Hello everyone. I'm sorry this took me so long to update. I have a summer job and I'm going to college at the end of this month plus working on a new story, I didn't have a lot of time. So please enjoy this chapter as my apology.
Ok so this is a later author note. I've seemed to once again write a chapter for this story and didn't post it. Sorry! Please enjoy.
R is for Rain
Lauren sat in her bedroom looking out the window. Rain fell against it, creating the only noise in the room. She watched, entranced, as each drop slid down the window pane. Despite her element being fire, Lauren loved the rain. Back when she was training, whenever it rained ment that she could relax and forget her duties. She thought of rain as a way to wash away her stress. She came out of her staptor when someone knocked on her door.
"Come in." the opened and Antonio poked his head in.
"Hola amiga. What are you doing?" he asked as he walked in the room and closed the door
"Nothing, just watching the rain."
The haspanic teen raised an eyebrow, "you like the rain? Jay hates it."
"well I like it. Ever since I was training to learn the Seal Symbol, whenever it rained it felt like I had nothing to worry about."
Antonio still looked confused so Lauren patted the spot next to her, "come sit. I'll show you what I mean."
Antonio climbed on her bed and sat next to her indian style. He looked at the older blonde and waited for his next instructions
"ok, I want you to close your eyes and clear your mind. Focus only on the rain. Listen to it rythem and imagine how it would feel." Antonio did as she said and closed his eyes and focused. He heard the rain and could see it clearly in his mind. His eyes flickered as if the droplets fell on his eyelashes.
"Now I want to focus on any troubles you might be having. Feel the rain wash them all away and make you feel clean."
The Gold Ranger kept his eyes closed for a bit longer before they fluttered opened. He looked more relaxed as he turned to Lauren
"now I see it. Wow that was almost as relaxing as fishing or listening to music." He said as he stretched his hands above his head.
Lauren smiled but then noticed the room was silent; the rain stopped.
"Hey Lauren," the blonde girl turned to her brother's best friend, "think I can join you next time it rains?"
A smile graced her face, "sure, I'd like that."
Short and sweet. I hope you enjoyed. Please review!
