Chapter 4: Troublesome Days

That Saturday...

"Uwah~! So this is what Earth's cities look like?"

"Oi, Lala, watch what you say."

The trio of Goku, Lala, and Mikan, walked throughout the business district of Sainan City.

The young fighter had promised to show Lala around the city two days ago, and Mikan decided to tag along with the two to help Goku out should the pinkette get herself into trouble.

Goku took note of the stares they were getting from passersby, and decided to do something about it.

"Come over here!"

Goku dragged Lala with him and stopped at a nearby alleyway.

"Before we do anything, can you do something about your outfit first?"

Lala went into town with them wearing the same outfit Peke had been providing for her since she first arrived on the planet. He remembered that she only had one outfit that wasn't Peke herself, and that was the school uniform she had gotten under his instructions. It was currently being cleaned at the Son home.

"Eh~?, I can't be dress mode?" The pinkette complained. She happened to like her outfit very much.

"Goku does have a point. You stand out too much in that." Mikan noted. "If you really want to go sightseeing here on Earth, then you'll have to blend in."

Lala nodded at that, and Goku added.

"Peke can transform into any outfit right?" He asked. "Why don't you try imitating someone in the crowd?"

"Alright then." Lala replied as she looked at the crowd of people. "How about that one? Peke?"

"Right away Lala-sama!"

In a flash of pink light, Lala's outfit turned from a form-fitting white dress, to a male business casual suit with a pair of matching glasses.

"That's a guy's outfit." Goku blankly stated. "Try out another one."

Doing as she was asked, Lala's outfit shifted once more.

This time, the girl was now wearing the uniform of a female police officer.

"Impersonating an officer is a crime! Next."

Then, Peke shifted into a...

"A bunny girl!? Nice-WAIT! Where the heck did you see someone wearing that!?"

"Lala-san really does have nice figure. She fills out that outfit like it was made for her, wouldn't you agree Goku?" Mikan smiled slyly at her older brother.

"Ack!" He briefly flinched at her question. He mentally agreed to his sister's words, Lala indeed had a very attractive body.

"Never mind... next!"

"How about this then~?"

Lala's outfit once again shifted. This time, her clothes turned into a black dress covered over by a lime coloured blouse.

Mikan clapped in approval. Lala now looked as normal as any girl her age in human standards.

Goku on the other hand was taken aback by how cute Lala was in it, a light blush forming on his cheeks.

"What do you think Goku?" Lala asked, smiling.

"I guess that works..." He avoided looking her in the eye as he scratched the back of his head.

"Alright then, here we go~!"

At that, Lala began dragging Goku with her throughout the city. Mikan followed suit, musing to herself on whether or not she should leave and stay at home with their Grandmother and let the two lovebirds have the day to themselves.

The day went on pretty much like any other day when a group of kids would go out having fun with each other. Lala thoroughly enjoyed the sights that she was being introduced to by the siblings.

"What's this machine?"

Lala stopped in her tracks and the two looked to see what caught her attention. It was none other than a crane game.

"You put coins in the machine here, then you use the stick to control the crane to get stuffed toys." Mikan explained.

"That looks pretty cute~!" Lala pointed to a stuffed rabbit that had Frankenstein feel to it with its appearance.

"It looks pretty big though, you might not get it on the first try."

"Here, I'll try." Goku spoke up as he went up to the machine.

A moment later the stuff rabbit was now held firmly in Lala arms, the pinkette wearing the widest smile she's ever had to date.

"Um! Thanks Goku! I'll make this my treasure~!"

Goku nodded at her smile.

'I guess stuff like this isn't bad once in a while.' He mused to himself. Despite worrying about the engagement, he might as well make Lala comfortable and happy here on Earth less her father be angry with him and destroy the planet in a fit of rage.

Although he was worried that people he knew might see them and misunderstand the situation as a date between the two, Mikan's presence here would change that somewhat into the three of them having fun with each other.

'Still... I'm worried what would happen if Haruna saw us today. What would she think?'

"Congratulations!"

'Gah! Anything but that!'

The trio continued to move throughout the streets, both Lala and Peke began taking note of Earth technology.

Contrary to what they knew of the planet, Earth was relatively advanced for one that was known as a backwater planet throughout the galaxy.

On occasion they walked, she would come across people driving hover cars and such, but they were not flying in the sky and instead floated just above the ground for quicker transportation.

She also took note of the various machines put on display by a local shop. The shop in question having the words "Capsule Corporation" on its sign.

"Hey, Goku, Mikan-chan, what are those?"

"What do you mean?" The former asked as Lala dragged him towards the Capsule Corp shop.

"What are these?" She pointed to a case containing several capsules.

"Ah, those are capsules Lala-san. You can think of them as something similar to that D-Dial of yours. They're made by the Capsule Corporation for people to have an easier time transporting things."

"Like what?"

"Like this." Goku said as he asked the store owner if he could demonstrate how capsules worked to his friend. The owner agreed, and had people clear a space.

Taking one in his hands, Goku pressed the button on it and threw it into the empty space.

Soon enough in a burst of smoke, a refrigerator appeared in its place.

"That's amazing! I never knew Earth was this advanced!" Lala said as she inspected the refrigerator. These capsules were something she didn't think of before. They would become quite handy if she couldn't use her D-Dial in certain situations.

"Indeed. It seems the reports on Earth are somewhat outdated." Peke muttered quietly that only the trio could hear her.

"Well, this is nothing compared to what you can do." Goku replied as he pressed a button on the refrigerators side. It once again burst into smoke and turned into a capsule once more.

Returning it to the owner, Goku bid him farewell as he walked back to the other two.

"Maybe I should get some for myself so I can experiment with it?" Lala thought with a smile on her face.

"Maybe next time. Buying those capsules is expensive, and I left my spending money for those kinds of things back at home." Goku said before widening his eyes.

"Shit, Lala!"

"Eh?"

Lala's outfit was slowly beginning to dissolve, holes began appearing at the edges of the dress.

"I'm sorry Lala-sama, but changing into those different outfits earlier drained my energy quite a bit. I think I can only hold up this form for three more minutes..."

"Say something like that earlier!" Goku remarked as he looked around and found a clothing store.

Picking up both Lala and Mikan in his arms, he quickly made a dash towards it, moving so fast that no one even noticed him do so and kicking up quite a strong wind.

He came to a stop at a booth and shoved Lala inside, he set Mikan down and begin to sigh in relief.

"Sometimes being a super human does have its benefits." His sister remarked.

"At least we're in the okay." Goku said before realizing where he was.

It was a woman's lingerie store.

'Shit! This is not good!' The young fighter could already feel a blush rising to his face.

"Lala-san, try these out." Mikan said as she gave Lala some underwear in the pinkette's size. "I'll go find something for you wear in the mean time."

The younger girl ran off quickly in search of clothing, and Goku sighed in relief that he brought his sister along with him today.

"I'd be in trouble if it weren't for Mikan."

"Goku-kun...?"

"Hmm? ...!" Goku looked and widened his eyes in shock as he saw Haruna standing there just a few feet away from him looking at some underwear.

At the same time, the curtains to the booth opened with a smiling Lala wearing black lingerie.

"Goku! I've tried it on. How do I look? Does it look good on me~?" She took note of the blue-haired girl's presence.

"Huh? It's you Haruna."

"Eh? Lala-san?"

'This is so not my day...' Goku mentally noted as his jaw dropped in shock.

Goku was never more thankful to the gods for giving him a little sister.

Soon after Lala's little introduction, the girl arrived and the trio became a quartet as Haruna joined them on their little walk through the city at the Pinkette's request.

They were now heading towards the Aquarium as they were able to get four tickets to the place for free after buying Lala's new clothes.

'Damn it, after seeing something like that... I wouldn't be surprised if Haruna thought that me and Lala were dating.' He thought. 'I wonder what she really thinks though...?'

It would only be a while later before they would arrive at the Aquarium.

"Uwah! How pretty!" Lala looked more energetic than she was earlier. "There are so many fish!"

"It is an aquarium after all." Goku mused as the girl went off the explore.

"Fufu... Lala-san is like a child."

"True." He smiled as Mikan decided to tail after Lala to make sure she didn't get lost. "Listen, sorry about Lala making you come with us."

"It's no problem. I like places like this, it reminds me of that one time during our field trip to a dolphin performance that you fell into one of the pools trying to get a little girl's charm bracelet back."

"Yeah... I was hoping you'd forgotten that." Goku muttered in embarrassment.

At that time, a dolphin had managed to snag away a little girl's charm bracelet when she gotten too close to the pool. Goku tried to get it back, but fell in when the dolphin tricked him. At that, the young man wrestled with the dolphin before it gave up and returned the bracelet to him, and he later returned it to the little girl.

"I couldn't really forget it. It reminds of me of how kind a person you are."

"What?"

"Never mind." Her thoughts then delved towards the thought of Lala. "I have a question for you, Goku-kun."

"Just Goku. Adding -Kun to my name makes it awkward for me to hear."

"Alright then... am I interrupting you and Lala-san?"

"Wait, what? No, no, no!" Goku denied with his arms crossed in an x-pattern. "Lala wanted to take a walk around the city because she wasn't all that used to it yet and was curious. I came along so she wouldn't get herself into trouble and Mikan tagged along."

"Also, what happened earlier was because Lala forgot to pack some clothes when she came here and we decided to buy some for her." He added. "I am, in no means, dating her or a pervert!"

"Ehehehe~!" She giggled slightly. "I already know that. Goku isn't someone like that."

He sighed in relief, a huge burden being lifted of his shoulders.

"Still, that's good to hear." Haruna said with a smile on her face, a burden on her heart disappearing.

Goku felt a little awkward as he saw her smile, a blush creeping up to his face at how cute Haruna looked in her casual clothes.

'It's been a while since I've seen her like this. Never thought I'd see it so soon.'

His thoughts then went back to the events of last Friday, the day when Ghi Bree had taken her hostage and slashed away at her clothes...

His face instantly went red at that.

'Damn it, I've remembered something I shouldn't have!' He scratched his head furiously trying to forget.

"L-Let's go find Lala and Mikan, they can't have gotten too far." Goku tried changing the subject, but was stopped when he felt something tugging at his sleeve.

Haruna stood there with a troubled expression on her face, it was her hand that was holding on to him.

"Uh... Haruna-chan?" He was taken aback by how she looked.

"Eh? Ah! I'm sorry!" She took a step back. "I mean... there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about."

"What about?"

"The other day..." Haruna began, and Goku began realizing what she was referring to. "After I collapsed from anaemia. Lala-san told me that it was you who found me, right?"

"Ah, yeah... that's right." He nodded, realizing that Lala must've told her about it after she woke up.

"In any case, thank you." She smiled at him graciously.

He was blushed at how the girl looked at him, he gulped slightly as he began thinking back to the time he tried confessing to her, which failed miserably due to Lala's appearance. However, since the girl went off with Mikan, this left the two of them alone.

'It's now or never...!'

"Haruna-chan, I-"

*BAM*

Something collided with the young fighter's head, sending him to the floor.

"Ow... that actually hurt." Goku said as he held his head. "Who did that!?"

He was taken aback by the sight of dozens of penguins flying in the air, a feat that should've been quite impossible for the flightless birds.

"Lala! Just what did you do!?" He yelled, already knowing who caused the phenomena. The pinkette ran up towards him with a smile on her face.

"Those penguins moved around so slow. So, I gave them this!" She showed him a round pill that had a mischievous face pictured on it.

"This a secret remedy used by Devilukean soldiers during combat, the Berserker Deluxe~!"

"Penguins are supposed to be slow! And don't you read the signs that say don't feed the animals!?" Goku retorted. "Gaargh! No helping it, I might as well help round them up!"

Said penguins were now running amok inside the aquarium pecking at anything in their sight.

"I'll help too~!" Lala used her D-Dial to summon another one of her inventions.

"Wait, is that the same Octopus from before!? Don't use that in here!"

Unknown to the group, they were being observed by a robotic looking fly. But in actuality, it was a spaceship of a very miniscule alien species.

"Heh, so this is the famed Son Goku?"

Inside the fly, someone was observing the events unfold and watching the young fighter with great interest.

"I heard he was good, taking down the Devilukean Commander Zastin with just a few hits." He drank some of the wine in his hand.

"Still, once I'm on his case..."

The man began laughing to himself, a very stereotypical villain like thing to do.

Later that afternoon...

"He's late..."

Vegeta Jr. stood inside the gravity chamber of the Capsule Corporation building where he and his rivals would train at times.

"Does this mean he's forfeiting the match? I'll kick his ass..." He muttered to himself in annoyance.

Vegeta already reminded Goku about their rematch the other day. When the young fighter was ready, he would always come to Capsule Corp where the former had lived so that they can fight inside the gravity chamber since it was one of the few places they could fight seriously without much collateral damage.

He never liked wins by forfeit, only through fair fights that he felt any sense of victory.

"Nii-san! Where are you? Oh, here you are."

Someone called out to him, he turned around and saw that someone had entered the gravity chamber and casually walked in.

It was a young girl, around Mikan's age in appearance perhaps but was somewhat older due to being 14 years old. She had blue hair that was spiked downwards somewhat and matching blue eyes.

"Bloom." He acknowledged her presence.

The girl in question was Bloom Leigh, Vegeta's younger sister and a prodigious mechanic and engineer despite her young age.

"Goku-san stood you up again?"

"I'm going to kick his ass when I see him. Bastard must've forgot about our rematch again." He replied as he smacked a palm and fist together.

"Don't be too rough on him, he is going to be your future brother-in-law after all~!"

...

Vegeta paused at his younger sister's words. Was it said that Bloom was the only sibling he had and daughter of their mother?

The mere thought of her words becoming a reality... Rivals and friends they may be, but that was not happening on his watch!

"I refuse such a pairing! He so much as lay a finger on you and I'll will beat him to the ground!"

"Ahahaha!" His sister laughed and smiled at him. "Nii-san is overprotective, I feel so loved!"

"Grr..." Vegeta muttered slightly in annoyance, having realized that his sister was only messing with him.

She then closed and secured the door to the room, and pressed a button, changing the gravity inside to over 150 times the Earth's gravity.

"In any case, should I take Goku-san's place and be your sparring partner?"

Unlike Goku's sister Mikan, Bloom was a fully trained martial artist, and was already at the level where she could give both her brother and his rival a run for their money if they didn't take her seriously at first.

"Alright, but if you complain about a broken nail or your hair being ruined, I'm done."

The clashed, the insinuating vibrations from their fight could be felt throughout the building.

The next day...

*SNEEZE*

"Are you alright Goku?"

"I'm fine. Though I have a feeling that I'm forgetting something." Goku replied to Lala as he went towards the front door entrance and began putting on his shoes.

"Where are you going anyway?" The girl asked.

"To help my dad with his work, he's short on manpower, so he asked me if I could help."

At that, the young girl looked curious. Ever since her stay here, it was only Goku, Mikan, their grandmother Pan, and herself. Goku mentioned that their parents would often be busy because of work, so they lived apart from each other.

"What does your dad do?"

"Well, he's a..."

"Sensei! I'm done with the background!"

"All right! Well done!"

Son Saiba, the father of Goku and Mikan, great-grandson of Pan, drew at an incredible speed that few humans could match.

Unlike his ancestors, great-grandmother, and son, Saiba took on the artistic approach to life. An approach that many would know as being a Mangaka.

That said, like the successful fighters the members of his family were, Saiba was one of the best in the business, his name being a legend towards many Otaku throughout the world. His best selling manga being a series known as Dragon Sword, a story where a group of teenagers band together to find the seven legendary dragon swords that would help them save the world from a Demon known as Gaga.

*RING*

Quickly making his way towards the door, Saiba knew it was his son who had arrived.

*SLAM*

"Goku! About time you got here!" He slammed the door open. "Get in quick! We don't-!"

He widened his eyes when he noticed an incredibly beautiful teenage girl standing right next to his son, the young man having a neutral look on his face.

"Nice to meet you, Goku's dad!"

Goku could only sigh as his father froze, already expecting the reaction.

"Hmm? This is what you look like? You and Goku do resemble each other a little..." She tilted her head in curiosity.

"Oi, Goku, what's going on?" His father asked.

"About that... She said she wanted to come along, and I said no, but she wouldn't..."

"Idiot! If you're going to bring your girlfriend, then say so in the first place~!" He laughed and patted his son on the back.

"Yosh! I'm Goku's dad, nice to meet you!"

The two headed inside as Saiba directed them to.

"Haha! So you're Lala-chan? Mikan's told me all about you." He said. "So, an alien princess becoming engaged to my idiot son? That's a romance-comedy if there ever was one!"

'Wow, dad's more accepting of this than I thought. Scratch that, he's more than accepting. He'd probably write a new manga using me and Lala as an idea.'

"It's a dirty work-space, but go ahead and look around as much as you want." Saiba said as they entered his studio.

There, numerous pieces of paper were scattered about, most of which were already crumpled up or torn apart. Pencils were also laying about, some of which were broken, and also some eraser dust. Saiba's assistants were busy drawing upon their desks to notice them.

"Wow, what a dirty place!"

"Lala-sama, that's being impolite." Peke spoke up.

As the girl looked around, Saiba spoke with his son with a grin on his face.

"She's a cute girl Goku, I envy you right now."

"What?"

"Don't pretend to be so innocent, I know from Mikan that the two of you are sleeping with each other every night." A perverted smile appeared on his face.

"Whaaat!?" He yelled. He would have a word with his little sister after he and Lala would go home.

"Man, it must be nice to be young~!" His father laughed.

"It's not like that! Lala has her own room to sleep in! She just sneaks into my bed whenever I'm asleep!"

"Ahahaha! My son is living the good life!" Saiba laughed before a stoic expression appeared on his face and laid a hand on Goku's shoulder.

"Be sure you be a man and take responsibility okay?"

"Shut up!"

Unknown to the father-son duo and Lala, when the former slammed the door open, he also squashed something very small.

That something was the same fly that had spied upon Goku and the others from earlier. The pilot of which was now laying in the heap of metal and signalling for help from his home planet.

That alien was known as Pryuma, and he was one of Lala's suitors. He was retired from the competition without anyone knowing about it.

The day afterwards was now a Monday.

After working with his father to help finish his manga, most of Saiba's assistants quit their jobs much to the former's disbelief.

Goku could only sigh as it was Lala's fault for that happening as the alien princess summoned one of her inventions to increase the drawing speed of the assistants so they could reach the deadline on time.

Because of that, Lala had Zastin and his two men to fill in for them as a way to make up for their loss. Goku noted that the trio were actually doing quite well for beginners.

The duo walked to school together as always since she began staying here. Goku could not help but feel that today was going to be somewhat normal as normal things could get now that Lala was around.

"How hot! Why is it so hot?" Lala complained as she pulled on her collar.

"That's because it's summer. It gets really hot during this time of the year, especially in places like Sainan." Goku mentioned.

"It's so hot, maybe I should just walk naked?"

"No! Definitely no!"

"Ahahaha~!" Lala giggled as she held the boy by the arm. "Did you know Goku? Your flustered face looks so cute!"

"Grr..." He growled to himself. Being made fool out of, especially by this girl was quite annoying.

"It's so hot, but since the girls have swimming classes today, I'll be fine."

"Are you going to wear Peke as a swimsuit? Will that even be alright?"

"Of course, I'm 100% water proof."

"That's good to hear, but make sure you keep a spare swimsuit with you just in case."

The two continued walking with each other, their surroundings quite tranquil as tranquil could be for a large city such as Sainan.

"! Lala-sama! I'm detecting a high-energy source heading right towards us!" Peke suddenly yelled.

"Eh?"

"SO THIS IS WHERE YOU WERE!"

*SMASH*

Goku picked Lala up in his arms and jumped back from their positions where something crashed into the pavement, causing a crater to form.

The one who stood in the crater was none other than Vegeta, an angry look on his face. Though he always looked somewhat angry even when smiling. Was it a family trait?

"Vegeta!? What was that for!?" He demanded as he set Lala down.

"You bastard! You really did forget, didn't you!?"

Goku was about to reply when he froze and began to remember their talk the other day, specifically about their rematch that he had promised to come to during the weekend but forgot due to personal reasons such as Lala and his father.

"Ah, I did. Sorry about that."

Vegeta growled annoyed before noticing the pink-haired girl next to Goku who had been looking at the spectacle before her with interest.

"Goku, who's this?" She asked.

"Ah, he's Vegeta. We knew each other since we were kids, you can think of him as my rival in martial arts." He replied as he gestured towards the smaller boy.

"Oi, Goku, who's the girl?" Vegeta asked.

"Hi there~! I'm Lala! I'm staying at Goku's home right now~!" The alien princess cheerfully introduced herself to the boy's rival.

Vegeta was taken aback by this. Was this why Goku couldn't appear the other day? He also noticed the tail that was swinging about from behind the girl, and also the strange energy that was coming from her. Although similar to a human, it was far stronger.

"Oi, what's going on?" He pulled Goku with arm around his neck so they could talk in private. "She's not human, isn't she?"

"I accidentally got myself engaged to an alien princess who was on the run from her family after being forced to go through several marriage interviews. After I helped her out, she says she wants to marry me and now she's staying at my place while I protect her from undesirables."

"The weirdest things always happen to you know that?"

"That's something I tell myself everyday now."

His mind then flashed when he suddenly remembered the conversation he had with his little sister yesterday inside the gravity chamber before their fight.

"Wait, don't tell me that the reason you weren't around the other day was because you were playing hooky with that girl!? Bastard! And you've already seduced my little sister!" He then proceeded to turn his hold on Goku into a headlock.

"Where the heck did that come from!?" Goku yelled as he struggled to break free.

As the two began arguing with each other, Peke looked at the smaller male with interest.

"Goku-dono's rival? No wonder he's powerful then. I wonder how many more earthlings have this kind of power inside of them?" She noted.

Having been installed with the function of detecting energy not too long ago after they arrived on Earth, she had used this same ability to detect the rise in power that came from Goku when Ghi Bree had arrived the other day.

Lala on the other hand was thinking of something else.

'I wonder how he gets his hair to stand up like that?'

That was a question that many who knew the young man and his ancestor asked themselves and never found out the answer.

"Look! Do you think we can settle this some other time? The two of us we'll be late for school at this rate!"

Vegeta grumbled to himself in annoyance, forgetting that fact once again.

"Fine, but if I see you again, you and I will have that rematch!"

"Alright, fine. Whatever you say." Goku waved off as Vegeta left.

"Now then... Hmm?"

He felt something off, a evil feeling lingered throughout the air. He looked around and spotted what he was looking for.

It was a person, he was wearing a hooded tracksuit with a face mask and sunglasses combo. He had a camera in his hands and Goku knew that it was pointed towards Lala.

"Shit! I've been seen!"

Before he could run any further, Goku appeared right in front of him with arms crossed and an angry smile on his face.

"It's been a while hasn't it, baldy-senpai?"

He flinched at that, and all that was needed to confirm that one in front of him was indeed Motemitsu, the ace of the baseball club.

"! How did you...!?" Motemitsu had been covering his face the entire time, how the heck did this guy know who he was!?

"I knew you were a pervert, but this is a new low."

"Wait, I-!"

*BAM*

After dealing with Motemitsu, Goku took his camera and discovered pictures of Lala and several other girls that focused on their chests or bottoms, some of which they were changing and others in their school swimsuits.

When Goku gave the file to the girls in his class, they rallied the entire female population of the school and gave a sound beating to the pervert known as Motemitsu. An act of justice in the young man's opinion.

Motemitsu was later suspended from school for the next two weeks.

"Now that I think about it, why are you packing your stuff in my room?"

"Hmm? I'm preparing for the Seaside Summer School."

About a week later, the first years of Sainan High were going on an 3 day trip for a Seaside Summer School event that happens to all first years.

"I get that, but why are you in my room? You have your own remember?" Goku asked.

He was ignored by the girl as she went over to his closet.

"What the...?"

"Hehe, I'm remodeling it into my room!"

"Huh!? What about your own!?" Goku asked, ignoring the fact that remodeling a small space like a closet would've been physically impossible, but given the girl's track record so far, he wouldn't have been surprised if she did so anyway.

"I want to be as close to you as possible, Goku." The girl replied as she went inside. "Don't peek okay? It's not finished yet."

She closed the sliding door shut, causing the young man to look somewhat tired at her actions.

"Geez, what a troublesome princess she is."

"Don't tell me you planned on bringing all that stuff with you?"

"Uh-huh. Why?"

By the time the girl finished packing, her bag was so full that it was literally ready to burst. Goku could even see some of her inventions stuffed inside it.

"Cut it down a little, we'll only be there for a little while."

"Eh, but~." The girl complained.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

Both looked to see Mikan standing at the door licking a Popsicle.

"Sorry to bother you two, but it looks like your trip might get cancelled."

"Huh?"

"A typhoon? In the middle of summer?" Goku voiced his surprised as he watched the weather man announce the news on TV.

"I know right? They say it might make landfall during the night." Mikan replied.

Goku then made his way over to the sliding frame that led outside to the garden. He saw that sky itself was getting darker as time passed.

"Damn, the weather really is getting bad today. I guess the summer school might get cancelled after all..."

"No! I don't like that at all!" Lala shouted as Goku looked at her.

"Can't be helped, not with this weather." He noted that might be able to do something if he went serious, but that might make him too conspicuous with the authorities.

"Then that means I'll just have to do something about that!"

Goku couldn't help but feel a sense of dread at that, especially given Lala's ability to conjure up strange inventions on the fly.

"Come on Lala, the storms getting worse."

Both Goku and Lala stood on a cliff that overlooked the ocean near Sainan, Lala having flown out of the house taking Goku with her.

"Why won't any of my inventions work?" The young girl sunk to grown in sadness.

She had used every invention in her arsenal against the typhoon, all of which ended in failure as some proved useless, others blown up from overuse, some were blown away by the storm itself.

"Originally, your inventions were made for pranks Lala-sama. So their effect is rather small on a phenomena such as a typhoon." Peke spoke up. "Perhaps you could invent something new that can stand up to it instead?"

"But that would take time, and I don't even have the materials I'd need to do it."

Goku couldn't help but feel bad for her. He had seen how excited Lala was for the Summer School, so seeing her hopes crushed like this was not something he liked seeing.

"Hey, Lala, maybe I could..."

He was going to suggest he use his abilities, but before he could say something, the girl stood up.

"I was looking forward to the summer school... having fun with both Goku and Haruna..."

She then flew off, right towards the typhoon, which in her vision, was laughing maniacally at her.

"Lala-sama! Why are you...!?" Peke questioned.

"Oi, Lala!" Goku flew off after her.

The pinkette came to a stop right in front of it, Goku could only wonder what she was doing as he came close to her.

"I'll definitely go to the Seaside Summer School...! That's why..."

She looked up at the typhoon, an angry look on her face with her eyes having slight tears in them.

"GO AWAY YOU STUPID TYPHOON!"

Lala shouted so loud that air around her and the typhoon itself was blown back by the sheer force of her voice. Goku cringed as he covered his ears, the girl had one powerful shout!

The typhoon had been blown back so hard by Lala's voice, that a few seconds later the sky was already beginning to clear up.

"Alright! I did it!" Lala cheered happily.

'Being the daughter of the galaxy's conqueror is no joke!' Goku thought as he floated beside her and spoke.

"You've got yourself a powerful set of lungs."

"That's because I-Eh!? Goku, you're flying!" The girl began, but looked at him in shock as she saw him beside her.

"Hmm?" Goku blinked at her surprise. "What? Didn't I already tell you?"

"You didn't! Since when can you fly?" Lala asked.

"Since I was a kid."

At that, the two began flying back to the Son house as Goku began explaining to Lala the mechanics behind his ability to fly.

He noted that with the typhoon being blown away in the opposite direction of Sainan, the Summer School would most definitely be continued.

"What did the two of you do?"

Son Pan and her grandson sat inside the living room watching the news, the weather man being quite frantic as he revealed that the typhoon had changed course last night.

"Lala shouted at the typhoon to go away and it did."

Pan blinked at her grandson for a few moments before bursting out laughing slightly to herself, the thought must've been too hilarious for her to take seriously.

"Ah, that reminds me of something my Uncle Goten once told me, about how your Grandpa Goku once shook the entire world to its core by transforming alone."

Goku looked at his grandmother incredulously, the elderly woman having just said something rather outrageous. Rather, she accepted that Lala must've done so as Goku said it, but then explained that his ancestor did something even more crazier and outrageous than that!

'Just what kind of monster was Grandpa Goku...!?'

Author's Notes:

A filler chapter that covers chapters 9-14 of the original manga.

Next up, the Seaside Vacation that Rito and Lala's class went on during the original manga. I'll probably write it as a single chapter to save time, but who knows. I plan on introducing Ren/Run after the next as with the original, and after that I introduce my favorite character: Golden Darkness, or as some prefer: Yami. She'll have a relationship with Goku more similar to the dynamic that Train and Eve had in the manga "Black Cat".

Signing off!
