So here is the Memily version of 'F is for father' this is taken from the Shikenger episode 21.

'F' is for Father (Memily version)

Kotoha stood by the shopping district of Panorama City. She gave a sinister smile before letting her shuriken drop. When the point hit the ground, Moggers rose up. As she picked up her shuriken she said, "Since we are going to be AWOL for a while, might as well leave the rangers with a present." With that she disappeared leaving the Moggers to cause havoc.

The struck down people and scared them only to stop when they noticed something. The larger group turned and saw the symbol of the Shiba house on the screen. As it moved it showed the rangers, minus Antonio.

"That's far as you go Moggers!" Jayden announced. With that the Moggers attacked. Each ranger took their own group, with Lauren using the Blazing Strike to end the last group.

"Looks like just Moggers this time."

"This just seems way too random. Plus I haven't seen the half-nighlocks." Jayden said, "We should split up and look. Lauren head back to the house. Still can't believe Antonio got sick from spending way too much time at the sea."

"Bond to happen sometime." Mike joked as he and Emily headed in one direction, Mia, Kevin and Jayden in another.

Sanzu River

A hand pulled up a body up to the ship. "Sasamadage is here to do your bidding!" the nighlock cried. Then he saw no one was on the ship. "Hey, where is everyone?" then the Furry Warts all fell from the rafters repeating the word everyone. The nighlock knocked them away and turned back to the opening of the ship, "since I'm burning with energy, I'll make the masters happy by causing havoc." With that, he jumped back into the water, heading to the human world.

Back at the human world

Emily and Mike, back in their civilian forms, walked down path way.

"I don't see anything out of the ordinary." Emily said, "Guess we can go back to the house."

"No!" Mike whined, "it's too hot. Let's take the day off, Em."

"Wha-Mike no. you know how Lauren is about training."

"But it's not going to rain and there is no air conditioning at the Shiba House and I can't stand the heat. It was never this hot back at your family's farm."

"Sorry Mike." Emily teased as she walked off

"Wait! Em, please?" Mike dropped to his knees. Emily turned and couldn't help but smile at her boyfriend's antics

In another part of town, a business man was feeling the heat as he wiped off sweat with a handkerchief. As he walked he didn't see the nighlock come behind him until he was forced on his knees by it. It 'coughed up' an egg and laid it on the man's head. It was red and when it landed on the man's head, a red light washed over the man and a look of evil glinted in his eyes.

"You're now one of us," Sasamadag giggled, "rampage as you please." The man laughed and threw his bag and handkerchief away and walked over to where bikes where parked. He kicked them down, laughing as he did so. "Moggers, give him a hand." The Moggers ran over to help mess up the bikes. One Mogger handed the man one of their swords and they all cried out as the nighlock laughed.

At a café, Mike and Emily enjoyed iced drinks. Mike then remembered an argument that happened earlier.

"Hey doesn't Ji have to go the hospital?" at that moment a waitress came and gave Mike a stake of pancakes.

Emily watched in amusement as he dug in, "Yeah. He said his hip was hurting him. He, Jayden and Lauren had a huge argument about him not being fine. The Kuroko are going to make sure he goes."

"Fight with Jayden and Lauren? That's a rare one."

"It's almost like an argument with a parent and child."

"Mentor is pretty stubborn. If it was my dad, I'd probably fight with him all the time. But I would probably be stronger."

"Are you blaming your weakness as a samurai on your parents?" Emily teased

"Not really. Maybe about half of it."

"Half of them are your parents fault right?" a new voice asked, coming from above Mike.

He turned and saw an older version of himself. He let out a yell which caught Emily's attention.

"That place has some pretty good food." The man continued

"Dad, what are you doing here?" Mike asked

"Wait, you're Mike's father?" Emily asked the man who had his head resting on the divider.

He smiled, "Nice to meet you. Judging by your face, you're the yellow samurai Emily right? You have your mother's eyes."

After Mike's father sat over by Mike, ignoring his son's protests, the waitress brought over a plate of half-eaten pancakes that belonged to the man

"Thanks, sorry for the trouble." He thanked the waitress

"Why'd you sit over here?" Mike asked

"Oh come on, if it wasn't for coincidences like this you wouldn't have seen him."

"You're so kind. Mike you're lucky to have a girl like this." Mike's father said before he started digging into his pancakes.

"Pancakes as usual?"

"What, they're good." Emily noticed that Mike had his pancakes done the same as his father's. He may have not liked it, but he and his father were the same. "It's so empty at home, so I decided to take a walk and found this place."

"What are you, a child?"

Ignoring his son, he asked, "So, tell me how Mike is doing. I know these new enemies are nothing you faced before."

"Well he's doing very well." The three of them didn't see the business man who had been affected earlier.

"Really. Well you did cut school a lot. It's amazing you graduated.

"Go away already!" Mike really didn't want to be around his father. He yelled at him when his father tried stealing some of his pancakes. A scream ripped through the air. The man pulled up a mother and held the sword to her throat.

"Everyone will do as I say! I'm in charge!" Emily and Mike's attention went to the boy who was in the same booth as his mother.

"What's with him?" Mike asked

"No clue but we have to stop him. You get the child and I'll get the man."

Mike nodded and then ducked down so he wouldn't be seen. Just as he was close enough, he nodded to Emily and went for the child. The man saw him but his attention went to Emily when she came in front of the man. The man was about to strike when Mike's father ran in front of her, "Look out."

"Dad." Mike muttered as he grabbed the child.

"Who do you think you are?" the man yelled as brought his sword down. Mike's father moved Emily out of the way and took the hit, getting a long slash on his arm.

"Mike, get the boy out of here!" Emily yelled.

Mike nodded and carried the boy and went to the door, "Everyone run!" those who were near the door did just that. As the people ran out the door, Moggers came from gaps that where in the café. "Crap."

The Moggers pushed everyone that was still in the café to the back. Emily helped Mike's dad up when she saw the sword pointed in their direction, "Don't defy me." The man yelled

"Okay," Mike's father said, "I'm sorry." As he said this Emily's eyes widened as she saw the mother pick up a baby that had to be beside her in the booth. Then she turned to Mike's dad as he still apologized to the man.

With Mike he put the boy down and making sure he was ok he looked back at the café, "If dad hadn't gotten in the way…" he turned when he heard a screech of car tires. He saw a man just take off in a car. Then he heard screams and saw woman attempting to hit people with bags. When he heard other screams he saw a construction worker attacking people with a Mogger sword. "What's going on?" Mike pulled out his phone, "Jayden…"

"Got it." Jayden said.

The construction worker yelled, "Listen to me." As he was about to strike down, Mike stopped him with his sword.

"Stop it." Mike yelled trying to talk sense to the man.

"Don't get in my way!" the swords pushed away from each other and Mike dodged the attacks that where being thrown at him, blocking as he thought, 'this guy's human. So I can't just slash him.' Just as the swords made an X, Mike noticed the egg on the man's head. It was just like the one on the hostage taker. Mike pushed him off and then slashed the egg. As it broke, the man fell on his knees.

He dropped the sword in fear, "what…what was I doing?"

Just then, Jayden, Mia and Kevin ran up and watch in wonder at the chaos the people were causing, "Guys, cut the eggs on their heads. They'll turn back to normal."

Kevin and Mia pulled out the swords and catching the people off guard, they slashed the eggs. Getting the people back to normal, they meet up with Mike.

"Is that all of them?"

"No, there's one in that café. There are hostages and Moggers plus Emily is in there as well."

Back in the café, Emily tied a handkerchief around the cut on Mike's father's arm. He acted a bit childishly when it was tightened.

"It's only a simple one."

"Thanks."

Back with others, Mike closed his Samuraizer. "Em should get the text."

"She'll tell us how it is inside and then we'll all go in together." Jayden said

"What I can't believe is that your dad is in there as well." Kevin said

"If he didn't get in the way, Em and I could have finished it easy." The group turned when they heard more screams. A couple was running away from another 'infected' person. Jayden pulled out his sword and with amazing speed, he dodged an attack and cut the egg. The man dropped the sword and took off.

"Again." Mia said as they reached Jayden.

"We have to cut it off at the source. A nighlock has to be behind this." Jayden said

"But we can't ignore this." Mia said when Mike's Samuraizer went off

"Kevin, we'll leave this to you."

"Right."

"Mia, Kevin, let's go."

Back with Emily, she opened the text Mike sent her. "We'll do this at 2:30. It's 2:22." Emily said reading the text.

"Wait, Mike's doing this? Will we be ok?" Mike's father wondered

"We'll be fine." Emily answered confidently, "8 more minutes."

Back with the nighlock he just turned two other people, "humans, turn this world into hell." He said as he giggled as they ran off. Just then, Jayden in his ranger form, attacked. Kevin and Mia came up behind him.

"So you're the one behind these strange incidents?"

"Oh, the Samurai Rangers? Don't get in my way. Aren't the eggs that turn humans into nighlock just wonderful?"

"Not from where I'm standing. You guys take care of the people."

Back with Emily, she read her watch, "5 more minutes." She looked over to Mike's dad who yawned

"Oh sorry."

"No its ok. It's just I would of misunderstood you if it wasn't for that child."

"Child?"

"I didn't notice the baby. If we had continued to fight, the baby would have been in danger. Thanks to you, it's safe now."

"That was just a fluke. But I am glad about what you said."

"Hm?"

"About Mike. You said so frankly that he's ok."

"Mike was known to slack off at first and be inexperienced but because of free way of fighting and symbols he's way stronger than people think."

"No way."

"Mike really resembles his father doesn't he? I can tell."

"Man. I never really taught him the Samurai stuff. His mother died when he was really young. I knew he'd need to have fun before he got pulled into the samurai stuff. I guess that's why he's a free in a scence. This is why I'm like this. We use to play together."

"I think you may have taught him more about the samurai way then you realised."

"Thanks."

Emily looked at her watch, "It's time. 3, 2, 1." Her sword appeared and she stood, getting the attention of the man. Just behind them, the symbol for bamboo appeared and a stalk appeared, breaking through the roof. Mike slid down and started slashing down Moggers. Emily got the attention of the man and before he attacked, she broke the egg on the man's head. Just then Mike finished the last Mogger and the hostages ran out, the boy running back in to meet his mother.

"Oh, what was I doing?" the man asked, screaming when he saw the sword in his hand. The man dropped it and looked around, "Where's my bag? Where are you bag, bag, bag?" with that the man ran out.

"Dad, you didn't bother Emily did you?" Mike asked

"She treat me." His father said gesturing to the handkerchief.

Mike sighed when a still surviving Mogger popped up behind Mike's father. "Dad!"

Mike's father grabbed the dropped Mogger sword and slashed at the Mogger and those who joined him.

Emily and Mike looked in amazement at the way Mike's father attacked the Moggers. Just when he finished the last one, he dropped the sword and held his wound, "Mike it hurts!" Mike sighed at his father's childish behaviour. "You've gotten stronger. When you beat these new guys, why don't you call me so we can have pancakes together?"

"Whatever." Mike said before leaving, Emily following him.

Back with the others, Kevin and Mia were able to break the eggs on the people's heads, while Jayden fought Sasamadag. So far Jayden had dodged all the attacks and landed some of his own. Mia and Kevin then attacked from behind.

"You sure are stubborn. Take this!" the nighlock let lose eggs that the 3 dodged. They turned out to be bombs. Sasamadag aimed more at Jayden who used his Spin Sword attack to turn them to boiled eggs.

"You turned my eggs to boiled eggs!"

"And that's not the only thing." The nighlock turned to see Lauren in ranger form with the black box. "Super Spin Disk! Super Blazing Strike!" the attack turned the nighlock to dust.

"What are you doing here?" Mia asked as Lauren jumped to their level.

"The Scencer went off and Antonio insisted I go and help." They turned when they heard the roar of the second life.

Emily and Mike were heading there when Mike stopped, "Hey Em, when you get stronger, you can see the stronger. I've always seen my father's swordplay but it never stops to amaze me." Then he ran forward, Emily following.

"Samuraizer! Go, Go, Samurai!" the two yelled drawing their symbols and jumping. They landed in their ranger from as Lauren put the Union disk in the black box.

"Super Samurai Combination!"

"Claw Armor Megazord! We are united!"

"My eggs are still useful!" Sasamadag let loose the egg bombs

"Ahh!"

"These things are really powerful!" Emily said

"Dragon Leap!" Kevin activated the DragonZord.

"Energy Blast!" Emily, Mia and Jayden activated the Zords in the back. It destroyed the bombs and hit Sasamadag

"Time to end this." Lauren said as they landed, "Super Samurai Artillery!"

"Samurai Battle Cannon! Battle Cannon Blast!"

The MegaZord turned as the nighlock blew up behind it

"Samurai Rangers, victory is ours." Lauren said

As the rangers walked home, Emily and Mike talked about his dad. "Your dad is stronger than you give him credit for." Emily said

"Well, I guess."

"Though now we're even. You met my dad and I met yours."

"I'd take your dad anytime."
