Ok so the last chapter had been sitting in my flash drive for who knows how long. I'm confused as to why I didn't post it. I think I sent to a friend to look at it but he/she never got back to me. Oh well, please enjoy this next chapter. One of the reviews was able to guess which this one is.
'J' is for Jealousy
Kevin had his eyes closed as he concentrated. When he opened his eyes, the LightZord let out a wave of disks. He lifted his practise sword about to hit one coming towards his face when he was distracted by a scream. The disk hit him in the middle of his forehead. He turned to see Jayden holding Mia to his chest with his arm. He and Mia were laughing, completely ignoring their training. He growled under his breath when another disk hit him in the back of his head. He glared at LightZord, who beeped before floating back inside. He wouldn't admit it to his friends, but he was jealous. Of what exactly? Mia and Jayden.
He had like Mia since he first saw her in the car that faithful day. She was pretty, nice, encouraging and strong. He spent time with her but she still for Jayden. Jayden had practically no experience with girls, was more focused on his mission and never showed whether or not he had affections for Mia. But they still ended up together. Ok so it was usually the pink ranger with the red, but this was beyond unfair! What did Jayden have that he didn't?
He heard another scream. He turned to the door that led to the outside dojo. Lauren was running out, Antonio right behind her.
"Oh no you don't! Come back here!" he couldn't believe what he was seeing, Lauren laughing as Antonio chased her with a cup of water. He then noticed his hair and shirt were wet. They had been doing the dishes so he guessed what happened. This was just great, Lauren was probably just like him yet she wanted to be with Antonio, who may he add, wasn't really a Samurai ranger. How did he get so close to Lauren anyway? It had to of been when Jayden was missing when she first came back. He had tried to connect with her, but nothing. Then he heard the back gates open. Mike and Emily were coming back from a date.
God even Mike, of all people, had a girlfriend. Not that he like Emily like that but how'd Mike get a girlfriend and he didn't? Mike was abrasive, stubborn and never listened. Emily was the opposite. How, just how.
Yes he wouldn't admit it to anyone, but he was jealous. Jealous of everyone being happy with each other while he just sat there, alone.
