So after last update's comedic story, we're going to take things back to Claptrap! When we last left our...hero, he had gotten separated from the rest of the new Vault Hunters. A mysterious stranger held him hostage, turning out to be none other than...

"Athena!" Claptrap exclaimed, looking at his former partner. "How...How are things?"

"...I've been on the run since we helped Jack take control of Pandora." Athena replied. "I could be better."

"Great! Great." Claptrap said, forcing an awkward smile. "So...you haven't by any chance gotten into bounty hunting, have you?"

"...No." Athena replied.

"Oh, that's even better!" Claptrap exclaimed. "That means you're not going to try killing me!" He paused. "...You're not going to try to kill me, are you?"

"No." Athena replied. "I've heard that isn't a good idea."

"Yeah." Claptrap said. "I'm kinda a badass. Did you see the tattoos?" He asked, showing off the markings on his arms. "Full blown Siren!"

"Are you sure you should be showing those off?" Athena asked.

"What's the worst that could happen?" Claptrap asked, smiling his largest, stupidest smile.

Athena sighed, putting her palm to her forehead. "Listen, Claptrap, I need your help."

"Cool!" Claptrap exclaimed. "I happen to be a real Vault Hunter now, since I don't think it really counted last time, so just give me a minute to repair my com device and I'll let my team-"

"I was asking for your help, and only your help." Athena clarified.

"...Are you sure that's a good idea?" Claptrap asked. "I'm...better on a team. Oh! Are we getting the gang back together?" He paused. "Well, I mean the alive ones. Wilhelm and Nisha are dead, you know, cause Vault Hunters. But we can get Not-Jack and the ice lady!"

"Timothy has willingly made himself a very difficult person to track down." Athena said. "It's understandable. I don't have the most recognizable face in all of Pandora, so imagine what he has to go through. I suspect he's still on the planet somewhere. I also know that Aurelia went with him, so she's just as hard to find."

"Oh." Claptrap said. "I liked Not-Jack."

"I did too." Athena agreed. "Regardless, you weren't entirely wrong about the 'gang back together' part. The problem is Nisha and Wilhelm."

"Athena, I told you, they're dead." Claptrap said. "They got blown up a lot. It was pretty violent. Well, everything is, so…"

"Jack brought them back." Athena said. "They've both been converted to robot/human hybrids."

"Well, that's all Wilhelm always wanted, so good for him!" Claptrap commented.

"Claptrap." Athena said, attempting to keep Claptrap focused. "They've taken over Elpis." She paused. "They have Janey."

"Ah." Claptrap said. "And you want my help?"

"I figured this was our mess to clean up." Athena replied. "We should work together to stop them from hurting anyone. We should own up to our mistakes."

"...Well, thing is, I'm kinda in the middle of something right now." Claptrap said. "My team is probably looking for me, and the moon is pretty far away, and who knows how long it would take to get there and back and-"

"I have a ship that will get us there in ten minutes." Athena said.

"That's pretty fast." Claptrap said.

"It's one-way." Athena replied. "If we succeed, Janey will be able to use her prototype transporter to get you back on Pandora."

"What about you guys?" Claptrap asked.

"You would need to go back more than we would." Athena replied. "Janey and I will be able to survive on the moon. We've done it for the last few years."

"...So THAT's why you guys couldn't come to my birthday party!" Claptrap exclaimed.

"...Sure." Athena replied. "So what do you say, Claptrap? Will you help me? As a favor to a friend?"

"Friend?" Claptrap asked.

"I...I suppose so…" Athena replied.

"Then of course!" Claptrap exclaimed. "I'd do anything for my friends! I don't have a lot of them so I need to keep to ones I have close! To the moon!" He pointed up toward the sky.

Athena, in response, pointed to the side. "We will be taking this rocket."

Claptrap followed her finger. "Oh." He said. "It looks a bit...snug."

"We don't have the luxury of room right now." Athena replied. "Come one." She said, walking toward the ship.

"How...how bad can it be?" Claptrap asked timidly, following Athena.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"Stop screaming, Claptrap!"

"We're gonna die!"

"We aren't going to die if you stop moving like that! It's a small ship! You're moving it off course!"

"I'M NOT GONNA STOP SO WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!"

"Claptrap! Stop that!"

"Moon!"

"What?"

"MOON!"

"Moon-Shit! Emergency landing! We're going down!"

"I could have told you that! I'm too young to die!"

"Brace yourself for landing!"

"Brace yourself for DEATH!"

"Shut UP, CLAPTRAP!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

CRASH!

I really like the character of Timothy, but I didn't really know about him when I wrote up the outline for this story. I figured the same thing would happen to Aurelia, so I kinda wrote them out of this main part of the story. They might show up later, but not in a main role.
