Fluff! And boys being silly. And Frank Sinatra's I Love You Baby.

If It's Quite Alright

Blaine was making pasta for dinner, waiting for Kurt to come back from work. He had a great day at the coffee shop, and he even got off early, which rarely happened- so he decided to use the extra time to be a little romantic. He went and bought a huge bouquet of roses in every color they had, and decided on finally trying the pasta recipe he saw a few weeks ago online.

He already set up the table with the roses, the good set of silverware, a candle, and a bottle of champagne cooling in a bucket of ice.

The water for the pasta was beginning to boil, and he added a dash of salt to the pot before continuing with the sauce- he chopped the mushrooms while singing to himself, and moved them to the pan to fry with the onions already there.

"You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you…" he hummed, swaying his hips as he ducked to fish for the spices in the cabinet.

"You'd be like heaven to touch…"

He kept humming, smiling to himself as he added the spices to the mushrooms and onions, the sizzling noise of them cooking making a happy background to the song.

"I wanna hold you so much…"

He put in the heavy cream next, stirring slowly to the rhythm of the song.

"At long last love has arrived and I thank god I'm alive…"

Carefully, he spilled the pasta into the boiling pot of water, and then added some milk to the sauce.

"You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you…"

He grabbed the milk carton and drank a few sips. Then he put it away and picked up the spoon again.

"Pardon the way that I stare, there's nothing else to compare…"

Blaine stirred the sauce happily, singing louder.

"The sight of you leaves me weak, there are no words left to speak…"

He picked up some of the sauce with the wooden spoon, blowing on it lightly between the words of the song, cooling it before he tasted.

"But if you feel like I feel please let me know that it's real…"

After tasting carefully, he decided more salt was needed, and added some.

"You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you…" He tapped his foot, whistling.

"I love you baby!" called a voice behind him and he turned around with a squeal, a smile exploding on his face instantly.

"And if it's quite alright," he sang back at Kurt, walking up to him and kissing him excitedly on the mouth.

"I need you baby," Kurt gripped his hips and began swaying, spinning Blaine and dancing with him around the kitchen.

"To warm a lonely night!"

Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt's neck as they moved together seamlessly.

"I love you baby," he sang, looking right into Blaine's eyes.

"Trust in me when I say- mmph," Kurt dipped him back then, kissing him profoundly for a long while, and the only sounds around them were the boiling water in the pot and their quick breathes.

"Hello there," giggled Blaine breathlessly when they broke apart, and Kurt pulled him back up. He nuzzled Kurt's neck, nibbling on the skin gently.

"Hi," he chuckled, hugging Blaine closer. "What's the occasion?"

"Hmm? Oh, the flowers. No occasion, just for you."

"And the fancy dinner?"

"Are you complaining, Hummel?" Blaine teased. "I got off work early, and I wanted to surprise you."

"Well, consider me surprised," Kurt smiled and kissed him again. "Thank you for the flowers and for cooking. It smells delicious, by the way."

He kissed under Kurt's jaw. "You smell delicious."

Kurt giggled. "You're such a sap."

"You love me," said Blaine with a smug smile.

"I do." He slapped Blaine's ass playfully. "Now come on, let's eat, I'm starving."
