first place..."
'I was lucky. If that alien wasn't a lying impostor, then Haruna could've seriously been hurt. I need a way to get to people faster... before anything could happen to them at least...'
As Goku left and Peke began repairing the damage done to Haruna's clothes, Lala was left to ponder on the young man's words.
She then thought back to when Ghi Bree threatened him.
"Even if you were the strongest being in the universe, I'd still fight you. Why? Because you've threatened my friends, and that makes you my enemy!"
"That's not true. I think you're really is a great person..."
"Ugh..."
Haruna slowly opened her eyes, her mind slightly fuzzy.
When she came to, she realized that she was inside the infirmary.
"Haruna, you're awake!"
"Lala-san? What happened?" Haruna asked as she sat up.
"You collapsed near the supply room, they said it was anaemia."
"It was...?" She held a hand over her chest, unsure of what it was that she felt.
She vaguely remembered being called by Sasuga-sensei, but everything after that was a blank.
"Either way..." Lala hugged Haruna closely.
"Wha... Lala-san?"
"I'm really glad you're safe! You had me worried for a minute!"
"Uh... thank you for worrying about me." Haruna replied. "Were you the one who found me?"
"Nope. The one who saved you was none other than Goku!"
Haruna was surprised at that, her eyes widening slightly as a light blush formed on her face.
'Goku did...?'
"So... you really want to learn it?"
Both Goku and his grandmother Pan sat inside the living room of the Son house.
The latter was surprised when the former came home early and cut classes to have a talk with her.
"Yes, it would help me out a lot if I knew it."
Pan looked at her grandson somewhat suspiciously. She knew from both him and the girl known as Lala who had been staying with them that the latter was an alien princess. And that Lala had numerous people who sought her hand in marriage. It wouldn't be a surprise to say that people would target her grandson for earning Lala's favor and becoming her official fiancée.
Still, in all her years of living, she never imagined that her grandchild would become engaged at such a young age, and to the princess of the galaxy's most powerful ruler even!
Now that she thought about it, her grandmother Chi-Chi was herself a former princess before marrying her grandfather Goku.
Also, with everything that's happened in her life, she also wasn't that surprised by the existence of such things. Her family from her father's side being descended from aliens themselves.
"Not that I'm worried or anything... but did something happen at school?"
"You could say that." Goku replied, somewhat troubled. "Let's just say that a friend of mine could've gotten hurt if I wasn't there fast enough."
"I see." Pan nodded, sensing his feelings. She knew her grandson well enough to know how he was feeling at the moment. What happened at school must've made him realize something.
"Alright then Goku Jr., I'll teach you the Instant Transmission technique." She said, smiling at him. It was rare for Goku to wish to learn a new technique these days. Perhaps this fiancée business would do some good and help increase his strength and desire as a fighter.
"But a little warning though, learning this technique takes time."
"I'm alright with that! Thanks grandma, you're the best!" Goku stood and bowed in gratitude.
With this technique, he'd be able to get to anywhere in an instant.
This way, he'd be able to protect the people he cared about more easily.
Zastin relaxed inside his spaceships bath area, the young commander singing a tune as he did so.
"Hmm?"
Bubbles began forming at the center of the large bath.
*SPLASH*
A small alien burst forth from the water, its small body landing right on top of Zastin's face.
"H-Hello..." Ghi Bree muttered, having been transported into the bath by Lala's invention.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?"
END
Author's Notes:
Yeah, so Goku Jr. becomes angry when someone messes with his friends, who knew? He's also something of a mischievous guy, purposely egging on Motemitsu to take the bet because Goku knew that he would win. He got that from hanging out with the likes of Vegeta and Puck for a few years.
And know he's training to learn the Instant Transmission Technique from his grandmother Pan, who in this universe, was taught by Goku Sr. on how to perform the technique. That said, the technique will take a while to master and even after that, Goku will have to get used to the technique for a while before he can travel long distances.
Also, thank you for the reviews! Vegeta Jr. will appear again next chapter but he won't be fighting Goku since I've already explained that his role be limited until I've properly introduced the other cast members. He'll also have an OC little sister who's around Mikan's age and is also a martial artist. Goku himself has a two cousins with Saiyan blood who will appear later as fighters and part of the main cast.
Signing off!
