Why is Blangst so much fun.
Also I think I'm beginning to understand John Green.
Also, feel free to send some more Blangst prompts for this Blangst week! :)
Also, this is a prompt from NikkiKlaine.
Panic! In the Classroom
Blaine was sitting in class with his arms crossed, rapidly tapping his foot against the floor. An uneasy feeling crept onto him that morning, and Kurt didn't pick up his phone when he called, which only made him more anxious.
Why wouldn't Kurt answer? Kurt always answered the phone when he called. He knew how paranoid Blaine could be.
Something… something was making his heart beat too fast, too hard, somehow, until all he could hear was his pulse ringing loudly in his ears and he felt dizzy. He was also developing a headache that felt like someone was pounding with a hammer on his temple.
He looked at the clock for the eleventh time since he got in the room, and seeing that only five minutes passed, he couldn't take it anymore. He just couldn't. Worrying his lip with his teeth (he could hear Kurt scolding him for it), he raised his hand.
"Yes, Blaine?" Mrs. Benson looked at him over her glasses.
"Um, can I go use the restroom?"
She nodded at him, returning to read from the paper in her hands. He all but ran outside, pulling his phone out of his pocket as soon as he was safely out of her hearing range. His hand was shaking when he unlocked the phone and speed-dialed Kurt's number.
It wasn't Kurt who picked up. "Hey, Anderson. Aren't you supposed to be in class?"
"Oh, hi, Burt. Um, is Kurt there? He didn't answer when I called earlier." He heard shuffling on the other side of the line and a quiet, hoarse voice. His stomach jumped.
"Yeah, it's him," Burt muttered, his voice distant. "Alright, alright. Yes, Kurt's here," Burt's voice was clear again. "He's a little under the weather, that's all. But you're still going to ditch class to make sure he's okay, because you don't trust his dad to take care of him, huh?" he sounded amused.
"It's not that- that I don't trust you, of course I do, it's just-"
"Yeah, I know, I know. You can come over, son, it's alright," Burt assured him.
"Okay. Can you please tell Kurt I'll be there in ten minutes?"
