Chapter 4: Still at the Airport with Legends and Later a taste of the Third Degree from Grandma

Italics mean spoken in Japanese

Noblesse – M-21

Upon hearing someone speak towards our little group my guard went up. I turned my head swiftly towards the person who had spoken only to receive a shock to my system. Standing not too far off from us was a boy who looked like me.

Of course he was younger and there were slight minuscule details that were different. For example no scar on the face, his hair and eyes were also a slightly darker green then mine. But he truly creepily looked very similar to me. There is a saying in the world that there are 3 people who look exactly the same. I wonder maybe this is similar.

Togainu no chi – Akira – few minutes prior

After I was done with the bathroom I headed towards the exit and hopefully to meet back up with Tsubame and my adopted father….

It still felt weird to call Motomi that. After all I had never truly had a father or even a figure to fill the role and then I meet Motomi. We went through so much together and then he was willing to stick with me in the end to take care of me so that those people couldn't get a hold of me…But that was a different story for a different time.

Getting out of my train of thoughts with a shake of my head I looked around outside the exit. Standing in front of a nice sleek black car was Tsubame and Motomi with two others. Obviously the one Tsubame was hugging was her grandson but who was the guy leaning against the car that Motomi was talking to. I couldn't see because Motomi was standing in my line of sight. I began to head over.

As I approached I heard Tsubame state,

"You belittle yourself way to much sir!"

Which I then cut in with,

"Oh have I already missed introduction…"

I went silent when I finally got a clear view of the person leaning on the car. They looked like me. Yeah they were a bit older with paler green eyes and hair as well as a scar on his face but it was an older version of my face looking at me. He seemed to be sizing me up just like I was doing the same to him.

Motomi was grinning and Tsubame had one of her hidden smiles on. The boy who was Tsubame's grandson with red hair was whipping his head back and forth so fast it was a blur he was obviously confused. He then asked in Korean,

"Are you guys related or something?"

Then turning to the other person he asked,

"Is this why you know how to speak Japanese? Cause your actually Japanese, Ajussi? That's so cool that grandma brought your relative along. Hi I'm Shinwoo."

He stated it all without stopping to breathe or stop looking at us both and then he extended his hand for me to shake obviously meaning the last part for me.

I nodded my head at him but did not take his hand to shake.

"I'm Akira. Motomi…" I made a head motion towards him. "Is my adopted dad. As you can see he has choppy Korean skills at his best." Motomi looked sheepish as he rubbed his neck.

"I came along as an aid for translation but apparently you already thought a head and got a friend to do it for you."

Shinwoo looked at me confused and then I realized why. But before I could state something the person who looked like me spoke up.

"Shinwoo," the boys head whipped around. "I'm not related to that person if that's what you're confused about. I don't have any relatives." The person stated as he inclined his head downwards to look at the boy.

"How can that be you guys look so much alike?" Shinwoo stated as he whipped his head around to look at me.

I lend in and stated to him,

"If you're not satisfied with that we can always go with the fact that one of us is going to die."

Shinwoo's eyes went wide as they could be and Motomi slapped his hand to his face.

"WHAT do you mean?" Shinwoo yelped.

Before I could answer the other person did it for me,

"In Japanese legends if you meet an identical person to yourself one of you will either die or both will suffer bad luck or so on goes the stories."

Shinwoo's eyes were still wide. The person stopped leaning against the car to come over and pat Shinwoo on the shoulder.

"Let's stick with the less lethal story which is believed that at least 3 people in the world share the same face shall we."

Shinwoo nodded his head.

Normal POV

Now that everyone was there. They put their luggage in the back of the car and then piled into the car. M-21 was driving the car. Shinwoo sat in the other front seat and the other three sat in the back. Akira sat behind Shinwoo, Tsubame sat in the middle, and Motomi sat behind M-21.

Tsubame

It was quite interesting watching the interactions of the young ones at the airport but it was time to get down to some business. After all I tended to be a curious women and I always got my satisfaction from receiving my reward from being as such.

"So Ajussi, how do you know my dear grandson?"

He glanced at me in the mirror.

"I know him through my work and boss."

"Your work and boss?"

"Yes I work at Shinwoo's school as part of the special security force that the principal set up."

I paused to think through what he said to me.

"Is it normal to be friends with children at your job at the school? After all not many members of a school staff can say they are on friend terms with the children at the school."

Akira was pretending disinterest and Motomi seemed to be trying to figure out what I was trying to do.

"Hmm that can be the case but you might want to ask your grandson about that."

"What do you mean please explain."

"Because I know the principle priory to working at the school I am living at his house because of this I met Shinwoo and his friends because they apparently are on good terms with the principle."

"What type of good terms?"

"Hm…good enough terms to show up at the principles house almost every night to play with friends and hang out…"

Hmm. If what he is saying is true then I will have to have a discussion with Shinwoo and talk to the principle to find out more. But oh well Shinwoo seems to rely on this man who does not mean harm. Actually this man seems to genuinely be shocked when people rely on him so it's obvious he is not doing this as his job but actually as Shinwoo's friend.

Normal POV

The car ride was silent the rest of the way to Shinwoo's house. But Shinwoo did feel a shiver go down his back at the end of the conversation that M-21 was having with his grandma.

Ajussi- a term for older males in their 20s to 40s. They usually prefer to be called hyung.

Naïve: In an earlier not I said that the ages of the people involved well I'm changing Akira to be around 17 the same age as Rin. Also I need input before doing the next chapter on if I should have this taken place at the present point in the manga or before we go into the Lord arc. So please review and tell me.
