Drumroll please!

I present to you, drabble number 250!

Alright, a bit of background to this before we begin: Blaine proposed to Kurt… while having sex. And in their engagement party, they don't feel like sharing that bit of TMI, so they make up a different story. Santana realizes what they're up to, though.

(Can you tell I love that sex-proposal thing? Neh, I don't think it's obvious yet)

Gotcha

They were drinking wine, like real grown-ups. Wine in actual wineglasses, like real grown-ups. And they were sitting in a circle on the rug, like real grown-ups.

"So now that we're all here," started Rachel with an excited grin.

"At your engagement party," Mercedes cut her off, and Blaine blushed, smiling and looking down when Kurt squeezed his hand.

"Why don't you tell us how exactly you got engaged?" she went on.

"Yeah," Brittany agreed. "How come you never told us?"

They glanced at each other, and Kurt said, "Well, we told you Blaine proposed to me."

"Uh, details?" demanded Rachel.

"Yeah, how come you never told us how it happened?" asked Mercedes.

"Come on, Hummel, you know you wanna gush over your boy," added Santana.

Britt nodded absently.

They glanced at each other again, and Blaine gulped. "Well, I took him to Central Park." That wasn't a lie. Yet.

Kurt realized quickly where he was going, and joined in, smiling- it was the happiest moment in his life, wasn't it? "It was so romantic, a picnic at sunset with roses and wine and everything!"

The girls sighed collectively.

He was improvising quickly, a thing he became good at- he was an actor, after all. "And then he said, 'I'm going to get something' and, like, suspicious, right?"

Blaine rolled his eyes at that, and it was so Kurt-like that Brittany thought maybe they switched bodies for a second.

"And he comes back…" Kurt found Blaine's eyes, asking for approval for whatever crazy story he has planned, and Blaine nodded slightly. "Riding a white horse!"

Blaine almost choked on his wine, but concealed it well. He couldn't conceal his blush, though- he may have not been riding the traditional white horse, no, but he was riding something else when he proposed, and he might've referred to it as some kind of horse while being just a bit intoxicated.

The girls didn't seem to doubt the story, besides Rachel, who asked, "Wait, where did you get a horse?"

Blaine's eyes widened. "I, um, paid one of the guys with the carriages so he'll lend it to me."

She shook her head, smiling. "Of course."

"And he sang, too-"

"Teenage Dream," Blaine smiled. His original plan was singing (but apparently it was quite hard to sing while panting so badly) so might as well add it in.

The girls aww'd.

"And then, you know, he gets down on one knee, and let me tell you, I was surprised." That wasn't a lie, either- he was so shocked his entire body went completely still for about a minute as he stared at the beautiful ring, and then a whimpered 'yes' before crushing their lips together.

"And that's the story of how I met you father, kids," Kurt joked, and the girls laughed. Blaine kissed his cheek, and Santana rolled her eyes, but hugged Britt closer.

When the night was over and everyone was leaving, Santana stopped by the door and smirked at them. Blaine looked away and Kurt swallowed.

"Yeah, good to know you realize you're caught in the act, boys. Next time, please make it less obvious so I don't have to suffer the mental image." And then she chuckled, and they all burst out laughing.

Words cannot describe how much I love you, my beautiful readers. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and without you- I don't even want to think about it.

Thank you. So much. :*
