I know I've been gone for so long but school has been really annoying, so please enjoy

P is for Promise

Mia stood in front of make-up mirror putting on eyeliner when her Samuraizer went off.

"Hello? Are the half-nighlocks destroying the city so soon?" Mia asked.

"Strangely no," Jayden, Mia's boyfriend, answered, "but let's hope they don't because I was wondering if you'd like to go out for lunch after work?"

Mia couldn't help but smile, "I'd love to. I just have this show and then a signing after, so I should be done by 3. It's at the mall if you want to pick me up."

"I'll be there, bye."

"Bye." Just as she hung up, Trent came in

"On stage in 5, come on."

"Coming." About 3 songs and an hour of meet and greet later, Mia was waiting in front of the mall, a baseball hat and sunglasses, hiding her identity from unwanted paparazzi. She saw the Shiba car pull up and smiled when she saw Jayden in the driver seat.

"Hey, right on time." Mia said pulling off her hat and climbing in. she planted a kiss on Jayden's cheek as he drove away from the mall.

"I was going to wait for you inside, but it seems that everyone in the whole city came to see you perform." Jayden said, driving towards the park

"I'm glad people enjoyed it though. After all the performances I had to run out of, I keep thinking people wold get annoyed and just not come."

Jayden laced his figures through Mia's, "Well if the whole city still comes to see you perform, then you know they can't hate you."

They finally reached the park. The two walked to a secluded area and Jayden laid out a chequered blanket.

Mia stretched, falling back on the blanket, "I'm so tired. Trent thinks I'm going to be retired by the end of the month if I don't keep up appearances."

Jayden handed Mia a plastic container and a fork, "like I said before, no one will want you to leave the music industry."

"Well, let's hope." Mia opened the container to reveal shrimp Alfredo. "Yum, you make it?"

"Got Antonio to do the shrimp, but I used my dad's recipe."

The two ate and talked. Soon they reached dessert. Jayden lifted a large chocolate box with strawberries between the box and the cover.

"Oh, chocolate and strawberries. I do need a pick me up."

"Look inside, I think you'll like what's inside."

Curious, Mia lifted the top of the box and saw a ring box in it, "Jayden?"

Lifting the box out he said, "I'm not proposing, not yet. It's a promise ring. Just a promise to keep you happy, no matter what."

Mia gave him a smile and pulled him into a kiss, "Thank you, this is best thing anyone's ever done for me."

Jayden helped her put on the ring before she pulled him into another kiss. Best date ever.
